Momentum for Leo's Oscar win has been building for weeks now. So much so that an Irish Facebook group was made under the name, "If Leo wins the Oscar, everyone meet at the Spire."

Now, even with our own small parties, times and places can get muddled up and it can be a big mess, but one man made his mess public… to 15,000 people.

Joe.ie noticed that poor Ian Colton showed up at the Spire in Dublin this morning at 6am, only to be left alone in the cold.

Understandably, he was a bit annoyed and wrote on the FB group, "Lads WTF? I was there by myself since it was announced?"

But then Ian realised his mix-up when one woman commented, "doesn't it start at 6pm?" Ooops!

We're still feeling for the poor lad, he must have been freezing standing at the Spire all alone. Don't worry Ian, we'll all be there later.

Four years ago, Sacha Baron Cohen rocked up to the Oscars red carpet sporting his Dictator get-up – and then proceeded to spill ash all over Ryan Seacrest's fancy suit.

And after all these years, it seems that Ryan hasn't forgot about it.

While looking for people to interview last night, the presenter spotted Sacha (who dressed up as Ali G) and quickly told his people, "no, no, no," reports the Daily Mail.

The comedian joked about the snub later in the night before going back over to Ryan and interrupting another interview so he could give the disgruntled host a hug.

Sacha is known to cause a lot of grief – it's how he made his fame – but we're guessing these two will never be friends.

Blac Chnya is blowing up all over the Internet lately, with her relationship flourishing with Rob Kardashian and her multiple arrests, but for once the model has gotten away scot free.

Paige Maddison, a reality star in America, was driving Blac's car when it crashed and injured three girls inside, reports TMZ.

Witnesses say that the reality star ran out of Blac Chyna's car and bailed, only to confess to the police a few days later.

The LA police charged Paige with a felony hit and run for the crash – which took place last November – and while she wasn't arrested at first because the police were still working on the investigation, she soon fled when the LAPD tried to find her.

And as for Blac Chyna? Her car is wanted again by the police to futher their investigation.

Everyone is swearing she wasn't there at the time of the crash, but looking at her BMW we'd say she's not too happy about the whole thing.

Metallics and spring pastel palettes ruled on last night's Oscars red carpet, and while not everyone got it right, there were a few drop-dead gorgeous looks.

One style winner was Saoirse Ronan, who can rest easy knowing that she made it to the top of many a Best Dressed list today, even if she didn't go home with a Best Actress gong.

The 21-year-old looked breathtaking in a custom-made emerald green Calvin Klein gown, which she said was a nod to her "Irish heritage."

Of course, she wasn't the only one turning heads last night – here's a look at the best and worst of the Academy Awards red carpet.

The Hits

Lady Gaga
Gaga's white ensemble looked like a standard gown from the back, but from the front it was a killer jumpsuit. Love.

Jennifer Lawrence
That sheer neckline tho. J-Law worked it in Dior as always:

Mindy Kaling
Mindy went for understated elegance in a black bodycon number with cobalt blue sleeves and a flowing train.

Pharrel and Helen Lasichanh
Couples' style goals right here:

Margot Robbie
Like Saoirse, Margot went for full-on metallics in a shimmering gold number. While she ran the risk of looking like an Oscars statuette, the risk totally paid off.

Andra Day
The soul singer took things back to a simpler era with a touch of Fifties glamour. If only we could look that perfect in pale yellow…

Sophie Turner
Sophie let her bold red locks do the talking last night, keeping her colour palette neutral in a silver-grey dress and shoes, accessorised with a diamond choker.

The Misses

Kate Winslet
We love you Kate, but that shimmering black fabric is doing nothing for you. Very Debs dress circa 2003…

Alicia Vikander
The puff-ball bottom is retro gone wrong, and the sequin detailing adds nothing. A no from us.- but Alicia took home the Best Supporting Actress trophy so it's not all bad.

Heidi Klum
Heidi rocked up in a what is basically a nightdress, and while we love the pale lavender colour, it's just not an Oscars look.

For only one night, the Oscars sure bring a lot of drama to the table, and on that table is a love triangle.

Sam Smith won an Oscar last night for Best Original Song, and someone seriously rained on his parade afterwards.

Taking to the stage, Sam said, "I read an article a few months ago by Sir Ian McKellen and he said no openly gay man had won an Oscar.

"If this is the case, I want to dedicate this to the LGBT community around the world."

However, Sam was wrong as Dustin Lance Black – also openly gay – won Best Original Screenplay in 2009.

Justin was obviously a little pissed off at what Sam said, and took to Twitter to shame the singer.

He wrote, "Hey @SamSmithWorld, if you have no idea who I am, it may be time to stop texting my fiancé." Ouch.

Justin is engaged to swimmer Tom Daley, and we can't help but think there's a small love triangle going on here.

We hardly believed it ourselves when rumours started about Liam Payne and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, but they dropped some huge hints over the weekend to 'confirm' their relationship.

And some eagle-eyed fans have even spotted their flirty social media messages to each other online.

Cheryl shared a photo of herself on Instagram ahead of the BRIT awards last week, where she posed in a black and white filter with green eyes photoshopped in.

And while her fans thought she looked smoking hot, they weren't the only ones:

Liam decided to leave a comment and said, "see you there babe," along with a cheeky smiley face.

He also left a string of kissy faces, which have since been deleted – but not before fans took screenshots of the comments first.

This comes after a weekend together where they went shopping in Tesco and Liam changed his IG profile to that of him and his new love looking mighty cosy.

