Bus Éireann has announced an all-out strike, which is in place since midnight last night.

Talks between five trade unions lasted more than three hours yesterday, and SIPTU’s transport sector organiser, Willie Noone, said the “time for talking is over.”

Now, Iarnród Éireann is being affected by the strike.

"Iarnród Éireann has advised customers that there will be significant disruption to Intercity rail services today, Friday 24th March, arising from picketing associated with the Bus Éireann dispute," reads a statement from Irish Rail.

"Iarnród Éireann is not a party to this dispute."

Limited services will be available on the Dublin/Cork, Dublin/Limerick, Dublin/Galway, Dublin/Sligo, Dublin/Waterford and Dublin/Rosslare lines.

The 09:00am Sligo to Connolly service and the 09:40am Connolly to Rosslare service are both cancelled.

The 12.00pm Dublin/Cork service has also been cancelled.

You know the deal. You have a sh*tty Internet connection in your house, and when you try to post the cutest photo ever of your dog, Instagram fails you.

You try again, but nope, 'FAIL' just keeps popping up.

No one will ever see your cute dog… SMH.

However, the social media app is testing out a feature which will eliminate the need for a strong Internet connection.

Many networks like Netflix and Amazon Prime have already rolled out this new feature, which has gained a great amount of popularity since it won't eat up all your data.

According to a report from the Facebook Developers Conference, Instagram will try to use the same method, especially in countries with dodgy Internet connections.

According to Mashable, the developers said: "Instagram’s mission is to help people connect through shared experiences.

"For people in low-bandwidth regions, we’ve begun testing offline experiences that keep the Instagram experience consistent and let people consume and engage with content, even if they don’t have service.

"In this talk we’ll introduce some of our initial explorations into offline features, and share learnings you can apply to your own apps."

All they need to do is take a trip down to the midlands and they'll see what a dodgy connection is all about!

The black heart emoji was probably our favourite addition to the last emoji update, and now it's time again to welcome a few more on board.

Nearly 70 new emojis are coming our way later this year, including a mermaid, a dinosaur, a genie in a bottle and a woman in a hijab.

However, some of the new additions are probably not needed. When are we ever going to use a can of tomatoes?!

Refinery29 reports that Unicode, the company responsible for approving all emojis, will release the new set in June 2017.

We just can't wait to use the mermaid! *Just keep swimming*

If your weekend plans included heading home on the bus, you might be in for a bit of bother.

Bus Éireann has announced an all-out strike will take place from midnight tonight.

Talks between five trade unions lasted more than three hours today, and SIPTU’s transport sector organiser, Willie Noone, said the “time for talking is over.”

The bus service lost more than €10m last year, and 50 proposed cost-saving measures are not being taken on by employees.

Its 2,600 staff members are refusing to take pay-cuts, which include overtime earnings.

As of now, it looks like no end date is in sight, so you may have to rearrange any travel plans for the foreseeable future.

You might not think it, but a lot of thought goes behind every fashion forward Instagram account.

With clever tricks and smart methods, style icons and fashionistas have the inside knowledge on how to make their Instas look super fab all day long.

So, if you want to have an account that resembles the Kendalls and Chiaras of the world, then here are a few tips to help you out:

1. Brief captions and snappy hashtags

No one wants to see long, drawn-out captions under images, because let's be honest, we all scroll past them.

Keep your followers intrigued with simple intros and one or two hashtags is the perfect amount.

2. Be different

Post various types of images and videos, such a scenery, animals, accessories, food and so on.

Posting the same things day in and day out will grow a little stale and your followers might get a bit bored.

3. Brand it

If you're wearing a new River Island top or Nine Crows shirt, make sure to tag them in your image.

Most brands will actually regram the best pictures, which could gain you a whole new following. And check out if the brand has a hashtag, too.

4. Selfie-less

While posting a selfie from time to time is grand, you don't want your entire feed to be filled with photos of your face (sorry).

And if you do post a selfie, include some fab accessories or a gorgeous background.

5. Filters

Use the same or similar filters throughout your whole feed. Whether you want colourful and bright or grey and muted, choose a theme and stick to it.

A lot of bloggers also use VSCO to enhance their snaps.

Twitter is currently in meltdown as the public debate the merits of this year's Electric Picnic line-up – word of which only landed this morning.

The XX fans will be pretty pumped to hear that the London band will be headlining alongside A Tribe Called Quest and Duran Duran, but not everyone is feeling it.

In addition to these acts, Chaka Khan, Run The Jewels, Interpol, Father John Misty, and London Grammar will perform to thousands of music fans at Stradbally this September.

And people just aren't that pleased by the sounds of things.

Twitter, we'll let you take it from here…

However, some people were more than happy with this year's headliners, and were only dying to tell the haters all about it.

According to emerging reports, British Prime Minister, Theresa May, has confirmed that an Irish person was among those injured during yesterday's terrorist attack in London.

Speaking in Parliament this morning, Ms. May provided those present with a list of the members of public who had been admitted to hospital after the incident in Westminister.

It has been established that the list included 12 Britons, three French children, two Romanians, four South Koreans, one German, one Pole, one Irish, one Chinese, one Italian, one American and two Greeks.

Ms May delivered a statement with details of the attack an hour after MPs had stood for a minute's silence in honour of the people killed yesterday.

While earlier reports stated that five people had lost their lives during the attack, recent reports have confirmed that the figure currently stands at four.

Seven of the 29 people admitted to hospital are in a critical condition.

Eight people have been arrested in raids in London, Birmingham and elsewhere in connection with yesterday's attack in the British capital.
