So, unless you've been living under some kind of WiFi-proof rock, you'll know all about the makeup empire that is Kylie Cosmetics.

The Jenner sister came crashing onto the beauty scene back in 2016 and has watched her brand grow to astronomical heights ever since.

Best known for her signature lip kits, the 19-year-old has since released her own line of eyeshadows, eyeliners, highlighters and blushes.

Kylie always seems to have something in the pipeline, which is why it came as no surprise yesterday when she took to Instagram to announce her next drop – The Vacation Edition.

The complete set includes a new Kyshadow palette, a Send Me More Nudes lip kit and a summer lip kit in June Bug – a vibrant purple shade unlike anything currently available on the online store.

The set also comes with the Skinny Dip bronzer/highlighter face duo, three Ultra Glow loose highlighters, the Wet Set dry highlighter and a Super Glitter Gloss.

Last month, Cara Delevingne stepped out on the Met Gala red carpet sporting a futuristic shaved head, decorated with silver paint and jewels.

Of course, Cara could rock any look, but one little girl might just be giving the actress a run for her money.

Meet eight-year-old Brooklyn. She is currently fighting her second Wilm's tumour – a type of kidney cancer that typically occurs in children.

As a little treat, Glamsquad Academy gave Brooklyn an incredible makeover, turning her into a mini Cara – and she looks absolutely magical.

“This little lady is fighting cancer for the second time and she's doing it with gusto!,” they wrote.

“Well done everyone for raising awareness for this little cracker! ‘If you can't have hair, have diamonds instead!’

“Brave little girl (she's really funny too).”

Cara was so impressed with Brooklyn's transformation that she even reposted the pictures to her own Instagram.

We couldn't agree more Cara.

You're either a person who sets goals, or you're not.

Many of us have been writing out lists of goals since we were in school, going from our Junior Cert results to Leaving Cert points, then college aspirations and work objectives.

Sometimes our goals just don't work out, and that's OK. Everybody fails at some point – but that doesn't mean you should throw your list of dreams away.

Setting goals helps you map out your road to success. And while being in your twenties is still just a starting point to the fab life you have ahead of you – it's good to create objectives of what you want to achieve.

So, if you feel like you're losing your way, or just want to set a clear road for your future, here are a few tips for setting goals in your twenties:

Record and track

Having a list of goals means you have a record of what you have already achieved and where you want to go next.

They're a great way of tracking progress in both your personal and professional life. However, don't stress if six months down the line you've barely made a dent in your list.

Many goals don't happen the way you want them to; so perhaps you need to re-think your list and put less pressure on yourself.

businessman, client, coaching

Celebrate

Whether you've reached a small or major milestone, celebrate every single one.

It's important to enjoy the little wins, so whether you want to have a glass of champagne when you get home from work or fancy a trip to town with your BFFs, reward yourself along the way.

You crossed something off your list, so fair play to you.

Short vs. long term goals

In your twenties, it's hard to know where you'll be in five years time. Many people set out on one path and then end up running down another.

Short term goals are easier to set, but it's important to have a bigger picture in mind.

The first step is to set goals annually and then monthly, so you have a clear picture every step of the way. And remember, it's always OK to revise!

Working in a group

Ask a mentor

If you don't know where to start, or are confused about where you want to be, ask for help.

Having a career mentor is totally invaluable. So, whether it's a manager you look up to, a past peer, or your mum, it's a good idea to sit down and ask them to convey their thoughts.

Here are some questions to think about when setting your goals:

  • Where are you now? (Your starting off point)

  • Where do you want to be?

  • What have you achieved in the past year/month?

  • What are your strengths/weaknesses?

  • Can you improve on your weaknesses?

  • Where does your manager/peer think you can be in one year's time?

Be patient

It can be hard to be patient when you have a clear picture of where you want to be – but Rome wasn't built in a day, ladies.

Goals aren't set in stone; they will morph and change as the months and years go on. So, don't fret if you didn't get that promotion or your dream job. It will all work out.

Stay strong and be confident in yourself. Update your goals as your journey evolves and you'll be reaching them in no time.

The Smiler rollercoaster in Alton Towers has been evacuated due to a safety concern.

According to a spokesperson for the park, the ride was stopped following a problem with a safety harness.

The Smiler was closed for 30 minutes so engineers could reboot the computer system responsible for monitoring the safety sensors.

"At 10.15am, an assisted exit took place in the station when a guest, at the end of their ride, held their harness down during the routine harness release, triggering our sensors," the spokesperson said.

"The ride then needed to be reset as required by our operating processes and is now re-open."

This comes after an awful accident in 2015 where two teenage girls lost a leg each and 14 others were injured after safety failings.

If you needed a musical pick-me-up of a Monday, then look no further, ladies.

Word has just landed that two of our favourite acts of the noughties are about to take on two venues in the capital, and we're absolutely pumped.

Hot in Herre rapper, Nelly, will be playing Vicar Street on November 20 while UK band, The Kooks, will be taking to the stage in Dublin's Olympia theatre in January 2018.

And it has been confirmed that tickets for both these gigs will be going on sale on Friday June 16 at 9am.

Ladies, it's time to bring your A-game.

Remember a few months back, when Instagram was going mad for marbled nail art? Well, we have reached the next level.

A U.S based hair stylist has taken inspiration from the marble nail trend, and has turned it into her signature technique.

Over the past few years, Ash Fortis has perfected the art of hair marbling, and it is proving to be popular with Instagram users.

When you step outside of your comfort zone your stepping into your greatness. Tag someone who inspires you!!! #hairmarbling

A post shared by AshFortis Va Beach Hairstylist (@xostylistxo) on

Ash spoke to the gorgeous ladies at Allure, explaining that "nail art is a huge influence of mine, so I thought, How can I bring it to hair?"

A swirly technique is used to achieve a multicoloured marble-like finish that looks completely different from the other rainbow-hair looks all over social media.

According to Allure, Ash "applies a layer of shaving cream onto foam mesh strips called Embee Meche. Then she drops different complementary colours of vibrant hair dye on top.

"Next, she wields the back of her colour brush to trace figure-eight shapes into the the shaving cream with the dyes. This creates the swirled design. After that, she presses the design onto a small section of platinum-blonde hair and places a clear Embee Meche on top."

Not something we could attempt at home, so.

Anyway, we've done a round up of some of the coolest marble-hair looks online, so get ready to feel inspired.

Last week, DublinTown announced the launch of its brand new website, UniqueToDublin.ie – a site which celebrates all the things that make Ireland's capital city a truly unique place to live, work and visit.

The site is aimed at people who wish to discover the events, people and places that make Dublin such a vibrant destination.

It offers a fresh guide to some of the city's lesser known spots meaning it is perfect for both Dubliners and visitors alike.

A selection of key influencers and familiar faces behind well-known Dublin institutions also lent their support to the campaign by appearing in a series of videos and revealing what they feel makes Dublin unique – James Patrice, 98FM’s Big Breakfast Presenters Cooper and Luke, Thomas Smith of Grogans and Paul Byrne of BodyByrne Fitness to name just a few.

Richard Guiney, Chief Executive Officer of DublinTown commented: “Dublin is a truly unique city without parrellel anywhere else in the world.  I love getting out meeting with the owner managers of some of the most interesting and diverse stores, restaurants, bars and cafes."

"We have so much to be proud of in Dublin but we sometimes take our great characters and attractions for granted. We invite Dubliners and our visitors to rediscover this great city.

“Through UniqueToDublin.ie, we want to shout from the rooftops about everything that makes our city so special and we hope that you will join us in spreading the word by sharing your favourite spots with #UniqueToDublin.”

So, if you've ever camped at a music festival you'll be familiar with the farcical struggle of trying to find your tent at 3:00am.

You try your best to remember the directions you made up only hours ago, but alas, the sea of green and blue nylon is just too vast.

Left at the green gazebo, right at the group of lads who haven't ventured into the arena all weekend, and straight on till morning.

Well, this problem may well be a thing of the past.

Tent Finder is a new app that lets you mark where you pitch your tent using GPS and save the location as a pin on your phone map.

The genius app was created by outdoors company Boutique Camping, and also lets you pin other handy locations such as your mate's tent, the cleanest toilets and your favourite ice-cream stall.

