Actress Rose McGowan was left shaken after an unprovoked attack at a restaurant in New York over the weekend.

The Charmed star was dining at Bar Pitti, a favourite with celebs including Beyoncé and Jay-Z, when an unidentified man climbed out of a pavement grate and threw a red smoke bomb into the building. 

The suspect, described as a blond man in his thirties, reportedly fled after throwing the bomb and has yet to be apprehended by police. 

Luckily nobody was harmed,  even though the bomb landed directly on an outdoor table. Rose herself took to Twitter to express her shock:

Her fans were quick to respond, with messages like "Wow, hope you and everyone else there is okay." and "How are your eyes now? Take care!"

One onlooker at the restaurant described the incident as "pretty scary," saying "I saw something get thrown right into the front door and red smoke started pouring out. The waiters looked really shocked… People started panicking, but as it dispersed, some started taking pictures."

Are we proud or what?

Hozier is fast-becoming the most talked-about talent on the music scene, and last night he achieved yet another amazing milestone by performing on US show Saturday Night Live.

Amazing stuff. Huge congratulations, Hozier!

The Bray native was already celebrating this week, having found out that not only had his album topped the charts, but his Irish tour has also sold out. Wow.

So he must have been feeling confident as he stepped onto the stage last night, and boy, did it show in his performance.

The man has such an incredible talent.

Well done, Hozier. We are delighted for you!

Drake is reportedly being investigated by police after allegedly making threats to his ex-girlfriend.

The claims come from model Shaye G, who was previously romantically linked to the Take Care singer.

According to reports, Shaye posted up online photos of expensive gifts that Drake had once bought for her, prompting the singer to send a string of angry messages.

The model is now claiming that the messages carried a threatening tone, with one of them supposedly warning her that if Drake ever saw her, she was “getting run up outta there”.

Shaye went on to report the singer earlier this week, with TMZ receiving confirmation from the police this weekend that they were going to be investigating her accusations.

This isn’t the first time that Drake has found himself at the centre of these kinds of allegations.

During the summer, stripper Jhonni Blaze claimed that she was threatened by the singer’s “people”, who thought she was going to reveal details of their romantic encounters together. 

Drake always denied Blaze’s accusations, and she recently apologised for her statements.

Oh dear. It looks like Robin Thicke’s plan to ‘get her back’ did not work out so well.

While it was revealed earlier this week that his wife Paula Patton has filed for divorce, it is now being reported that she has also moved on and is in a new relationship.

According to the latest rumours, Paula has been dating musician Zak Waters for a while now, with the couple recently moving in together.

We can imagine that Robin is pretty crushed by this news.

A friend of Paula’s apparently broke the news about the actress’ new romance, telling Radar Online: “Zak moved in with her a couple of weeks ago. They are very happy together and he treats her how she deserves to be treated.”

Ouch. Was that a subtle dig at the Blurred Lines singer?

Robin and Paula married in 2005, having been dating since they were 16. Despite their often intense red carpet PDAs, the couple announced that they were to separate in February of this year.

Oh no. They much prefer climbing on top of each other for a bout of extreme couple’s yoga!

Victoria’s Secret model Behati took to Instagram last night to share a strange but equally impressive photo of herself basically planking on her Maroon 5 husband’s back.

Is he in pain? He looks like he might be in pain.

Stunning Behati shared the photo on her Instagram account, with the caption reading: “Stuff that happens after sunset.”

We take it that this is a regular occurrence in their lives since their wedding in July, then? Well, at least they’re not bored of married life yet!

Between this latest sneak peek into their home life activities, and their creepy antics in the controversial new Maroon 5 video, they certainly know how to grab attention.

The celebrity engagements just keep coming this weekend.

Now it’s the turn of former Sugababes star Amelle Berrabah!

The singer took to Twitter last night to share her happy news, posting a photo of herself beaming beside her fiancé, Marcio, and holding up her ring hand.

The 30-year-old singer, who also starred in the celebrity gymnastics show Tumble, described her record company CEO as her “one true love”, adding that she was “in shock” over the surprise proposal.

