The Graham Norton Show is always worth a watch, and tonight's episode is no exception.

Dublin singer Imelda May will be lighting up the small screen stage as Graham's musical guest, and we're dying to hear her perform the songs from her new album, Life Love Flesh Blood.

The singer is no stranger to the show, having appeared as a guest back in 2011 to discuss her first album.

Billie Piper will also be in attendance to chat about her return to the role of Yerma at the Young Vic, while comedian Jason Manford will be on to discuss his new hosting gig.

Guy Ritchie and Charlie Hunnam will also be sitting down with Graham to discuss their new film, King Arthur.

The Graham Norton Show kicks off tonight at 10.40pm on BBC One, and if you have ever wanted front row tickets, here is how to get them

Unless you were very lucky and had a bit of a lie-in this Friday morning, you will probably have noticed that the rain has returned.

We knew the fair weather was too good to last, but we didn't expect it to dissapear quite so soon.

The rain is set to continue into the weekend, with a mix of heavy rainfall and scattered showers.

Met Eireann is warning that the high levels of rain over the next few days will also bring a risk of localised flooding.

'Mixed weather is expected to continue through much of the outlook period with the potential for some high rainfall accumulations over the next few days, bringing a risk of localised flooding.'

Today is set to be rainy with a risk of thundery downpours. However, it won't get too cold, with temperatures still reaching a potential 18 degrees.

Tomorrow will be cooler with yet more rain, but Sunday will be bright with scattered sun showers.

Unfortunately, Ireland failed to secure a place in the Eurovision Final last night.

As expected, Irish folk gathered to watch the events unfold on screen, and while the show was amazing, the real action was all happening on Twitter.

With disappointment, anguish, and plenty of Father Ted references, here are some of the best reactions to Ireland's Eurovision bid:

Ireland has failed to land a place in the Eurovision Grand Final this weekend.

Despite Galway man Brendan Murray giving an excellent performance in last night's Semi-Final, Ireland missed out on a position in the top 10.

Ireland has not been in the Eurovision Grand Final since 2013.

'I'm disappointed, but life is full of knocks so I'm going to take it on the chin and move on,' said Brendan, according to RTÉ.

'Tomorrow's another day.'

Romania, Denmark, Austria, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Belarus, Croatia, Hungary, Israel and Norway and are all through to this weekend's final in Kyiv.

Miley Cyrus just dropped her latest single Malibu, and it's without a doubt one of the singer's most beautiful tracks to date.

The 23-year-old penned the love song for soon-to-be husband Liam Hemsworth and it's giving everyone the ultimate relationship FOMO.

In the video, which was co-directed by the songstress herself, we see a fresh faced Miley dancing around beaches and meadows, and at one point we even hear whisper the words ''marry me.''

We're not crying, we swear.

Unsurprisingly, Miley's fans have been left emotionally broken following the release.

Mailbu is the first single from the Miley's forthcoming album, due to be released later this year.

Fashion retailer Zara, is known to provide high-end style at high-street prices and shoppers are going crazy for their latest offering.

The popular store have taken inspiration from Dolce & Gabbana for their new Printed Slingback Mid Heel Shoes, and they're quickly becoming this season's must-have item.

Eagle-eyed shoppers have noticed that the sling-backs bare a striking resemblance to Dolce & Gabbana's Printed Varnish Pumps.

The shoes are almost identical in style and shape, with just slightly different floral prints setting them apart.

Well, that and the price.

Dolce & Gabbana's designer pair will set you back hefty €625, while the knock-off version comes in at a modest €49.95 in comparison.

By our calculations €625 would get you 13 pairs of Zara's low-budget alternative – or y'know, pay your rent for the month.

Remember when Ireland pretty much owned the Eurovision?

Oh, the other countries would show up alright, but we'd basically wipe the floor with them, and that is exactly why the Irish have a very special place in their hearts for the annual song contest.

If you're one of the thousands who tune in year in and year out then you'll be pleased to hear that by simply parking yourself in front of the box and popping a bottle or two of vino, you'll be in with a chance to get up front and centre with the one and only Graham Norton.

If you want to get your hands on a VIP trip to The Graham Norton Show, pick up a bottle of Graham Norton GN Sauvignon Blanc or Shiraz in Centra this week, and simply tweet a snap of yourself tucking in.

Don't forget to stick the #CentraLovesGraham hashtag on your post, and then sit back and prepare your story for the Corkman's Big Red Chair.

Cheers, ladies!

Book worms listen up!

It turns out your love of reading could actually have a huge effect on your personality.

According to Marie Claire, researchers at Kingston University surveyed 123 people and asked whether they preferred reading books, watching TV or going to the theatre before putting their interpersonal skills to the test.

The results revealed that book-lovers came out on top when it came to their ability to express empathy towards others.

Researchers at the British Psychological Society explained, ‘Exposure to fiction relates to a range of empathetic abilities.’

‘Engaging with fictional prose and comedy in particular could be key to enhancing people’s empathetic abilities.’

But that's not all.

Marie Claire also revealed that a separate study conducted by online dating service, eHarmony, found that users received more messages when mentioned they certain books in their profiles.

Apparently, women are more likely to message men who mention the following:

  1. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

  2. 1984

  3. World War II

  4. The Da Vinci Code

While men showed an increased interest in women you mentioned the following works of fiction:

  1. The Hunger Games

  2. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo

  3. A Game of Thrones

  4. To Kill a Mockingbird

  5. Pride and Prejudice

  6. Harry Potter series

  7. Lord of the Rings series

Jamal Sul was having a mad night out in Dublin to celebrate the end of his thesis, as you do.

Unfortunately, Jamal was a bit dozy in the taxi on the way home, so much so that he forgot his laptop in the cab.

This would be pretty awful enough for anyone, but it was extra problematic for Jamal, whose entire catalogue of PHD files resides on his missing laptop.

Dubliners have been sharing Jamal's public plea for help all afternoon, but the search is about to go viral thanks to the help of one very well known author.

JK Rowling took to Twitter to share Jamal's plight., saying 'One of my worst nightmares has happened to this poor man. RT to help!'

The tweet from JK's page has already been retweeted almost 4,000 times, so hopefully Jamal gets his laptop returned to him ASAP.

We'll be on the look out for that navy blue taxi!

It can be difficult for anyone to get a good night's rest, but for people with disorders like anxiety and insomnia it can be even tougher.

Luckily, a brand new blanket concept has been invented which is proven to help us all get the best quality kip.

There has been plenty of research done of the positive effects of weighted blankets, and a new company called Gravity has taken that research on board to create a new product to comfort those who are stressed or suffering.

Gravity

Gravity is a weighted blanket engineered to be 10 per cent of your body weight, to naturally reduce stress and increase relaxation through deep pressure simulation.

Deep touch pressure stimulation is a well regarded therapeutic method that stimulates pressure points on the body linked to improved sleep, mood, and relaxation.

'Over the last year, we've studied the incredible science and medical research about the positive affects that weighted blankets can have on serious conditions like PTSD, OCD, insomnia and serious anxiety,' said John Fiorentino, the creator of Gravity.

People are clearly calling out for the product, as the Kickstarter campaign to raise $21,500 for the production of the blanket has raise an astronomical $3,036,603.

Becoming a blanket burrito has never sounded so appealing.

Ads about fitness supplements are usually eye-rollingly unrealistic, but one particular ad for Protein World prompted a slew of complaints.

The poster showed reality star Khloe Kardashian wearing a leotard with the caption 'Can you keep up with a Kardashian? Take The Protein World 30 Day Challenge.'

The ad has been cleared for use after people complained that it was irresponsible and promoted competitive dieting.

The Advertising Standards Authority received 14 complaints and the ad was heavily criticised across social media.

Others felt that Khloe has been unrealistically photoshopped.

'People taking the Tube should not have to be bombarded with adverts that imply their bodies aren’t good enough,' Green Assembly member Caroline Russell told The Evening Standard.

'Young people receive this negative message from enough social media channels and it’s appalling that this is being reinforced on Tube platforms, against the Mayor’s own policy, when people are taking trips to school, to work, or going out to socialise,' referring to another Protein World ad which was banned for asking commuters: 'Are you beach body ready?'

'We considered that the ads promoted Khloe Kardashian's body image as desirable and aspirational; this was supported by her pose and the airbrushed style,' said the ASA.

'However, we did not consider that she appeared to be out of proportion or unhealthy.'
