We all know the deal when we get a dodgy hair cut or colour… it feels like wherever we go, people are looking at the travesty on the top of our heads.

A Dublin man, who is set to appear on tonight's Body Fixers has been described as a "nightmare" contestant all because of his new hairstyle.

The aim of the E4 show is to give people a makeover on certain parts of their body that they're not happy with.

However, when Alan McGarry-Love went on, he didn't love his final look. In fact, he hated it.

The Ballyfermot native has been dying his ginger hair black every week for years now, so he went on the show in order to fall in love with his natural do'.

But, he told Breakfast Republic that he wouldn't even leave the studio with his updated gruaige.

"I'm probably the most controversial person they've ever had on the show. I wasn't very happy with my look – I probably shouldn't say that.

"Everyone who's been on the show – the main cast – have been tweeting saying 'the nightmare comes on the show tonight', which is obviously me," he said.

"When I saw the look, it was my instant reaction… I was traumatised when I saw it… all I saw was Worzel Gummidge.

"I wouldn't leave the studio. They were demanding that I leave because my flight was in three hours time. I wasn't leaving. I made sure I went back to black… I didn't leave on good terms."

We think we're in for some drama tonight, ladies!

Tobey Maguire has called it quits with his wife of nine years.

Tobey married jewellery designer Jennifer Meyer in 2007 and they have two children, Ruby, 9, and Otis, 7, together.

The couple told People: "After much soul searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple.

"As devoted parents, our first priority remains raising our children together with enduring live, respect and friendship."

The statement doesn't mention if they're divorcing, and it's still unclear if either party have filed legal papers yet.

Congratulations are in order for Scandal actress Kerry Washington – she has just welcomed her second child!

E! News reports that Kerry and her hubby Nnamdi Asomugha, welcomed a little baby boy into the world on October 5.

"I just feel blessed that I'm kind of living an extraordinary life. Dreams come true in my work life and in my personal life," she told Los Angeles Times.

First, there was the controversial arrival of Tayto Cheese & Onion chocolate; we've tasted the bars (not to mention the Easter eggs) and they are, ahem, a definite conversation-starter.

A strange concoction of sweet, salt, and cheese, yesterday SHEmazing! seemingly spotted on social media the latest incarnation of the fried-potato-chocolate-twist genre.

Step forward the Maltayto: that distinctive malt-crumb crispy centre covered in Tayto Cheese & Onion chocolate, surely?

Upon closer inspection, however, we realised it was only the messers over at Waterford Whispers News.

Still, the concept is an entirely solid one – and we reckon it would be mega-popular for Christmas.

What do you think?

If you've been to an Adele concert this year (lucky you) then you'll know that at the end, cannons of confetti explode all over the stadium with little notes written by Adele herself.

They either say things like, "everybody loves the things you do," and "we could of had it all," to cute, "thanks for coming xo," messages on white paper.

They add a special touch to her gigs, however when she was in Nashville this week, a few pink pieces of paper fell down.

The concert in Nashville was on the same day that marked Adele's five year anniversary with her partner Simon Konecki, and he was the genius behind adding in the little pink notes.

He wrote swoon-worthy things like, "you are an angel," "I love you," "Happy anniversary," and "love you long time," on them.

Aw lads, what a boyfriend to have!

Olly Murs has come under fire after he cancelled a performance and then turned up at a football match just hours later.

The singer was scheduled to perform at the Heroes Parade in Manchester, but his rep said he had to cancel due to "extenuating circumstances."

But were those "circumstances" a footie match in Liverpool?

He was snapped cheering on Manchester United in Anfield Football Stadium on Monday as the parade went ahead without him.

And as you can guess, his fans are not happy. One Twitter user wrote, "Very disappointed in Olly. Had a horrible feeling he would go to the match after letting Heroes Parade down."

However, his rep has come back and said that the match had nothing to do with the former Xtra Factor host not performing.

