Along with sharing snaps of icy cold tipples and pre-holiday pints, more than a few of us are guilty of uploading a snap of our boarding pass before we ditch Ireland for sunnier climes.

Well, it looks like we could be unwittingly leading ourselves into a world of trouble if those snaps got into the wrong hands.

Honouring the pre-holiday ritual with a photo of your documentation should be a no-go according to experts with KrebsOnSecurity.

Strongly advising travellers against the practice, they said: “Two-dimensional barcodes and QR codes can hold a great deal of information."

According to a report in The Independent: "The codes printed on airline boarding passes may allow someone to discover more about you, your future travel plans, and your frequent flyer account.”

Stick with a pic of the pre-holiday pint from now on, ladies.

Fearne Cotton is damn near perfect-looking from where we’re standing, but that doesn’t mean the popular TV and radio presenter doesn’t have her own personal hang-ups.

Taking to Instagram this weekend, the Celebrity Juice star revealed she’s undergoing a bit of a change on the looks front, and is currently rocking a set of clear plastic braces.

Baring her teeth for her millions of fans and followers, the mum-of-two joked that she’s ‘embracing’ the new look. (We totes see what you did there, Fearne.)

Fearne has been inundated with positive messages since the upload, with one fan of the star, writing: “I am 29 and just gone Invisalign yesterday”

“Feeling the pain today but I know the results will be amazing! Good luck. Adult braces are definitely becoming more popular,” she reassured Fearne.

Instagram users were all over the photo, which has clocked up more than 7,000 likes in less than 24 hours, with another member of the public writing:” Good for you Fern! The best thing I ever did at 30! It will go so quickly!”

We wish we had looked as cool as Fearne in our ones..

High School Musical will always have a special place in our hearts, but it doesn’t look like the same can be said for Zac Efron.

The actor, who declined to appear at the film’s 10th anniversary, recently revealed that he has little time for the actor who played Trey Bolton in the popular film franchise.

Speaking to Men’s Fitness, the 28-year-old actor who has struggled to shed the cheesy HSM image said: ”I step back and look at myself and I still want to kick that guy’s ass sometimes.”

Sounding incredibly reluctant to praise the role which earned him millions of fans, Zac continued: “He’s done some kind of cool things with some cool people, he did that one thing [Neighbours] that was funny, but I mean he’s still just that f*cking kid from High School Musical.”

Really hammering the point home as he reflected on the impact the films have had since the initial release in 2006, the Dirty Grandpa added: “Like, f*ck that guy.”

Well, that’s us told then.

Bumping into a cast member of one of the biggest shows on TV right now would put a pep in anyone’ step, right?

So, we can only imagine how BUZZING some House of Cards fans were this weekend when they got the opportunity to pose for a selfie with none other than Frank Underwood’s wingman.

Michael Kelly, who plays Doug Stamper in the hit series, was getting his draaank on at several locations around Dublin city, and according to reports he was pure sound.

Dissension Rising, a band from Co. Kildare who are currently touring in the States, have been lauded after saving the lives of a family trapped in the basement of a burning building in New Jersey.

After waking to the sound of a fire alarm, the band members escaped the house they were staying in, but realised a number of other people were trapped in a basement apartment.

According to reports, the musicians, who are aged between 17 and 21, sprang into action and helped more than a dozen people, including a baby and three children, to safety.

While the fire, which took 27 firefighters to extinguish, caused significant damage, thankfully no one sustained injuries in spite of the blaze.

Commenting on the band’s quick thinking, one of those saved said: “If Dissension Rising hadn’t spent the night at Dane’s house, my son would be dead today.”

“They saved everyone in the house. I will always be indebted to this band. God bless you guys,” she added.

Dissension Rising, which is made up of 17-year-old Kian Johnston, 18-year-old Danni Carroll, 20-year-old Rob Higgins and 21-year-old Keith Garrett, have established a GoFundMe page in order to help the victims of the blaze.

Highlighting the severity of the situation, the band wrote: “They are in dire need of support so they can rebuild and get on their feet again.”

Far be it from us to suggest that former Geordie Shore star, Ricci Guarnaccio, is telling tall tales with this one, but we’re struggling here, ladies…

According to the former reality TV star, he has gotten up close and personal with one of Britian’s most highly-regarded actresses and he's more than happy to tell everyone about it.

