Ed Sheeran went on a total social media hiatus this year and hasn't posted anything in months, so when pictures of him crop up on other users accounts, it's safe to say his fans go a bit mental and pick on every detail in the snap.

And the latest pic is no different.

Jovel Walker posted a snap on his Instagram page with Ed, his daughter (Ed's goddaughter) and Jovel's daughter's other godfather.

My baby girls 5th birthday party was lit! Even both godparents were in attendance finally lol

A cute picture, yes, but eagle-eyed followers were quick to point out the ring on Ed's wedding finger.

Of course, this sent fans into a frenzie that Mr Sheeran tied to knot to his lady love Cherry Seaborn.

They certainly looked loved up in Taylor Swift's photobomb:

"Love actually is all around." Congratulations guys @abigail_lauren @teddysphotos

However, other fans pointed out that Ed has worn that ring before, but on his middle finger.

Is it a wedding ring? Is he married? Or did he just pop on a ring on a random finger? Hmmm…

Gilmore Girls fans have long been torn over which of Rory's three suitors was best for her over the long haul: hometown boy-next-door Dean, bad boy Jess, or Yale beau Logan.

Jared Padalecki, who plays heart-throb Dean, recently shed a bit of light on the outcome of Rory's love life.

Speaking to Us Weekly this week, Jared said that he has a "pretty good idea" of how fans will react to Rory Gilmore's romantic life when the show's Netflix reboot launches.

"There will always be some fans who are unhappy, but I think they'll be pleased with it," the Supernatural actor says of the romantic path that awaits Rory.

"Amy didn't come back to f**k it up — she came back to do it right, and she did it right," he says about the show's producer.

However, do not expect much on-screen time for exes Rory and Dean.

In fact, Jared admits that he was only on the set of the reboot for one day (the horror!).

"I wanted to be a bigger part — I think they wanted me to be a bigger part of it as well. But it was shot during Supernatural, so I only did one day. But in that one day, it was a really good amount of stuff I got to do, and explained a lot."

Netflix has not yet announced a premiere date for the revival, but we CAN'T WAIT.

International rugby player, Cian Healy, has come in for serious backlash on Twitter following a particularly ill-advised tweet he shared with followers last night.

Referring to the publicity currently surrounding the Repeal the 8th mural in Dublin's city centre, Cian tweeted: "Ya ain't alternative unless you're in front of a blue wall these days" and followed the comment with an eyeroll emoji.

Raging with the sport star's take on an issue which affects thousands of women in Ireland every year, Twitter users wasted no time slamming Cian for his remark.

Responding to the rugby player, one Twitter user wrote: "Ah yeah because supporting human rights is totes hipster, we're all just doing it for likes."

Taking aim at Cian's Twitter bio, another member of the public wrote: "Hey @ProperChurch 'a prop with a dream to play centre'? Well replace 'prop' with 'woman' and 'play centre' with 'have basic human rights'."

After deleting the tweet, the Leinster player told followers he was oblivious to the meaning of the mural, tweeting: "Ignorance on my part to what the "blue wall" was. Merely reacted to seeing it all over my timeline."

"Sorry for any offence caused. no political slamming on my part, nor none intended," he added. "But cheers for your lovely messages."

Unfortunately for Cian, not everyone was placated by his new tweets, with many slamming the star for pleading ignorance.

"Ignorance is bliss but it's not an excuse… #eejit" wrote one while another remarked: "Cian, you really should have at least looked it up."

"Yes how absolutely ludicrous for a woman wanting the rights to her own body. We're all insane," added another.

We can't see the controversy around this dying down any time soon.

If I was a One Direction fan, I have to admit that I'd lose all hope by now that the band are going to get back together anytime soon.

Niall's Modest! management company is well under way, Harry has signed a solo contract, and Liam has also just signed a solo recording deal with Capitol Records.

But to make matters worse, Liam has just changed his Twitter bio and removed all trace of 1D… and fans are RAGING.

It now reads, "Payne enterprises," and links to his solo website:

Will they ever get back together? Unfortunately, it's not looking likely…

Ten years ago we were all obsessed with The Hills and finding out what happens in the lives of the OC's elite was all we could talk about at lunchtime in school.

