Last year, Daniella Westbrooke took part in the Channel 5 show, Celebrity Botched Up Bodies, where stars go on in hopes to fix any part of their bodies that they feel uncomfortable with.

Daniella had a boob job and a bit of work done on her teeth while making the appearance, but now she's looking for $750,000 (€870,000) from the makers.

She told The Sun: "I’m suing the makers of Celebrity Botched Up Bodies for £750,000 to cover lost earnings."

While she was on the show, the former actress begged to have her teeth redone after a car crash left her relying on dentures.

Doctors were hesitant to do the dental work because of Daniella's 20-cigarettes-a-day habit, but went through with it nonetheless.

Just days later she had to seek urgent medical attention while in the Big Brother house because she had blood poisoning from the newly-implanted veneers.

When she returned to the show she had to explain to Stephanie Davis why she became so angry at her before she went to see the show's doctor.

"I’d just been out to have my veneers done – when that happened. I was worried about infection… I bet you didn’t see that."

Irish blogger Joanne Larby, otherwise known as the Makeup Fairy, has revealed the secrets behind transitioning her blog into a business.

Speaking at the Irish Bloggers Conference today, the makeup artist disclosed that she tried her hand at many trades before turning to blogging, including art, retail, make-up, nannying and even child psychology.

Putting her massive success down to "hard graft," Joanne said having "the intent, belief and passion to know that you can make it all the way" is the cornerstone of her accomplishments.

Last week, the beauty blogger faced controversy after launching her brush collection, Fairy Wands, online.

The brushes have been likened to those by fellow Irish brand Nima, with one Twitter user saying "what a rip off on Nima brushes, why not pick a more original colour?" before being blocked by the social media star.

The blogger describes the blue hue as being "Tiffany turquoise, to be that little bit different in every way" on her website.

Responding to the Twitter user, Niamh Martin, founder of Nima, said "It’s a pity. Unfortunately, we can’t copyright a colour, but it’s definitely disappointing to see in such a small market."

Joanne has not responded to the tweets, but her fans are clearly happy to snap up the €90 brushes, as Twitter is flooded with mini makeup fairies eager to get their hands on the coveted products.

Laura Whitmore has been in the centre of the public eye since taking to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom.

From rumours flying that she was in a relationship with her dance partner, to her reveal that she thought she was voted off the competition too early, it sure has been a whirlwind.

And now the former MTV presenter has blasted The Late Late Show after controversial journalist Katie Hopkins appeared on the programme last night.

The Irish native took to Twitter to share a note. It read: " I was booked to go on the Late Late Show a year ago to talk about my child sponsorship with Plan Ireland (I’ve sponsored a little girl for six years in the Philippines).

“I had made a trip a month before to raise awareness of the children, specifically females, taken out of school too young to support their families.

“It was cancelled last minute and I was informed the charity had been told by the procure they don’t like doing those ‘charity pieces’.

“It angers me that certain other people who don’t need such a platform are given it to spread negativity and let’s face it absolute nonsense.

“It leaves me with little faith in this world.”

One fan wrote under the picture: “Keep the faith, Laura. You’re a good person and while it might not always seem like it you’re not alone. Big hug.”

First, it was the succulent nails (and they were gross), but now a new plant-based beauty trend has hit the Internet, and it's not half bad.

I admit that I would not be trying it myself, but for those of you who like mad hair colours- succulent hair may just be your new bae!

What is it though?

Basically, succulent hair is a new layered dye trend that incorporates all of the colours in succulents.

These are not just green shades, succulents actually have gorgeous purple and blue undertones, which makes for a pretty cool hair style.