And as we've all come to understand now, the minute things heat up in the love section for a One Direction boy, the fans aren't too happy about it.

Cheryl has obviously been receiving a lot of hate so to slam the online trolls, she changed her IG bio.

"When people hate on you, it's because you've got something they want," reports The Mirror and shortly followed it with, "All love, good vibes only."

We get it Cheryl, he's your man. What do you think of their new relationship? We're still undecided.

Every award show has a few awkward moments, but Stacey Dash truly took the biscuit for last night's Oscar awards.

The audience was left in shock when host Chris Rock invited Stacey onto the stage – while he continued to poke fun at the all-white nominations controversy.

Stacey recently said that Black History Moth should be scrapped, and while she shamelessly walked onto the stage.

We think Chris meant for it to be a light-hearted ha-ha moment – but the reaction from Chrissy Teigen was absolutely everything.

She made the face that everyone was feeling, and it got caught right on camera.

Chris introduced her as "the new director of our minority outreach program", and Stacey was met by complete silence going on stage.

Even though the joke fell completely flat, we have full appreciation for Chrissy's face.

This year's Oscar Awards have been right in the middle of a race row, and to make matters worse last night someone mistook Whoopi Goldberg for Oprah Winfrey. #Fail.

A beauty company associated with the awards we're in the middle of all of the glitz and glam on the red carpet but they completely put their foot in it and felt the wrath shortly after.

While the celebs arrived on the red carpet, the beauty company, Total Beauty tweeted, praising 'Oprah' for her secret tattoos.

Many fans copped on straight away, and were rightfully quite angry. The hashtag #ThatsNotOprah even started to trend.

The company soon had to issue an apology tweet saying: "We'd like to apologise to Oprah and Whoopi, as well as everyone we've offended. It was our error, and there are no excuses. We're sorry."

Ouch, better luck next time.

Hurrah! Leo DiCarprio has finally won his first Oscar.

After four previous attempts, the Revenant star picked up the gong for Best Actor… while leaving his Titanic co-star, Kate Winslet in tears.

She was one of the first to congratulate him as he took to the stage after his name was called out, and while he gave his speech, Kate was seen with tears rolling down her face.

And while we're all delighted Leo won his award, his speech was something no one expected. He spoke about climate change.

"Making The Revenant was about man's relationship to the natural world…climate change is real,' said Leo.

"It is happening right now. It is the most urgent threat facing our entire species and we need to work collectively together and stop procrastinating.

"Let us not take our planet for granted," he concluded. "I do not take tonight for granted."

Yes, we know it's a bg issue but we didn't expect him to get down to it on the biggest night of his life.

But, sure look, we're over the moon for him.

Reports came in today that if you have a first edition Harry Potter book, then you could be holding some cash in the attic.

And now, our childhoods are being very kind to us as old Pokemon cards could be worth a few bob, too.

It's been 20 years (yes, 20) since Pokemon was on our screens and let's be honest, we were all a part of the cult.

Well, have a rummage in your childhood belongings because if you have a Illustrator card, it's worth $100,000 (€91,000).

Holographic Charizards cards of Japanese origin could also be worth up to $30,000 (€27,000).

Apart from that, Mashable reports that some cards sold on eBay for €12 (not much in comparison, we know) and Shadowless cards go for €45 a piece in auctions.

Now, where did we put them?

We all know there exists a pretty special bond between teenage girls and their doting dads, so it's no real surprise to learn the lengths a concerned father will go to protect his beloved daughter from possible danger and potential suitors, but it looks like Gordon Ramsery takes the biscuit.

The famous dad, who has no qualms about revealing the extent of his mission to protect his daughter from harm, opened up during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live and admitted that he enlists the help of his son in order to keep her on the straight and narrow.

Giving an insight into Ramsey family life, the acclaimed TV chef acknowledged that the life of a teenage girl is peppered with mystery, telling host Jimmy: "Not many boyfriends come around. They don't come up to the house. 17 is a tough age. You are getting used to things happening, growing, kissing and so on."

Determined not to let anything get in the way of his desire to keep an eye on his daughter, Gordon admitted that he gives his only son, 16-year-old Jack, £100 a week to spy on his 17-year-old sister Megan.

The father-of-four happily opened up about the plan he hatched with his son, telling the audience: "So I said to my mate Jack, there's £100 a week, keep me updated. Let me know about any photos online and we'll go online and hijack it."

We can only imagine what Megan's response will be when she learns of her dad and brother's sneaky ways!

It took the whole world by storm when it premiered on Netflix over Christmas, and now it seems it's not the end to Making A Murderer.

The series directors, directors Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos said that they're beginning to work on the follow-up.

While speaking at a panel discussion in New York's IFC Center, Laura said, "From our perspective this story is obviously not over. It’s real life and the cases are both still pending.

"We have no idea when the magistrate will make a decision in Brendan’s case. We do know that two potential outcomes are that the judge could order Brendan’s release or he could order a new trial. To the extent that there are significant developments, we would like to continue documenting this."

It might not be here as soon as we'd like though, Steven's civil lawyer, Stephen Glynn, was at the same panel and said that there are still difficulties in their way.

"There is a lot of hostility toward these two women in Wisconsin. The theory is that have played Wisconsin unfairly. But among those people who think and are a little more educated and thoughtful about these sorts of issues, there is appreciation."

After a brilliant first season, we just want to see what happens next with Steven and Brendan's cases.
