The individual was taken to Sundrive Garda Station while the the injured party was treated at the scene by emergency services.

The incident resulted in delays which the tram operator has acknowledged via social media.

"Luas Red Line Services back on the move but there will be delays on the Red Line for approx. 1 hour until services regulate back to normal."

Commuters had taken to social media to complain about delays in this morning's service.

When best friends Georgia Gibbs and Katie Wasley posted a photo of themselves sharing a laugh at Sydney Harbour in recent months, they were absolutely flabbergasted by the backlash they received from fellow Instagram users.

Honing in on the difference between the women's body types, social media users branded Georgia a 'bad friend' for allowing her smaller frame to highlight Katie's curvier figure. (Yeah, we know, what?)

Love you unconditionally @katewas_#SunburnIsReal

A post shared by GEORGIA MAE (@georgiagibbs_) on

Recalling some of the remarks made at their expense, Georgia remembered: "You have photoshopped yourself thinner or your friend bigger, what kind of friend are you?' was one of the comments. It broke my heart because Kate and I are best friends why would I do that?'

Despite deleting the negative comments, the women felt they hadn't done enough to combat the bodyshaming, and decided to establish an Instagram account which celebrates all shapes and sizes.

"The fact that a simple picture of two people together went so viral purely because of their body types shocked me," Georgia admitted.

With that in mind, the two women created Any Body which encourages women to celebrate body diversity and pay tribute to each other's differences.

"Any Body was created because no one should have to deal with that and it shouldn't even be acknowledged."

"All I see here is two women, not one "skinny" woman and one "curvy" woman. Stop comparing everyone to each other and accept every person as beautiful in their own right."

"You have so much more to offer than just what's skin deep," they write alongside their posts.

Responding to the support they have received from women worldwide, they wrote: "We are so incredibly humbled by the response we have had from you beautiful women."

"We never expected so much love and we are so proud to see so many of you empowered and proud of your individual and beautiful bodies."

"We're best friends we walk next to each other every day and love each other for who we are and for so much more than our appearances, size 6 or 16 WHO CARES, health & happiness over size!" they tell followers.

That's a message we can get on board with.

Aside from a scattering of high-profile women who deign to admit the reality of the post-pregnancy life, Hollywood would have you believe that A-list stars sail through pregnancy, labour and the months which follow experiencing little more than a subtle stretchmark and a mild case of indigestion.

With that in mind, it's refreshing to hear that one of the entertainment industry's biggest stars is keen to shed light on the various side effects experienced by women after becoming mothers.

Speaking candidly to Elle magazine, Glee star, Naya Rivera, admits that following the birth of her son, Josey, in 2015, she began losing her hair.

Love love loving this updo for @therealdaytime today! Here we go!!!

A post shared by Naya Rivera (@nayarivera) on

"There's a real post-partum hair-thinning issue, and nobody talks about it because women are so embarrassed to admit they're losing their hair. But it's a real problem," the actress told the publication.

In an industry which prioritises appearance over much else, Naya was initially disappointed she didn't experience hair thickening during her pregnancy and then panicked by the sudden hair loss following her son's birth.

"I didn't get crazy thick amazing hair at any point during my pregnancy. I was expecting it, and waiting for it, and it never happened. I was like, "Where is my awesome part of the pregnancy bargain?" I didn't grow some amazing mane," she said.

"On top of that, with the dramatic drop in hormones that comes with breastfeeding, and then not breastfeeding, and the whole birth process, the parts around my scalp were thinning and breaking, and nothing seemed to repair them."

The star, who filed for divorce from Ryan Dorsey in November of last year, sought the help of the Glee crew, but admits there was little they could do for her.

"I would be working 16 hour days, which is normal for TV, and my hair would be in a tight ponytail that whole time. They kept spraying it with hairspray, and when I got home, it looked and felt like dried lasagna."

"Above my ears, it looked like it had been burned off with a hair iron or something. And my scalp was so dry from heat styling," she added.

Nowadays, Naya preempts any damage with a strict routine, saying: "I got to the point where, if I knew I was doing a ponytail day, I would basically coat my hair in coconut oil the night before. And to this day, I'll do that before a ponytail day. Seriously. It requires a lot of prep."

It's pretty refreshing to hear a celeb get real about these issues.

The La La Land / Moonlight mix-up during the 89th Academy Awards will go down in Oscar history, not least because of Ryan Gosling's somewhat surprising reaction to learning he had not, in fact, bagged himself a little gold statue as audience members and viewers understood.

While many would have understood a disappointed or even frustrated response from La La Land's leading man, Ryan surprised fans by giggling into his sleeve after word landed that the musical had been awarded Best Picture in error.

Standing among stunned cast and crew on stage, Ryan attempted to hide a smirk behind his hand, but now, one month on, is at pains to explain his odd reaction.

"What really was happening as I was watching, it was surreal anyway, I was watching people start to have this panicked reaction in the crowd and guys were coming on with headsets and I felt like someone had been hurt," he said.

Speaking to People magazine, the 36-year-old insisted that his reaction was one of relief because the initial chaos led him to believe that someone had been taken ill.

"I thought there was some kind of medical situation, and I had this worst-case scenario playing out in my head," he said when reflecting on the confusion which played out in front of millions of viewers worldwide.

Recalling the moment it all became clear, he said: "And then I just heard Moonlight won and I was so relieved that I started laughing.”

And lest there be any confusion over his response to the loss, he added: "Truthfully, I was also so thrilled that Moonlight won. I know the director. I’ve worked with them before. I’m so happy for them that they were being recognised."

