After her outburst during the week, Jada Pinkett Smith has thanked Oscars president Cheryl Boone Isaacs.

The president of the awards admitted to being "heartbroken and frustrated" by the all-white nominations, which were announced this week.

Jada made a very public video and promised to boycott the award show next month, but Cheryl had a very quick response and insisted that the organisation is going up for a review.

Mrs Pinkett Smith then took to social media saying: "I would like to express my gratitude to the Academy, specifically Cheryl Boone Isaacs, for such a quick response in regard to the issue at hand. I look forward to the future."

Jada's husband, Will Smith was hoping for a nomination for his role in Concussion, but didn't make the final five. Will's ex-co-star, Janet Hubert, who played Aunt Viv in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, also spoke out yesterday about Jada's public video.

Call us crazy but we are not sure we have ever desired a big bowl of chips topped with a healthy dollop of chocolate sauce.

Nevertheless, McDonald's is giving us just that with it's latest concoction.

In a move that may seem sacrilege to our official national vegetable, the humble potato, we would like to introduce the McChoco Potato.

Yep, envision a healthy serving of Maccie D's signature chips topped with white and milk chocolate sauces.

Yum.

"The salty of the potato, the taste of surprise sweetness of the chocolate source is applied, Please enjoy," reads a basic translation of the poster, according to Cosmopoliton.

Because you know when you finish off your main of chips, you just want more chips for dessert right?

Mmm, not so much.

We may have had pizza for breakfast before and we have certainly mixed chocolate in with our popcorn in the cinema, but this may be one step too far.

The dessert has only been rolled out in Japan so far and considering McDonald's strategy of rolling out new products in small regions to test reactions, we are kind of hoping this one does not go down too well.

Would you give these bad boys a whirl?

Let's be real, trying to stay fit and healthy when your a busy woman can be super-tricky, and most of the time we don't even know where to begin.

Early starts and late nights can sometimes mean all health goals go out the window – but it doesn't have to be the daunting task you think it is; it can actually be really easy.

We caught up with fitness and nutrition expert Paul Byrne at Balfes where he was launching the new healthy breakfast menu, and he broke down the ins and outs of the working woman staying healthy.

1. Prepare, prepare, prepare

It's really important to plan and prepare what to eat everyday. Paul suggests making your lunch and breakfast the night before, so you will waste no time in the morning.

"It can be as simple as preparing your lunch the evening before. Or making porridge in the morning takes the same amount of time as making toast. It's just about choosing the healthy option that suits your lifestyle."

And if you are rushing every morning, you can have something small when you leave the house and then eat more later.

"The whole point of breakfast is breaking your fast, so have a juice before you run out of the house in the morning, and then around 11am, have your porridge or have your eggs."

2. Don't trick your body

Most of us will grab the easiest thing in the morning, like a bowl of cereal or bread, but Paul warned us against it, as it can play games with your body.

"A bowl of cereal could have about seven or eight spoonfuls of sugar in it. You might think this is grand and healthy, but sugar just makes your body crash within an hour or two and then you're back to square one."

Instead, having a bag of unsalted nuts in your handbag can give you a major boost and keep you sustained between meals.

3. Build up your fitness

As we all know, every new year we make promises to ourselves that we will work out everyday and cut out ALL the bad stuff, but Paul suggests to keep it in moderation, especially when you're only starting.

"There's no point going to the gym five or six days a week when you're only starting out. You need to start of slow and work it up; so, maybe begin with two days a week, and work up to three days and so on."

And the same goes with food: "If you begin to eat a carrot for lunch everyday, you're going to get sick of it very quickly. Let yourself have cheat days, let yourself have that glass of wine on Saturday night. You should never deprive your body of anything."

4. Don't fall for myths

You will often see on TV and on the Internet, myths about being healthy, but Paul says that most of it is made up, and always stick to what works for you and only you.

"A couple of years ago there was a myth about the yellow of the egg being really bad for you. It's not at all. Myths like this can completely ruin diets and give people unachievable goals. Just stick to the basics and you will be fine."

Healthy breakfast and lunch dishes are available at Balfes Restaurant, The Westbury Hotel.

We are totally buggin' over this Clueless inspired video featuring some of our ultimate celebrity crushes.

Someone over in W Magazine had the genius of idea of doing a casting call with a couple of top Hollywood actors. As you do.

And the role they would be auditioning for?

Our favourite ditsy, blonde; Cher Horotwitz from Clueless of course.

Paul Dano, Seth Rogen, Jake Gyllenhaal and Bradley Cooper are tasked with reading that iconic scene from early in the film in which Cher takes part in a class debate.

