We were promised they were all still the best of friends but recent social media activity seems to be telling a much different story indeed.

It was revealed in the last 24 hours that Zayn Malik, who left the band last week, has recorded his first solo single with producer, Naughty Boy.

Following the announcement, Naughty Boy retweeted a video which stated: “Naughty Boy saved my life. Zaughty will rise.” Zaughty is said to be an amalgamation of Naughty and Zayn.

This clearly did NOT go down well with the One Direction boys – especially Louis. Tweeting Naughty Boy, Liam raged: “Wow @NaughtyBoyMusic you’re so inconsiderate pal, seriously how fuc*ing old are you? Grow up! #masterofallwisdom."

He then followed up his tweet telling fans he couldn’t stay quiet when he saw the video, saying: “Always have struggled to bite my tongue.” He also accused the producer of purposely trying to upset the One Direction fandom: “@NaughtyBoyMusic I was talking about the video you tweeted. Clearly trying to wind the fans up! Well you succeeded anyway. Fair play.”

It certainly doesn’t sound as if things are all good between the lads – at all.

Megan Tomlin has decided it’s time to speak out about recordings of her ex-boyfriend Dan Osborne which were circulated in the media in the last month.

Talking to new! magazine, Megan explained that the recordings were initially made to get help from friends and family:

“The recordings were first made to seek help from family members. It was only through this that people were able to see the true extent of the problem.”

Dan, who is now dating the mum of his newborn daughter, EastEnders’ star Jacqueline Jossa, has since apologised for his behaviour in the tapes, but Megan has said that what could be heard was far from a once-off:

“The tapes you’ve listened to or read about were not a one-off. They were typical of Daniel’s behaviour towards me.”

Megan now says she is seeking help to get past her unhealthy relationship with Dan, who is the father of her one-year-old son, Teddy:

“I’ve been to my GP numerous times because I can’t put into words how much of a strain the situation has been. If you haven’t experienced it, it’s hard to explain how much a person can get inside your mind and control how you feel.”

We hope Megan, Dan and Jacqueline can work their issues out for the sake of little Teddy and baby Ella. 

Update 09:50 – Dan's current girlfriend Jacqueline Jossa has tweeted her support for Dan on Twitter following Megan's interview.

MAC have long been known for teaming up with designers to create amazing collections, so it’s fantastic to see that their latest collaboration is with an Irish name.  Philip Treacy is their artist of choice for spring 2015 – catch the collection at Brown Thomas from April.

Their new mascara that promises to hook, lift and curl lashes, Benefit Roller Lash is beautifully packaged, but bloody expensive at €26. After trialing it extensively, though, I do think it’s worth investing in if you’re sick of overly dramatic, clumpy mascaras. This one is definitely lifting and separating, and the formula seems to get better with age!

We're not sure if you've heard yet but there has been some pretty amazing news about chocolate. 

According to a study carried out by German researchers and published in the International Archives of Medicine, chocolate can actually help us to lose weight – not hinder it. Best. New. Ever. 

Research director, Johannes Bohannon explained the results of their study, saying: “It is not enough to just consume chocolate, but in combination with exercise and reduction in carbohydrates, our data indicate that chocolate can be a weight loss accelerator."

To celebrate this life changing news, we've decided to celebrate – with chocolate, of course. 

What you'll need:

For the cupcakes:

  • 110g self-raising flour
  • 110g butter at room temperature
  • 110g caster sugar
  • 40g cocoa powder
  • 12 Ferrero Rocher
  • 2 eggs
  • Pinch of salt

For the frosting:

  • 110g butter, softened
  • 110g icing sugar
  • 3 tbsp. Nutella​

What you'll need to do:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a cupcake tin with 12 muffin liners. 
  2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together before beating the eggs in and sifting in the cocoa, flour and salt. Combine until mixed throughout but don't overwork the mixture. 
  3. Pour the chocolate mixture between the muffin liners and fill about a fourth of the way to allow for rising. 
  4. Place a single Ferrero Rocher into the middle of each muffin liner. 
  5. Bake for about 20-25mins or until a knife comes out clean. 
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before icing.
  7. For the frosting simply combine the ingredients into a bowl and ice each cupcake.

It looks like Brian O'Driscoll has gotten back on his wife's good side after a minor slip over the weekend.

Amy posted a photo of her husband having a great time crowd surfing while on a 'business trip' in Hong Kong, writing: "You know when your husband is away in Hong Kong on a very important business trip…"

She later followed up with a warning for BOD, tweeting: "I better get a giant Toblerone from the duty free."

Thankfully, Brian clearly knows when he has been caught rotten, coming home with a Toblerone and a very guilty look on his face with Amy sharing a photo with fans and writing: "He's home."