"He was always planning to go there after. It has got nothing to do with the reason why he didn't perform."

Hmmm, we still don't think it was a great move!

There’s something about the Victorian era and Halloween that just go hand-in-hand, so we are all over the pop-up fun park which is opening its doors in Dublin’s St Patrick Park this month.

The Victorian attraction, which will feature world class street-performers, traditional rides, olde-worlde games and a Victorian Photo studio, is the perfect way to kick off the Halloween weekend with younger members of the family.

Set against one of the city’s most breathtaking cathedrals, Stokerland is, as part of the Bram Stoker Festival, giving the public the opportunity to experience Halloween through the eyes of a child in the 1800s.

Running from 11 to 4.30pm on the last Saturday and Sunday of the month, this family-friendly event combines good clean fun with.. well… the horror that is Halloween.

Oh, and did we mention it’s FREE?!

Look, we'll be honest, we generally approach Vogue's '73 Questions' segment with more than a little trepidation.

The rapid-fire nature of the interview means the chosen celebrity has only mere moments to make an impact, and what if our favourite celebrity absolutely fluffs it?!

Thankfully for us. Emma Stone – the latest celeb to lead the style bible team through her LA home – absolutely nailed it.

From revealing she used to bake dog treats in a dog bakery to admitting she doesn't have a style icon, Emma reminded us that when it comes to Hollywood A-listers, this girl is refreshingly down to earth.

Oh, and that Britney Spears impression? Absolutely flawless.

The Barrys Vs Lyons tea debate has been ongoing for YEARS now.

Some people side with the warmth and comfort of Barrys and others opt for the rich and relaxing taste of Lyons.

It's divided the country, but Trinity College has found a way to settle that debate with one of the most brilliant ideas ever.

Healthy Trinity is a new initiative the college has kicked off in order for their students to live a more balanced lifestyle. One task they want to conquer is no-smoking areas, so in certain areas around the campus, they've introduced Ballot Bins.

These bins ask students about various topics and they then throw their cigarette butts into whichever side of the bin they agree with.

They mostly stick to college issues, but their latest question took on the Barrys vs Lyons tea debate, and the outcome is pretty close!

We think it's neck and neck here! What would you choose?

Earlier this year London gained itself a restaurant with a difference when The Bunyadi stripped open its doors in Elephant and Castle.

Offering diners the opportunity to eat completely naked, the adventurous pop-up quickly became a resounding success and so its owners have decided to spread the nude experience.

According to the Evening Standard, the venue’s founder, Seb Lyall, is currently hunting for a new site in the British capital to allow more foodies the unique opportunity to dine naked by candlelight.

As with the pilot project, diners will be given a locker and robe before having their phones confiscated.

They will then be seated at a discreet table, where they can choose to protect their dignity or drop the robe altogether.

Amanda Seyfried recently made the decision to openly discuss her reliance on anti-depressant medication during an interview with Allure magazine in a move which is bound to resonate with fans suffering from the same condition as the much-loved Hollywood star.

While explaining that she chose not to install a stove in her guest house, she reasoned that it was likely due to her need for control – something which she feels stems from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

Explaining that she manages the condition with the help of medication, Amanda insists she had no intention of weaning herself off it.

"I'm on Lexapro, and I'll never get off of it," she explained. "I've been on it since I was 19, so 11 years."

"I'm on the lowest dose. I don't see the point of getting off of it. Whether it's placebo or not, I don't want to risk it."

Acknowledging the stigma attached to mental conditions, Amanda insists she refuses to feel shame for controlling symptoms with medication, saying: "And what are you fighting against? Just the stigma of using a tool?"

"A mental illness is a thing that people cast in a different category from other illnesses, but I don't think it is. It should be taken as seriously as anything else."

"You don't see the mental illness: It's not a mass; it's not a cyst," she continued. "But it's there. Why do you need to prove it? If you can treat it, you treat it."
