Call us naive, but sometimes you're just better off not knowing whether or not your other half is lying to you.

Sure, when it comes to the big stuff, we need ALL the deets, but if he tells you his phone is dying because he'd rather be playing Call of Duty than texting you about Shellac, then frankly, we're OK with that.

However, it looks like not everybody is down with hearing a little white lie from time to time, so experts have set about creating an app which tells you exactly how much battery life the person you're texting actually has.

According to a report in The Mirror, the new app, Battery Share, will allow people in on their friend or partner's battery deets as long as they agree to share their information with each other.

"I really needed to get a hold of someone, and couldn’t. I figured that I must not be the only one this has happened to," explained Terry Demco, creator of Battery Share. "So from that, came this app."

We can see this signalling the end of some relationships…

As anyone who watches Gogglebox will know, Scarlett Moffatt is an absolute whirlwind of charm and hilarity – something which has been clearly lost on professional troll, Katie Hopkins.

Proving yet again that is one of the most snide stars on Twitter, Katie yesterday tweeted a photo of the 24-year-old star on a night out and followed it with a cruel jibe about Scarlett's weight.

"Little Miss Moffatt sat on her tuffet, eating her curds and way more than she should," Katie tweeted yesterday afternoon in a move which reminded everyone just how unlikeable she truly is.

Thankfully, Scarlett was more than capable of fighting her corner and uploaded a shot of her hugely popular book, Scarlett Says, which shows she had anticipated an attack from Katie.

"I wonder what she'll say," Scarlett wrote in her bestseller. "Probably something about my appearance cos she likes doing that, or maybe she'll imply I'm thick. I'll get in first."

Uploading a shot of the short passage which discussed Katie's notorious trolling, Scarlett tweeted: "Always one step ahead of you, Hopkins."

Tweeting their support for the young TV star, fans wrote: "You're bright, beautiful, popular, young, and funny. Everything she isn't."

"You're a young beautiful funny girl, while Katie Hopkins is a ugly hag inside and out…ignore her Scarlett," added another.

We all know that Ellen DeGeneres is famous for getting her guests to open up (Hell, we'd tell Ellen ANYTHING), but it looks like Mila Kunis may regret her recent trip to the famous set if this latest cringey clip is anything to go by.

Promoting new flick, Bad Moms, with co-star Kristin Bell, Mila opened a can of worms which left her pulling a fairly big reddener in front of Ellen, Kristin and the entire studio audience.

Upon being asked if she and Ashton were trying for a new baby, Mila looked a little stunned before deadpanning: "Like, am I having sex?"

Taking their cue from Mila, Ellen and Kristin quickly got the ball rolling, asking Mila about Ashton's performance in the sack, how often they do the dirty and whether the man himself was as 'attentive' between the sheets as one might hope.

You'd think Mila would have been able to give as good as she got, but she looked like us during a sexual education workshop in sixth class.

Amy Huberman and her hubby Brian O'Driscoll are known for being an hilarious couple, but we're just loving Amy's most recent post.

Taking to Instagram last night, Amy shared a photo of a sign saying, "Please do not place items on ledge."

She followed that photo with a collage of three others; one of a pot of PlaDoh sitting on a window ledge and then a baby's spoon.

Just this week it was reported that Jay Z was in the middle of recording a response album to Beyonce's Lemonade, but now, Billboard has discovered that Jay and Bey nearly released a full-length album together.

According to Billboard, the album came about while the couple were touring for On The Run in 2014.

An insider says they "nearly finished" the probably-amazing album when their label allegedly stopped the project from moving forward.

However, a rep from Sony Records told the website that that simply wasn't the case, and the label is very "open to" it.

Hmmm, we're not sure who is telling the fibs here but before you hold a wake for the album that never was, there still might be hope of it being released.

The source said that the album will probably be released in the near future, after the hype from Lemonade cools down. Yes!

If this album does see the light of day soon, we'll be very happy campers.

Justin Timberlake has been one seriously busy man over the last three years, so the fact he hadn't released any music was totes understandable, but that didn't mean we were HAPPY about it.

After almost a decade of being regularly treated to his latest releases, fans of the Trousersnake were left pining when he took time off recording to focus on other things.

But ladies, the wait is now over and after three long years, JT is back, and he is BANGING.

