We all love a sugar-filled Starbucks every now and again, and can probably name everything on the menu at this stage.

However, the thing we didn't know was where the name Starbucks originated from.

It's actually quite an unusual story, and came from the book Moby Dick.

According to former Starbucks' CEO Howard Schultz, who has just written a book Pour Your Heart Into It: How Starbucks Built a Company One Cup at a Time, the name derives from the Herman Melville novel.

The founders of the chain, Gordon Bowker, a writer and Zev Siegl, a history teacher, loved the book so much, they first planned on calling the coffee shop after the ship in the book, Pequod.

When that didn't stick, Gordon's creative director, Terry Heckler, decided to go ahead and change the name to Starbucks, after the first mate in the book called Starbuck.

In an interview in 2008, Gordon said that Terry loved names that began with 'St.' and after they found something on a mysterious map, the name was set in stone.

"Somebody somehow came up with an old mining map of the Cascades and Mount Rainier, and there was an old mining town called Starbo.

"As soon as I saw Starbo, I, of course, jumped to Pequod’s first mate [named Starbuck] in Moby Dick."

And now all we can think of is getting a Caramel Macchiato…

One lucky mother randomly bumped into Barack Obama in an airport this week, and we are just dying over the photos.

Jolene Jackinsky was at Anchorage International Airport on Monday, in a waiting area for private flights when she saw a man who looked like Obama.

Jolene told Associated Press, "As I got closer, I thought: Oh my God, it is Obama."

The former president then came up to Jolene and her six-month-old baby, Giselle, and said, "Who is this pretty girl?"

Giselle's father then approached, and Obama joked, "I'm taking your baby!

"It was only five minutes but it was a moment that will last forever.

"I think it's unreal and pretty exciting that I get to have a picture with him and my baby," she said.

"Not a lot of people get to meet him."

Oh, Barack.

"In all honesty, we talk all the time, we’ve been talking."

"I didn’t think it would be that big of a deal. I did not realise that it was going to have such a viral affect. That’s my bro, you know?

"It’s kind of one of those things were you’re fighting with him on the playground, but if someone else says something, you’re like — 'Hey, I can say that but you can’t!'"

Drake even went so far to say that he would still be up for a Drake and Josh reunion if it was "done the right way."

So, it seems like everything is well and good!

As many of us were basking in the glory of Coldplay last night, U2 were putting on a pretty sweet performance, too.

The band invited 50 London firefighters who fought in the Grenfell Tower blaze to watch them perform live in a private concert, which doubled as a rehearsal.

In a near-empty stadium, the firefighters watched U2 get ready for their Twickenham gig, and some took to Twitter to share their admiration for the band:

Bono and the lads played seven songs in total for the firefighters and their families.

Fair play, lads.

In unexpected news today, flights at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York had to be delayed to make way for turtles.

As it's nesting season, the turtles were migrating across the airport's runway. It is reported that around 40 Diamondback Terrapins had to be removed, which took up to two hours.

An JFK airport authority spokeswomen said that some planes were "briefly stuck in queue."

And now, one name in the line up has finally been dropped, and we have to say, we like it a lot.

According to That Hashtag Show, Ryan Gosling has been named to take on the role of the sweet factory owner.

After his performance in La La Land, we think he'd be a perfect fit for the crazy, yet lovable, character.

Even though the storyline to the prequel has not been confirmed, it has been reported that it will surround the life of a young Willy Wonka, and how he became friends with the Oompa Loompas during one of his early adventures.

And if you saw the launch of the restaurant's new menu during the week, then you'll know that she certainly enjoyed some good food.
