Considering the success of Channing Tatum, it is easy to forget that the hunky actor is also a trained dancer.

He did, after all, meet his super-talented wife Jenna Dewan on the set of Step Up.

So perhaps it was only a matter of time before this duo got their own dancing television series.

Yep, the gorgeous couple are set to produce and star in a dance competition show that has been picked up by NBC.

While we would have been totally on-board with a Tatum-Dewan reality series, we reckon this style of show will work even better for the talented pair.

Jenna is set to be the executive producer of the series as well as appearing as a judge. Meanwhile, Channing is currently set to produce but insiders have said that the actor will also appear on the show at least once.

And those odds are good enough for us.

And if the couple's appearance on Lip Sync Battle is anything to go by, we reckon this show is going to be phenomenal.

The couple married in 2009 and have one 2-year-old daughter together named Everly.

If you have ever been lucky enough to be embroiled in a late night pub lock-in in Ireland, then you will know that they are amazing craic and should be regarded as cultural phenomenons.

They are also one of those Irish things that you forget not everyone in the world actually knows what they are.

So when Jimmy Fallon essentially described being involved in a lock-in in Kinsale to Saoirse Ronan, she totally knew what he was on about.

However, when she explained the concept out loud, it did actually sound a bit mad.

"The whole idea of a lock-in was that the guards- our policemen- wouldn't know about it," the 21-year-old very aptly explained.

"But they're usually in the lock-ins as well. They're usually in there with you.

"I've grown up with that really."

Our favourite Southern belle Reese Witherspoon turned the ripe old age of 40 yesterday, which you’ll have been made well aware of if you follow the actress on social media.

The Oscar winner rallied an impressive list of famous buddies to celebrate her landmark birthday, with Matthew McConaughey, Taylor Swift Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Kidman and Kate Hudson all showing up to wish the birthday girl well – and, in Taylor’s case, even give an impromptu live singing performance.

Dressed in a purple sequin mini dress for the occasion, Reese didn’t look anywhere near her 40 years, but of course she’s not the only famous name to be defying the laws of gravity.

Here are just a few of the stars who are totally working that ‘40-going-on-21’ look…

Gabrielle Union, 43

From pom-poms to news reports, Gabrielle Union looks the same now on BETs Being Mary Jane as she did on the 1999 CLASSIC Bring It On.

Gwen Stefani, 46

Having moved on from her divorce last year to new man Blake Shelton, Gwen sure is showing her ex what he’s missing.

Sandra Bullock, 51

Standing strong as one of Hollywood’s highest-paid actresses, Sandra has been playing characters in their thirties for the last ten years.

Ellen Degeneres, 58

WHAT!? Just, WHAT!?

Meryl Streep, 66

Having famously been told she was too ugly for King Kong, Meryl sure showed them.

Goldie Hawn, 70

A woman that proves, if a hairstyle ain’t broke…

Jane Fonda, 78

Miss Anti-Ageing herself shows us all who’s boss.

Though Taylor Swift and her buddies may be our definition of #squadgoals, not everyone feels the same away about being a member of the exclusive group.

And one person who has no desire to join in on the girl-fun is outspoken actress, Chloe Grace Moretz.

In an interview with Complex magazine, the 19-year-old revealed that she had recently turned down an invitation to join forces with Tay and her minions.

"They appropriate exclusivity. They're cliques!" said the star.

Being friends with Selena Gomez, the actress had been introduced to the Bad Blood singer and even invited to hang-out with the squad but she politely declined.

The star refused to say anything else about Taylor and her expertly crafted squad. simply ending the topic with: "She's a very talented person."

Ooh, do we detect a bit of shade?

The young Kick Ass actress is getting a name for herself by being unafraid to speak her mind, even if it lands her in hot water.

Most recently, Chloe called out Kim Kardashian for publishing her now infamous naked selfie, encouraging her to not teach girls that their only value lies in their bodies.

However, Kim retaliated and a lot of celebrities got in on the action too. Despite receiving quite a bit of backlash, we have a lot of respect for Chloe who is obviously going to continue to speak her mind regardless.

Is it just us or do you feel like a five-year-old when it comes to wearing white jeans?

Between spilling your morning coffee on them, the soup you had for lunch and the red wine you had with dinner, white jeans can just become a big mess by the end of the day.

But, fear not because we have come across a brand that are selling STAIN RESISTANT white jeans. HURRAH!

Old Navy is an American brand and with their new Rockstar Super Skinny Jeans you can wipe just about anything off them.

At first we feared they didn't ship to Ireland, but happily for us they do. They are also sold in Gap store across the world.

Now, we can keep calm and carry on acting like five-year-olds everyday.

If you have skin that’s any way fair, you’ve probably grown up with a whole set of “rules” to live by.

No pastels, no white clothes and most DEFINITELY no darker hair colours. They’ll just wash you out… at least that’s what your mam’s always drilled into you, right?

Well, you can throw those beliefs out the window because lately we’ve been getting serious hair lust for celebs rocking darker, deeper shades – everything from intense black like Suzanne Jackson to coffee brown like MIC‘s Lucy Watson.

Of course, the spectrum of darker colours ranges far and wide, and it’s all about choosing a shade that suits your skintone and your own personal style. Here are some of the celebs giving us serious dark hair #goals of late.

Suzanne Jackson

Blogger and beauty guru Suzanne, the woman at the helm of SoSueMe and SOSU cosmetics, has always gone for darker tones – but with a hint of warm brunette to ensure her paler skin is complemented.

