We may have got a picture of Louis with his baby son Freddie Reign days after his birth, but he latest instalment of Louis x Freddie pictures is a almost too much to handle.

The adorable black and white snap was shared to Louis' Instagram just yesterday and features Louis cradling his three-week-old son.

Oh and Louis is topless, so that's a bonus.

Freddie was born to Briana Jungwirth and Louis in Los Angeles on Jan 29 with the One Direction star announcing the happy news on Twitter.

While Louis and Briana are not a couple (he is dating American actress Danielle Campbell last we heard), the singer is reportedly settling down in LA to be close to his son.

Of course, the internet was sent into a certain amount of meltdown after the adorable snap was shared.

Have you been wondering why you haven't had any more delectable pop tunes from Tik Tok singer Kesha?

Well it's because she simply can't release any more music for the time being.

The 28-year-old is currently embroiled in a complex court case as she battles to be released from her recording contract with music moguls Sony.

Through Sony, Kesha worked with producer Dr. Luke whom Kesha claims abused his professional relationship with the star by drugging and raping her shortly after her 18th birthday.

The popular singer was seen weeping yesterday as a judge ruled that her 6-album contract with Sony is to be upheld.

This means that Kesha cannot release any music outside of her dealings with Sony which have obviously turned incredibly sour.

The hit record producer, who has worked with the likes of Jessie J and Katy Perry in the past, never faced charges over the incident and Kesha fears that the record company will not promote her music properly if she does not work with their biggest hitmaker, which is of course Dr. Luke.

Celebs have been quick to rally around Kesha in what is set to become a lengthy battle with the record label and the hashtag #freekesha is gaining traction on social media.

Often clad in designer attire (not to mention totally OTT fur coats) there's little doubt that two-and-a-half year North West is already one serious fashionista.

Now it seems that the daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West is also experimenting with make-up.

And while most toddlers manage to raid a make-up bag at some point – Miss West has gone one better: creating the killer contour effect that her mum is famous for.

In a revealing snap shared by the Kardashian's famed cosmetics guru Mario Dedivanovic (who along with Kim is definitely responsible for popularising the contouring trend), the little girl shows off an array of light and dark foundation stripes.

"When North steals your makeup palette," Mario wrote to his more than 2million followers.

The image, which has now notched up some 55,000 likes, went down a storm with his fans too, with many of them commenting on her cuteness.

North turns three this summer and has now been joined by a baby brother, Saint, whom the Kardashian-West family welcomed in December.

Some sad news from the literary world today – author Harper Lee has sadly died aged 89.

While there has been no official word from the Lee family yet, US news site AL.com has cited multiple sources in the author's hometown of Monroeville, Alabama.

Just last July a sequel to Lee's beloved To Kill A Mockingbird was published, Go Set A Watchman, telling the story of an older Scout as she sees her father Atticus through an adult's eyes.

Millions of young readers have cut their teeth on To Kill A Mockingbird since its publication in 1960, and even here in Ireland it is still on the reading list for Junior Cert students.

Given Lee's Alabama upbringing as the youngest daughter of a lawyer, it's no surprise that To Kill A Mockingbird is considered by many to be a partly autobiographical novel. Born Nelle Harper Lee in 1926, the author was the youngest of four children.

Tributes for the late author are already flooding in on social media today:

Clear your schedule for this Saturday, because it's going to involved a LOT of Prosecco.

Bottomless brunch – a brunch menu which includes unlimited cocktails for a set price – has become something of an institution in New York and London, and it's slowly trickling through to Dublin too.

Now, The Exchequer Wine Bar in Ranelagh has launched Dublin's first Bottomless Prosecco Brunch, every Saturday from 12 – 4pm.

Along with the purchase of one brunch item from their menu, you'll pay €15 for bottomless Prosecco refills during your meal. The catch? Um, there isn't one, unless you count the Sunday hangover you're bound to have.

Given that a glass of Prosecco would normally set you back €6.90 a pop, it's definitely value for money if you plan on indulging.

And if you're among the first 20 to book for this weekend, you'll get your Prosecco refills for just €10.

The Exchequer isn't the first place in Dublin to offer a Bottomless Brunch – Beckett & Bull in Rathgar offers a similar set-up with their Bottomless Mimosa Brunch – but there's something about endless Prosecco refills that has us VERY excited indeed.

This morning, we reported that X Factor judge Nick Grimshaw has been given the boot by Simon Cowell – after just one series of the reality TV show too.

Now fresh information suggests that his replacement has already been lined up.

And it seems none other than 1D's Louis Tomlinson – who joined Simon Cowell at judge's houses last year – is ready to sign the dotted line that will bring him on board for 2016.

