While Adele recently revealed she would love to give her son Angelo a sibling, it sounds like the much-loved star doesn't intend to rush into it given the struggles she endured following her first pregnancy.

Opening up about her experience of postnatal depression, Adele told Vanity Fair that the months following her son's birth in 2013 have had a lasting impact.

"I had really bad postpartum depression after I had my son and it frightened me," she admitted in the recent interview.

Adele, who turned 28 in May, admitted that her prior knowledge of the condition didn't tally with her experience of it.

"My knowledge of postpartum – or postnatal, as well call it in England – is that you don’t want to be with your child; you’re worried you might hurt your child, you’re worried you weren’t doing a good job."

"But I was obsessed with my child. I felt very inadequate, I felt like I’d made the worst decision of my life… it can come in many different forms," she explained.

Offering an insight into the methods she used to navigate the condition, Adele explained that she allocated a certain time in the week to focus solely on herself.

"Eventually I just said, I’m going to give myself an afternoon a week, just to do whatever the f**k I want without my baby," she said.

"A friend of mine said, ‘Really? Don’t you feel bad?’ I said, I do but not as bad as I’d feel if I didn’t do it," she reasoned.

According to emerging reports, Adele is planning to wed partner of five years Simon Konecki.

Commenting on the union, a source close to the couple said: "They won't make a big song and dance about it, that's not the way either of them are, and you won't see Adele walking around with a huge diamond on her finger flaunting it."

"But they're ready to take the next step and are both very excited about the prospect," they added.

Not long after Cheryl Cole's BFF, Kimberly, implied that her former band mate was currently celebrating some wonderful news, Olly Murs weighed in on the are they/ aren't they discussion, and added serious fuel to the fire.

Having been quizzed about the couple's relationship and potential baby announcement during a recent celeb event, Olly didn't do much to suggest the press and public were barking up the wrong tree when it came to Cheryl's changing figure.

While sounding like he didn't want to reveal too much, Olly still managed to stoke the flames by suggesting an announcement might be on the horizon.

"Honestly, listen, it's Cheryl and Liam's business… all the press are making speculation and rumours, but I'm sure when they feel confident and want to come out and tell everyone they will."

Like Kimberly, Olly was keen to remind people that the couple are entitled to keep any potential news to themselves.

"It's their own business and I'm sure they'll be fantastic parents if they are, so I wish them all the best," he added.

Hmmm, we're thinking Olly knows more than he's letting on.

So, as we all know, Justin Bieber is currently on the Irish leg of his Purpose World Tour.

And while you might assume he'd spend the weekend holed up in his hotel preparing his vocal chords, he was in actual fact topping up his tan in a Grafton Street salon.

After spotting the Canadian star, one Dublin fan decided to ask for a quick photograph… and let's just say it didn't go to plan.

Ignored by the Love Yourself singer on the busy Dublin street, Keith Casey was told repeatedly by the Bieb's bodyguard to give it up, and it sounds like a lot of the general public is with Biebs on this one.

After suggesting that he should have taken no for an answer the first time around, Keith responded to criticism on Instagram.

"For all the negative comments, I was not following Justin Bieber around Dublin! I actually have a life," he began.

"I had finished work and decided to do a sunbed, on my way down the stairs a big black dude (bodyguard) passed me and two seconds later Justin Bieber," Keith explained.

"Once it sank in as to who I just brushed shoulders with I stood outside waiting to ask him for a photo. I was the ony one who knew he was in there and on Grafton St!"

While Keith commended the star's security, he wasn't as complimentary when it came to Biebs himself.

"Justin got aggressive as you can see in my video. No need for it," Keith wrote. "My sister camped outside Ticketmaster for 24 hours to get a ticket to his show and this is is his attitude."

Well Justin, you've only gone and done it now.

Labouring over a college paper is not something many of us have ever relished.

From spending hours in the library researching the topic to pulling an all-nighter to get it in on time, preparing and ultimately completing an essay for university is no mean feat.

So, it's no real surprise that one female student from the States was left gobsmasked when her paper was returned to her with more than a passing implication that the work she handed up was not her own.

Tiffany Martinez took to Facebook to highlight her plight after her college professor suggested she had plagarised her paper by insisting that Tiffany would not have used the word 'hence' of her own accord.

No, seriously.

After being told to 'go back and indicate where she had copied and paste', Tiffany shared an image of the corrected paper online and wrote: "I was hurt badly this morning and publicly humiliated in front of my peers by a professor."

