Tiffany Watson has come under major fire for body shaming her Made In Chelsea co-star.

The Ibiza series of the show is currently on screens, and in the series, Tiff and boyfriend Sam Thompson are on a break.

Sam hooks up with newcomer Mimi Blanchard, prompting Tiffany to brand her a 'dumpling' when she finds out.

A post shared by Tiffany Watson (@tiffanyc_watson) on

'I came out here and he's in a relationship with a f****** dumpling,' Tiffany spits in a rage, after being informed of Mimi and Sam's hook up.

Mimi then took to Instagram to share a video response to Tiffany's comment, and highlighted how it's truly unfair to comment on someone elses body.

'I wanted to make this video in light of tonight's episode,' she said in the snap.

'I want to talk about body-shaming and why you should never do it. Because what you say to somebody might have an effect on them more than you think.'

'If I got a comment like I did in tonight's episode five years ago, it would've affected me in a different way.'

'I would have cried all day about it. I am so happy in the body I am in.'

'Although I don't look like a 6-foot model, I don't have to look like everybody else. The beauty in being you is beauty in your uniqueness.'

'What someone says about you says more about them,' she concluded.

In the caption on the video, Mimi said: 'I really wanted to use this platform of mine to shine some light on body shaming. I know a lot of you following me are young girls.. and that is exactly why I filmed this video.'

'Sometimes when you're feeling insecure it's easy to talk negatively about others, or "tease" others, to make yourself feel better. I'm sure we've all done it in our weakest moments!'

'But teasing somebody (especially knowing they will hear what you say) about their height, weight & appearance is really messed up. You don't know how your words can effect someone else.'

'Be the bigger person, and also work on yourself enough to not let comments from unimportant people effect you massively.'

'I know it's tough, but you always have a decision to either reject or allow someone's words to affect you. You're YOU and that is your power.'

Tiff received a huge amount of backlash after the episode aired, as fans of MIC were outraged at her comments.

The reality TV star then reached out to fans via Twitter to explain herself.

'Definitely do not agree with or condone body shaming but in the heat of the moment we all say things out of anger,' she tweeted.

This may (or may not) come as a surprise to you all, but we siriusly LOVE Harry Potter.

Everything about it – from the magical spells and classes, to the brilliant characters and mystical creatures (big up – Aragog RIP).

Anyway, it would seem as though everywhere we turn, there is a new magical wizard-inspired creation, from cosmetics to pyjamas, and everything in between.

Our latest discovery in thw wonderful world of Harry Potter? Sorting Hat CANDLES.

Once the candle, which is made out of soy wax, is lit, it burns down to reveal your house.

*not Slytherin, not Slytherin*

The candles are available online, via Crafty Witches Decor's Etsy shop – and are so reasonably priced (just over a tenner).

This candle smells like you're heading to Hogwarts in autumn. Apples, pears, mandarin, peaches, raspberries and tree bark are woven into dried leaves with notes of cinnamon stick, cloves and vanilla pods.

Strong, intoxicating, amazing (just like Cedric Diggory – also RIP).

Okay, so we are very aware that there are still 124 days until Christmas, but that doesn't mean we can't plan ahead.

Last year, the Gin Foundry made all our dreams come through with their gin advent calendar, and this year promises to be no different.

According to Good Housekeeping, the calendar will be back and better than ever this year, and will even include a Christmas tree flavour gin.

'Each year, we select 24 Gins that provide a snapshot of the category’s depth, diversity and global reach,' reads the product description.

'We scour countries in search of the very best, the most unusual, the most progressive and – of utmost importance – the most sublimely delicious gins.'

'The content of the Ginvent calendars is carefully curated and painstakingly considered so that all styles of gins are included, from London Dry to Old Tom, to Navy strength, Fruit infused and so on…'

Am, we'll take one for every month of the year, thanks.

But you'll have to hold your horses (or reindeer) for the time being, as there has been no confirmed date of the return, so you'll have to keep your eyes and ears peeled for the re-launch.

They were available for pre-order in September from Gin Kiosk last year, so hopefully we can get our paws on one ASAP.