Can't Stop The Feeling is one of those classic feel-good summer tracks which JT does so well, and we are so pumped about his return.

We love Justin Bieber, and 2015 was definitely the year we all became Beliebers, but my God, he acts like such a grumpy child sometimes.

In a new video uploaded to theshaderoominc, Justin is seen looking out the window of his car to a flurry of excited fans – however, he looks less than impressed.

And while all of the girls are going wild, someone throws a present into his (wide open) car window.

Clearly not bothered with the lovely gesture, he flips the present out the window and tells his driver to move on while pulling his window up all the way.

The idea that a state-of-the art research ship was going to boast the name Boaty McBoatface put a smile on EVERYONE'S face in recent weeks, but it looks like all our dreams have been officially dashed, kids.

According to countless reports, the £200 million boat has instead been given the much more dignified name of RRS Sir David Attenborough, and we're all just going to have to suck it up.

Commenting on the public' vote, Universities and Science Minister Jo Johnson said: "The public provided some truly inspirational and creative names, and while it was a difficult decision I’m delighted that our state-of-the-art polar research ship will be named after one of the nation’s most cherished broadcasters and natural scientists."

"This vessel will carry the Attenborough name for decades to come, as it fulfils its mission to explore the oceans and put Britain at the forefront of efforts to preserve our precious marine environment," she added.

All is not totally lost, however, as Minister Johnson confirmed that Boaty McBoatface will instead be given to the ship's sub-sea vehicle!

Sir David and Boaty! We can totes get on board with that adorable duo.

Ah, the lives of the rich and famous, huh?

Ardal O'Hanlon was possibly our favourite star in Father Ted (apart from Ted, of course) and with his good humoured nature, it's a wonder why anyone would ever hate on him.

But the star has opened up about the time he used to get death threats while starring on the comical TV show.

“I remember it was along the lines of, ‘you’ve gone over to England and you’ve taken the Queen’s shilling. You’re a disgrace to the country and if I ever see you, I’ll kill you’,” he told The Sun. 

“I showed the postmark to someone and they said, 'I think that’s from a little place in the West of Ireland’.”

However, one of Ardal’s friends took a holiday in the remote village and said it could only have been one person that sent the threat.

“The only person it could be is this old ranter and raver in the pub who gives out about people on the telly,” Ardal said.

“So, being a stalker in Ireland is a rubbish occupation.”

Ah, Ardal, you never fail to make us laugh.

After struggling to deal with the speculation that has recently surrounded his personal life, actor Colton Haynes has decided to put the rumours to bed and confirm that he is indeed gay,

In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly, the Arrow star admitted that he didn't know how to deal with the whispers circulating online, saying: "I should have made a comment or a statement, but I just wasn’t ready. I didn’t feel like I owed anyone anything."

"I think in due time, everyone has to make those decisions when they’re ready, and I wasn’t yet," he added. "But I felt like I was letting people down by not coming forward with the rest of what I should have said."

The actor, who is well know for his role in hit show Teen Wolf, admits that he found keeping his sexuality a secret exhausting, saying: "People want you to be that GQ image that you put out, but people don’t realize what it’s like to act 24 hours a day. I’d go home and I was still acting."

"People who are so judgmental about those who are gay or different don’t realize that acting 24 hours a day is the most exhausting thing in the world," the 27-year-old explained in the revealing interview.

Thankfully, the star is thrilled by his decision to come out, telling fans: "It took me so long to get to this point, but I’m doing so good. I’m happier than I’ve ever been, and healthier than I’ve ever been, and that’s what I care about."

Victoria Beckham has revealed that her Spice Girl days weren't all roses and sunshine.

The singer-turned-designer has admitted that producers used to turn her microphone off while she was performing with the band.

"They used to turn it off and just let the others sing. I got the last laugh – and now my mic is well and truly on, finally," Victoria said at the Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibition in London on Thursday night, according to The Sun.

Vicky B also admitted that they used to spend the band's WHOLE wardrobe budget on her little black dresses.

"I was always the one that loved fashion and it was quite a result for me because the girls always used to get their clothes for free because they were crap and so there was a lot of budget for me to have my little Gucci dress," she said.

I guess we'll never truly know what goes on behind the scenes of a girlband!
