Jennifer Aniston

We'll be honest with you; this story baffles us.

Now, we can all relate to fangirling HARD over a movie franchise, tv programme or celebrity (*cough* Michael B Jordan, AKA The Snack *cough*) but this YouTuber took things pretty damn far all on her lonesome.

Chi with a C has become a viral sensation after recreating the entire first episode scene-for-scene of famous New York sitcom Friends

Despite having zero props and costumes, and only a Macbook green-screen for company, the superfan made the pilot episode all by herself and we are IMPRESSED.

It must have taken her hours and hours of work, and we're pretty sure she was procrastinating some kind of college work but boy did she commit.

She did it all in her pyjamas too, for an…alternative…costume wardrobe. Not bad for a cast of one though, we have to say

The YouTuber uses her channel for comedy purposes, as you may have guessed.

The comedian-in-training previously turned herself into Sharon Osbourne and even recreating Thank U Next with whistles alone. Alright then, each to their own..

She's got ten seasons of Friends material to dissect should she please, she seems to have the spare time on her hands anyways.

Jennifer Aniston has had her fair share of headlines over her lengthy career in TV and movies.

But now, on the cusp of hitting her milestone 50th birthday, she says that she is perfectly content with how her life is – and her career is certainly going from strength to strength.

She sat down with ELLE magazine to open about her life, love and how she's won't let her age get in the way of having a family.

The public's fascination with her

The media have been obsessed with Jennifer since her days of Friends – when is she getting married? Is she pregnant? When will she get pregnant?

She believes that using marriage and children as the ultimate marker of female happiness is a way to disempower successful women.

She says, ''What quantifies happiness in someone’s life isn’t the ideal that was created in the ’50s. It’s not like you hear that narrative about any men.”

She added, ''Why do we want a happy ending? How about just a happy existence? A happy process? We’re all in process constantly.''

Womanhood

Jennifer is keen to make sure that women know that they have other options – that being a wife and mother aren't the only ones.

She said, ''We live in a society that messages women: By this age, you should be married; by this age, you should have children. That’s a fairy tale. That’s the mould we’re slowly trying to break out of.''

How has the media's response to her not having kids affected her?

She said, ''It’s such a shallow lens that people look through. It’s the only place to point a finger at me as though it’s my damage – like it’s some sort of a scarlet letter on me that I haven’t yet procreated, or maybe won’t ever procreate.”

Is a family something she wants?

She said,  "Who knows what the future holds in terms of a child and a partnership – how that child comes in…or doesn't? And now with science and miracles, we can do things at different times than we used to be able to."

Her marriages

The actor has been married twice – to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005, and Justin Thereoux from 2015 to 2017.

She believes that her unions have been successful.

She said, ''When they came to an end, it was a choice that was made because we chose to be happy, and sometimes happiness didn't exist within that arrangement anymore."

Sure, there were bumps, and not every moment felt fantastic, obviously, but at the end of it, this is our one life and I would not stay in a situation out of fear. Fear of being alone. Fear of not being able to survive. To stay in a marriage based on fear feels like you’re doing your one life a disservice.

Social Media

Jennifer is not a fan of social media – and for good reason.

She said, ''The one thing I have is maintaining this little circle of sanctity that’s my own.''

She added, ''If I’m sitting here posting something about my dogs or I’m Boomeranging my coffee mug in the morning, that’s just giving away one more piece of something that is mine."

Her relationship with her mum

Jen was famously estranged from her mum, former model Nancy Dow, for years.

She opens up about their strained relationship, which began when she was a kid and her mother was focused on Jennifer's physical appearance.

Jennifer said, ''It wasn't her fault, it's just the things she would teach me…It didn't instil a lot of security about how I felt about my physical appearance."

She continued, ''I think she was just holding on and doing the best she could, struggling financially and dealing with a husband who was no longer there. Being a single mom in the ’80s I’m sure was pretty crappy.”

We're sure 2019 will be another stellar year for Jennifer – and that she will continue to live her life according to her own rules.

