It looks like recently divorced singer KT Tunstall has found love again after a difficult eighteen months following her split from husband Luke Bullen.

39-year-old KT was married to Luke, the drummer from her band for five years, but called time on their relationship last year. The talented songstress behind hits like Suddenly I See and Black Horse & The Cherry Tree revealed that both scheduling conflicts and the death of her adoptive father played a huge role in the demise of her marriage.

KT wasn’t keen to dwell on the negative aspects that go along with a split, recently saying: “It’s worked out great. I was very grateful for the opportunity over what I wanted to change about my life and ended up in a much better place. So yeah, I’m very happy and feeling very free.”

This newly free and happy KT recently tweeted a photo of herself with Jarom Rowland, head of music at the Sundance Music Institute at Skywalker Ranch, and there’s no doubting how relaxed and content the pair look together.

The smitten singer even captioned the snap with a love heart. Awwww!

KT has relocated to the States to study film music composition so it certainly looks like a new chapter in KT’s life has begun!

Like Atkins and the Zone before it, the Paleo diet is the healthy-eating craze of the moment.

It's supposedly based on a "caveman diet" – those basic, healthy foods that our ancestors survived on, because after all, who's ever seen a picture of an obese caveman?

But new research suggests that the diet has no strong scientific basis, as cavemen most likely ate a much larger variety of foods than the diet would have us believe.

The main basis of the low-carb Paleo diet is unprocessed food that could have been hunted or foraged for back in historic times – meat, fish, vegetables, nuts, seeds and leafy greens. It cuts out grains, dairy, sugar, potatoes and anything processed or high-fat.

However a study undertaken by Georgia State University says there's no one "Paleo diet." Cavemen were apparently very opportunistic eaters, who, understandably, ate whatever they could find to survive.

"Throughout the vast majority of our evolutionary history, balancing the diet was not a big issue. They were simply acquiring enough calories to survive and reproduce," said the study's author Ken Sayers.

The study also noted that it's difficult to find out whether our ancestor's diets were healthy or not, as they had such short lifespans regardless of their food intake. While it's true there are many more diet-related diseases these says, Sayers said this could simply be because we are living long enough for our diet to have a long-term effect on our health.

"Everyone would agree that ancestral diets didn’t include Twinkies, but I’m sure our ancestors would have eaten them if they grew on trees," he added.

A cake tree… now there's a caveman diet we could get on board with!

Rapper and musician Tyga is reportedly seeking custody of his infant son after a video featuring his ex, Blac Chyna went viral on the internet.

Tyga is said to be seeking full custody of two-year-old King Cairo after becoming angry over a video posted on Instagram that show his ex twerking alongside her friend, Amber Rose. It has been reported that this video was what pushed Tyga over the edge following months of believing his ex-fiancée was spending too much time partying.

While the couple do not currently have any custody arrangements with the courts, it is thought that King Cairo spends most of his time with Blac Chyna. However, this may all change if Tyga gets his way.

The rapper is said to be dating Kylie Jenner at the moment, and the pair were pictured only days ago handing out toys to children at a hospital.

We all know that break-ups are an awful thing to go through – but when you’ve been with the person for 12 whole years, it’s likely even harder. That’s longer than most Hollywood marriages after all! It’s only been a few months since Nicki Minaj and Safaree Samuels called time on their 12 year relationship – and it’s clear things are still very raw.

TMZ reporters spoke with the rapper’s ex on the street recently where he said that despite the Twitter war with Nicki, he will always care for her and calls her ‘family’. However, he also said it’s not easy for him at the moment as everywhere he turns his famous ex is there – which makes sense!

Safaree also called the bitter words on Twitter a ‘misunderstanding’ and said ‘it’s all love’ between them now, leading to speculation that the two have made up. While it seems unlikely they will get back together, it’s nice to hear that Safaree still considers Nicki family.

Whether you're sleeping off your Christmas dinner or trying to get an energy boost before a big night out, napping is a great way to recharge those batteries.

Beware though, because if you time your nap wrong or sleep for too long you could wake up feeling groggier than if you'd just stayed awake.

Beat your tiredness with these five napping tips!

1. Choose afternoons where possible
Obviously a nap is not always going to be an option in the afternoons, but daylight hours are prime napping time. The Spanish have the right idea with their siesta, as experts believe our body is programmed to have a natural afternoon slump.

2. Plan ahead
If you know you're going to be up late working (or partying), planning a nap beforehand is a great way to improve alertness and keep you energised. Research has shown that naps of an hour or more can actually improve our brain function for up to 24 hours, even without a full night's sleep. Win!

3. Time it right
If your plan is to take a short cat nap, aim for between 10 and 20 minutes. Any longer and you'll wake up feeling groggy and fuzzy-headed, which we doubt was the aim!

4. Use caffeine to your advantage!
Downing a quick cup of coffee just before you lie down is a great way to optimise the energising effects of both caffeine and rest. A cup of coffee takes around 20 minutes to lift your energy levels, so by the time you wake up from your nap you'll be raring to go!

5. Relax your mind
If you find it impossible to drift off during the day or early evening, use meditation techniques like breathing and calming visualisations to soothe your mind. Not only will you fall asleep quicker, but you'll wake up feeling more positive and relaxed.

It was only last week that it was reported Rita Ora and her boyfriend of six months, Ricky Hilfiger had parted ways.

However, it seems it didn’t take the couple long to patch things up (or perhaps didn’t split at all!) as they were seen looking very loved up and holding hands before heading into a nightclub in L.A. this weekend.

As the couple had not been spotted together since November and both have such busy schedules, rumours of a split were rampant – but the couple clearly decided to put them to rest once and for all.

