Dua Lipa is reportedly dating model Anwar Hadid after breaking up with her long-term on-again-off-again boyfriend, Isaac Carew.

The New Rules singer has apparently been spending time with the younger brother of Gigi and Bella Hadid in Los Angeles following her split from the chef.

According to Glamour UK, Lipa attended Hadid’s birthday party in Malibu last week, where they were spotted “cosying up” to one other.

Sources have said Lipa was pictured "by Hadid's side" on Instagram stories as his guests sang 'Happy Birthday' to him. Lipa and Gigi are meant to be close friends, which could explain the link to Anwar.

The Sun has also claimed that Lipa and Hadid have gone on a “string of dates"'; “Dua and Isaac have a lot of history and he holds a special place in her heart,” an insider told the tabloid.

“But she has been in Los Angeles almost every day since they split again and she has been able to spend time with Anwar, who she really gets on with. They are a lot closer in age and it’s just been fun," the source added.

"It’s a confusing time for both Dua and Isaac but she is just going with the flow and doing what feels right.”

Carew dated Lipa between 2013 and 2017, but the pair called time on their romance. Dua then dated Paul Klein, the lead singer of band LANY, but rekindled her relationship with Carew last year and attended the Met Gala with him in May.

“Dua and Isaac have really struggled to see each other since getting back together,” a source told The Sun. “They wanted to make things work and things were great between them for a while but she is just getting busier and busier.

“She is gearing up to release new music and has basically been performing across the world non-stop for the past three years so it’s been tough. It’s been a difficult decision but ultimately they haven’t been able to make things work"

Hadid and Lipa could be just friends, of course, but boy would they make a damn handsome couple.

Tonight's Love Island looks set to be a good one and we cannot wait.

In a twist, the couple had to vote for who they thought was the least compatible….and they chose Joe and Lucie and Elma and Anton.

No big surprises there, right?

However, the public has the power now to kick out their least two favourite Islanders.

Thank f*ck.

Ok, so I know Lucie isn't Miss Innocent and whispering with a guy (Tommy) she was in a love triangle with isn't the nicest thing in the world to do, but she needs to get away from Joe.

Sandwich man Joe started out as alright, few red flags of jealousy and possessiveness…but the last few days, his behaviour is downright not ok.

He's making Lucie feel bad for not being a girlie girl and told her she needs to spend more time with the girls in the villa.

He 's said that her friendship with Tommy is ''weird'' because he's a guy and it's kinda gaslighting.

So bye Joe.

So – Elma and Anton.

Anton's video when he came in had me thinking – Oh ffs, here's an arrogant shit' but he's such a sweetheart.

He's been pied so many times and is still smiling.

He told Molly-Mae how it was, hugged Anna even though he had to recouple with a romantic partner, is funny and just seems like a good guy.

He's not everyone's cup of tea but he's not a d*ckhead, that's for sure.

I initially thought Elma was ok and she and Anton seemed to make sense…but her behaviour the minute (could be just sneaky editing) after Anton chose her, she went cold.

I was like – wtf Elma?

Anton is a CUTIE – I know, I know, keeping her options open…I just feel like she's not and never has been into Anton and I'm not a fan.

So for me, it's an easy choice…Joe and Elma should get the boot.

We'll see how Lucie acts without Joe and as for Anton, throw someone in there who fancies the poor lad, will you?

We've all been there; giving yourself lactose intolerance from the sheer volume of Ben & Jerry's eaten, tear-stained pillow cases and drowning our sorrows in tequila.

Nope, that's not just our weekend plans…we're referring to the age old reality of break-ups.

You can rant about your ex for weeks, chant self-love quotes from Queer Eye to yourself for the rest of your days and get involved in the rebound game- but it's hard to deny how hard it is to go through heartbreak.

Psychologist Guy Winch, who wrote How to Fix a Broken Heart, helps us out by debunking some common myths surrounding heartbreak

He explains how the pain of heartbreak lingers only as long as you allow it to. Sounds absurd? Let's take a look at his tips for handling break-ups. We need 'em.