Okay, not to throw shade, but does anyone remember the days when skirts over jeans was a trend?

It was by far one of the most questionable looks of the 00s, and now, ASOS is trying to bring it back, but with a nod to another nostalgic 00s look.

If you remember skirts over jeans, you will definitely remember Britney and Justin's iconic double-denim red carpet ensembles from the 2001 AMAs.

Liquor N Poker Denim Skirt over Jeans with Pearl Detail €56.99

Well, ASOS is paying homage to both of these looks with one of their new-in items.

The Liquor N Poker Denim Skirt over Jeans with Pearl Detail is a hybrid of the two, as the item boasts a shredded, asymmetrical denim skirt over a pair of straight-leg jeans (thank god they weren't bootcut)

The piece of frankenfashion has tried to redeem itself with a new season smattering of pearls, but we're noy buying it. Literally.

Oh, and to top it all off – they're low rise.

This is clearly another one of those 'WTF' fashion items, up there with those Topshop plastic jeans and that ASOS sausage necklace.

Women in the public eye face a huge amount of pressure to prescribe to standardised beauty ideals, and being slim is often one of them.

Gemma Arterton has shed some light on the horrific pressure she has felt in the film industry.

The actress has claimed that she was forced to lose weight by film bosses after they sent her a live-in personal trainer who would film her exercising as evidence for the producers.

'There was one film that I was on and we were out in Morocco and a couple of weeks went past and they literally were like “We need a personal trainer – stat,' she told The Guilty Feminist podcast in June.

‘And they flew someone out overnight that gave up their whole life to be with me and be my personal trainer.'

'They’d measure me and they’d call up the personal trainer at like nine and night going: “Is she in the gym? And if she isn’t, why isn’t she in the gym?' she continued.

‘And then they’d get me in the gym and film me in the gym and they’d have to know that I was there.'

She also told The Guilty Feminist panel how a producer attempted to shame her out of eating healthy snacks while filming.

'There was one day when I went to get some snacks, they have like snacks on set, and I went to get some apricots, some dried apricots, and the man went, this big, fat, obese producer went: “I hope you’re not going to eat that.'

Thankfully, Gemma paid him no heed, saying: 'I’m going to eat about all twenty, then I’m going to go home and eat all the stuff in the mini bar and then I’m going to vomit it all up.'

So, if there's one thing we can all agree on it's that summer 2017 was a bit of a flop.

Sure, we got a few weeks of sunshine at the end of June, but other than that, the weather has been far from perfect for this time of year – and it doesn't look like it's going to get better any time soon.

With shorter evenings and plummeting temperatures already on the way, it's time to say farewell to farmer's tan and ice-cream cones and hello to seasonal lattés and Saturday night television.

Here are seven telltale signs that Ireland's summer is well and truly on its way out.

1. The Rose of Tralee

Dáithí Ó Sé, questionable talents and more Newbridge Silverware than can fit in your Nana's 'good' press? Yeah, Autumn is definitely on its way.

2. Your house is full of clothes horses

It's far from drying weather out there.

3. You've already started planning your Halloween costume

You've got every intention of making this the best Halloween ever, but deep down you now the day will come and you'll end up painting whiskers on your face with liquid eyeliner (again).

4. Distinct lack of Spanish students in Dublin city centre

Grafton Street is no longer a vast labyrinth of backpacks and teenagers.

5. Ads for the X Factor are already on TV

Nothing signifies the season ahead quite like a montage of Louis Walsh's best bits.

6. You're completely broke

All that summer fun didn't come cheap you know.

7. The countdown to Christmas begins

125 days and counting, ladies (sorry).

There has been plenty of news surrounding the recent protests in Charlottesville, as white nationalist groups protested the potential removal of monuments honouring Confederate generals.

Now, Tuam could be the next site at which a confederate statue could be removed.

A plaque honouring the life of Confederate General Richard Dowling, a Tuam native who fought in the Civil War on the side of the Confederates.

The plaque stands under an engraving of the General's face, and honours his life and death.

Tuam locals have called on the County Council to remove the plaque.