Spilling the details over the weekend, the Newcastle lad claimed that he and Sheridan Smith are more than just passing acquaintances.

That’s right, Vicky Pattison’s ex-fiancé has insisted that he and the Bafta Award-winning actress hooked up after getting to know each other on Twitter in 2014.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, 29-year-old Ricci – gentlemanly as always – said: “Sheridan was the one who sent me a message on Twitter and then she came to my room after we got chatting.”

Oh and he didn’t stop there, obvs.

Reminding the public that he likes to indulge in the odd tipple from time to time, Ricci continued: ”It definitely wouldn’t have happened if we had not been drunk…We didn’t have deep emotional conversations.”

Well, thanks for that one Ricci.

It sounds like life couldn’t get any better for Adele right now.

According to emerging reports, the When We Were Young singer is about to make history by signing a deal with Sony Music for a whopping £90 million.

The deal, which is said to be the biggest in history for a British musician, has Sony bosses falling all over themselves this week, with a source confirming: “We’ve secured Adele who’s without a doubt the biggest music star in a generation. This is massive.”

According to The Guardian, the news comes after the Londoner’s deal with her original label, XL, expired.

“The deal is being worked on by our Colombia label in the US, but is worth £90 million and gives the rights to release her future music exclusively around the world,” added the insider.

If the reports are indeed true, this will mark the biggest deal for a female artist in history.

Go on, Adele!

Just days after announcing she was expecting her first child, former Celebrity Big Brother contestant Stephanie Davis has been the victim of a shocking assault in Liverpool.

 According to reports, Stephanie, who played Sinead O’Connor in Hollyoaks, was attacked and pushed to the ground by a passerby in a Liverpool carpark over the weekend.

Inexplicably proud of his behaviour, the individual responsible for Stephanie’s assault made the shocking decision to post photographs of the actress lying in the foetal position on social media.

In a post which was uploaded to Twitter but since deleted, Stephanie’s attacker wrote: “Just rock bottomed that big brother s**g, pass it on.”

In light of her daughter’s horrifying treatment at the hands of a stranger, Pauline Davis has taken to Twitter to slam Steph’s attacker, writing:  ”You lowlife for assaulting a pregnant woman.#gettingchargedmate #witnesses.”

Stephanie’s family has said that the star has been left ‘traumatised’ by the incident, and insist they will be taking the incident further.

Christy Moore is a legend. No questions asked.

He appeared on the Late Late Show last night, and while chatting to Ryan, told him a little bit about when Ed came to Dublin.

Christy said that Ed wanted him to play at his concert, but Christy declined since Ed has such a young audience (We totally would have LOVED that, though).

He also described him as "a lovely young man" and admitted that he showed him how to play The Molly Malone, which Ed actually performed while in Dublin.

The Dubliner added that Mr Sheeran is "very very special," and we just think every working relationship should be like this.

There will always be a Breaking Bad shaped hole in our hearts since the show ended in 2013.

But, it gives us joy to know that Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are still BFFs.

The pair met up to do a skit on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and it was possibly the best reunion we've seen in years.

To mark Bryan's 60th birthday, the lads did a Super Sweet 60 video, taking the mick from the old MTV TV show Super Sweet 16.

At one point in the 15 minute segment, the former Malcom in the Middle star wears five crowns, stacked on top of each other, and begins to cry.

Watch and laugh… and then cry because it's all over.

And back in the day, we'd totally get down to London Bridge or GLAMOROUS – but her new track is something we can see partying to on a Saturday night.

MILF Money comes complete with a deadly black and white colour scheme and very futuristic editing which makes it cool AF.

There's something a bit darker and mature about this one compared to her previous stuff and we have to say, we like the way it's going.

Scott Disick's LA mansion has been broken into while the reality star has been partying away in Cannes.

TMZ reports that a significant amount of money was stolen from his home, as well as jewellery and watches worth a sizable sum.

One of the watches reportedly cost $48,000 (€43,000), and a Rolex Yacht-Master II which is valued at $32,000 (€29,000) was taken as well.

While it is not yet known how much was robbed in total, law enforcement sources say it was "a significant amount of money."

However, the police source also claims that the thief was someone close to Scott as there were no signs of forced into his Hidden Hills home.