Jennifer Aniston has opened up about the strained nature of her dysfunctional relationship with her late mother, Nancy Dow.

The actress describes the correlation between their maternal bond and her complex new Netflix film Dumplin', in which she plays a pushy mother and former pageant queen.

In the new movie, her daughter is plus-size and enters herself in a competition purely to make a dramatic statement regarding unrealistic beauty standards in our society.

The 49-year-old actress spoke candidly to The Sunday Telegraph about the many parallels between how Dow treated her during her childhood and Dumplin's expression of mother-daughter relationships.

When asked whether the two were similar experiences, Aniston replied “Where do we start?”

“One of the reasons I really loved the mother-daughter aspect of it was because it was very similar in a way to what my mother, and our relationship, was,” Aniston told the publication.

Nancy Dow, based on Aniston's description of her, was clearly preoccupied with her daughter's appearance.

“She was a model and she was all about presentation and what she looked like and what I looked like,” The former Friends actress commented. The star endured a highly-publicised fall-out with former actress Dow.

“I did not come out the model child she’d hoped for and it was something that really resonated with me, this little girl just wanting to be seen and wanting to be loved by a mum who was too occupied with things that didn’t quite matter.”

The actress added that she really resonated with the film's message, which encourages the audience to embrace their flaws and imperfections.

"This movie is so special because it is about stripping away those preconceived notions of beauty, trying to become individuals and not feeling that we have to live up to some unrealistic ideal that society is feeding up to us," she explained.

"My idea of beauty is, it's what makes you feel beautiful and what makes me feel beautiful are the people around me, the life that I have. And maybe a good hair day."

Aniston previously told The Hollywood Reporter in 2015 about Dow, saying; "She was very critical of me."

Nancy wrote a biographical book in 1999 about their strained relationship: From Mother and Daughter to Friends: A Memoir, which Aniston saw as a breach of privacy.

"Because she was a model, she was gorgeous, stunning. I wasn't. I never was. I honestly still don't think of myself in that sort of light, which is fine."

We think she's absolutely beautiful, inside and out. Dow passed away in 2016 at the age of 79, after a long illness.

It's been more than a decade since Hollywood's golden couple parted ways, and yet the public is still absolutely fascinated by the dynamics of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's relationship.

Indeed, when news broke that Brad and his second wife, Angelina Jolie, decided to part ways last year, the internet was awash with memes suggesting that Jennifer Aniston was positively celebrating the news.

And while the former Friends star, who married Justin Theroux in 2015, has undoubtedly moved on with her life, recent reports suggest that the heartbreak born of her divorce still runs deep.

According to In Touch Weekly, Brad decided to reach out to Jennifer in recent days in an effort to apologise for any hurt caused during or after their marriage, and it sounds like Jennifer had a hard time dealing with the conversation.

"It was the most intimate conversation Brad and Jen have ever had," a source told the US publication.

And, unsurprisingly, 48-year-old Jen, who never made any secret of the upset she felt enduring such a high-profile break-up, struggled to keep her composure during the exchange.

"Jen was overcome with emotion," the source continued. "All the hurt feelings and resentment she'd suppressed for years came flooding to the surface, and she broke down in tears."

In addition to apologising to Jennifer for being an 'absentee husband' during their marriage between 2000 and 2004, Brad reportedly 'made amends for leaving her for Angelina'.

It's been 12 years since the last episode of Friends aired and a staggering 22 years since it first hit our TV screens, and yet it remains a steadfast favourite among millions.

While some sitcoms are incredibly quick to date, there's just something about Friends which makes it as relevant today as it was in the mid 90s, isn't there?

And while we still sing along to its iconic theme tune and get a frission of comfort from its title sequence, it seems there are six particular people who weren't as impressed by the show's lead-in.

Opening up about the programme which catapulted her into super-stardom, Jennifer Aniston revealed that she and her five co-stars weren't exactly bowled over by requests to dance in a fountain.

