A 148-year-old Italian winery has suddenly become the hottest thing in New York at the moment.

But this Italian winery isn't just your ordinary winery.. oh no, it's so much more.

Having once supplied the Vatican with it's house vino, Contratto winery is breaking into the Big Apple.

Under new management, Contratto, is hitting the trendiest restaurant and bars that the city has to offer.

It's crimson-coloured Aperitif and Bitter liquors are low alcohol, bitter spirits, that are meant to be consumed before dinner.

Just think of them as a hipper version of the popular Italian herbal aperitifs like Campari and Aperol.

“Campari is one-note and dry, [a flavour] that everyone has grown accustomed to,” says Adam Schuman, spirits portfolio manager at Michael Skurnik Wines, which began distributing the Contratto bottles earlier this year.

“Contratto is a little softer and more delicate… and wildly complex.”

They're also natural, getting their vibrant tones from carrots and beetroot, not artificial colouring, like Campari does.

Contratto Aperitif has just 13.5 percent alcohol, a soft bitterness and subtle herby flavour. Mixed with sparkling wine or club soda, it’s a refreshing way to start a night.

The deep-magenta Bitter is 22 percent alcohol with a stronger, more medicinal taste, but it’s still an early evening sipper.

Game of Thrones fans, are you ready for the best news ever?!

George RR Martin, author of the original Game of Thrones books, has reportedly revealed that a film is in the works.

“There will be a movie but I will not be involved”, the author told The Daily Star at the Emmys after party.

“I have too much to do. That is something HBO, DB [Weiss] and David [Benioff] are dealing with.”

But even after that dismissive statement, George made it clear that he puts his fans first.

“I have two more books to finish and I still have so much to do. The pressure is on. I am such a slow writer and the fans get upset that I don’t write faster.”

The film is likely to be released one the TV series is over, but this isn't the first time HBO has turned series into box-office hits. Both Sex and the City and Entourage made it to the big screen after their TV shows ended – and were both a major success.

After a stressful day there's nothing better than coming home to a nice, hot shower.

But how hot is too hot?

The ideal shower temperarure for your skin doesn't move much above lukewarm, apparently.

As soon as your shower starts scalding, it's bad business as you're at risk of harming your skin's health.

Women's Health spoke to Sejal Shah, M.D., a dermatologist from New York City, and she advises that even though there is no rule for how hot a should should be, you should keep the water below 43*C.

“Hot water strips the skin of its natural oils leading to dry, itchy skin and eventually eczema."

“Similarly, hot water can strip the hair of its natural oils, causing it to be drier, and if you colour your hair, it can cause the colour to fade faster.”

And besides the obvious topical effects of heat, very hot water can also cause issues beneath the skin. Since it increases circulation, it can cause any inflammatory cells to further aggravate any dry or itchy skin you might be already battling.

We'll stick to lukewarm then?

As you all know, a playlist for working out should be filled with as many hype-up tunes as possible.

But for some (many), they just play their normal tunes on repeat.

Ed Sheeran belting out a love song is beautiful, yes, but it won't get you gym ready.

So, here's a list of the best tunes to workout to – you'll thank us later!

1. Sia, Chandelier

Looking good can sometimes be a major challange, especially when you're in a rush and can't be bothered to put together a creative outfit.

The lives of bloggers, seem to be constantly busy, so we want to know – how exactly do they look so good, all the time?!

Who What Wear spoke to six bloggers who dished their go-to style secrets. Now we can look just as good too!

Courtney Trop of Always Judging

Her go-to outfit: A fitted black t-shirt, black skinny jeans, basic black boots, and Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses.

“All black, always. As a blonde, it makes me want black because it makes my hair stand out. I usually throw some sort of trench or blazer over this sort of look in the fall. This is my go-to because it’s simple and easy, and something about all black always looks chic. It’s really about finding the perfect pair of jeans and tee to make the outfit.”

Christine Reehorst of Fash n Chips

Her go-to outfit: A big blazer or coat and a pair of classic, cropped black trousers.

“I like to go for this combination because I can wear whatever I like underneath as you won't be able to see much of it anyway, and the shoes don't seem to matter so much either. A big coat will instantly make any look more put together.”

Sarah Mikaela of Framboise Fashion

Her go-to outfit: A knit or blouse and boyfriend jeans.

“It’s super comfy and so versatile in terms of styling it further, like I did in this outfit with a silk shirt around my waist and pointed boots.”

Irina Lakicevic of A Portable Package

Her go-to outfit: A brilliantly cut white shirt, high-waisted fitted jeans, and pointy loafers.

“I am very concerned with always looking professional, but in the same manner not too polished. It has to feel personal rather than like a uniform.”

Andy Torres of Style Scrapbook

Her go-to outfit: Black jeans and a blazer.

