Convicted drug smuggler Michaella McCollum and her accomplice Melissa Reid, dubbed the Peru Two, are reportedly in talks to star on Big Brother.

The women gained infamy in 2013 when they were caught trying to illegally smuggle almost €2,000,000 worth of cocaine out of the country in their luggage.

“Michaella has made no secret of her dream to become a reality TV star," a source told The Sun

“She’s spent the last six months trying to build up her profile and her image – and just days ago she was even snapped on the beach in a very revealing swimming costume."

“It’s all part of her bid to get her name out there in the lead up to returning to our screens – this time on an entertainment show, not BBC News."

“Big Brother producers have been chatting to her about getting her on the next series of the show, which is a pairs theme."

With the duos theme, both Michaella and Melissa would have to agree to the show.

"They think the girls will help to stir up some excitement and chatter for the new series, as well as bring some glamour and drama.”

Apparently Michaella is more up for doing the show than Melissa, but we will just have to wait and see how this one pans out.

The pair previously appeared on Channel 4 documentary Brits Behind Bars: Cocaine Smugglers, so it wont be the first time the former smugglers are on camera.

It seems that Katy Perry is just like us when it comes to break ups.

The singer took to Instagram to showcase a brand new, post-breakup haircut after her split from Orlando Bloom, and it's a pretty dramatic change.

The songstress opted for a bleach blonde, choppy pixie cut that's giving us major Miley Cyrus vibes.

The new 'do looks drop-dead gorgeous on the star, and proves that post-breakup hair changes aren't just for us mere mortals.

Whether Katy cried over a pint of Ben & Jerry's has yet to be revealed, but it's always a possibility. We knew she was just like us!

Not content with just debuting her new look, the singer also hopped onto Twitter to make a snappy statement abut her breakup.

"No one's a victim or a villain, get a life y'all!" she said.

"You can still be friends and love your former partners," said the star, ceraly referencing that things are amicable between herself and LOTR star Orlando.

The pair were together for just over a year, but the couple have called it quits on their relationship for the time being.

“Before rumours or falsifications get out of hand, we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time," reads a statement from both celebrities' reps, acquired by People

Hopefully the two enjoy their break and then rekindle their relationship.

No surprise here, there are three more weather warnings in effect today, and it doesn't look like the rain is set to ease off over the weekend.

Met Éireann have announced a status yellow weather warning for the entire country, with a further code yellow weather advisory warning in place.

"There will periods of heavy rain, with some severe downpours at times, especially in southwestern, western and northwestern counties with spot flooding," according to the weather monitor.

There is even a possibility of some sleet and snow at times, along with hailstones and thunderstorms.

So a bit of everything, really.

In another warning, a status yellow rainfall warning was also issued for Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare and Kerry.

There will be some very heavy downpours in these areas throughout Friday with a possibility as much as 40mm will fall in places.

"Cold and very unsettled weather will continue right over the weekend."

We won't get the barbecue out quite yet, then.

Jane Fonda has opened up about her difficult past, and revealed that she was a victim of sexual assault and rape.

The 79-year-old reflected on her history of being abused as a woman, and used her personal experiences to make a powerful statement about feminism.

The fitness guru sat down with Brie Larson for an interview in The Edit, and discussed being a survivor of sexual abuse.

"To show you the extent to which a patriarchy takes a toll on females; I've been raped, I've been sexually abused as a child and I've been fired because I wouldn't sleep with my boss and I always thought it was my fault; that I didn't do or say the right thing," she told the magazine.

"I know young girls who’ve been raped and didn’t even know it was rape. They think, 'It must have been because I said ‘no’ the wrong way.'”

Her past has played a roll in her decision to become an activist, a decision which she feels has greatly helped her hone her craft.

"I think my acting improved when I became an activist — I see things from a broader perspective."

The veteran actress became an activist in her 30s in opposition to the Vietnam War, and has continued to be vocal about social and political topics for almost 50 years.

The personal revelation was shared as part of a wider discussion about feminism, activism and female empowerment.

We swooned over him in 2004 and we're swooning over him now in 2017.

Remember the actor who played Smith in Sex and the City? Well, he's probably just as hot (or hotter) since the last time you saw him.

It's been a shocking 13 years since we said goodbye to SATC, and to be honest, we kinda forgot about Jason Lee Lewis who played the character.

But, thanks to Pretty 52 who unearthed Jason's Instagram account, we can now all bask in his sexiness.

You're welcome, ladies:

It looks like the lads had a bit of craic in Dublin last night.

Busted played the Olympia in the capital and then stopped off at 37 Dawson Street to have a few whiskeys.

They shared a photo on their Twitter account and seemed quite content in the corner relaxing after playing to a sold out crowd.

A source told Goss: "It was the last night of their tour and they were in having some drinks to celebrate with their entourage.

"They came in after their gig and had a few different whiskeys in the Whiskey Bar at the back.

"It's a fairly cosy atmosphere down there but they were all in great form having the craic with their entourage."

If only we knew they were there last night!

