Celebrity gossip columns were alight this week after it was revealed that Megan McKenna and Sam Reece would be making an appearance at the same nightclub in the wake of her CBB eviction.

Many even speculated that the pair were doing the job in Kent on purpose in order to spend more time together.

But it seems that these rumours were of course totally bogus as Megan totally has her pal Stephanie's back.

According to the Mirror, the pair barely even spoke during the highly publicised nighclub appearance.

Megan even took to Twitter after the event to totally diss Sam and his entire 'team'. And if you can ignore the really bad grammar, it's a pretty good insult.

We reckon this roughly translates as: "When you do a PA and someone's 'ex' boyfriend and their tag-team think they're a-listers."

Good woman, Megan.

Megan also congratulated her former housemate Jeremy McConnell on his exit from the house last night.

Reports are surfacing today that Rob Kardashian's alleged girlfriend Blac Chyna was arrested in a Texas airport yesterday for becoming increasingly drunk and belligerent.

According to TMZ, the model and former bae of Kylie Jenner's current boyfriend, Tyga, was flying from Los Angeles to London via Texas when the incident occurred.

Eye witness reports claim that the 27-year-old became extremely loud and difficult when boarding her connecting flight to London and the police were forced to arrest her on the spot.

Sources described her as being "heavily intoxicated" and "acting like a drunken fool."

At one point she was alleged to have yelled: "Y'all got no respect for me. I gotta tie my shoes. Let me tie my Yeezys."

According to the celebrity gossip site, Chyna remains in custody after being charged with public intoxication.

Blac has been the centre of much media coverage this week as it emerged that she has been dating notorious Kardashian recluse, Rob.

The news seems to have sent the Kardashian-Jenner brood into a bit of a tailspin as they began to diss each other on social media.

This is the story that keeps on giving people.

We have brought you news that the Gilmore Girls are making a triumphant return to our screens though it didn't really feel REAL, you know?

Until now that is!

Star of the show, Lauren Graham has confirmed that they currently shooting for the new series in a tweet yesterday.

Yep, it is definitely happening.

Three months back, Netflix closed a deal with Warner Bros. for a limited-series revival of Gilmore Girls written by series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino.

Additionally reports suggested that revival would consist of  90-minute episodes. Which is practically the length of a film. So really, we’re getting four Gilmore Girls films! Kind of, but it’s exciting to think of it that way.

But in a cool twist, the show's creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino has revealed that the four parts will take place over a year, with each episode set during a different season.

A contract dispute with Warner Bros back in 2006 meant that Amy had to bow out of writing the show's final season, and so she never got to create the perfect ending for Lorelai and Rory.

Until now that is!

No word on the release date yet, but we will keep you posted.

January has been tough you guys.

We haven't had disposable cash since the first week of the new year which meant a major cull in all social activities and a major lack of weekend cocktails.

Until today that is.

The January pay check is PARTICULARLY sweet and so we kind of went a bit mad today. Here is the needless things we may or may not have indulged in:

1) A Haircut, pronto

2) A whole new outfit

Because we plan to start having a social life again

3) A really REALLY nice lunch

It may have involved cocktails

4) A holiday, sure YOLO

Summer is coming guys.

5) A nail appointment

Chipped shellac is not cute

6) Screw Nespresso, we got a Starbucks

One grande, iced, sugar-free, vanilla latte With Soy Milk. And heavy on the cream.

7) Gin

Because we're going out tonight, obvs.

Storm Gertrude has had some devastating effects on the country but it nearly claimed the life of one particularly unfortunate household pet.

The unassuming rabbit was riding out the near-hurricane force winds in his hutch situated in his owners back garden when a particularly strong gust blew the hatch upwards sending the rabbit sailing up onto the roof of the house.

Bumper the rabbit, who hails from Omagh in Northern Ireland, was found safe but unfortunately rather inconvenienced after finding himself up on the roof.