“To be honest, I would wear black jeans and a blazer every day. I obviously have to spice it up but I think wearing black skinny jeans, a t-shirt/blouse, a pair of heels, and a blazer is such a classic statement look."

Zina Charkoplia of FashionVibe

Her go-to outfit: A cashmere sweater, an asymmetric skirt, pointed-toe heels, and my Fendi purse.

“Feminine and fabulous! I feel like a real woman in this outfit. Not too sexy, not too conservative—just perfect!”

We absolutely won't give Kylie Jenner a hard-time for her occasional fashion mishaps: after all, she's still only 18 and is frankly A LOT better turned out than we'll ever be.

Still, if she'd come to us beforehand and asked our opinion (because we're good like that) on a faux suede, high-necked, long-sleeved dress in a burnt orange hue (teamed with a mustard suede bag no less), we probably would have said: "Kyles, that's a look best left well alone."

And how wrong we would have been… because Ms Jenner yesterday proved that she can ROCK the most challenging of pieces.

The teenage star, who was out and about in LA with her 25-year-old rapper boyfriend Tyga, looked oh-so amazing in the number – which incredibly costs just €84 from mistressrocks.com

Understandably, it is currently sold out – but more stock is expected in October and you can still pre-order the item (yes, they deliver to Ireland too).

Completing her look with blue contact lenses, Kylie wore her dark hair – which currently seems to be free of extensions – pulled back off her face in pigtail braids.

However, note to self: despite the dress itself being something we could actually afford, we'd be saving a long, long time for her shoes and bag – which come from Alexandre Birman and Balenciaga respectively.

Come through hrush!!!! @styledbyhrush

Last summer, glam Queen Blake Lively launched her own website called Preserve

The space was intended to "connect users with makers (of things, of experiences, of stories)." She even got a splashy cover on Vogue for the debut and everything!

But now, a year later, Blake has announced that she is closing the site.

“We have an incredible team of people who do beautiful work, but we launched the site before it was ready, and it never caught up to its original mission: It’s not making a difference in people’s lives, whether superficially or in a meaningful way, " Blake told Vogue.

But not to worry that much as Blake is going to do a thorough re-launch of the site – in her own time.

“I never thought I would have the bravery to actually do that, to take the site dark and to say, ‘You know what? I haven’t created something that is as true and impactful as I know it can and will be."

"And I’m not going to continue to chase my tail and continue to put a product out there that we, as a team, are not proud of."

And even though Ms Lively is anticipating public backlash – "Failure! Folly! We knew she couldn't do this!" – the actress feels she will be ready to face it.

“I know what it’ll look like, what I’m facing publicly, that people are just going to have a heyday with this. But it’s so much worse to continue to put something out there—to ask my team to put something out there—that isn’t the best we can do."

"I’m going to take this hit, and the only way I can prove all the negative reactions wrong is to come back with a plan that will rock people. And I have that plan."

Ooh, Blake, we're excited now!

Now, we've come across a fair few weird make up trends over the past few years, but this one takes the crown.

The new trend comes straight from Milan Fashion Week is probably one of the most strange we've seen – especially on the catwalk.

Models donned many a runway wearing bold lipstick on their lips… AND eyes.

Missoni and Anthony Vaccarella models graced the catwalk with bold reds, blues and yellows covered across their eyelids and brows.

Now we know Fashion Week is meant to determine what trends we will all be wearing next season – but we just can't dig this.

Can you imagine walking into Coppers donning this trend?! Yep, didn't think so.

She's just about the most fashionable person on the planet, rarely looking anything but entirely picture-perfect.

In fact, since officially becoming a member of Britain's most famous family in April 2011, Kate Middleton's look has evolved from rather safe and nondescript to full-on chic.

Yes, there's no denying that Mrs William Wales now boasts an elegance entirely worthy of her royal style icon status.

Not that it was always so: in fact, before Wills put a ring on it, the Duchess Kate had plenty of items in her wardrobe that she would now turn her perfect princess nose up at.

However, on reflection, we reckon throwback Kate Middleton is very much for the win.

From trips to Dublin in old jeans to donning yellow hot-pants and roller-skates, the 33-year-old certainly had a sense of carefree fun back then.

Here, SHEmazing! takes a stroll down memory lane with the Duchess Of Cambridge's top 12 pre Royal Wedding looks.

1) The dress that changed history: She was modelling in a charity fashion show during their University Of St Andrews days when Prince William reportedly decided that Kate was the only woman for him.

2) Feeling tweedy: It was spring 2004 when Kate rocked this oh-so rural-look during an outing with Wills. The skirt; the socks; the boots… It's all VERY horsey set.

3) Polka-dotty: Catherine sported this cotton pink halter-neck number – which she teamed with strappy floral red sandals – in July 2006. Suffice to say both are probably absent from her royal wardrobe now.