“Functional MRI Brain scan studies have shown that the withdrawal of romantic love activates the same mechanisms in the brain as get activated when addicts go through withdrawal from substances like cocaine or opioids,” the TED speaker told The Independent.

"In other words, love is addictive and heartbreak causes us to go through powerful withdrawal," he continues. Love is a drug? This explains why we can obsess over our former loves almost like a deprived craving.

Winch emphasises that this is why it can be so difficult to move on to someone else. We tend to idealise our exes, and our rose-tinted glasses distort out memories of them. This convinces us that our romanticised vision of them is the reality.

“You have to make sure that any thoughts you have about an ex are realistic and balanced,” Winch insists.

“If your mind conjures up images of your happiest weekend together, you need to add in the images from the weekend that drove you crazy and upset you tremendously," he advises. He's like a mind ninja.

“If you find yourself longing for their sweet embrace, you should remember the nights they rejected our advances and slept on the far edge of the bed," Winch elaborates.

Another suggestion of his is to write down a list of reasons why the relationship failed, to keep you grounded. Acceptance of the notion of "being dumped" can also be tough, and usually leads to self-pity.

It seems like your ex is out there living their best single life, but actually they've been emotionally disengaged from the relationship for a long time. “By the time the break-up happens, they are essentially over the relationship,” Winch said.

“However, the person who got dumped is just finding out and is in the most initial stages of grief and loss." It's an imbalance, essentially.

Winch has some stellar advice for avoiding the common traps that people fall into, the main one being; NEVER check their social media. Your ex will only become more present in your mind, and this means it's even harder to quit fantasising about them.

He also advises to avoid creating mysteries about why the break-ups occurred, as this makes your ex even more prominent in your thoughts. Downgrade them, basically. Stick with the facts at all times, and try to uphold your self-esteem.

They were possibly unwilling to commit, they drifted emotionally or else they just weren't the person you thought they were; in any case, it's over and you need to move on. List out all the compromises you had to make in that relationship that you wouldn't do again.

Keep doing the fun things that made you feel like you. Don't lapse on your own enjoyment of activities, and your daily life. Going through the motions signals to yourself that life goes on and time heals all wounds.

Reach out to your pals and embrace their support. Heartbreak is ubiquitous and you can use all the advice you can get. You'll learn a lot from other people's experiences.

Take the reminders of the relationship out of your routine, such as texts or old photos from your phone. Delete their number, any kind of reminder will most likely cause you distress and pain.

We have to say; Winch is one wise man. Psychology can teach us a lot about love and break-ups; our mind is just as important as our hearts when it comes to moving on.

I was seventeen the first time I fell in love.

It was with one of my childhood friends and we had what I now know was chemistry (at the time he was just constantly getting under my skin).

But when we started going out, everything clicked into place.

We fell into an all-consuming type of love, the only type you can have when you're 17.

It was the messaging under the covers at night/hungry kisses in my hall on a school night/naive and hormone-fuelled kinda thing.

Being a teenager in general, your world is small and that means that everything is heightened.

This person is suddenly your whole life and because it's the first time you're having these feelings…it's intense.

Things like jealousy rear their ugly head for the first time and this can cause dizzying heights and crashing lows.

When the inevitable heartbreak came, we were nineteen.

My whole world blurred and temporarily nothing seemed to make sense.

Being with your first love is a magical time and one that many of us just can't seem to let go of – but why?

Why do we have this bond?

So, this is the science bit.

When two people first meet, their bodies release a stress hormone called norepinephrine.

This is what makes you have the butterflies in your stomach, heart pounding away in your chest, the whole works.

Researchers at Arizona State University College also found this cool thing – the hormone makes events burn into your memory.

You know the way you can remember specific kisses or conversations you had but what happened the day before is a blur?

They discovered a link that causes these strong emotions to form a specific sensory experience.

In other words, when you get around that person again, their presence causes those old memories and initial feelings to come flooding back.

