We're obsessed with Harry Styles, and his new album is currently in the lead to top the charts this week.

The ex One Direction member is continuing his success by snagging a spot on the much loved series Carpool Karaoke with James Cordon.

Harry has just begun a week-long residency performing on The Late Late Show.

'I’ve arranged for Mr. Harry Styles, he’s going to help me get to work on Thursday in a brand new Carpool Karaoke, you don’t want to miss it,' James Corden announced during the show.

The singer is set to be performing a new song from his self-titled album each night.

So, it turns out taking regular power naps can actually make us happier.

In a recent study conducted by the University of Hertfordshire, researchers asked over 1,000 participants to rate their happiness levels and note whether or not they napped throughout the day.

The subjects were then divided into three groups – non-nappers, short nappers and long nappers.

Results found that approximately 67 per cent of short nappers claimed to feel happy, while just 56 per cent of long napper and 60 percent of non-nappers said the same.

According to Red Online, Richard Wiseman, Psychologist Professor at the university said:

"Previous research has shown that naps of under 30 minutes make you more focused, productive and creative, and these new findings suggest the tantalising possibility that you can also become happier by just taking a short nap."

"Similarly longer napping is associated with several health risks and again, this is in line with our results."

Short 'power' naps actually come with a whole host of health benefits.

A separate study carried out by NASA found that 26-minute naps could boost alertness by up to 54 per cent.

We won't argue with those statistics.

Professor Wiseman also stressed the need for workplaces to provide quiet napping areas for their employees.

"A large body of research shows that short naps boost performance. Many highly successful companies, such as Ben & Jerry's and Google, have installed dedicated nap spaces, and employees need to wake up to the upside of napping at work."

Now, there's an idea we can definitely get behind.

The trailer for Netflix's latest female-led series has landed and we are already obsessed.

Inspired by a short-lived show from the 80's, GLOW follows the life of out-of-work actor, Ruth Wilder, played by Alison Brie, who has been thrust into the bizarre world of women's wrestling.

About to give up on her dream, Ruth hears of an audition hoping to find "unconventional women", and decides to give stardom one last try.

The actress, and 12 other Hollywood misfits, land parts as the 'Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling'  and if the trailer is anything to go by, it leads to some hilarious results.

The series is produced by Orange Is the New Black creator Jenji Kohan and Tara Herrmann.

GLOW premieres on Netflix June 23.

It's an 80's nostalgia, girl-powered extravaganza and we can not wait binge-watch.

Earlier this month, over 150,000 people woke up and walked from Darkness Into Light with Pieta House, crossing the finish line in over 150 locations around the globe.

The next step on this journey continues, and Electric Ireland and Pieta House have teamed up to create ‘The Essentials of Empathy’, in order to demonstrate the way we treat each other has a direct impact on individuals’ well-being.

The list was developed with the Clinical Directors of Pieta House, ‘The Essentials of Empathy’ and includes five actionable guidelines, with the aim of friends, colleagues, communities and family members treating each other with more compassion, in order to create a healthier, happier Ireland.

We like the sound of that, indeed.

The Clinical Director of Pieta House, Marguerite Kiely, said: ‘’The Essentials of Empathy are guidelines for people to bring into their daily lives. If everyone takes one thing from this and brings it into their daily life, we’ll be able to live in a happier and healthier Ireland, where people are looking out for each other and show they care.

Darkness Into Light shouldn’t be the end of the journey for those taking part, but rather the beginning for so many who suffer in silence on a daily basis.”

Paul Stapleton, the General Manager of Electric Ireland, commented: “Electric Ireland was delighted to see so many people participate in Darkness into Light. Our partnership with Pieta House is of huge importance to our staff and customers and we would encourage people to consider ‘The Essentials of Empathy’ as another step to ensure people look out for one another in their daily lives.”

The Essentials of Empathy are as follows:

1. Slow Down and Check In: In a fast-paced world, we need to slow down, take a breath and check in with ourselves and those around us.

2. Listen and Connect: Listening is about more than just being present. Put down your phone and connect in real life through daily activities. Go for a walk or have a cup of tea together.