That length and volume comes courtesy of Gold Fever hair extensions (the brainchild of fellow Irish woman Katie-Jane Goldin), of which Suzanne’s been a long-time fan. With a blend of different colours used to create the perfect shade, there’s no fear of looking washed out.

Shauna Lindsay

Another Gold Fever fan, model Shauna Lindsay is the perfect example of how to work darker tones without risking looking like Wednesday Addams the second you take your make-up off.

Her darker roots are complemented perfectly by lighter blonde-brown ends, courtesy of 20′ Gold Fever extensions, which gave some much-needed volume and an all over healthy look.

“My hair was so damaged, generally from doing fashion shows and having heat on it all the time,” Shauna says.

“I love being a model don’t get me wrong but your hair goes through a lot! My hair was NOWHERE NEAR as thick as it used to be and I longed for an extra bit of length. The extensions I got put in are 20′ and they are SO FULL,” she explains.

Lucy Watson

Granted, Made In Chelsea alum Lucy usually sets off her deep brown wavy tresses with a tan, but that doesn’t mean we can’t follow her for some hair inspiration.

Lucy keeps her hair relatively short, using extensions to add volume rather than heaps of length. The warm brown hue is perfect with her paler skin – though we reckon it would be a winner with any skin tone.

Considering changing up your style á la Lucy, Suzanne and Shauna? Check out Gold Fever‘s Instagram page for some hair #inspo. Thank us later!

The joy of Countdown's letters board is that things are left totally up to chance – and every once in a while, we're treated to an epic combo of vowels and consonants.

Like earlier this week, when the show's co-presenter Rachel Riley saw a pretty unfortunate word arise in front of her on the board. After pulling out a 'C', an 'L' and an 'I', Rachel managed to hide her smile as she pulled out the fourth letter, which was – you've guessed it – a 'T':

Oops.

And the silliness didn't stop there, because a few letters later, Rachel was left with this:

The English presenter took to social media after the show, though she seemed surprised with all the attention the unfortunate letter combination had garnered:

If there's still a Making A Murderer-sized hole in your life, then our fave lawyer ever, Dean Strang is here to fill it.

The hot shot is coming to Cork city for A Conversation with Dean Strang… But, you're going to have to wait a while for it.

The evening of conversation is taking place in Cork Opera House on September 22 and tickets are going on sale next Thursday March 31 at the Opera House box office.

The evening will see Dean talk about the Netflix documentary, the failures of the justice system and he will also spill a few details about the Steven Avery case.

With Steven's case becoming bigger than ever, we can't wait to see the man in person and ask him a few juicy questions.

We JUST got over the Luas debacle, and now Dublin Bus drivers are seeking a pay rise, too.

A hearing took place in the Labour Court this morning, with the National Bus and Rail Union (NBRU) looking for salaries consistent with the Luas drivers' pay rise.

Last week, Luas drivers were offered increases of 18 percent over 33 months as part of a deal aimed at ending the ongoing strikes of late.

The NBRU is expected to ask for a six percent increase as well as any rise received by Luas workers, reports The Irish Times.

Honestly, we don't think we could handle another Luas strike, let alone a bus strike. Here we go again….

Kris Jenner has finally opened up about her son's relationship with Blac Chyna.

She's not one to keep her mouth shut but in a recent interview she revealed that Rob is happy with his new lady.

"He feels so much better about himself [since they started dating].

"He is doing really, really well. He is trying to be healthy and get in shape and he is also working on a couple of projects," she told Australia's The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

But even though she's delighted that her son is happy, the momager admitted that she doesn't really know too much about the former exotic dancer.

"I don't know too much about their relationship. I haven't really seen her that much and I don't know her as well as everyone else. She seems like a really nice girl but I just haven't been around her."

Rob has practically spent the past two years as a hermit, so it's safe to say we're all happy to see him out and about again.

There are a fair few iced treats that Irish people hold dear to their hearts – Choc Ices, Orange Splits and Brunches to name just a few.

But one Cork man’s dessert was left lacking earlier this week, and he wasn’t going to keep quiet about it.

Darryl O’Connell, from Goleen, County Cork, took to HB’s Facebook page on Monday to voice his concerns at “the severe reduction on the sprinkles applied” to his “personal favourite”, the trusty Brunch ice cream – and their reply was pretty amazing.

After “after a long day working on the farm pulling beet” he opened one of HB’s “delicious ice creams” to find it looking a little sadder than usual.

You can see how strongly Darryl felt from his post here:

Dear HB ice creams,I am a loyal customer of your delicious ice creams, My personal favourite being the brunch. In…

Posted by Darryl Connell on Monday, March 21, 2016

Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to  be an isolated incident.

However, Miley seems pretty satisfied with her exceedingly sprinkled Brunch.

Thankfully, HB have since replied to Daryl’s post and promise they’re going to investigate. Phew!

This isn’t the first time that our favourite childhood treats have let us down. In recent years, Irish chocolate-lovers seem to be coming across more and more cases of “shrinkflation”.

Take the drastic reduction in Quality Street size, for example:

If you're a Louis Walsh fan (and even if you're not), you won't be able to help laughing at the new ad for The Drive.

The Drive is a new game show airing on ITV which sees a bundle of celebrities driving a race car Top Gear-style.

Hosted by Vernon Kay, stars including Professor Green and Johnny Vegas will test their limits on a mud track.

But the funniest thing about the new ad has to be Louis. He clearly hasn't a notion how to actually drive the race car and at the end all you can hear is, "Is Louis going in reverse?!" Brilliant.
