Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner has been accused of sexual harassment  by former show writer Kater Gordon.

Gordon and Weiner, who received an Emmy award for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series, worked together on the show.

Now Kater alleges to The Information that the producer made an inappropriate comment towards her.

After working late into the night on the show, Gordon claims:

'He told me that I owed it to him to let him see me naked.'

'I knew immediately when he crossed the boundary that it was wrong,' she told The Information.

'But I didn't know then what my options were.'

A press representative for Weiner released a statement on his behalf, saying:

'Mr. Weiner spent eight to ten hours a day writing dialogue aloud with Miss Gordon, who started on ‘Mad Men’ as his writers assistant.'

'He does not remember saying this comment nor does it reflect a comment he would say to any colleague.'

In the aftermath of admitting that he did commit sexual misconduct against five women, comedian Louis CK has been dropped by a number of companies.

Networks have severed their professional relationship with CK, and he has been removed from upcoming projects.

In a statement last night, the comic said that he had in fact masturbated in front of a number of women.

'Today, FX Networks and FX Productions are ending our association with Louis C.K.,” the network said in a statement. '

'We are cancelling the overall deal between FX Productions and his production company, Pig Newton.'

'He will no longer serve as executive producer or receive compensation on any of the four shows we were producing with him—Better Things, Baskets, One Mississippi and The Cops.'

Netflix have also announced that they will not be making his stand up comedy special.

Publicist Lewis Kay, who represented CK, has also severed ties with the comic.

He has also lost his management company, 3 Arts Entertainment.

'We are committed to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our staff, clients and the community at large, said the company, according to Deadline.

'We are doing a full internal review regarding this situation and are taking additional steps to strengthen our processes and procedures while engaging with our staff to address any concerns about harassment or abuse of power.'

Comedian Louis CK faced allegations of sexual misconduct this week from five separate women.

Now, the comedian has come forward with a statement admitting that the claims made by the women are true.

While the victim's experiences differ, most reported that the inappropriate sexual behaviour from CK involved being forced to watch the comedian masturbate.

'These stories are true,' he admits in the statement.

'At the time, I said to myself that what I did was O.K. because I never showed a woman my dick without asking first, which is also true.'

'But what I learned later in life, too late, is that when you have power over another person, asking them to look at your dick isn’t a question. It’s a predicament for them.'

'The power I had over these women is that they admired me. And I wielded that power irresponsibly,' he continues.

'I have been remorseful of my actions. And I’ve tried to learn from them. And run from them.'

'Now I’m aware of the extent of the impact of my actions. I learned yesterday the extent to which I left these women who admired me feeling badly about themselves and cautious around other men who would never have put them in that position.'

If there's one thing guaranteed to make us teary-eyed, it's a top-notch Christmas ad.

And if there's one thing guaranteed to tip us right over the edge, it's the power of nostalgia.

With this in mind, it's fair to say Boots have knocked it out of the park this festive season.

As part of their #ShowThemYouKnowThem campaign, the retail giant have tapped into the unique relationship women share with their sisters in an ad which shows two siblings silently take a trip down memory lane together.

"It’s about old memories and the new ones you’re yet to make," Boots reminds us. "It’s about the secrets you’ve shared and the laughs you won’t forget."

The ad, which will go live tomorrow night during X Factor, had most of sniffling into our sleeves and reminding ourselves just how much we love that sister of ours.

Take a look at this…

Grazia magazine has come under fire this week after Oscar-winner, Lupita Nyong'o, expressed upset over the fact her image was digitally altered on the cover of the publication's latest edition.

The 12 Years a Slave actress took to Instagram last night, and explained why the publication's decision to remove her ponytail has such wide-reaching implications.

"As I have made clear so often in the past with every fiber of my being, I embrace my natural heritage and despite having grown up thinking light skin and straight, silky hair were the standards of beauty, I now know that my dark skin and kinky, coily hair are beautiful too," Lupita began in a lengthy Instagram post.

"Being featured on the cover of a magazine fulfils me as it is an opportunity to show other dark, kinky-haired people, and particularly our children, that they are beautiful just the way they are."