While Bradley does a decent job, Seth Rogen steals the show with his melodramatic spin on the ridiculous speech.

As for Paul Dano and Jake….

Madonna has hit back at accusations that she was drunk during a live performance as part of her Rebel Heart tour last week.

The star appeared to slur her words on stage as she chatted to the crowd as seen in a fan video made during the show in Kentucky.

"I'm messing everything up," she says to her fans in the eight minute video.

"My choreography, my words… Maybe someone slipped some bourbon into my throat coat tea."

Madonna took to her Instagram account to blast the accusations and claimed she was falling victim to sexism in the media.

"For those people who like to believe all they read i never drink and perform!!!" read the captioned image of herself lying down on stage.

"It's so very interesting how society continues to not only treat me in a totally sexist way (if I were a man no one would have said a thing) and also continue to take everything I say literally!

"That's what happens when people don't read book and get all information from TMZ."

This is not the first time the Rebel Heart tour has faced criticism by fans and in the press, as some audiences have been kept waiting over two and a half hour for the iconic star to take to the stage.

The controversy comes amidst Madonna's bitter custody battle with ex-husband Guy Ritchie over their 15-year-old son, Rocco.

According to inside sources, Rocco had become frustrated with his home life and left the US during his mother's Rebel Heart tour just before the Christmas holidays.

An attorney for Guy Ritchie released a statement claiming that: "[Rocco] has expressed very clearly that he does not want to return to New York."

Guy has reportedly hired lawyers as he prepares to battle the iconic pop star for Rocco's custody, revealing that he believes that the teenager would have a healthier lifestyle in London with him, his wife and three children.

After news of Cheryl Fernandez-Versini's split from her husband broke earlier this month, fans wondered if yet another surname change was in order for the star.

Since her early days as a Popstars contestant, we've known Cheryl under a few different names, each with a very different identity – her Girls Aloud/wild child days as Cheryl Tweedy, her first marriage and solo music career as Cheryl Cole, and the last 18 months as Ms. Fernandez-Versini.

But according to documents obtained by The Sun, the singer is keen to keep the double-barrelled surname, to avoid returning to one of the old surnames that simply have negative associations for her.

"Cheryl has had to reinvent herself several times but her three past names all have very different memories," a source told the paper.

"Tweedy is associated with her assault court case [after an incident in a nightclub in 2003], Cole with [her first husband] Ashley’s cheating."

The documents show that Cheryl has requested that her current name, Fernandez-Versini, remain unchanged in any contracts linked to her company, CC Couture Ltd.

It's thought that the X Factor judge and her second husband Jean-Bernard "secretly" split back in August, but made things official by filing for divorce at the start of January.

A look at her latest Instagram posts show that Cheryl's been doing her best to keep busy, getting some time at the gym in as well as a night out with her Girls Aloud bandmates Kimberly Walsh and Nicola Roberts.

Irish Fly-half and general rugby legend Jonathan Sexton is expecting his second child with wife of two years, Laura.

The 30-year-old is already a proud daddy of 19-month-old baby boy named Luca

According to the Irish Independent, the Irish Fly-half's latest bundle of joy is due in a matter of weeks.

However, we reckon the arrival of a baby in February could be bad timing for the talented sports star.

The notoriously private couple will have a tough few months ahead as Jonny is gearing up to help lead Ireland to an RBS Six Nations win that begins in early February.

Laura and Jonny are childhood sweethearts and married privately in 2013.

The small ceremony took place in the gorgeous surroundings of the Adare Manor house in Limerick.

According to reports Jonny is ready to return to his position as out-half for the tournament following a disappointing injury saw him out of the Rugby World Cup in their pool game against France.

Constantly making PDAs, wearing one another's clothes, and posting about each other on social media – yup, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are pretty much like any other annoyingly cute 20-something couple it seems.

And their relationship doesn't stop at always being in touch, either. Even when Gigi's not with her new boyfriend, he's right beside her, on her phone's lock screen.

The model was snapped coming through Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris this week, and with her phone lit up a snap of Zayn's face was clearly visible.

Various sites have confirmed that the photos are not edited and are in fact legit paparazzi snaps.

As anyone who's ever been in a relationship knows, when their face makes it onto your phone's wallpaper, it's the real deal.

This isn't Gigi's first less-than-subtle shout-out to her new boyfriend, either. Last week the Victoria's Secret model celebrated Zayn's birthday (or "ZDAY" as she termed it) with a snap on her Instagram of a gold Z pendant.

A present for Zayn or her new favourite piece of jewellery? That we're not sure of.