Following a call for help, the local fire service arrived on the scene where they managed to coax Bumper with a carrot.

"Bravo Watch Omagh came to the rescue of Bumper the Rabbit this morning, after Storm Gertrude blew over his hutch catapulting him onto the roof of this bungalow," said a spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.

"Bumper is now safe in the care of his owner and none the worse for his ordeal. One short extension ladder, one reach pole, and one particularly tasty carrot were used by personnel at the incident."

Great news, but maybe just let the poor bunny inside next time?

Look we're not claiming that you and half your office are psychopaths if you work in law or sales, we're just saying psychopaths are also attracted to those jobs.

We thought you might like to know.

While psychopathy does not mean full blown serial killer, it is estimated that at least one per cent of the population display psychopathic characteristics.

And new research has pin pointed the top ten careers for these individuals:

1. CEO

2. Lawyer

3. Media (TV/Radio)

4. Salesperson

5. Surgeon

6. Journalist

7. Police officer

8. Clergyperson

9. Chef

10. Civil Servant

CEO and lawyer we can get, but our friendly, neighbourhood priest? No, simply, no.

"Psychopathy is not easily defined," said Professor Scott Lilienfed to the Sun.

"But most psychologists view it as a personality disorder characterised by superficial charm with profound dishonesty, callousness, and poor impulse control."

Good luck, everyone.

When children's author Joe Craig tweeted to his followers that he had an interesting story to tell, it's safe to say everyone needed to know what it was.

Well, it turns out that Joe had had a pretty fascinating encounter while out walking his dog earlier in the week and he simply had to share it with the universe.

And we are SO glad he did.

Take it away, Joe:

Amazing.

While we are all sitting around waiting for Beyonce to release new music, this may just appease us until we get a hold of her new stuff next month.

Queen Bey has collaborated with Chris Martin's Coldplay for the undeniably catchy Hymn for the Weekend.

Our favourite pop star is kitted out in some gorgeous costumes for the video and well she slays it as expected.

Bey is set to perform with Coldplay during her hotly anticipated Superbowl half-time show taking place in February.

It hasn't been confirmed whether this is the song that will be performed, but we will hazard a guess that it probably will.

When you sit down and think about it, you'll probably find you spend far more time sitting in front of a screen than you actually realise.

That 30-minute commute spent flicking through Twitter on your phone, followed by a full day's work in front of the computer… it all adds up. Yet even after eight hours staring at a screen, most of us want nothing more than to flop on the couch after work and zone out in front of Celebrity Big Brother.

Ireland's screentime is well above the recommended amount, with new research by Core Media and Ignite Research showing that even children are watching on average four hours of TV and online video every day. That's DOUBLE the maximum recommended limit.

So next time you're planning a relaxing night with your other half, why not switch off the telly and try something different? Here are a few of our favourite date ideas that DON'T involve your couch and remote control…

1. Check out some comedy
The International Bar on Wicklow Street was the kick-off point from some of Dublin's best comedy acts, from Des Bishop to Fred Cooke. There are shows every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night with tickets available for a €10 on the door on the night. Head along and who knows, you could see a big name – or the next big thing.

2. Experience the best music in a mystery venue
Sitting rooms, rooftops, attics and clothes shops are just some of the spots that have played host to Sofar Sounds, a music collective offering "amazing music in intimate venues." Their next date is February 24, so sign up and head along to check out a few amazing acts in a mystery venue somewhere in Dublin.

3. Get fit together
Whether it's joining a local running club or getting out for a walk together, there's no nicer way to spend an evening than all wrapped up out in the fresh air. Plus, exercise = endorphins, which are known to strengthen the bond between couples. Win.

4. Become pet owners – just for the day
If you two would LOVE a dog but can barely fit a goldfish in your apartment, why not check out a dog-borrowing service like Borrow My Doggy? You'll get to take care of someone else's adorable pooch for a few hours, walk them, play endless games of 'fetch' and drop them back to their owner.