3. Ask Questions, Even The Hard Ones: Sometimes, asking how someone is really feeling can be a tough question, but it’s the best way to start a conversation.

4. Empathise and Be Understanding: Passing remarks can have big impacts. By being more understanding, and seeing things from others’ points of view, we can help to make everyone feel more accepted.

5. Be Generous With Your Kindness: Small acts of kindness can make someone’s day – it is a gift that we can all give, and something we should give whenever and wherever we can.

hands, heart, love

Electric Ireland and Pieta House are calling on Ireland to consider Darkness Into Light as more than just one day.

‘The Essentials of Empathy’ need to live with us as part of every day and can be seen as a driver for a focus on collective responsibility, to ensure everyone  supports and treats each other in the best possible way.

We need to look after ourselves, and those around us.

So, in today's instalment of bizarre Instagram beauty trends that leave us confused, we give you – yellow blush.

The bold look has been popping up all over the site and beauty bloggers have started sharing their own interpretations.

Love it or hate it, people are making a pretty convincing argument in favour of the non-traditional colour.

Brooklyn-based makeup artist Katie Jane Hughes assured Allure that the bright colour is actually a universally flattering shade.

Yellow hues occur naturally in most skin tones, so essentially, the blush is just bringing out what's already there.

Some make-up enthusiasts have teamed the blush with a dramatic eye.

While others have opted for a toned down look.

Looks like my amazing vegan lunch is giving me some after glow, but it's actually just yellow blusher!

So, whether you're looking for a fun festival look, or a simple healthy glow, yellow blush might be the thing missing from your make-up bag.

And we have to admit, we're not hating it.

Ever thought about quitting your job and travelling the world?

Of course you have.

But unlike us, this woman actually did it – and it's as amazing as it sounds.

At just 19-years-old, Aileen Adalid entered the corporate world after graduating from the Philippines', De La Salle University, with a degree in business management.

Her entry level bank job paid just $300 per month, so in a bid to make ends meet, Aileen began freelancing on the side.

The flexible lifestyle of a ''digital nomad'' was looking more and more attractive, and at 21 she quit her job to become a multi-tasking freelancer.

Largely sustained by one stable client, Aileen spent the next year taking on project in graphic design, web design, SEO management, and online marketing.

During this time, her salary doubled and the flexible nature of the work allowed her to travel around the world.

In 2014, Aileen moved to Belgium after her and a friend started their own online health and outdoor accessories business, Adalid Gear.

Her blog, I Am Aileen also began to gain traction among the online travelling community.

Combining all her digital ventures, Aileen now back in her native Philippines, takes home a nifty $5,000 per month, and remains flexible enough to travel at least once a month.

The nomadic freelancer told Business Insider her advice to others looking to work and travel: “Always think long-term.''

''Surely, it's fine to take it easy at the start as you get skills and do temporary work and projects, like volunteering, but at the very core, it's still best to work your way towards a grand goal that will give you a more stable remote profession.”

Aileen's long-term goal is to continue to grow her businesses and to travel to every country in the world.

You can check out her adventures on her blog, I Am Aileen, or on Facebook and Instagram. Warning – you'll be sick with envy.

It seems as though everywhere we look, there is a new colourful drink on the market – packed full of sugary goodness.

The Internet's latest offering, however, comes in the form of a mermaid latte, and it is actually designed to be really nutritious.

“We wanted to make a drink that was empowering, fortifying, and nurturing for women’s health on a hormonal, emotional, and spiritual level," explained the creator of the drink, Madeleine Murphy, who owns The End cafe in New York.

"So we combined all the magical benefits of the marine that happen to be really great for women.”

What's in it, you ask? Well, the ingredients of this mer-tastic beverage include: marine collagen, schizandra berry, strawberry, dragonfruit, e3 live blue majik algae, kelp flakes, golden flax crumble, and vegan sprinkles.

All sounds great, right? But you're probably wondering what exactly these things do?

Weekend vibes… shout out to all the strong and empowered merbabes out there who inspire us daily. Keep making waves  @liz01

According to the beautiful people at Well and Good "The iodine in the kelp flakes is said to be helpful for women dealing with fatigue or thyroid problems, while the schizandra berry’s properties help to lower stress levels and boost energy at the same time."