4) Casual in denim: During a short-lived split from her prince in the spring of '07, Ms Middleton popped over to Dublin with Mammy Middleton for a bit of shopping and to attend a gallery opening held by one of their friends.

5) More dots: Also in Dublin, the princess-in-waiting rocked this conservative black two-piece suit and open-toed, kitten-heel shoes.

6) And they're back on! Wills and Kate were back in each other's arms before long – after lying low for a while, in February 2008 she made a dazzling return to public life in this pink Issa gown.

7) The look we love: K.Middy was having the serious craic while wearing yellow hot-pants at a charity event in September 2008. We hope she kept that green sequin top too.

8) Hippy hippy shake: In the summer of '09, Catherine cooled down in stuffy London by wearing this long, flowing floral maxi skirt and flip-flops. Why she was carrying quite so many bags (we count four), we're still not sure.

9) Done deal: She got the ring – AND she looked amazing in this Issa number (the same one that sparked an entire trend) at the ridiculously high-profile press conference to announcement their engagement in November '10.

10) Lady in red: Those suede boots (the outfit would now be paired with LK Bennett pumps) are decidedly pre-wedding Kate, but just two months before their Big Day, William's girl was still looking really regal on an official outing with her prince.

11) Can't rain on my parade: Her weight-loss was noticeable (as were the creases), but two weeks before saying 'I do,' Ms Middleton still shined in Amanda Wakeley.

12) The day she wowed the world: THAT Alexander McQueen wedding dress. Afterwards, Kate left Westminster Abbey a fully-fledged princess. She hasn't looked back since.

Many of us don't really know what make-up brushes we need.

We have the few obvious ones, like a foundation brush and eyebrow brush, but after that, it's a bit of a minefield.

But with many businesses and bloggers pushing us to get a 50-piece brush set, which ones do we actually need?

The average woman doesn't need – and most likely will never use – all of the brushes found in a professionals make-up kit (fan brush, we're looking at you).

Instead, edit down to three that will multi-task to serve your eyeliner, foundation, blush and shadow needs. We found some great examples from MAC.

1. A small, angled brush

Use this for anything that requires precision: applying liquid or gel eyeliner, grooming and shaping your brows with powder and drawing clean, perfect lipstick lines.

2. A flat, paddle-like brush

This is essential for building coverage with powders and creams. You can use it for eye shadow, foundation, concealer and highlighter.

3. A soft dome-shaped brush

This fluffy brush should be a medium size to suit your eyes and face. Use it to blend, sweep and buff cream or powder blush and bronzer and to wash eye shadow across the eyelids.

Detox remedies such as vegetable juices, pills and cutting out certain foods might make us feel less guilty about overindulging but there is actually no scientific evidence to back up their "facts".

Detoxes are based on the idea that stored toxic substances can be removed by eating or avoiding certain foods.

The most popular detoxes tend to involve drinking ‘cleansing’ fruit and vegetable juice, but we're here to tell you about what myths to avoid at all costs:

Detox Myth 1: Certain liquid diets can push out toxins

This is totally wrong. No fad diet can emilinate harmful invaders faster than your built-in clean up crew (the liver, kidneys and colon)!

Many doctors and scientists suggest the best cleansing strategy is a proper diet and regular exercise.

Detox Myth 2: Drinking loads of water detoxes the body

H2O hydrates the liver and kidneys and encourages toxins to leave the body via urination. However, drinking water excessively in the name of detox can be really dangerous. Symptoms of water intoxication include headache, fatigue, vomiting and mental disorientation.

You should only drink around eight regular glasses of water a day.

Detox Myth 3: You can sweat out toxins with a serious sauna session

It's true that small amounts of toxins can leave the body via perspiration, but keep it in mind that heavy sweating can impair the body's natural detox system, makng it less efficient.

You'll do more detoxing in the bathroom than the sauna it seems!

We thought it was just Gigi and Bella modelling in the Hadid family, but now it seems their younger 16-year-old brother, Anwar, is about to step into the limelight.

Making his modelling debut in the October issue of Nylon magazine, Anwar looks just as good as his sisters while striking a pose.

In the interview, he talks about his family and gives Gigi and Bella their due shoutout.

"My sisters are awesome; they probably taught me everything I ever need to know about girls."

“My family is my foundation, my mom is very liberal, but also old-fashioned when it comes to manners. She taught me to always be kind and treat others with respect.”

But famous family and friends aside – Anwar is just your average 16-year-old guy.

“I admire people who can laugh at themselves and I get excited about anything from girls, cars, and climbing mountains to really good food.”

But even though the younger Hadid is happy to model for now, he plans to go to college soon and decide on a profession then, because right now it “is too hard to imagine.”