Earlier this week, Kanye West revealed his plans to release a compilation album of David Bowie covers as a tribute to the late star who passed away from cancer earlier this month.

And while the rapper has already busy in the studio working on his own versions of classic Bowie songs such as Rebel, Rebel and Heroes, it seems that a few people are not happy.

Make that thousands of people.

An online petition that began online only yesterday has already raked up over 7.000 signatures at the time of writing.

According to the Daily Star, the 38-year-old musician wants to record "straightforward covers" of the late Bowie's music.

"[The album would include] straightforward cover versions with Kanye actually singing. On others he is rapping with his own lyrics over Bowie's music," said a source.

The campaign to stop the album going forward was created by Peter Piranha and is gaining significant traction online.

"David Bowie was one of the single most important musicians of the 20th and 21st century," reads the tagline of the petition.

"It would be a sacrilege to let it be ruined by Kanye West."

From the sounds of things, Kanye is already in the studio working on the project and we can't imagine him changing his mind.

Kanye is also set to release his latest album, Swish, in the next few months.

There are just two days left until Cadbury opens its pop-up Creme Egg Café in London, and the first photos are in.

The verdict? Well, we can already tell we're going to spend the next month in a puddle of our own drool, staring at other peoples' photos on Instagram.

Look at that tray bake, for God's sake, posted to the official Cadbury Facebook page yesterday:

Other options on offer will include Creme Egg and toast soldiers, a combination we'll have to try out at home ourselves:

And finally, the famous Cadbury Creme Egg toastie, oozing with fondant and chocolate *swoon*:

Builders in Soho have been busy putting the final touches to the café's exterior, which is decked out in Cadbury-tastic shades of purple and red.

And thanks to some wily passers-by, we've managed to get a good look at the place ahead of the Jan 22 opening.

YES! #CremeEggCafe

A photo posted by Nadine (@nadine_bacchus) on

No snaps of the inside have emerged yet, but a closer look at that blackboard confirms it will indeed have two floors and a BALL PIT in the basement as rumoured last week.

The café is open until March 6, but you might want to reconsider before hopping on a flight to London as tickets for entry sold out instantly.

However Cadbury have said there will be a limited amount of walks-in each day, with opening hours of 5pm – 9pm on Fridays and 2pm – 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Creme Egg brunch? Yes please.

What happens when a rescue cat with identical features to a well-known fantasy series villian surfaces on Twitter?

Well, the internet suitably loses it's mind of course.

When a New Jersey animal rescue centre in the States took to social media to share an image of new rescue Corey, one Twitter user could not believe the uncanny resemblance of the cat to new Star Wars villain, Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver.

And we have to say, she definitely has a point.

The shelter posts pictures of their rescue animals to their Twitter page in order to help them get adopted, but they had no idea that this particular four-legged friend had a pretty famous (and pretty evil) doppelgänger.

Thousands of likes and retweets later, the internet was pretty enamoured by this unlikely resemblance.

Even fan favourite parody account, Emo Kylo Ren, got involved.

While the real Kylo Ren suffers from some serious family issues, little Corey received a very happy ending when the shelter revealed he had been snapped up by a loving forever home.

We can only hope that the real Kylo Ren also finds a forever home of his own.

An 18-year-old student has been hospitalised after taking so-called 'designer drug' 2CB at a house party in Cork yesterday.

The young man remains in critical condition while three others have been hospitalised after taking the drug, which is being described as an "ecstacy substitute."

Reports described horrific scenes as Gardaí found teen lying in a pool of his own blood at the scene.

According to the Irish Independent, the youth "acted possessed," "made inhuman noises" and attempted to "eat the pavement."

This is the first time that the drug 2CB has been seen in Ireland and Gardaí and health representatives have warned of it's dangers.

"The drug itself is one of these complex designer drugs that basically originated in San Francisco in the 70s in the garage laboratory scene," said a specialist to Newstalk'Right Hook yesterday.

"But since the advent of the internet it’s gone global. It’s basically a high-powered psychedelic."

While it will be months before blood tests reveal exactly what was consumed by the students, the HSE issued a statement to Irish youths.

"There are problems with purity and contaminants and there is no way of checking that what is purchased or consumed is the intended substance," said the statement.

According to the Irish Independent, one man who came upon the scene described it as "one of the most scariest and surreal nights of my life."

"Whatever drugs those people were on last night was scary.

"They didn’t even know they were covered in blood and badly hurt, they didn’t even know there was a man dying on the floor. I haven’t slept a wink all night. I’m still in shock to be honest.”

Six party-goers were hospitalised following the frightening events, two later discharged.