"They assumed I plagiarized my paper because it sounded too scholarly. How many degrees do I need for someone to believe I am an academic?" Tiffany asked.

In a blog post which followed the incident, Tiffany insisted that her professor's impression of the paper was based on her last name.

"My last name and appearance immediately instills a set of biases before I have the chance to open my mouth. These stereotypes and generalizations forced on marginalized communities are at times debilitating and painful," Tiffany wrote in a post which has been shared thousands of times.

"As a minority in my classrooms, I continuously hear my peers and professors use language that both covertly and overtly oppresses the communities I belong to. Therefore, I do not always feel safe when I attempt to advocate for my people in these spaces…My professor assumed someone like me would never use language like that."

"As I stood in the front of the class while a professor challenged my intelligence I could just imagine them reading my paper in their home thinking could someone like her write something like this?"

Tiffany's post has resonated with thousands online, with one social media user writing: "I got an ‘F’ with the word ‘PLAGIARIZED’ written at the top in bold red letters."

"She proceeded to yell at me and tell me to shut up (in front of my peers) when I protested,” they continued. “I’m 30 and I still think of that sometimes."

According to BuzzFeed, Tiffany has not spoken with the professor since the incident, but the incident has been brought to the attention of the chair of Suffolk University’s sociology department, who has launched an investigation.

While we'd happily wear the same top, skirt or pair of jeans as often as we want, there's something about dresses that make us think they're a one-wear garment.

And considering the fact that they can be pretty damn expensive, our logic just doesn't cut it on this front.

So, when YouTubers learned that fashion line, Showpo, had created a dress which changes colour, they understandably fell all over themselves to catch a glimpse of the garment which had the potential to revolutionise a woman's wardrobe.

And, a short time later, were ultimately left feeling pretty let-down.

Commenting on the footage which has wound up thousands in recent days, one member of the public wrote: "So fake, if you really did create this tech why wouldn't you explain it?"

"Possibly couldn't be faker," added another. "Almost instantaneously it reeks of acting, selfie style camera held by DSLR, over the top reactions from all."

So, wanna see what all the fuss is about?

While our own mothers bet us into bin liners and didn't even consider taking part in Halloween festivities, the same can't be said for the Knowles / Carter clan.

In a move which has us wishing our mams and grannies had gotten dickied up alongside us back in the day, Beyoncé has shared footage of the prep which went into their family Halloween.

Opting to go as 90s rapper Salt-N-Pepa, Beyonce, her mum Tina, her daughter Blue Ivy and her husband Jay-Z gave us all serious family goals by taking the theme and running with it.

A video posted by Beyoncé (@beyonce) on

From the oversized shell jackets and the skin-tight lycra leggings to the gold jewellery and accompanying fanny-packs, Bey and the crew put the rest of us to shame.

"They killed it as usual," wrote one fan after checking out Bey's Halloween montage which was  – unsurprisingly – accompanied by Salt-N-Pepa's Push It.

"My fave family… Love u guys till infinity," added another.

Jeez mam, a little imagination wouldn't have gone astray back in our day.

Nothing send us on a diet and exercise guilt-trip quicker than clapping eyes on a parade of Victoria's Secret Angels.

And while we love nothing more than tuning into the annual fashion show, it takes a lot of positive thinking and frantic whatsapping with the girls to remember that these women are paid to look… well… as close to perfect as possible.

Considering this, it's heartening to see that the company – which uses some of the most beautiful women in the world to promote their lines – have released images that reminds us that these women also rock the same marks and bumps as the rest of us.

After the brand shared behind-the-scenes snaps of Jasmine Tookes modelling their Fantasy Bra during the week, the public realised that Jasmine rocked – wait for it – the same stretchmarks as the rest of us, and the company hadn't digitally removed them!

We know – we had to have a quick sit-down too.

Jasmine – the first black woman to model the Fantasy Bra in nine years – looked nothing short of breathtaking in the shots, and the marks on her bum did NOTHING to detract from that.

Whether the move was an intentional one on behalf of the brand or not is unknown, but that hasn't stopped fans of the model taking to social media to congratulate her for "proudly showing off her stretch marks".

Now, let us all take a moment to salivate over that underwear set.

As women, we're well used to enduring a little pain in the name of beauty.

From the toe-curling eyebrow thread to the bite-down-on-some-rubber bikini wax, us women have been taking a healthy dose of horror with our monthly beauty appointments for years now.

And if man flu has taught us anything, it's that our male counterparts aren't quite as hardy as we are when it comes pain.