I remember my friend telling me about the last ever scene of the series, where Brody pulls back the curtain and reveals it was all made up. SHOCK horror, right?

Well now, we're going to find out exactly what went on behind the scenes in The Hills: That Was Then, This Is Now.

In the clip, Lauren teases: "So often we would say like, 'If you knew the real story, you would understand'. And what I'd like to do is tell that story."

"Taking a look at what things are like now, and then we're going to take a look back at the show and reveal things that we haven't talked about before."

Excited?! We can't wait.

As anyone who's ever shared a makeup free selfie will know, going into our image obsessed world barefaced can be a terrifying experience.  So can you imagine how must courage it must take for someone with a noticeable skin condition to expose themselves online?

This is the challenge former model Breanne Rice faced when she decided to make public a picture of her natural face after spending 12 years covering up her skin with thick makeup.

At 19 Breanne was diagnosed with vitiligo – an autoimmune disorder which causes skin colour to be lost in blotches – after she woke up one morning with a new white mark on her normally sallow face.  Over time that mark developed into numerous pale patches which left Breanne feeling self-conscious about her appearance.

At 19, I was diagnosed with vitiligo, and it spread rapidly causing me to lose over half of the pigment on my face. Yeah. Not the bottom of my foot or my arm..but ONLY on my face. I got really good at doing my makeup, and I didn't want anyone to know about it. I couldn't look in the mirror without crying, and feeling unattractive. When I am exposed to the sun, it tans my healthy skin and leaves my vitiligo even more noticeable. It's taken me a very long time to be able to go public with this, and to walk around publicly without any makeup. Why? Because it's my face. Although I would like to say I am super confident and it never gets to me, sometimes it does. Some days people make comments saying "what happened to your face?!" Sometimes if I have a crush on someone I am worried about them seeing me without makeup and worry that they won't think I'm cute. It's like ohh hey by the way..this is the real me underneath all this. You know what though, I own it. There's not much I can do about it. I can only love myself, and not let my circumstances define my value or self-worth. What is the definition of beautiful anyway? Is it being perfect? What do you see when you look in the mirror? Perhaps you have a circumstance or something about yourself that you are insecure about. Don't let it define you. You deserve love, and you are beautiful  #vitiligo #beauty #perfect #seattle #health #holistic #nutrition #inspire #encourage #love #selfworth #loveyourself #digestion #autoimmune #vitiligoselfie #vitiligolove #vitiligobeauties #healing #healthyskin #skin #pigment #inspiring #inspirational #vitiligo #love #selflove #beauty

But in March this year the nutritional therapist decided she had had enough of covering up and, in a bid to help others regain their confidence, Breanne took to Instagram to share her story.

In a barefaced post which has since gone viral, Breanne wrote: “At 19, I was diagnosed with vitiligo, and it spread rapidly causing me to lose over half of the pigment on my face.”

“I got really good at doing my makeup, and I didn't want anyone to know about it. I couldn't look in the mirror without crying, and feeling unattractive.”

In 2014 model Winnie Harlow rose to fame when she competed in American’s Next Top Model.  The 21-year-old has since used her position in the public eye to speak about her own experience with vitiligo.

We love how these women are using their own stories to expand the definition of beauty for everyone.

If you've ever gone on an Erasmus year, you'll know that in the weeks running up to your big continental adventure, you’ll find yourself imagining the various ways that this new European culture will enrich your life.

Oh, you’ll still pop your head into an Irish pub every now and again – You couldn’t miss the All Ireland, sure – but that is definitely it.

The bad habits and questionable routines you picked up and employed in your first two years of college will take a back seat to the array of worldly customs which you’ll ultimately adopt as your own.

And then you’ll arrive.

And the morning espressos never materialise, and the journal entries don’t make it past the first week, and the barman in The Shamrock knows your name by October, and the lecturers in your host university most definitely do not.

And this is because living abroad is not easy.

While you may have assumed your new city would give you the shot of adrenaline your home town failed to, you’ll soon realise the shot you received upon landing was more akin to a tranquiliser dart.