5. Cook a meal together
Rather than banging out a chicken stir-fry in ten minutes flat, pick a recipe for something you both love, stock up on ingredients and prepare it together. If you know you're likely to want to kill each other after five minutes (we've been there), then put one person on cocktail-making duty and the other on food.

6. Dance like no-one's watching (literally)
You know the absolute buzz you get from dancing up a storm in your sitting room to some random Spice Girls song? Well, the folks at Soda Bread Box are all about that. You can head along to their dance nights every Monday, pay a fiver on the door and dance for an hour in TOTAL darkness to some seriously epic tunes. Their rules? "No lights, no alcohol, dance your socks off."

Reports are circulating today that Taryn Manning was involved in a serious altercation with her make-up artist, Holly Hartman.

According to TMZ, the 37-year-old actress has been accused of attacking Holly, headbutting her as well as putting her in a headlock.

In scenes that sound like a particularly dark scene from Orange is the New Black, the incident allegedly occurred in Taryn's New York home in November.

Holly has since filed a restraining order against the actress but her request was subsequently rejected.

"The court has already denied the request by Ms. Hartman for a temporary restraining order. The application for the order is suspect because Ms. Manning has had no contact with Ms. Hartman in many months," Taryn's legal team has since told People magazine.

In a bizarre twist to this tale, this is not the first altercation between the duo who were one described as lifelong friends.

Taryn was actually arrested back in 2012 for alleged assault against her supposed pal, though these charges were later dropped.

However, since then there seems to have been an increasing amount of issues developing between the two.

"Ms. Hartman is under investigation for stalking Ms. Manning and for theft and other crimes. It is clear that Ms. Hartman's camp has leaked these allegations which were not available publicly to elevate her own position and obscure her own wrong doing."

Bonkers.

Rita Ora may be known for her daring and sometimes questionable taste in fashion but she is also no scaredy-cat when it comes to showing off skin.

So this topless magazine cover will probably not come as much as a shock.

Except, perhaps for the fact that she has her nips out intentionally rather than accidentally (yeah, we went there).

Rita graces the cover of adult entertainment publication Lui Magazine, the very magazine that Rihanna also unleashed her nips for.

Donning her signature red lip and Marilyn Monroe hair, we have to admit that she looks amazing (you can see an uncensored version of the snap on Lui's Twitter).

However, the cover is already gaining some controversy not over the photo but rather over who took the photo.

The snap was taken by photographer Terry Richardson, the fashion photographer who has previously been subject to some seriously shady accusations.

He came under scrutiny after he was accused of coercing models into uncomfortable sexual positions and encouraging women to engage in sexual acts with him.

While the jury is still out on Terry, this snap does make Rita look suitably stun.

We reckon 2016 could be Leonardo DiCaprio's year for the long-awaited Oscar win, now that he has the Pope putting in a good word for him with the man upstairs.

Okay, it's highly unlikely that the actor discussed his chances at the Academy Awards with Pope Francis when the pair met this week, but still, we can dream.

Leonardo had a 15-minute private audience with His Holiness at The Vatican yesterday, during which the pair reportedly chatted about environmental issues – and 15th century painters.

Turns out little Leo was a cultural know-it-all from an early age, as he revealed when giving the Pope a book of paintings by renowned Dutch artist Hieronymus Bosch.

Pointing to Bosch's famous Garden Of Earthly Delights, Leo explained that it was "hanging over my crib as a young boy," and that nowadays it still inspires him.

Leo even brushed up on his Italian for the big meeting, thanking the Pope in Italy's native tongue. Of course, he may well already have had a few words in italiano, as the actor's father hails from Naples.

Meanwhile, Leo's latest film The Revenant has been doing a killing at the box office, taking in a whopping €200m in its first week.

And with a blessing from the Pope, we're sure there's more good luck to come.