A source told The Sun that the new dad is really keen to get on board too.

"Louis Tomlinson is very likely to replace Grimmy," she insider revealed.

"He agreed in principle to the job while assisting Simon Cowell during the judges’ houses round last year."

There's a twist, mind: while Louis T is more or less a shoo-in, he still faces some niggling competition from none other than his namesake, Louis Walsh – whom Mr Cowell remains close to.

“Simon remains very fond of Louis Walsh and came very close to bringing him back during last year’s live shows," the source went on to say.

"He felt a certain something was missing on the show without him."

Recently, One Direction's Mr Tomlinson revealed that he's a big fan of the talent show and he "would love to be there week in, week out". He added: "I think I’d be a decent judge."

Louis Tomlinson or Louis Walsh – who would you like to see in the X Factor judge's chair this year?

Simplicity is where it's at these days when it comes to cocktail-making.

Forget smokers and infusions – the new era of cocktails is scaled-back with a nod to the traditional. Think crisp G&Ts, mildly spiced Old Fashioneds, and rum flavoured by freshly juiced fruit.

That's what inspired The Westbury's head mixologist Micheál O'Shea, no doubt, when he created the VAMOS, a cocktail which has made it into the final three of the BACARDÍ Legacy Cocktail Competition.

Micheál's recipe brilliantly mixes a host of gentle flavours like honey and nutmug with punchy fruits like lime, green apple and grapes – and of course there's a generous splash of rum in there too.

The best part? It's simple enough to make at home, so you could be whipping up a batch of these tomorrow night… or of course, you could just try the real thing at The Westbury's Marble Bar.

VAMOS Ingredients

  • 60ml BACARDÍ Carta Blanca
  • 20ml lime juice (half a lime)
  • 25ml cloudy apple juice
  • 20ml nutmeg honey syrup
  • 5 to 7 green grapes (halved)

Method

To make the syrup

1. Mix 2 parts honey with 1 part hot water.

2. Add 1 tsp of nutmeg (powdered or grated) per 200ml of syrup.

3. After a few minutes of infusing, fine strain the syrup to remove the nutmeg. This will keep well in the fridge – just bring up to room temperature before using.

To make VAMOS

1. Chill a coupe glass with ice (the rounder champagne glass) & leave aside

2.  Press the halved green grapes in a shaking glass with a cocktail muddler

3. Add in the nutmeg honey syrup and cloudy apple juice

4. Squeeze in half a juicy lime

5. Pour in BACARDÍ Carta Blanca

6. Top off with ice cubes to fill the glass

7. Shake all the ingredients together for 10-20 seconds

8. Remove the ice from your coupe glass & double strain into the glass

9. Garnish with a lime twist on the edge of the glass

Micheál’s Top Tips

Strain your mix first
"Cocktails containing muddled/pressed fruit that need to remain clean and crisp, require double straining," says Micheál.

"To do this, simply pour your drink from the cocktail strainer through a fine mesh strainer into your glass to prevent fruit debris from entering the glass."

Don't forget the hot water!
"If you put honey into the cocktail on its own, it will stick to the ice in the drink," warns Micheál.

"Honey syrup is basically honey and hot water. Making a syrup means that you have the infused honey and nutmeg flavours, but it blends a lot better."

If you’re a fan of all things cuddly, cute and generally squeal-inducing, you better make a big space in your diary for March 11, 12 and 13.

Activities lined up so far include a doggy disco, professional pet grooming and dog training services, plus advice from expert vets including Ireland AM star Pete Wedderburn.

The ISPCA will also be there to help some dogs in need to find their new forever home through their Rehoming Programme.

Now, to tide you over until March 11, here’s the most adorable puppy/kitten GIF we’ve ever seen:

Their relationship continues to go from strength-to-strength – and it seems that 2016's most unlikely couple aren't afraid to express their feelings publicly.

Yes, Blac Chyna was happy to put on a major PDA with her boyf Rob Kardashian in Beverly Hills yesterday – with the model wrapping herself around her reality TV star beau.

At one stage, she also leaned in for a totally OTT kiss, treating onlookers to a fairly decent glimpse of her tongue.

Talk about lobbing the gob!

But while the 27-year-old Washington DC native appeared comfortable in the limelight, 28-year-old Rob was decidedly more shy.

The couple was seen leaving the Epione Cosmetic Laser Center in the upmarket area of Los Angeles when Blac puckered up for the waiting photographers.

They duo were furthermore happy to share further pictures via their Snapchat accounts.

PS… Chyna is also clearly enjoying her recently elevated celebrity status: she sported a €3,500 black leather studded backpack from Fendi during the outing.