As I have made clear so often in the past with every fiber of my being, I embrace my natural heritage and despite having grown up thinking light skin and straight, silky hair were the standards of beauty, I now know that my dark skin and kinky, coily hair are beautiful too. Being featured on the cover of a magazine fulfills me as it is an opportunity to show other dark, kinky-haired people, and particularly our children, that they are beautiful just the way they are. I am disappointed that @graziauk invited me to be on their cover and then edited out and smoothed my hair to fit their notion of what beautiful hair looks like. Had I been consulted, I would have explained that I cannot support or condone the omission of what is my native heritage with the intention that they appreciate that there is still a very long way to go to combat the unconscious prejudice against black women's complexion, hair style and texture. #dtmh

"I am disappointed that @graziauk invited me to be on their cover and then edited out and smoothed my hair to fit their notion of what beautiful hair looks like."

"Had I been consulted, I would have explained that I cannot support or condone the omission of what is my native heritage with the intention that they appreciate that there is still a very long way to go to combat the unconscious prejudice against black women's complexion, hair style and texture," she asserted.

Grazia has issued a statement in response to Lupita's justifiable upset, and acknowledged that the issue was one worth discussing, but asserts that they had not requested the digital alteration.

"Grazia is committed to representing diversity throughout its pages and apologises unreservedly to Lupita Nyong'o," they began.

"Grazia magazine would like to make it clear that at no point did they make any editorial request to the photographer for Lupita Nyong's' hair to be altered on this week's cover, nor did we alter it ourselves."

"But we apologise unreservedly for not upholding the highest of editorial standards in ensuring that we were aware of all alternations that had been made."

Twitter is far from impressed with the magazine's apology, with one social media user writing: "What a BS apology! Who if not you altered Lupita's image?"

"There are many ways to tell that this ‘apology’ is utter horseshit. However, the clearest way we can tell that you don’t actually give AF nor understand Lupita’s point is that you are still using the edited photo as your Twitter pic. Y’all ain’t too bright," added another.

Over the course of the last month, the sheer number of Hollywood heavy-hitters, who have been accused of sexual harassment, assault and rape is nothing short of staggering.

From Harvey Weinstein, Dustin Hoffman, and Kevin Spacey to Ed Westwick, Charlie Sheen and Louis CK, the list appears to grow with every passing day.

Acknowledging both the gravity of the accusations and the number of individuals coming forward, the Los Angeles District Attorney has made the decision to establish a specially-skilled task force to tackle the cases.

Commenting on the development, Jackie Lacey said: "In response to the widespread allegations of sexual abuse in the entertainment industry, I have established a task force of specially-trained deputy district attorneys who are ready to evaluate these cases if any are referred to my office for criminal prosecution."

Providing further insight into the move, she added: "I have assigned the group of veteran sex crimes prosecutors to work together to ensure a uniformed approach to the legal review and possible prosecution of any case that meets both the legal and factual standards for criminal prosecution."

“To date, we have not received any cases from law enforcement for possible criminal filing. We are in communication with the Los Angeles and Beverly Hills police departments."

Louis CK is the latest high-profile individual to be accused of sexual misconduct.

A young woman has taken to Facebook to pay tribute to the passerby who intervened after she was assaulted on Grafton Street on Monday morning.

Becky Ni Uuinseann took to social media to outline the details of the incident which occurred at approximately 8am.

"To the guy who helped me this morning …. thank you! I never asked your name or even for your details to say thank you and I'm putting it down to shock, but maybe this might reach you somehow," she began her post.

"This morning between 7:50 and 8:05 I was attacked on Grafton street. Some guy in his 40s grabbed me and was screaming in my face while throwing digs," Becky told her followers.

While she attempted to defend herself, Becky confirmed that the passerby who intervened bore the brunt of the man's assault.

"I managed to block him but couldn't get away and only 1 person got involved and helped me get free. I'm positive he took the brunt of it once he got involved."

"Once free he walked me most of the way to work before heading on his way," Becky continued.

"If you're going through town please be careful. The guy was big and definitely was not speaking English. Please be careful and maybe take 1 ear phone out! This was broad daylight while everyone was on their way to work!"

Speaking to The Independent, Becky confirmed that she has reported the incident to the Gardaí, saying: "They couldn't have been more helpful."

"They told me that not enough people report these things. No matter how small you may think the incident is you really should report it because usually these people are known to the guards."
