The Michael Kors beauty range has only just started to make ripples over here and honestly doesn’t get enough love – it’s available in Arnotts and online. The brand’s limited edition Glow Colour Collection for spring 2015 features a new Hydrating Bronze Gel Crème; vibrant colours for nails and lips, bronzer, and a dry oil spray to achieve the iconic Michael Kors sun-kissed glow. My pick? Definitely the nail lacquers in Blush, Daydreamer and Paradise – they’re incredibly long lasting.

L’Oréal Infallible is a new modern matte foundation that looks set to rival some of our high-end favourites. There’s also a matching primer; both are lightweight, melting formulas that glide and fuse onto skin and lends flawless coverage. It’s just €11.99 from all good pharmacies!

Estée Lauder is a great brand for basics – their Double Wear range is particularly reliable for those of us who don’t have time for touch-ups. Featuring the same beloved formula, the newly updated Double Wear Stay-In-Place Eye Pencils now include a water-resistant claim, a silicone smudge tip and an updated collection of shades.

MAC have long been known for teaming up with designers to create amazing collections, so it’s fantastic to see that their latest collaboration is with an Irish name.  Philip Treacy is their artist of choice for spring 2015 – catch the collection at Brown Thomas from April.

Their new mascara that promises to hook, lift and curl lashes, Benefit Roller Lash is beautifully packaged, but bloody expensive at €26. After trialing it extensively, though, I do think it’s worth investing in if you’re sick of overly dramatic, clumpy mascaras. This one is definitely lifting and separating, and the formula seems to get better with age!