Meanwhile, Rob, who is currently working hard to lose weight, kept things casual in a dark tracksuit and runners.

Rewind twenty years or so, and you’d be hard-pressed to find many kick-ass, physical and powerful lead roles for females. Now though, the world of cinema is bursting with strong, fierce ladies who like nothing more than to whip some serious butt.

Case in point is Triple 9, which opens this weekend, starring Kate Winslet as a ruthless Russian crime boss who turns to blackmail to pull off a virtually impossible heist.

In anticipation of Kate’s most ball-busting role yet, we’re taking a look at the most badass female characters from the world of cinema. Here are the ladies giving us total life goals…

The Bride in Kill Bill
Played by Uma Thurman, The Bride in Tarantino’s Kill Bill is a no-brainer when it comes to strong female leads. After waking from a four year-coma, she sets out on a bloody revenge mission to get vengeance on the team of assassins who betrayed her. The Bride kicks some serious ass as she works her way through the group of vigilantes, who all call her bitter ex husband boss.

Imperator Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road
Charlize Theron played the role of independent, head strong Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road last year. As she rebels against a tyrannical ruler in a post-apocalyptic world, Furiosa is a force to be reckoned with, leading a motley crew in search of safety and out of the grasp of Immortan Joe.

Lisbeth Salander in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Portrayed by Rooney Mara in the 2011 production, Lisbeth is a straight up badass. A computer hacker, Lisbeth aids disgraced journalist as he investigates a 40 year old missing persons case. An unpredictable, defiant and slightly sinister character, Lisbeth deserves her spot in our top five.

Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games Series
The role that brought Jennifer Lawrence to the fore, Katniss Everdeen is one strong lady. Forced to fight to the death in the sick Hunger Games, Katniss must kill or be killed. To survive she must become a fierce, force to be reckoned with.

Hit Girl in Kick-Ass
The youngest badass to make our list, Hit Girl, is an 11 year old slasher vigilante with a foul mouth. Played by Chloe Moretz, Hit Girl has had extensive training to become a killing machine, with a insane knowledge of all things weaponry. Trained to fight bad guys alongside her father, Big Daddy, Hit Girl is an intensely violet and undeniably effective killing machine.

For more kick-ass action, don’t miss Triple 9, in cinemas from February 19.

Tyga must be raking in the cash: he was happy to drop a five-figure sum on his girlfriend Kylie's Valentine's Day gift.

And rather than buy her jewellery, or showering her with flowers and chocolates, the rapper opted for a rather more unconventional expression of his love.

Yes, the 26-year-old splashed out a cool €13,500 on a GRILL for Ms Jenner, 18.

How romantic.

TMZ reports that the stunning 18ct diamond and gold piece was bought at Johnny Dang & Co – an outlet favoured by celebrity types including Katy Perry and Snoop Dogg.

Tyga is certainly a generous boyfriend: he famously gifted his reality TV star love with a €300,000 Ferrari for her 18th birthday last August.

Khloé Kardashian, Christian Bale and Taylor Swift – they're just some of the people Amy Schumer has been poking fun at of late, but one jibe in particular didn't go down too well.

The comedienne and actress has forged her career on taking the idea of female beauty and femininity and turning it on its head, and she attempted to do just that with a recent Instagram post directed at Taylor. Now though, she's been forced to apologise for it.

Amy's brand of humour didn't go down too well with the legions of Swift fans who accused her of "skinny shaming" the singer with a photo captioned, "Taylor that's not a thigh gap. This is a thigh gap," posted on Monday night.

The photo, which shows Amy and fellow comedy star Bridget Everett in their bikinis, seems to have been a dig at Taylor's Grammy ensemble, a two-piece dress with a thigh-high slit.

Taking to Instagram again today, Amy made an attempt at an apology, though she certainly didn't seem too happy to be doing it.

"That's not a beard this is a beard," she wrote alongside a snap of herself with a blonde wig and a face full of fake stubble.

"So sorry to anyone with a beard this may offend. I am a comic and should never make fun of myself at the expense of anyone else that I wasn't making fun of in the first place #relax #beard."

She referenced the drama again later on, posting a meme showing the famous Simpsons "That's not a knife, this is a knife," quote with the caption, "So sorry to anyone with a different size knife too."

As for Taylor, she's been dealing with drama from several different sources this week – in her Grammys Album Of The Year acceptance speech she made a thinly veiled dig at Kanye West for his claim that he "made that b*tch [Taylor] famous."

Speaking to the audience on Monday night, Taylor said, "There are going to be people along the way who are going to try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame… you'll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there."