Unless, you’re incredibly lucky, that is.

And that’s because the Erasmus year is, in many ways, completely and utterly exhausting.

In fact, there comes a point in each and every Erasmus student’s journey where even the simplest of tasks seem insurmountable, and a month in bed becomes the obvious choice.

Whether it’s because you’ve been washing your clothes in fabric conditioner for a month, your flatmate is the type to count their pasta shells or your money management leaves you questioning basic arithmetic, you’ll often find yourself retreating to your bedroom, eating cereal out of the box and avoiding emails from the International Office until the end of time.

No matter how exhilarating the Erasmus year seemed once you’re firmly back in the bosom of your family, there is no denying the exhaustion that accompanies even the most mundane of tasks or straightforward of exchanges when attempting to carve out a life in a foreign language country.

When the woman in the bank doesn’t stick to the script you had prepared in your head, you'll wonder how much a flight home would cost.

When the ‘I’m an Erasmus student’ excuse doesn’t fly with a host lecturer who's seen your type before, you'll wonder who let you fill out the CAO form unsupervised.

And when you try and fail to keep up with a conversation in a language you’re supposedly a year away from having a degree in, you’ll quickly realise the only thing for it is a week in bed with – if you can afford it – your favourite new-found foreign snack.

But as life has a way of doing, it’s these supposed failures which allow you to find pleasure in the smallest of daily things.

Discovering a shortcut in a city whose geography had you slack-jawed upon arrival and realising the new word came quicker than the native is a moment for the folk at home.

Mastering the mechanics of a foreign washing machine and finding your way into a pub that doesn’t have a Guinness is Good For You sign is a definitely worthy of a status update.

And the moment you learn how to cheat the host college’s credit system is the moment you realise a  – and this is the important part – GUILT-FREE week in bed is definitely on the horizon.

And when those moments come, you’ll smugly turn them over and over in your mind and quietly – almost nervously – allow yourself to think that morning espressos and journal entries are just around the corner.

They’re not, of course.

Because they were notions, and you knew it.

It has been one seriously dramatic week for Lindsay Lohan, and it looks like media scrutiny is only set to intensify after her father, Michael Lohan, confirmed that his daughter is pregnant.

According to numerous emerging reports from across the pond, the star confided in her father who then made the decision to spill the deets to various media outlets.

While the press are still unsure as to the validity of the claims, Michael did his best to ensure reporters that he's most definitely in the know when it comes to this one.

"She is my daughter. She hasn’t lied to me," he insisted while speaking to US magazine.

The speculation arose after Lindsay posted a link to her 2009 movie Labor Pains along with the caption “Lindsay Lohan Labor Pains trailer — I am pregnant!”

While Lindsay swiftly deleted the tweet, Michael went to great lengths to ensure the public know of his daughter's big news, saying: "She hasn’t misled me. I go on what she tells me."

In light of his daughter's high-profile spat with fiancé Egor Tarabasov, Michael insisted the Lohan would 'be there' for' the Mean Girls actress as she navigates her first pregnancy.

While Lindsay has not referred to her previous tweet, she has 'respectfully requested' that speculation regarding her personal life comes to an end.

Hmmm, we're not sure Michael got the memo.

When it comes to speeches at Irish weddings, it often looks like the lads have the market cornered.

From the father of the bride and the best man to the groom himself, us ladies often take a back seat when it comes to public speaking on our big day.

Unless you’re Ina O’Brien, that is.

Taking social media by storm this week, this stunning bride from Co. Mayo turned the notion that us ladies merely smile through the speeches on its head, and gave a rendition of Ice Ice Baby which has Facebook users falling all over themselves.

Clocking up a staggering 55,000 likes in 23 hours, Ina and her new husband, Aidan, have been inundated with congratulations from Facebook users only dying for the next instalment.

With suggestions flooding in that Ina has found her true vocation in life, the new bride responded: “lol. Think it’s a bit early to quit the day job!!!! Don't worry you can shoot my next video!!!!”

Ladies, feast your eyes.