And obviously we know that collagen is loaded with beauty benefits – so drink up, ladies.

The low-key couple have been together for 14 years, however, their relationship was only made public in 2010.

Since then, the actor hasn't been shy about declaring his love for his partner.

Just last year, he dedicated an Instagram post to his now-husband, calling him ''the best thing that ever happened to me, no contest.''

The couple's decision to tie the knot may come as a bit of a surprise considering Jim previously revealed he wasn't that interested in the tradition.

Appearing on The View in 2014, the sitcom star said: “You know, what’s very funny to me, I’m 42 now, and so much of my adult life, that wasn’t really a possibility or whatever and I have grown more interested in the idea and certainly supportive of the notion.''

“If my getting married would help the notion in general, even that might be enough to make me want to do it. My personal interest in that has never been that high.”

Nevertheless, congratulations are in order for the newly weds!

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past 48 hours, you will likely be aware that a cyber attack crippled thousands of computer systems across the world from last Friday onwards.

But what exactly is the malware known as WannaCry all about?

So, WannaCry is a particularly heinous form of ransomware which encrypts files on a computer rending them inaccessible, and ultimately holds the owner to ransom by only unlocking the files after the user pays a ransom in Bitcoin.

Since last Friday, the malware hit more than 200,000 machines in 150 countries, including multiple large organisations lke the NHS in the UK, the National Petroleum Corporation in China and Renault factories in France.

While report circulated that the attack had come to an end after a 'kill switch' was triggered on Saturday, this is not the case.

While the switch did, indeed, slow the attack down, researchers confirmed that a new version of the malware had not been affected by the triggering of the switch.

"It's this constant battle," said Ryan O'Leary, vice president of WhiteHat Security's threat research centre. "The bad guys are always one step ahead."

Fortune advises the public to exercise extreme caution when opening emails, and recommends that those who use older versions of Windows should install Microsoft's new security update.

A 10-year-old girl, who became pregnant after enduring multiple rapes at the hands of her stepfather, is having her case discussed among a panel of doctors in India today.

The child, whose is due to give birth in four months, has found herself at the centre of a legal 'grey area' as Indian law does not allow terminations after 20 weeks unless medical professionals believe the mother's life is in danger.

With the child's family demanding permission for a termination, doctors from the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences are meeting today to discuss the request.

It is understood the case only came to light last week after the child's mother suspected her daughter may be pregnant, and brought her to a doctor.

According to the BBC, the child subsequently revealed she had been raped by her stepfather while her mother was at work and warned against confiding in anyone.

The child's stepfather was arrested and is being detained pending a full police investigation.

It has been established that India's Supreme Court has received several petitions from rape victims in recent months requesting terminations and each case has been referred to a panel of medical experts.

Last week, Tánaiste Frances Fitzgerald, informed her party that she is making it a criminal offence to photograph or film up a woman’s skirt without her express consent.

According to The Irish Times, the move will coincide with the expansion of the definition of ‘revenge porn’ and seeks to deal more effectively with an act known as ‘upskirting’ in addition to the publication of voyeuristic material.

Commenting on the legislative change, an Tánaiste said: “It is important that we ensure our laws can deal effectively with phenomena such as so-called revenge pornography and the publication of voyeuristic material without consent, as recommended by the Law Reform Commission’s report.”

The new legislation will also see the creation of other criminal offences which ‘fall short of the intentional and egregious activity covered by the first offence, and covers the non-consensual taking and distribution of intimate images by any means of communication where this causes harm to that person but without any necessary intent to cause harm.’

The move comes after a report published last September highlighted shortcomings within Irish legislation to protect against revenge porn.

It is understood that the new and extended offences will carry the maximum penalties of a class A fine – currently a fine not exceeding €5,000, and/or up to 12 months’ imprisonment –  and on conviction on indictment an unlimited fine and/or up to seven years’ imprisonment.

Reinforcing the importance of the new legislation, Ms Fitzgerald said: “These acts can cause serious and lasting harm, particularly to young people.”

The final Bill is due to be published shortly.
