pawsitivity in the city

Eh, this may be the best news to ever come across our screens – a DOG festival is coming to Dublin and Cork next month… and we just can't.

Pawsitivity in the City is back to Dublin and Cork for a second year, and even if you don't have a dog, you need to head along.

The festival aims to improve the well-being of all pets and their owners, by hopefully helping everyone achieve some 'Pawsitive Living'.

Over the two days, there'll be:

  • A pet photographer
  • A doggy dance class
  • Agility activities
  • Sniffer lessons
  • Dog grooming
  • Test your dog's IQ class
  • Teach your dog to read class
  • Advice from experts such as Pete Wedderburn and Suzi Walsh
  • Coffee
  • Food stalls
  • And of course, a screening of Lady and the Tramp on Saturday.

Yes, you read that right. There will be a screening of Lady and the Tramp, which has us giddy with excitement.

But the best thing about this absurdly cute festival – it's totally free. If you want to find out more details, check out here.

The weekend is nearly here, but just to make your day that little bit better (thank us later), we have some exciting PUPPY-RELATED news.

If you’re a fan of all things cuddly, cute and generally squeal-inducing, you better make a big space in your diary for March 11, 12 and 13.

Dublin is set to become a cat and dog playground for that weekend only, as Whiskas and Pedigree team up for Pawsitivity In The City, a three-day event promoting #PawsitiveLiving for pets and their owners.

Whether you’re a pet owner, looking to give a pet in need a new home, or simply just want to give and receive some oh-so fluffy puppy love, then head along to Merrion Square to check out the action.

Activities lined up so far include a doggy disco, professional pet grooming and dog training services, plus advice from expert vets including Ireland AM star Pete Wedderburn.

The ISPCA will also be there to help some dogs in need to find their new forever home through their Rehoming Programme.

Now, to tide you over until March 11, here’s the most adorable puppy/kitten GIF we’ve ever seen:
