This is making us so hungry.

Box Burger is on the look out for people to take part in a "burger panel," and basically want you to sit back, relax and eat all the burgers you can handle.

A post shared by Box Burger (@boxburgerbray) on

The burger joint needs six people to take on the role of "Burger Taster" this Thursday in Eatyard from 7.30pm.

The Facebook ad reads, "The work is gonna be hard, it's gonna be heavy and it's NOT for the 'I'll wrap this up and keep it for dinner later' faint-hearted."

So, if you fancy being a part of this delish burger panel, head over to Box Burger's Facebook page to enter.

The winner will be announced at noon on Wednesday (June 21). Good luck!

Life is sometimes stranger than fiction, and this is definitely one of those times.

According to emerging reports, an animal, which has been compared to a 'panther', has been recently spotted roaming a town in Northern Ireland.

The large black cat became the subject of a PSNI Newry & Mourne Facebook post when they warned members of the public to contact police if they happened upon it.

In a post which has been shared hundreds of times since its upload at the weekend, the PSNI wrote: "On 16th June 2017 at 11am Police received a report of what has been described as a large black cat, possibly a panther, sighted in the Moneymore Road area of Newry."

"If you do see an animal matching this description can you contact Police immediately and reference serial number 381 16/06/17. DO NOT APPROACH!"

Facebook users wasted no time tagging friends and family following the upload of the post at the weekend.

"Mr Police man, is this a p*** take altogether? I did ask the question last night but it seems to have got lost in others taking the p***, Is it safe to leave the kids in the garden?"

And we'll just leave it there…

Two women who were at risk of suicide were denied abortions in Ireland.

Both women had tried to commit suicide more than once, and sought to have legal abortions.

The women were immigrants who would have needed a Visa to travel to the UK to procure a termination, according to the Abortion Support Network

'Both of these women were basically told that they weren't suicidal enough,' Mara Clarke, the founder of the Abortion Support Network charity, told The Times.

'One woman was refused her visa to travel for an abortion and attempted suicide for the third time,' she said.

After the third attempt, the woman was granted a termination.

'The termination was carried out much later than it should have been because of the delay,' she said.

In response to the revelations, Minister for Health Simon Harris reportedly said: 'This is an issue that, as a nation, we now need to deal with definitively.'

The Abortion Support Network provides financial assistance and accommodation to women forced to travel fom the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man to access abortion services.

NASA astronomers have found 219 new planets just beyond our solar system, and ten of them could very well support life.

The researchers found the planet candidates in the final batch of NASA's Kepler Space Telescope observations of 200,000 sample stars in the constellation called Cygnus.

The ten newly discovered Earth-like planets are sufficiently distanced from their stars (like our sun) for water to be able to exist on them, which scientists believe is the key to forming life.

Kepler scientist, Mario Perez said, "An important question for us is, 'Are we alone?' Maybe Kepler today is telling us indirectly that we are not alone."

The Kepler telescope was launched in 2009 in the hopes to find more Earth-like planets, and it looks like it may have succeeded.

Telescope surveys like this one have, to date, found the existence of nearly 3,500 planets.

The woman at the centre of a rape trial has spoken of her elation over the sentencing off her rapist, 28-year-old Keith Hearne of Allenton Drive, Tallaght.

Dominique Meehan, who waived her right to anonymity, spoke to The Independent following Hearne's conviction and sentencing yesterday, saying that the harrowing ordeal has utterly changed her life.

Dominique was volunteering at the ArcadeCon gaming convention at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Blanchardstown on July 4, 2015 when she was attacked by Hearne.

The court heard that the defendant falsely imprisoned Ms Meehan in a meeting room and threatened to break her neck, only stopping the attack when another conference worker entered the room.

"This is a massive weight off my shoulders. I don't think I've ever been so close to crying, but for a good reason. I'm ecstatic," Ms Meehan said outside court.

"The reason I'm waving my anonymity isn't for popularity, it's for people to know that coming forward to say you were raped is a good thing and you can do it."

Revealing the extent of her trauma,. Ms Meehan explained that the attack two years ago has left her in a heightened sense of anxiety.

"My whole life has been impacted. There is no ifs, buts and ands about it, nothing in my life is the same any more."

"I have to treat every day like someone is going to rape me. I am constantly on alert," she added.

The courtroom erupted in applause yesterday as Hearne was convicted and sentenced.

Left-handed people don't have it easy.

From the dreaded pencil smudges they lived with in primary school to the awkward high-fives they're forced to endure, it's not easy being a leftie.

But perhaps the fact they're smarter – mathematically speaking –  than right-handed folk may cushion the blow somewhat, right?

According to a research put forth by IFL Science, the right side of a left-handed individual's brain is larger which means their spatial awareness and mental representation of objects is pretty damn good.

Further to this, they have bigger corpus callosums – the area of the brain responsible for connecting the two brain hemispheres.

And what does this mean exactly? Well, it means they are generally capable of processing information at a much faster pace than their right-handed peers.

With the help of 2,300 students, researchers conducted a number of experiments and ultimately concluded that when it comes to mathematical problem-solving, left-handed people performed better than right-handed.

But if you're a right-handed person and feeling pretty put out right now, fear not. The folk behind the research are at pains to stress that only one-third of people with an overly developed right side of the brain are left-handed

This means that there are lots of right-handed people with a similar brain function, so you know, chin up.

We saw our fair share of celebs post throwback pictures for Father's Day yesterday, and Lucy Hale was no different.

The Pretty Little Liars star posted a gorgeous snap of her and her dad, standing side by side and beaming into the camera.

Lucy captioned the picture, "You thought me to have soul. I love you daddy," yet it's what she said in the comments section that really irked her fans.

You taught me to have soul. I love you daddy.

A post shared by Lucy Hale (@lucyhale) on

Directed towards her hair stylist, Scotty Cunha, Lucy wrote, "ugh I was so fat," and many of her followers are outraged.

Lucy has some young followers due to her role on PLL, so this message could be very problematic to them.

One followers commented, saying: "I know you've got the right to say that, but just imagine what it's like for your fans who are a little bit bigger or struggling with their body to hear that from their idol who's obviously never been fat."

While everyone has body insecurities, perhaps this could be a wake-up call for people in the public eye to be more careful with the words they use.

Even though the sun is beaming in Ireland, many of us are heading away on summer holidays.

Now, we've already heard some pretty rotten facts about flying, but this latest one has made us feel totally gross.

Why? Because we basically have to use it every time we fly.

According to flight attendants, tray tables carry a serious amount of germs.

Hello Giggles reports that a recent experiment by TravelMath found tray tables to be the dirtiest part of not only a plane, but the airports, too.

A microbiologist collected 26 samples from four flights and five airports and found that tray tables have 2,155 colony-forming bits of bacteria living on them.

While nothing will ever turn us off flying away on holidays, we think we might bring some disinfecting wipes with us on our next plane journey.
