THIS is why Jen and Justin won’t be heading to the divorce courts

Not long after news landed that Brangelina had come to an end, rumours began swirling that Jennifer Aniston's marriage to Justin Theroux was also on the rocks.

While some media outlets suggested Jennifer was overjoyed by the news her ex had parted ways with Angelina, other outlets began casting aspersions on her own long-term relationship.

And it looks like Jen's husband, Justin, is keen to set the record straight and explain exactly why his and Jennifer's marriage works.

While being interviewed on Entertainment Tonight this week, the actor explained that the formula needed for a happy relationship is far from confusing.

"We appreciate each other's sense of humour, we respect one another and we get along," he told the show's host, Nischelle Turner.

"I know it sounds simple but it's true!"he added in response to reports that Jen and Justin may also be headed for the divorce courts.

The couple, who began dating in 2011, tied the knot last year.