It also includes a compass, which would probably be handy for those of you who actually know what to do with a compass (not us though).

Tent Finder is only available for iPhone at the moment, but it is hoped that the company will develop an Android version in the near.

Following the attack on London Bridge earlier this month, a group of Muslims have been handing out roses with messages of love and peace at the scene of the incident.

Eight people were killed and 48 injured after three attackers mowed down crowds and stabbed passersby.

The 1000 Roses London initiative was organised by a group of London-based Muslims in an effort to spread “love, solidarity and appreciation”, in the aftermath of the attack on England's capital city.

Their message said: “This is the place, the time, the moment to take the pen and write narratives of love and solidarity – not of hate and division.

“We won’t let London Bridge fall down nor any bridge upon which the communities of this great city and nation are built.”

The campaign initially set out to hand out just 1,000 roses, however, due to the overwhelming response, both online and from the public, that number was then tripled to 3,000.

Meanwhile, the British Red Cross launched an initiative to encourage people to visit bars and restaurants in the London Bridge area on Saturday night – exactly one week after the attack.

A total of seven men are being held in custody under terror laws following the incident on June 3.

Housework is a right pain in the proverbial, we know.

In fact, most people would rather spend their time doing anything else, but there are some tasks which many of us inexplicably enjoy.

From running a sponge over stained glass to seeing the clean track your vacuum makes across a crumb-filled rug, we like what we like and we won’t apologise for it.

And here are just 6 which bring us untold satisfaction…

Cleaning the bath

OK, it might not do wonders for our backs, but there's something hugely satisfying about seeing layers of fake tan and remnants of sudsy shower gel make their way down the drain, right?

There's just something about a clean bath and shower area that makes you re-evalute everything.

Vacuuming a rug

Some people love nothing more than creating a clean track through a dust-laden floor, and while we're right there with them, what we don't love is having to stretch the cable as far as possible and hope against hope it doesn't snap.

So, if you know that anguish all too well and vacuuming is your go-to household chore, you need a Dyson V8 cord-free machine in your life.

Not only do they clean floors, they quickly transform between stick and handheld mode to clean high, low and everywhere in between. Oh, the satisfaction!

Cleaning the oven

There's a reason so many people are fascinated by snaps of an oven before and after a thorough cleaning, and that's because it's like a brand-new machine.

Yes, it requires a lot of elbow grease, and you do spend more time than you anticipate on your hunkers, but hell is that finished product so worth it.

Just think of the delicious baking you can do in that bad boy now…

Cleaning out the fridge

Ridding your fridge of old produce and making room for new delicious items is a sure-fire way to make you feel on top of things.

Yes, you're being responsible and yes your mam would definitely be proud, but deep down you know that the task basically allows for a much-needed grocery spree, and you're only dying for a few treats.

Emptying the bins

Ok, we admit it, the task itself is pretty grim.

But tell us anyone who doesn't feel like they can take on anything after emptying every bin in the house, tying those bags tight and depositing them in the wheelie bin.

The sense of achievement, the sense of accomplishment and the sense of smugness negates any drop of bin juice that may have landed on your foot.

A young girl who became suicidal after falling pregnant was sectioned under the Mental Health Act because her psychiatrist told her abortion was “not the solution.”

According to The Irish Times, this case is just one of 22 covered by the Child Care Law Reporting Project, published this morning.

When this particular case came before the courts last year, an order was made to detain the girl after her psychiatrist said that while she was at the risk of self-harm as a result of the pregnancy, “this could be managed by treatment and that termination of pregnancy was not the solution for all the child’s problems at this stage.”

However, a few day later, the girl was assessed by a second psychiatrist who deemed her to be depressed with “no evidence of a psychological disorder.”

As the girl did not display signs of mental illness, she could not be detained under the Mental Health Act.

The second psychiatrist also reported that the girl in question had “very strong views” as to why she wanted to terminate the pregnancy.

Her treating adolescent psychiatrist also spoke to the court, revealing that although the young girl was angry and upset, she did not suffer from an acute mental disorder and therefore could not be detained.

He also said that both she and her mother believed they were being transferred to Dublin for a termination before realising that she was being admitted to a mental health unit.

The girl was later discharged from the unit.