One of the first people to offer their congratulations was TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh, who tweeted Amelle saying: “Wishing you both a lifetime of love & happiness”.

Now the only question that remains is whether her wedding will prompt a Sugababes reunion. Somehow we think not.

She may be only two-years-old but already Blue Ivy is showing a love for art and culture!

Well, if the photos of her hanging out in the Louvre in Paris this week are anything to go by!

Beyoncé and Jay-Z cemented their status as the coolest parents in the world by taking their daughter to visit the art gallery, posing up a storm in front of the Mona Lisa.

If we could bottle their coolness, we would make a fortune. Just look at them!

Blue seemed to be enjoying her time in the famous museum, even picking up the camera at one point to take a shot. Bless!

Not that we would expect anything less, given how incredibly famous the Carter family is, but it looks as though the museum was completely cleared of tourists so that they could enjoy their visit undisturbed.

Talk about the royal treatment!

The fine folk at TV3 have noticed just how bonkers the nation goes for Ryan Tubridy in a Christmas jumper, and have decided to produce their own version of the beloved show this coming festive season.

A double dose of toy show madness? We are beyond excited!

Not many details about the project have been revealed so far, except that the show will run for 90 minutes and will be broadcast live from the RDS on Friday, Nov 21st.

And who are they lining up to rival Ryan? Well, all we know so far is that it’s a well-known celebrity face.

So it looks as though Chris Martin has passed one of the biggest tests of any relationship: meeting the parents!

Yes, apparently Jennifer Lawrence is quite smitten with the Coldplay frontman, so much so that she recently introduced him to her mother.

This is always a scary ordeal, so we’re glad to hear that Chris passed the ‘mummy test’ with flying colours!

According to reports, Jen’s mum, Karen, flew all the way out to Los Angeles specially to meet her daughter’s new man, and was very impressed with what she saw.

Jennifer’s grandmother spilled the beans to the media (nice one, gran) saying: “We will have to get another chair for the dinner table at Christmas.”

While the stars have not actually officially confirmed that they are a couple, they have been spotted looking cosy on a number of occasions since romance rumours first broke.

And, let’s face it, her grandmother just set the writing on the wall for once and for all.

Good luck to Chris and Jen – we think they make a very sweet couple.

Oh dear, it looks like there is no escaping the ghost of Robert Pattinson’s ex for new girlfriend FKA Twigs.

The singer has prompted rumours that she may not be Kristen’s biggest fan, after the actress was drawn up at a recent gig.

According to reports, a cheeky fan in the crowd shouted, “F*** Kristen Stewart” out loud – which apparently amused the singer no end.

Indeed, members of the crowd said that Twigs couldn’t help but smirk after hearing the diss on her new man’s famous ex.

Meow – the claws are out!

Robert and Twigs, real name Tahliah Debrett Barrnett, were first spotted together back in September, with a source telling Us Weekly that the pair had enjoyed a string of dates.

It hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing for the couple since news of their romance broke however, with Tahliah reportedly finding herself on the receiving end of cruel Twitter trolling.

Let’s hope all this drama dies down and everyone can get along!

She’s never too far away from the drama, is our Miley?

The latest controversy surrounding the singer has seen her dragged into a lawsuit being brought against her sister, Brandi.

According to reports, Brandi is being sued by her neighbour, model Yolande Ngom, who is claiming that Brandi’s dog ‘Feather’ attacked her and ruined her career.

What’s that got to do with poor Miley, you ask?

As well as the fact that Miley’s company owns Brandi’s apartment, Ngom is claiming that it was an employee of the singer who was handling Feather at the time of the attack, and who failed to keep him under control.

After breaking free from his handler, Feather is reported to have bitten Ngom in the thigh, ripping it open and leaving her with scars so bad that she claims she will never work as a model again.

Now Ngom is suing Miley and Brandi’s company for the medical bills as well as lost wages.

It’s never a dull day in the Cyrus’ world!