Proving the point to millions of YouTube users, the Slow Mo Guys – also known as Gavin and Dan – decided to give our pre-holiday prep a go by having their legs waxed.

And, well, let's just say we don't see them making it a regular fixture in their lives.

According to a woman who's about to celebrate her 117th birthday, if it's a long life you're after, it's eggs you need to eat.

And according to Victoria Beckham, if it's clear skin you're after, it's salmon you splash out on.

During a recent interview with The Edit, the former Spice Girl revealed that after seeking advice for troublesome skin, she made a change to her daily diet and hasn't looked back since.

"I see a dermatologist in LA, called Dr. Harold Lancer, who is incredible. I've known him for years – he sorted my skin out," she explained.

"I used to have really problematic skin and he said to me, 'You have to eat salmon every single day.'"

Admitting she was a little sceptical, the mum-of-four continued: "I said, 'Really, every day?' And he said, 'Yes; breakfast, lunch or dinner, you have to eat it every single day.'"

Well, by the looks of things, tucking into salmon – which is chock-full of omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins A and C – has worked a charm on VB's skin.

And if you need us, we'll be in the fish aisle.

So, yesterday former Geordie Shore star, Charlotte Crosby, decided to send her fans and followers completely over the edge.

In a move which has gone down like a lead balloon on Twitter, the reality star revealed that she's planning to follow in Vicky Pattison's footsteps and head down under for a fortnight of bushtucker trials.

Confirming speculation last night, 26-year-old Charlotte wrote: "Yep I am going on @imacelebrity. I can't wait. So excited man."

Pumped at the prospect of seeing Charlotte tackle the same trials and tribulations her former co-star Vicky endured in the jungle, fans of the star wasted no time wishing her luck.

But it looks like their well wishes were unnecessary as an hour later Charlotte was forced to admit she had been joking – an admission that didn't sit well with the public.

"Such a funny joke isn't it? You excited your fans you moron," wrote one.

"F*ck sake, already told the girlfriend and she was buzzing and said you will win. Now I got to go break the news now thanks," added another.

But while some followers were clearly fuming, the most optimistic among them suggested Charlotte had merely made the announcement too early and had been forced to retract it.

"I was a little unsure if she was meant to be announcing it this early?" wrote while another remarked: "Are you sure you're not just saying that cos you got in sh*t for tweeting it?"

Hmmm, we might have to watch this space…

After being dropped from Simon Cowell's record label, X Factor winner, James Arthur, found himself facing into a fairly bleak future.

Without a penny to his name, the singer looked like he was going to be confined to the X Factor 'has-been' category alongside the likes of Steve Brookstein and Leon Jackson.

And it was then that reality show execs began inundating him with offers to appear on some of Britain's biggest reality television shows – invitations which James ultimately declined.

Recalling this period of life, the singer, whose comeback track hit the top of the charts in recent weeks, insists it was the right decision at the time, and even says he wouldn't have gotten a number one had he become a Celebrity Big Brother housemate.

"I got offered loads of reality shows including I’m A Celebrity and Celebrity Big Brother," he revealed during an interview with the Daily Star Sunday.

"They were life-changing amounts of money. The most I got offered was £250,000 for CBB, which I really needed at the time, not knowing if I had a career."

While paying tribute to the shows which helped revive some stars' flagging careers, James insists it wasn't for him.

"I’m a huge fan of those shows but I don’t think there’s any chance I would be back at No. 1 now if I’d gone down that route."

He might have a point, in fairness.

So, we all know Halloween is a total free-for-all.

Wearing a bin liner all weekend? Go for it. Rocking a bikini for the night? Good woman, yourself. Dressed as a wheelie bin until November 1st? Sure, no better man.

Unfortunately for Michelle Keegan, she never got the memo, and in a move which has infuriated Twitter users, the actress decided to shame women who opt for a skimpy costume.

"Halloween… For the people who dress up in underwear and throw blood on themselves and think it's ok… It's not!" the actress wrote in a post this weekend.

Wasting no time calling the star out on her supposed hypocrisy, Michelle's followers asked her to justify her comment considering the fact she's wearing a bikini in her profile picture.

"Smh at you and your hypocrisy I mean look at your profile picture? Let people do what tf they want if it isn't hurting," insisted one.

"Dumbest tweet ever… Look up hypocrite or research what Halloween is," advised another.

Highlighting Michelle's supposed lack of support for the sisterhood, one Twitter user asked: "Sorry but when did you write the rules? Girls can do and wear what they want without being shamed."

Well, that went down well, Michelle.