Oh, you guys. Never change.

It had been rumoured months ago that Khloé Kardashian was trying to contact her estranged husband Lamar Odom in order to get their divorce finalised – but couldn’t find him.

Now, Lamar’s lack of contact with Khloé has been confirmed by her in a recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

When Kris asks for her former son-in-law’s number so she can contact him for his birthday, Khloé reveals just how bad things have gotten, saying: “His phone is off. It’s been off for, um, about a month. I’ve been trying to call him forever.”

The KUWTK star filed for divorce from Lamar in December 2013, four years after tying the knot only a month after meeting.

The entire situation is obviously still very raw for poor Khloé as she is seen snapping at her mum Kris who insists she really wanted to wish Lamar a happy birthday: “I can’t help you there mom if I can’t find him.”

Fans of the reality show will have seen the couple's marriage go from bad to worse as Lamar's behaviour became increasingly worrying with Khloé trying hard to help him, to no avail. 

Khloé is now dating rapper French Montana, having reconciled following a brief break-up earlier this year.

There’s a new beauty trend in town – the ‘granny’ hair.

We’ve seen silvery pinks and purples make an appearance but now plain old white-grey is having a serious moment with trendsetters all over Instagram.

The hashtag #GrannyHair has blown up on the photo sharing site and we have to say that some of the ladies can seriously pull off a head of grey hair.

Many celebrities have been trying out the look for a while now – with Nicole Richie, Dascha Polanco and Kelly Osbourne all dying their hair grey. 

Although we’re not so sure that is enough to convince us – after all, we’ll have plenty of time to rock the grey-haired look in a few years…

Zayn Malik has been accused of cheating on his fiancée, Perrie Edwards not once but twice in the past few weeks.

The entire situation began when the then-One Direction star was photographed with his arms around a fan, and later holding hands with her.

Then, this weekend a Swedish model named Martina Olsson spoke out about her affair with Zayn, who told The Sun that Perrie should leave him – and soon: “Perrie should not stay with Zayn any longer because he has cheated on her and continues to lie about it.”

However, Zayn has now denied any wrongdoing, with a spokesperson for the star saying: “Zayn completely denies any allegation that he had sex with Martina Olsson.”

We really hope for Perrie’s sake that he’s telling the truth as the pair are said to be planning a wedding much sooner than expected.

The couple were spotted over the weekend looking at properties to buy together in Hertfordshire in the UK.

Hunger Games heartthrob Liam Hemsworth showed off his new hairstyle at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards this weekend and the internet went crazy.

Why? Well, because it looks as if the boyband ‘curtain’ haircut is making a comeback – if Liam has anything to do with it.

Needless to say the internet has been having a LOT of fun with Liam's new look and the results are hilarious:

We’re having very mixed feelings about the return of the curtains. While we still swoon when remembering Nick Carter circa 1997 part of us feels it may belong there…forever.

Curtains or no, Liam still looks pretty good but let’s just hope they don’t catch on!

Kim Kardashian revealed on this week’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians that Kanye West lost his temper with her personal trainer over her weight.

Explaining to Khloé, Kim said that her husband ‘literally went crazy’ at her personal trainer when she told him she wanted to go down to 120lbs but her trainer didn’t agree it was a good idea.

“She was like, ‘no way, I can’t imagine you fifteen pounds lighter.’ And Kanye’s like, ‘Wait a minute, you are the trainer and you’re telling me you can’t imagine her fifteen pounds lighter?’”

Kim then went on to say that Kanye told her trainer they would need a new person to work with Kim, telling her: “If I tell you that she needs to lose weight in between her toes, you are going to figure out a fu**ing toe weight.”

Yikes. We reckon the trainer – who is no doubt very well accomplished to be working with the Kardashian family in the first place – knows much better than Kanye how Kim should work out.

Maybe leave him at home on your next gym trip, eh Kim?

Stop the lights – Niall Horan reportedly has a new lady in his life.

The singer, whose had an emotional few days following his bandmate Zayn quitting One Direction last Wednesday is said to be dating model and TV star, Amy Willerton.

According to The Mirror the pair have enjoyed many secret dates since meeting last December but have somehow managed to keep things very much under wraps, until now that is.

With Niall now on a huge world tour with the boys it’s hard to know if this blossoming romance will last but we must say they would make a very cute couple. 

It certainly appears as if Niall's priorities lie very much with One Direction at the moment, evident when he took to Twitter to promise fans his all following Zayn's announcement:

“Been a mad few days and your support has been incredible as per usual! This in turn Spurs us on to make the best music we possibly can … Put on great shows/tours for you guys. You are the best fans in the world and you deserve nothing less from us!”

Hmm, let's see where things go for Niall and Amy.
