We all know the saying 'like mother like daughter,' but this parental resemblance is next-level bizarre.

Reese Witherspoon took to Instagram this week, to share a picture of herself and her daughter Ava, and the Internet is going wild!

Captioned "mother daughter time," the post shows a close-up selfie of the two blondes, looking TOTALLY identical.

Ever get the itch to bitch but think it’s better to hold that frustration inside?

Well, according to the experts, from now on it might be better for your health and your friendships to share those not so nice thoughts with others.

According to Marie Claire, social psychologists have discovered that having a good rant can be therapeutic and is essential when it comes to bonding with friends.

Dr Jenny Cole told the mag: “When we talk about someone behind their back, an emotional bond develops with the person we’re speaking to.”

“And that bond is stronger when the information is negative…Because it’s riskier to share a negative view, so the trust between you and that person becomes greater.”

As it turns out, bitching is not a new social phenomenon by any means and actually goes way back to when we first evolved from primates and learned to speak.

Dr Cole believes gossiping replaced grooming (a means by which apes bond) as a key form of social interaction – so the next time you catch yourself having a little rant, you could say it's a natural thing?

But before anyone takes the news to the extreme and goes on a total bitching spree altogether, it might be worth noting that, like anything, when taken too far gossiping can be damaging.

Oxford Professor Robin Dunbar warns: “Carried to extremes, [bitching] can of course be harmful.”

“But I think its primary function is to maintain the stability of the little community you belong to by establishing a collective view.”

“If so-and-so is behaving in a way you think is wrong, you hope eventually they’ll get to hear of it through the group.”

Sounds like it's time to get the girls over for a little chat!

With Stephanie Davis revealing her baby bump for the first time during an emotional interview with OK! magazine this week, it looks like Jeremy McConnell is starting to feel the pressure.

Having admitted that her ex-boyfriend's attitude towards her and their relationship left her feeling suicidal, Stephanie definitely didn't hold back when reflecting on the last seven months of this year.

And it looks like the publicity surrounding Stephanie's exclusive interview has lit a fire under the Dubliner who took to social media today to address the issue.

Reiterating his perspective on the situation which kept Big Brother viewers gripped for weeks, Jeremy wrote: "Everything will be dealt with accordingly and mature, but a baby doesn't fix a toxic relationship. End of discussion."

But if Jeremy was looking for support, he was sorely disappointed as irate Twitter users wasted no time calling him out on the rumours which circulated during his time with Stephanie.

"U hit the nail on the dead there. He made the relationship toxic sleeping around," wrote one while another added "Being mature would be having a conversation with each other not over Twitter."

"Shame it's taken her to go through hell and expose her bump to make you care!!" slammed another. "Not too late though love."

With both parties appearing to only communicate with each other through social media, we can't see this situation being resolved any time soon.

Let's face it, one of the easiest ways to initiate a rip-roaring debate among your peers is to question the validity of the Irish language in modern society, and watch as normally mild-mannered people dig their heels in and argue the toss over the first official language of the Republic.

While a number of us admit we barely have cúpla focal after 12 years learning the language, others insist it's up to us to keep the Irish language alive – a difference of opinion which really came to the fore on social media over the past week.

With 62 Irish-language translator positions currently available with the EU, Publicjobs took to Facebook to remind potential candidates that the deadline for these 'well remunerated positions' was looming, and it's definitely rubbed a number of people up the wrong way.

Commenting on the position which boasts a salary of approximately €52,000 per year, one Facebook user wrote: "Waste of money that could be well spend somewhere else,"

"What's the point, we speak English in Ireland everywhere – schools, work, pubs, doctors, hospitals…unless everyone starts speaking Irish, it is a total waste of money on translations."

"The Irish language is an integral part of our heritage," argued another. "Although it is not as widely spoken as I would like it to be I hear the cúpla focal spoken almost every day at work. I think it's very important to do everything we can to keep it alive."

Cited as a 'great entry point into different careers within the European Union', social media users have taken umbrage with the suggestion that those fluent in the language will have better options in the future.

"Only problem is the people who get the jobs will be connected and have the pull. A lot of the best candidates won't be considered because of their background," argued another.

Insistent that the debate has more to do with the actual job and less to do with the language, another wrote; "It's not about reading and speaking Irish"

"It's about paying people to do a pointless job; no Irish MEP needs anything translated into Irish, since they all speak fluent English. That is a cynical abuse of EU taxpayer's money."

The post has been inundated with comments since it was published last week with debate continuing to rage on Facebook today.

And – according to the Royal household’s website – the new KP will also experience “the feeling of satisfaction from helping to deliver a spotless service”.

No experience is necessary for the job as training will be provided to ensure you can polish cutlery that really is fit for a queen.