Speaking on The One Show recently, Jennifer said: "We felt it was a little… I don't know. Dancing in a pond? A fountain felt sort of odd."

The star, whose hairstyle during Friends revolutionised salon trips, admitted they agreed simply because they didn't have a say in the matter, confessing: "We did it because we were told to."

And while the idea of waltzing around a fountain for the heck of it didn't exactly appeal, there's no doubting Jennifer holds her decade on the show in very high regard.

Confessing to watching re-runs of the show, Jennifer told host Alex Jones: "I can't help it."

"First, I'm trying to remember which episode it is, and then half the time I'm saying to myself, 'I don't remember that,' You get sucked into the nostalgia of it."

We're with you on that one, Jen.

While her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, has been negotiating custody of his children following his split from Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston has been speaking to Marie Claire about the dynamic of her own relationship.

Having wed Justin Theroux in 2015, the former Friends star told the magazine that Justin has given her a sense of comfort she had sought for decades.

Jennifer, who has endured a high-profile divorce from Brad Pitt and railed against intense media scrutiny over her lack of children over the course of the last decade, explains that Justin brings out the best in her.

"There's no part of me that I don't feel comfortable showing, exposing. And it brings forth the best part of myself, because I care about him so much." she explained.

Adding to this heartwarming summation of her marriage, she continued: "And he's such a good person. It hurts me to think of anything hurting him."

Jennifer suggests that this level of contentment is not something she is particularly used to, explaining that she's spent much of her career having to justify personal choices.

"My marital status has been shamed; my divorce status was shamed; my lack of a mate had been shamed; my nipples have been shamed," she said.

Reflecting on her decision to write an open letter highlighting the media's treatment of her personal life, she told the magazine: "I just thought: I have worked too hard in this life and this career to be whittled down to a sad, childless human."

God, if we didn't already love her enough already…

As his wife is forced to endure unnecessary scrutiny in the aftermath of her ex-husband's divorce from Angelina Jolie, Justin Theroux would be justified in shutting down any reporter who quizzed him on the celebrity split.

But it looks like Justin has decided to take the high road and has, instead, expressed concern for the couple's six children.

Speaking to Business Insider, Justin offered a personal insight into divorce and reminded the public that empathy is vital during these situations.

"As a child of divorce, all I can say is that's terrible news for those children, and that's all you can really say," he responded.

The actor, who recently revealed the key to his relationship with Jennifer Aniston, admitted he didn't feel overly compelled to comment on the split which has dominated headlines over the past seven days.

"It's boring to sort of comment on anything else. People are having a bad time. That's horrible," he added.

Justin and Jennifer tied the knot last year after four years of dating.

In the wake of Angelina Jolie’s shock divorce filing, the Internet reacted as appropriately as expected by sharing memes, GIFs and videos of Brad’s ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston.

But while the Mother’s Day actress has remained tight-lipped on the high profile split, her good friend and former co-star Courteney Cox has come forward to ask people to leave Jen out of the Brangelina drama.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the Cougar Town star said Brad’s marriage trouble has nothing to do with her 47-year-old friend.

“It’s not about her,” she said.  “I feel like we’re exacerbating it by even talking about it.”

Jen’s current partner, Justin Theroux, issued a similar message recently when he said the very inclusion of his wife’s name in the Brangelina divorce commentary is “nonsense”.

During an interview with Business Insider, he said: “There are bigger things to b*tch about.”

“It's shocking how much bandwidth things can take up when there are far more important things going on in the world.”

“As a child of divorce, all I can say is, that's terrible news for those children and that's all you can really say,” he continued.

“It's boring to comment on anything else. People are having a bad time – that's horrible.”

Not long after news landed that Brangelina had come to an end, rumours began swirling that Jennifer Aniston's marriage to Justin Theroux was also on the rocks.

While some media outlets suggested Jennifer was overjoyed by the news her ex had parted ways with Angelina, other outlets began casting aspersions on her own long-term relationship.

And it looks like Jen's husband, Justin, is keen to set the record straight and explain exactly why his and Jennifer's marriage works.