Rita is definitely a busy woman at the moment as not only is she recording a new album but she has also starred in the upcoming film, Fifty Shades of Grey and is a judge on the next season of The Voice – phew!

Rita and Ricky began dating not long after Rita’s high-profile and very messy split from Calvin Harris in June of this year. The two had some war of words on Twitter, especially after it was alleged Rita did not perform at the Teen Choice Awards thanks to her ex's input.

Meanwhile, Calvin is said to be dating model Arrika Wolf who appeared in his video for Blame

This is officially the cutest animal video you will see all day. When this dog sees his owner coming to collect him from what looks like a doggy day-care centre, he simply cannot contain his excitement and begins doing the cutest dance we have ever seen.

He doesn't end things there though – he then begins jumping up and down as he sees his owner coming towards him – so much love.

It was reported this morning that former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan was expecting her first child with fiancé, Scott Sinclair – and now she has confirmed the exciting news herself!

The mum-to-be took to Twitter earlier today and conformed that she is pregnant, tweeting: “Me and Scott are expecting our first baby in the summer. We are both so happy and so excited xxx.”

Helen has made no secret of the fact she wants to be a mum and has spoken about it at length over the past two years, despite a brief break-up from Scott: “I really wanted a baby when me and Scott were together and now obviously I’m glad we didn’t have one.” However, things have changed dramatically since the pair rekindled their romance this year and the baby plan was put back on track!

Congratulations to the happy couple on their exciting news!

Christmas seemed to start bizarrely early this year, with selection boxes and other telltale signs appearing on shop shelves before Halloween had even finished. At that time of year it’s difficult to get into the festive spirit, but as the days crept on and December 25th drew nearer, the Christmas craziness became more and more amplified.

Festive shop window displays, Christmas music pumping from every store, lights, mince pies and mulled wine – the holiday season really is everywhere you look by now. But with so much on offer it can be difficult to feel like you are making the most of Christmas. There’s always something you’ve missed out on, or someone who’s having WAY more fun than you.

With the dawn of social media it’s easy to discover what everyone else is doing – or, to put it more accurately, to discover what it is you feel YOU should be doing.

Just when you think you’ve experienced a sufficient amount of Christmas magic – you’ve had a mince pie, you’ve swapped out your G&T for a mulled wine, you’ve even bought a gift! – up pops another filtered Instagram photo of a beautiful tree, or a Facebook status update about having a MAGICAL time ice-skating. Cue Christmas-related fear.

For most of us, Christmas week is about frantic gift-buying, being overwhelmed with pre-holiday work, and trying to navigate cross-country transport. It’s simply not possible to do all of that and fit in every piece of festive fun that’s available. But for some reason, as soon as we spot that photo or tweet, we instantly feel we’ve failed, that we’re not getting into the joy of Christmas, and that it’ll pass us by before we know it. Everyone else is happy and relaxed, why aren’t we?

The social media pressure even continues into Christmas Day. “Look how happy my family are!” “Look at how beautiful this dinner is!” “Look how amazing my boyfriend was to get me this gift!” After all, why else would you go to the bother of going online on Christmas Day if not to have a little boast? And social media is the perfect way to do that, with the instant gratification of likes and comments pouring in as soon as we make a post.

While social media is a great way to connect people, maybe this year we should take a step back a little. Firstly, by not berating ourselves for failing to get into the spirit of Christmas, and secondly, by not feeling pressured to post about every single activity we take part in or event we attend.

Just because that cute family photo doesn’t make it to Facebook, or you don’t tweet about how hilarious your Christmas Eve drinks were, it doesn’t mean those things didn’t happen. It just means you were enjoying them too much to be bothered telling a bunch of strangers and acquaintances all about it.

Next time you pick up your phone to check Facebook or Twitter, just remember Christmas is about joy, family and friends – not about showing off or feeling guilty.

Reality TV star and socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson was arrested at Heathrow Airport over the weekend it has been reported.

Tara began to throw something of an epic tantrum when she was refused entry to the first-class lounge at the airport and it allegedly took EIGHT police officers to control her and remove her from the scene. That really doesn’t sound good!

The former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here star was said to be ripping out her hair extensions and screaming and shouting abuse, with a witness claiming: “She had completely lost control and was screaming at the officer. They had no choice but to arrest her for her own and everyone else’s safety.”

Tara was later brought to a local police station in the area and issued a caution for the behaviour. She has a history of drug abuse and even appeared on The Jeremy Kyle Show earlier this year to talk about her cocaine addiction.

The socialite was due to fly to Zurich to celebrate her birthday in the luxury ski resort of Klosters when the incident occurred. She later returned to the airport to catch a flight to Zurich the next day.

Demi Lovato has had her fair share of online haters and trolls to deal with, and it seems she now has it down to a fine art if this latest tweet is anything to go by!

The singer was attacked in a cruel message on Twitter that read: “shut up fatty don’t choke on ur mcdonalds.” While we can imagine this sort of awful message would definitely get us down, if not put us off Twitter altogether, it seems Demi knows exactly how to deal with this sort of bullying.

Without batting an eyelid, she quickly retorted with a very witty message of her own: “But…. Big Macs….” We love it! The singer accompanied her perfect response with the ‘praise’ emoji, because like us, she knows just how important Big Macs are!

The taunt came across as particularly cruel given that Demi has always been very honest and open about her struggles with eating disorders in the past. In 2010, Demi entered rehab for these struggles as well as substance abuse issues.

Hopefully this will show the troll and all of the others out there that Demi doesn’t take anything they say seriously or let it get to her and we love her for that! What a great role model for the younger generations!