“I feel as though I’m kind of prepared to do it now. If it had been any time sooner than this, I either wouldn’t be responsible enough or have been able to take on this kind of feat,” she said.

Ever order fast food and sit there waiting for it to arrive thinking it just isn't fast enough?

Well it looks like that feeling could soon be a thing of the past as the world's first 3D pizza printer is on the way and it is set to change everything.

According to Fast Casual, the people who invented NASA's first 3D food printing robot Beehex have developed a pizza printing prototype which can create oven-ready pizzas in any shape imaginable in less than four minutes.

And as if that isn't enough, Beehex is also working on a 3D food printing kiosk which can create and bake one pizza pie ever 60 seconds – that's a lot of pizza.

These pizza gods have left chef Pasquale Cozzolino in charge of sourcing the right base, sauce and cheese for the printer and it seems he's going all out on finding the very best ingredients for the project by importing tomatoes from Mount Vesuvius and mozzarella from Italian cows.

Pasquale – who owns restaurants in New York and Atlanta – also intends to use 80-year-old yeast for the dough – fancy!

Because the pizzas will be ready within minutes and should be available to order by app, this new venture could change how we eat pizza forever.

Oh the possibilities…

If your social media feeds have been awash with Pokémon Go memes and you have no idea why, you’re not alone.

While many of us assumed Pokémon was the reserve of our childhood and as likely as light-up runners and rip-off tracksuit bottoms to rear its head again, this past weekend has proven just how wrong we were.

So, what’s the 411 exactly?

Basically, Pokémon Go allows people to catch Pokémon in real life with the help of augmented reality, and has proven so popular after initially being rolled out in Australia and New Zealand, its UK and international release have been delayed due to technical issues.

The game, which is a free-to-play mobile game, allows players to capture, battle, train and trade virtual Pokémon who appear around the world, and has basically sent every die-hard Pokémon fan over the edge.

While the creators – Niantic Labs – had anticipated interest in Pokémon’s first foray into the mobile world, they weren’t expecting servers would crash as a result of the hype surrounding the game.

According to Forbes, despite the fact it has yet to be released world-wide, the newly-released game is set to surpass Twitter in daily active users on Android.

Figures indicate that within 48 hours of its release, Pokémon Go had been installed on 5.6 percent of all Android devices in the US – making it more popular than Tinder.

Now just imagine what will happen when it actually goes global…

When the chips are down, there's no one quite like our Irish mammies.

But while the rest of the world imagines we all live with an extra-friendly version of Mrs. Doyle, people who have been brought up by an Irish mammy know that you cross them at your peril.

They might turn a blind eye to the odd drunken misdemeanour or pretend to ignore the fact you've forgotten to turn off the immersion, but when it comes to their childrens' personal upkeep, there's no room for manoeuvre,

Going out with the hem of your jeans trailing behind you or forgetting to 'give your shoes a wipe' before a big occasion are cardinal sins in the eyes of any upstanding Irish mammy.

And while all us girls have had our mothers eyeball the fraying, greyish strap of our bra, we've yet to see them take a scissors to one, so our thoughts go out to Lee who had his jocks shredded by his mam who was mortified by the number of holes she found in them.

For anyone who's not sure what makes an Irish Mammy so unique, here's your answer.

Turning 30 can be a stressful time.

Leaving your twenties behind and facing into a future which includes talk of mortgages and pensions would be enough to send anyone over the edge, but when you're best known for your wild child ways, the pressure can really get to you as Lindsay Lohan demonstrated this weekend.

Having jetted off to Mykonos to ring in her third decade, it looks like Lindsay didn't exactly have the idyllic loved-up trip she was anticipating and instead found herself embroiled in a heated row with her other half.

According to reports, the actress and Egor Tarabasov exchanged words on Rakkan beach after Lindsay came across a text on Egor's phone, and then, ladies, it all went to hell in a bucket.

A photo posted by Lindsay Lohan (@lindsaylohan) on

After Lindsay flung her fiancé's phone into the sea – we know! – Egor retaliated by pouring a drink over Lindsay before security stepped in and attempted to defuse the situation.

Commenting on the scene, an onlooker told The Sun: "Everything was fine between them before something on Egor's phone upset Lindsay."

"They then started shouting and screaming at each other," they continued. "Lindsay threw his phone in the sea, she looked absolutely furious"

"The security at the beach club had to pull them apart and Lindsay left in her car while Egor went back to the party," they added.

The Mean Girls actress appeared to reference the incident on Instagram over the weekend, writing: "Falling in love in exhausting …Especially when you're the older woman and have already seen it all. #love is the most important thing at the end of the day #serenity"

While some onlookers admit they were stunned by the display, others argued that the incident wasn't as serious as it appeared.

We're not here to judge but if a phone ends up at the bottom of the ocean, there would want to be a pretty good reason.