INSTAGRAM HAIR TREND OF THE WEEK! Meet #SUCCULENTHAIR…haircolor inspired by everyone’s favorite wedding favor! Stylists across the U.S. have been dyeing their clients' locks with a gorgeous mix of green, purple, teal, and pink to mimic the natural colors of succulents. On Instagram, under the #succulenthair tag, you'll find excellent examples of the hair-color trend—in between pictures of women literally wearing tiny succulents in their hair on their wedding days. Aly Louch, a stylist at Shear Excitement Salon & Spa in Pompano Beach, Florida, tried out succulent hair on a client who is obsessed with the plants. "We had been talking about creating a piece inspired by succulents for some time," Louch tells Allure. "Finally, we just decided to stop talking about it and do it." Before the succulent dye job, the model had different shades of blue, purple, and pink in her hair, so Louch had to strip her hair of the rainbow entirely before starting the coloring process. Once the model's hair was basically a blank canvas, Louch brushed on a mix of vivid greens, leaving out the bottom two inches. Then Louch went back in to "melt and diffuse the ends with a mixture of pink, magenta, and wild orchid with a drop of violet," she says. #redavid #redavidhair #hair #fashion #beauty #americansalon #modernsalon #beautylaunchpad #behindthechair #hairscience #orchidoil #sciencethatworks #stylingthatstuns #hairtrend #trend #haircolor #unicorntribe

Ruth Fitzpatrick is 27 and is from Dublin. In the aftermath of Donald Trump’s US presidential election win, she felt compelled to speak out about her own harrowing experiences of sexual harassment, physical violence, and widespread misogyny.

This account has been written in her own words…

“Every four years we watch the American election extravaganza with a mixture of awe and thinly-veiled ridicule.

“But in reality, regardless of the result, we wake up the next morning and everything is largely unchanged.

“We feel a little smug, and then we move on. We have our own politicians to worry about and our own bills to pay.

“But today the world feels different. Because it is different.

“I made a decision just over a year ago to keep all negative experiences working overseas in the oil and gas industry private. I felt paralysed with guilt and shame. Indeed, less than half a dozen people – including those medical professionals who have helped me in recent months – knew the full extent of what actually happened.

“I had been well-informed and, I thought, well-prepared for my new job in August 2013: I was told on a number of occasions prior to me signing my contract that I would be one of very few – often the only – female workers living on the compound.

“Quickly it began.

“‘Shut up. Be quiet. Shut up. Fat. Slut. Whore. Why don’t you wear skirts? Why don’t you wear make-up? Why do you wearing skirts now? Why don’t you wear more make-up? Fat. Slut. Whore. Shut up. Be quiet. Shut up.’

“Words do hurt. Words do break. And by the time the physical and sexual violence begins, words can have you so damaged that you feel completely stripped of power to stop it.

“Assault was daily. There were the constant derogatory comments about my appearance, and attempts to grope me during my work day. There was hair-pulling (I had no idea that that was a thing grown men did). Perpetrated by a small minority of men (but the majority rarely intervened) there were also moments of serious sexual and physical violence.

“It happened at a party: I was sitting at a table with a number of colleagues and some of the company’s clients. One colleague was convinced I had insulted him. Maybe I had. He was so angry he grabbed my head with such force that I sustained bruising and that he pulled out hair.

“He forced my head to his crotch and shouted: ‘SUCK MY COCK, BITCH: SUCK MY COCK.’

“There was some laughter. There was some mild scolding. One client, however, was appalled enough to get me away and back to my cabin. I probably would have archived this event like all the others: dismissed it as a simple workplace hazard and moved on. But the next day I had two separate visitors.

“The first was the man who had rescued me from the escalating situation the night before. He was horrified by what he’d witnessed. He gave me his details and told me to get in contact if I ever wanted to press charges.

“I realised it then: I had protected myself by creating a fantasy, a fantasy where I was completely at fault for everything that happened to me, and where if I felt upset it was only because I was overreacting. That an outsider approached me and told me what was happening was wrong shock me to my core.

“Then I had my second visitor: a colleague. He too was appalled. I truly believe that he did care for my welfare, but more importantly: he cared for the company’s reputation. He knew of or witnessed assaults committed by the same of equal or worse severity, but this was the first that had been in the full view of clients.

“He told me it would be dealt with unofficially, that I would have nothing to fear any more. I told him I wanted to make it official, and the climate changed: I was told in no uncertain terms that if I reported this or any other attack that I would have to give up my job, and that I would no longer be welcome. To those around me, I had become a troublemaker: a nasty woman.

“The next few weeks were some of the worst in my life. I was beginning to be ostracised by my colleagues and was constantly watched.

“Rumours were circulated with increased venom. And, to make matters worse, my food and water supply was controlled by my primary attacker.