Oh, if we could have been a fly on the wall when this happened!

Ed Sheeran has admitted to accidentally hitting Justin Bieber on the face with the golf club.

Speaking to The Guardian, Ed said that they were in Japan at the time, and he got "hammered" in a dive bar. The lads then went to a golf course where the incident happened.

"We were in Japan. We'd been out to a dive bar. He just drank water and I got hammered.

"Then we went to a golf course, and he lay on the floor and put a golf ball in his mouth and told me to hit it out of his mouth. I was like, 'f*ck, I need to aim this properly,' and I swung.

"I'd cracked Justin Bieber right in the cheek with a golf club. That was one of those 'what the f*ck' moments."

What a night out that must have been.

Are you ever sitting at home in your PJs at night and just think, 'God, I'd love some curly fries right now'?

Yep, us too. And while we have so many restaurants that deliver to choose from, sometimes nothing beats good 'oul Maccy D's.

Well, it looks like the fast food chain could soon be coming to a front door near you!

According to The Telegraph, McDonald's wants to roll out delivery services in a number of leading markets, and our fingers are crossed that one of those markets is Ireland.

The company said in a statement: "One of the most significant disruptions in the restaurant business today is the rapid increase in delivery. Through technology, delivery has changed the way customers order, pay, track and receive food and provide feedback.

"Coupled with the explosive growth in third-party delivery companies, the landscape has created an exceptional opportunity for growth."

The delivery service was first rolled out in China and in only one year, the business has grown 30 per cent because of it.

There's no mention of when this service could possibly be rolled out, but we're hoping it'll be soon enough.

Tonight at midnight, Ed Sheeran finally releases his new album, ÷ (Divide).

To celebrate the hotly anticipated moment, there are Ed Sheeran album parties going on up and down the country.

Tower Records, on Dawson Street, Dublin are opening their doors at midnight for fans to pick up the album as soon as humanly possible.

The classic Dublin music store is also giving away two tickets to his April gig in the 3 Arena.

Those tickets are more sought after than a golden Wonka Bar find, so we can't imagine the scrum to get through the door!

OMG@Zhivago in Galway will also be opening the doors at the midnight hour for fans to get a hardcopy of the red-haired singer's tunes.

We cannot wait to hear all of the singer's brand new music.

We have been waiting over a year, after all.

Shopping for gym gear can be a stressful experience at any size, but finding plus size workout gear can be extremely tough.

Finding garments that don't chafe or dig in can be a complete pain (literally and figuratively) so going for unprofessional pieces is a no-go.

Thankfully, the gym veterans over at Nike have finally released a plus size workout collection, available right this second.

A post shared by H A Y E T R I D A (@hayet.rida) on

The collection is made up of easy, basic separates, perfect for building a high-functioning but stylish workout wardrobe.

From sports bras to leggings to T-shirts, there is a bit of everything in a range of larger sizes.

A post shared by Danielle Vanier (@daniellevanier) on

"Nike recognises that women are stronger, bolder and more outspoken than ever," reads a brand manifesto.

"In today's world, sport is no longer something that she does, it's who she is. The days where we have to add 'female' before 'athlete' are over. She is an athlete, period."

"And having helped fuel this cultural shift, we celebrate these athletes' diversity, from ethnicity to body shape."

A post shared by Gracie Francesca (@gracefvictory) on

The sportswear brand have incorporated the stylings of influencers influencers Grace Victory and Danielle Vanier to promote the line, and we're loving the looks the plus size stars have created.

Now, if only the other workout brands would follow suit.

When you’ve been working away in your career for years, sometimes it can be hard to figure out your next step.

Whether you want to go for a promotion in work or move on to greener pastures, here are a few simple tips to help you along the way:

1. Keep your CV up-to-date

You never know when an opportunity will knock on your door. Even though you might not be actively looking for a job, it’s good to look over your CV every six months and add on anything new that you might have accomplished.

It’ll save you a lot of time making last minute updates if a new job or position does come about.

2. You’re manager isn’t a mind reader

You must make sure your bosses/management know when you do a good job. There’s no point running around like a blue a*sed fly if your boss doesn’t know what you want or expect from it.

Too often employees just assume their management knows what they want, but they’re not mind-readers – you need to tell them your goals.

3. Network, network, network

You will never realise how much networking can benefit your career. A built-up network of friendships and mentors can provide you with insights that you might not be able to find anywhere else.

Job security may come and go, but a strong network of people in your industry can last forever.

4. Only pursue jobs that lead to your goals

For example, if you want to be a sports reporter, there’s no point doing work in entertainment or fashion. Stick strictly to the line of work that you want to advance in.

You will not only reach your goals in less time, but you’ll also build up specialised experience in your field.

5. Fake it ’til you make it

Now, we’re not saying lie on your CV to get where you want to be (that’s a BIG no-no), but rather fake your confidence. We all doubt ourselves and our abilities sometimes.

And it turns out, doubting ourselves can actually hold us all back. So, shoot for the stars, believe in yourself and don’t stress – what’s for you won’t pass you.