While being interviewed on Entertainment Tonight this week, the actor explained that the formula needed for a happy relationship is far from confusing.

"We appreciate each other's sense of humour, we respect one another and we get along," he told the show's host, Nischelle Turner.

"I know it sounds simple but it's true!"he added in response to reports that Jen and Justin may also be headed for the divorce courts.

The couple, who began dating in 2011, tied the knot last year.

While the rest of the world began seeing Brad Pitt in a different light this week, it looks like Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has had Brad’s card marked since day one.

Back when sales of TeamAniston and TeamJolie T-shirts were going through the roof, everyone appeared to have forgotten that Jen and Angie weren’t the only ones involved in the high-profile love triangle.

Everyone, that is, except Jose Mourniho.

According to Rob Beasley’s upcoming book Jose Mourinho: Up Close and Personal, the football manager was in Beverly Hills just a year after Jen and Brad’s shock split when he clocked the former Friends star making her way through a hotel.

According to Rob: ”I was sitting with Mourinho, who was telling me about his disastrous summer holiday to Brazil.”

“But suddenly Jose's holiday tales were stopped in their tracks. Not only that, but the whole Chelsea contingent fell into an immediate silence,” he wrote.

“Startled eyes stared, jaws dropped and every man there was rendered immobile,” Rob continued. “That's the effect Jennifer Aniston had.”

According to Rob, Jose couldn’t let this one go and had to vent his disbelief over Brad’s decision to leave Jennifer for Angelina.

“F***ing hell, Brad Pitt. What a w**ker! Jennifer Aniston one, Angelina Jolie nil,” Jose reportedly said.

Indeed Jose, indeed.

This week is going from bad to worse for Brad Pitt, but it looks like he might have an unlikely ally in his ex-wife.

Following rumours that the award-winning actor had been accused of child abuse, Jennifer Aniston has reportedly expressed disbelief over the allegations.

According to a source close to the former Friends star, Jennifer has no time for the reports which suggest her ex-husband was physically and verbally abusive towards his children.

"Jen Aniston doesn’t believe for a second that Brad is abusive to those kids," an insider told HollywoodLife.

"It breaks her heart to hear those kinds of accusations being thrown around," the insider continued. "She may not love everything Brad did in their relationship but she knows he’s not capable of doing anything so horrible."

While Jen, no doubt, has her own opinion of her ex following their shock split more than a decade ago, the actress maintains that Brad is not guilty of the reports currently doing the rounds online.

“Brad at his core is a good man. He has flaws like anyone else but hurting his kids isn’t one of them." the insider added.

And it looks like Jennifer may be onto something as the LAPD have recently confirmed that thr rumours are without merit.

LAPD Officer Jenny Houser recently told CNN "LAPD is not handling any report of allegations of child abuse for Mr. Brad Pitt."

As news broke of Brad and Angelina's divorce this week, it was inevitable that Jennifer Aniston's name would be dragged into the furore.

And while the wider public has little issue with various memes purporting to know Jennifer's reaction to the news, they are less impressed with a national newspaper's decision to take the same approach.

Using an image of an ecstatic-looking Jen on their front page yesterday, the New York Post captioned it 'Brangelina: 2004-2016.'

Taking issue with their approach to the matter, Twitter users wasted no time calling the paper out on their front page.

"Why insert Aniston into these people's pain?" wrote one disgruntled social media user. "So cruel! Aniston & her husband are busy building a life of their own."

Offering a background into the snap which the newspaper ran, one Twitter user wrote: "Research it and you'll see that pic was from the day she placed her hand prints at Mann's Chinese Theater in 2011."

While many felt fury on Jennifer's part, another reader of the paper reminded the public that the situation is more than a celebrity tit for tat, writing: "Cover is not clever or funny."

"A family is breaking up. There are children involved. Show some compassion."

Hammering home their point, a fellow Twitter user added: "It's disgusting things like this that make journalism questionable."

We wonder what Jen would make of that front page.