“I didn’t know how to leave. I didn’t want to admit to my family or friends what had happened to me or how long I had let it go on. In the end, it was the global downturn in the oil industry that got me out.

“As part of widespread cutbacks, my position was shed. And I doubt there has ever been anyone so happy to be fired.

“But I wasn’t yet free.

“Five months later I began to experience panic attacks and flashbacks which increased in frequency and severity. Whenever I was alone, I found myself reliving the worst moments of this period of my life. I turned to alcohol to try and stop these flashbacks from happening, and to self-harm when I couldn’t get them to stop. I was still so full of shame, and so reluctant to say what had happened to me was wrong. But I knew I needed help, and I sought help.

“Thanks to my really wonderful GP, I have been able to work through and recognise the traumas I experienced, and have felt like a perfectly normal, healthy human-being for the last four months.

However, this week, US president elect, Donald Trump, globally normalised what happened to me.

“And by supporting Donald Trump’s words and by dismissing his actions, people – particularly men – are allowing a deplorable culture where women are not safe and not equal to fester and grow.

“We are women. We are liars. We wanted it. We asked for it.

"I never wanted to be one of Trump’s ‘nasty' women, but the world I woke up to today gives me no choice. I felt too ashamed to tell my story before. But I know that that shame will be nothing compared to the shame I’d feel if I had to look at my three-year-old niece and know I had done nothing to try and make her world a better, safer place.

“From today I will be a nasty woman. I will be a nasty woman for her, and for every other little girl who might still have a chance of an equal future.

“I will be a nasty woman. In the hope they don’t have to.”

She's been on and off announcing her love for him throughout the whole year, and now once again, Vicky Pattison has sent rumours into overdrive.

The brunette beauty sent fans melting when she posted a heartfelt tribute to Alex Cannon last night, saying she didn't know it was possible to "love someone anymore (sic)" than she already did.

Taking to Instagram, Vicks shared a picture of Alex snuggling into her neck, as she beams up at the camera.

She captioned the snap: "That moment when you don't think you couldn't love someone anymore and then they do something so loyal, genuine and kind and they do it instinctively and unprompted…

"That is a special moment! @alexcannon."

Our expectations were high for the annual bawl-fest that is the John Lewis Christmas ad, but it looks like no one saw Lidl coming!

The supermarket chain has emerged with THE advert of the festive season, both heartbreaking and heart-warming in equal measure.

HULU christmas magic sabrina the teenage witch christmas spirit

The advert shows a family returning to their old home, blowing the dust off the furniture and getting it Christmas-ready for a very special guest: Granddad.

It would appear that Granny passed away before Christmas, and the family wants to make a very special gesture of love and comfort to Granddad – by bringing him back their first home and celebrating the festive season all together.

As Granddad’s heart sinks, looking at the empty chair beside him; his spirits are immediately lifted when his adorable granddaughter takes a seat.

Needless to say, the internet has been reduced to total mush ever since the advert was released.

“What a beautiful Christmas ad, well done Lidl,” tweeted one fan, while cry-face memes and emojis have been filling up our timelines.

When the lovely ladies at Unicorn Lashes brought us unicorn makeup brushes, we thought our lives were complete.

If you didn't get your hands on the exclusive collection, never fear, because the brand's latest offering is just as gorge.

While our love for unicorns is still going strong, we also have a magpie eye for all things that glitter, so these brushes are right up our alley.

The new Royale collection has the Midas touch, with gorgeously gilded handles that still resemble a unicorn horn.

The new collection wont be available until the New Year, but if you're still lusting after the pastel-perfect unicorn brushes, Unicorn Lashes is planning a mega re-stock in December.

Nabbing the unicorn collection is as mythical as the creature itself, so get on the pre-order list ASAP.

A very important part of my youth was watching the Cheetah Girls films, and wishing that I would someday be as cool as them.

My favourite Cheetah, Adrienne Bailon, recently tied the knot with her long-term beau, Israel Houghton, in Paris (Kimye, eat your heart out!).

The couple's romantic nuptials were held in front of about 70 guests, including Disney Channel star Tamera Mowry.

In an interview with People, the bride spoke of her day, and how happy she was: “I genuinely just feel so blessed and grateful, I’ve honestly never been happier in my entire life.”