'It was put up in 1998,' local Independent Councillor Shaun Cunniffe told Breaking News.

'The focus at the time from the Tuam Town Council was really on the enormous effect that this guy had, Dick Dowling, in Houston – there was streets named after him, parks named after him.'

'Unfortunately, I think they overlooked the fact that he was on the side of the American Civil War that wanted to uphold slavery.'

This news comes after a man was reportedly arrested in Houston after attempting to blow up a statue of Richard Dowling in Hermann Park, Houston, according to the Houston Chronicle.

The Dublin housing crisis has reached a peak, with a report from Daft.ie today showing that rent in the capital has increased to an average of €1700 per month.

Students are currently pouring into Dublin from all over Ireland, embarking on another year in further education, and simultaneously needing somewhere to rent while doing it.

A new report released by the Union of Students in Ireland found that 36 per cent of students needed one to three months to find their accommodation, with one in five students starting their search for accommodation in August.

The report also found that some students resort to sleeping in cars or on floors due to lack of affordable housing.

1 in 5 students also experienced unexpected rent increases during college.

USI is urging students who have accepted their CAO offers to start looking for accommodation immediately, in order to beat the rush to secure bed spaces ahead of college.

58 per cent of students declared the monthly cost of accommodation as being €251-500. Half of those asked have an income not exceeding €500 a month.

The Union say the cost of accommodation is proving difficult for students, and the cost of rent is leaving no money for food, travel or books.

'The issue of housing permeates across all groups of our society. In recent years, the shortage in student accommodation has forced students, families and professionals to race for accommodation, and compete for somewhere to live,' said USI President Michael Kerrigan.

'In many instances, this competition has pushed students to take accommodation that exists outside of their price range, or to drop out of college.'

'More than 25,000 students have already accepted their college places yesterday from the CAO.'

'There is still a shortage of accommodation, and students are being crammed into small spaces, with harsh living conditions and horror stories of the state of living.'

Wednesday Montague, an IADT student, travels up to eight hours a day to attend college due to the lack of housing.

'I'm from Offaly and I travel 4 hours to college and 4 hours back every day, all because of unaffordable accommodation.'

'The excessive travel and stress from missing college because of travel had put me in the hospital. The shortage exists, but cost is a factor too.'

A number of students said that they sleep in friends' houses on couches or floors.

Others said they sleep in their cars, and two students said they sleep on the streets.

As Hollywood A-listers go, Chrissy Teigen is an open book.

From sharing photos of her stretchmarks to opening up about her struggle with postnatal depression, the model, presenter and bestselling author has always tried to be as transparent as possible with her legions of fans and followers.

And if a recent interview with Cosmopolitan is anything to go by, Chrissy no longer wants to conceal the fact she has, in the past, struggled with alcohol consumption.

A post shared by chrissy teigen (@chrissyteigen) on

In the revealing chat with the well-known publication, Chrissy confirmed she is actively seeking to reduce her alcohol intake, and admits that she is often unable to stop at just one drink.

“I was, point blank, just drinking too much,” she said. “I got used to being in hair and makeup and having a glass of wine."

“Then that glass of wine would carry over into me having one before the awards show. And then a bunch at the awards show," she continued.

The 31-year-old admits that her behaviour while under the influence of alcohol has caused both her and her husband, John Legend, embarrassment in the past.

"I felt bad for making kind of an a** of myself to people that I really respected. And that feeling, there’s just nothing like that. You feel horrible. It’s not a good look for me, for John, for anybody," she admitted.

Interestingly, no one from Chrissy's camp felt the need to broach the topic with her, and she believes that is due to the fact, she was able to function the following morning.

"They just assumed that it was OK because I always felt OK the next morning. I knew in my heart it wasn’t right. It makes you very short with people."

The mother-of-one admits that her newfound respect for alcohol would not have sat well with her in the past, but she's at the point where she knows cutting back is the right thing to do.

"I used to think it was kind of nutty to have to go totally sober,” she said. “But now I get it. I don’t want to be that person… I have to fix myself."

Fair play to her.