So, now we know.

Today, Demi Lovato became the latest celeb to suffer from a security breach.

The singer was targeted by hackers who stole a risqué photo of her and shared it on various porn sites around the web.

However, the 24-year-old has spoken out on Twitter, and she seems to be laughing off the whole scandal.

Taking to Twitter, Demi said: "I love how everyone's freaking out about one picture. It's not nude and it's just cleavage."

She followed that with another tweet: "Besides the world has seen me nude BY CHOICE before… #vanityfair #cleavagegameonpoint #myboobsarenteventhatbig #angles."

This isn't the first time the former Disney star has been targeted by hackers. In 2014, naked pictures of her were shared online, as well as ones with her former boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama.

According to more than 40 years of research, the contraceptive pill can protect women against certain types of cancer.

The study, which was carried out at the University of Aberdeen, reports that women are less likely to suffer from bowl cancer, endometrial cancer and ovarian cancer after using the pill, and it can protect you for up to 30 years after.

The research, which studied 46,000 women for 44 years, also debunked the myth that taking the pill can lead to breast cancer in later life – it does not.

The Oral Contraception Study first began in 1968, by the Royal College of General Practitioners to investigate the side effects of taking birth control.

Dr Lisa Iversen, the lead researcher said: "What we found from looking at up to 44 years' worth of data, was that having ever used the pill, women are less likely to get colorectal, endometrial and ovarian cancer.

"So, the protective benefits from using the pill during their reproductive years are lasting for at least 30 years after women have stopped using the pill.

"We did not find any evidence of new cancer risks appearing later in life as women get older.

"These results from the longest-running study in the world into oral contraceptive use are reassuring.

"Specifically, pill users don't have an overall increased risk of cancer over their lifetime and that the protective effects of some specific cancers last for at least 30 years," she added.

It looks like Daryl Dixon is officially off the market, ladies.

The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus is all loved up with actress Diane Kruger, and they took to the streets of New York to show off their, erm… affection.

According to E! News, Norman and Diane went out on date night during the week where they went to a bar and hung out there for four hours.

When they left they bar they were all smiles and according to eye witnesses, they "made out for half an hour" on the streets, before heading off to another pub.

"They looked like they had a great time!" the eye witness said.

Norman and Diane have been sparking romance rumours for several months now, after first being spotted in Barcelona together.

They first met on the set of Sky in 2015.

We are kinda, sorta, totally loving this new romance!

As the week goes by, it seems to get much more difficult to eat healthily and stick to your balanced life goals.

By Wednesday, your motivation is seriously challenged by the second birthday cake of the week in the office., right?

To help you avoid falling into the processed food trap, we have rounded up some healthy options available on Deliveroo, so you can get a tasty fix (almost) without lifting the little finger.

Cracked Nut

Their rustic decor and lovely food range is worth a trip to Camden Street alone, in fairness.

Cracked Nut’s tasty salads and feel-good wraps as a healthy takeaway for when you forgot to bring your lunch to work.

Póg

When all calories are indicated on the menu, it makes it easy to go for the lighter option.

Known for its delicious fro-yo, the eatery also offers a scrumptious Spicy Chicken salad (with spinach, spicy chicken, red onion, white cabbage, avocado, sundried tomatoes and asian dressing) for only 330kcal.

Add the salted caramel smoothie (made with dates, Himalayan sea salt, oats, banana, and almond milk) for an extra tasty 205kcal.

Chopped

With 20 locations around the city, Chopped is now pretty much everywhere when you need a wholesome and tasty meal.

But the Irish healthy food chain also delivers delicious salads, smoothies and wraps to the comfort of your own home. Our favourite, the Dubliner Caesar, comes at around 500kcal and as cheap as 5 euros.

The Lo-Cal Kitchen

This café based in the Phoenix Park Racecourse produces food that tastes great, but without the bad ingredients.

What is on the menu? Dishes low in calories and filled with nutrients, such as a Supergreen salad or the Nutty quinoa salad (328kcal), made with broccoli, almond, quinoa, peanut, carrot, pistachio, green peas, black eyed beans with a zingy Asian dressing.

Cocu

Cocu is famous among Dubliners who like to eat healthy on the go. With several locations in town, the fast (but good) food has become a favourite for a quick and tasty lunch.

While you can’t get their new poke bowl delivered, you can order a delicious Falafel with pickled carrot, cherry tomato, cucumber and hummus for less than a tenner.

Freshii

A healthy lunch destination inside the CHQ Building, Freshii is also a good delivery option to enjoy a delicious Buddha's satay bowl, with rice noodles, crispy lentils, carrots, broccoli, cabbage, green onions and peanut sauce among other wholesome dishes and treats.

If this isn't the best movie idea ever, we don't know what is.

Apparently a script has been written for an Avengers-style Disney princess movie, and it's floating around Hollywood as we speak.

According to Tracking Board, the currently titled Princesses has been sent out to all studios, with the hope that Disney will pick it up.

Beloved princesses such as Belle, Cinderella, Snow While, Ariel, Jasmine and Rapunzel will all take part in the action movie, with the hope that Elsa, Anna and Moana will be involved too.

And if you're wondering why the script is being sent to numerous studios, it's because most princesses actually belong to public domain, with only recent princess characters being trademarked by Disney.

Hello Giggles further claims that director Joachim Ronning, who is behind Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and Netflix show Marco Polo, is already attached to the film.

This. Will. Be. EPIC.