It's not that you don't forget about them; when you see them again, those old feelings of first love can return.

So it looks like first love is the deepest – in a literal sense as it's carved out what you think love should look like.

We never learn as much from a relationship as we do from our first serious one and because of that, they will never fully leave us.

In the words of writer Daphne du Maurier, ''I am glad it cannot happen twice, the fever of first love. For it is a fever, and a burden, too, whatever the poets may say."

The merry-go-round of reality tv couples continues.

The latest pair to hook up is Zara McDermott and Sam Thompson, of Love Island and Made in Chelsea fame.

They have been doing the 2019 version of flirting – commenting on each other's Instagram pictures.

But then they were pictured holding hands in London and now their reps have confirmed that they are in fact, dating.

The pair furled speculation they were dating after they pictured together in a social media post on May 26

While Sam might be a bit of an eejit, he's a harmless one and we're delighted for Zara after being messed around by Adam Collard.

It seems things are going from strength to strength for the couple as Zara commented ''“I [love] U'' under a shirtless snap of Sam.

The MIC star was previously in a long-term relationship with co-star Tiffany Watson and he has since said it ended because he was ''immature.''

We think they look kinda good together – crack on, we say.

According to The Sun, ''Sammy has the gift of the gab – he does well at work and makes good money. The only reason he’s reconnected with Dani is that she has a lot going for her at the moment – she has money, a clothing range and endorsement deals, he will feel like he’s hit the jackpot.''

Hmmm, we're not sure we like the sound of him but sure look, she looks happy so who are to judge?

It's the good news all of us Derry Girls fans( and let's be honest, who isn't?) have been waiting for.

I first thought that she secretly harboured feelings for him when she was having NONE of him losing his virginity to the Russian exchange student.

Nicola Coughlan, who plays Clare, then said, ''Ooooh, Jerin! Jerin!"

Lisa MGee, creator of Derry Girls, previously told Radio Times, ''I think there might be. I've always thought James likes her, but I think he maybe doesn’t even understand that yet, and I don't know when that'll, it might happen when they're much older, so it might not actually happen in our show.''

It seems like Kaz Crossley has officially moved on from her Love Island romance with Josh Denzel, with ANOTHER former Love Island-er; Theo Campbell.

They seem to stick to their pack, this lot. Kaz pretty much confirmed the rumours swirling about her romance with Campbell on a PDA-filled night out.

Theo appeared on the ITV show back in 2017, and seemed smitten with Crossley. He even put her on his Instagram Story (GASP).

I genuinely thought Wes n Megan were for keeps…or would be together longer than they were.

But alas, Dancing on Ice was to tear them apart and they called it quits.

Well, our gal Lily didn't waste any time. We don't blame her, she went straight in with the comment and struck GOLD with his reply.

The Love, Rosie actress wrote, "I never look that good when I lounge." We understand that on a spiritual level, but Noah disagreed and wrote back, "Oh please" and a FLAMES emoji.

A flame emoji translates to; "Gurl, you are a fine-ass honey and I want to trap that bee in her hive."

An eagle-eyed fan also spotted some love-heart emoji's being exchanged, which in 2019 basically means you're married. We don't make the rules, the online community do, okay?

Emojis appear to decide the fate of existence nowadays, but we truly hope these two can meet again in person and further give evidence of their romance.

They're both gorgeous-looking people, and would have stunner babies.

Noah and Lily actually do know each other, after working together on a project when he starred alongside and directed her in ARTY's Save Me Tonight music video.

Noah wrote at the time, "I convinced @artymusic to let me direct the music video for Save Me Tonight and somehow Lily Collins agreed to star in it with a bunch of our friends."

Lily also said it was "an insanely fun day." Yeah it was, because Noah was there.

So the dating rumours don't exactly sound legit, but we're heavily enjoying their harmless Insta-flirting. They've got chemistry, don't they?

Long may the flanter last, in our opinion. Carry on, we'll be shipping them in the corner.
