Coronas frontman Danny O'Reilly is set to join Today FM as part of the station's new weekend lineup.

The Heroes or Ghosts singer – who previously dated TV presenter Laura Whitmore – will host his own eight-week series which will focus on the role music plays in the lives some of Ireland's best known faces.

Former 2FM DJ, Hector Ó hEochagáin, will also have his own show on Sundays called Hector’s Sunday Sitting Room.

Describing his new venture, Hector said: “I’ll be bringing the craic and keeping listeners company as they journey home on Sunday evenings, all to the backdrop of an eclectic upbeat soundtrack."

"Just think of it as Hector’s Sunday Sitting Room and the key is in the door – you’re all invited!” 

Today FM's new schedule will start Saturday July 2.

If you grew up in a sports-mad house, you'll be all too familiar with the roars of excitement and shrieks of delight that accompany any big match.

Learning to tune them out was part and parcel of family life, but sometimes – on very important occasions – the celebration was bigger than you.

Girls, sometimes the celebration was bigger than all of us.

Discovering that at an early age is the only way to navigate life in a football-obsessed house, and it looks like one little lad in Nottingham has just been officially schooled.

While watching Ireland play against Sweden with his Dubliner dad this week, Gavin Hughes became a prop in his father's display of celebration.

And, as is only right, the moment soon made its way onto Facebook and right into our hearts…

Remember the last time you took a slug of a cool drink and all your imperfections disappeared?

Geordie Shore star, Gary Beadle, has been surrounded by controversy lately and it seems that it's not going away any time soon.

The reality TV regular has found himself at the centre of an alleged drug scandal today as the Daily Star claims to have uncovered private Twitter messages between Gaz and an unnamed friend in which Gary admits to taking MD.

The messages were supposedly sent a few months back when Gaz was in Thailand filming Ex On The Beach with MTV, and suggest that Gaz ditched his chaperone the night before filming to go on a bit of a bender.

In the messages, the womanising Geordie tells his friend – who seems to be a fellow EOTB cast member – that he's at a beach rave, before warning the friend to "say nothing".

In a later message he says he's "off his t*ts" and when asked whether he's on pills or drunk, Gaz replies: "Gear md".

His openly jealous friend then tells him to "have a line" on his behalf.

Gaz apparently went to party in a different hotel afterwards and missed the next day of filming.

Earlier today his ex-girlfriend Charlotte Crosby retweeted a link to the drugs story before quickly deleting it and instead writing the word "SHADDDEEEEEE”.

This is the second drug-related incident Gaz has allegedly been involved in this year as five months ago a video of him snorting an unknown white substance off a Ferrari key was leaked to the media.

We don't know if James Corden knew what he was letting himself in for when he came up against Kevin Hart during the latest Drop the Mic segment.

While Kevin is no stranger to a public roasting at the hands of fellow celebs, it looks like the constant p*sstaking has had the reverse effect on the pint-sized star.

Absolutely brimming with confidence during the rap segment, the 40-Year-Old Virgin actor schooled James Corden on what it means to be a big star in the United States

Suggesting that the British star's fame and fortune may be on the decline, Kevin rapped: "You'll be back on Broadway soon, I'm not kidding, you'll be homeless."

Taking James down another peg or two, Kevin reminded the Gavin and Stacey star that he's not quite as famous as he might like to think, spitting: "I admit people are nice to your face until they get home and realise you're not Ricky Gervais."

While James gave as good as he got so many times, the clincher was when Kevin compared the Carpool Karaoke host to the marshmallow man from Ghostbusters…and gave his belly a pat at the same time.

We all love a good music festival. But after a long day of rocking your socks off, the mess can be a bit too much. And, looking – and smelling – like a rubbish bin really isn't a good look either.

That's why we were delighted when we came across this Kickstarter campaign that's selling HUGE wet wipes. It's like a shower in your pocket. Well, the slogan says that anyway…

Epic Wipes was initially created by Dr Aeneas Janze for soldiers in Afghanistan who had no access to a running shower.

And, even though it's always handy to have a pack of regular wipes in your bag, trying to clean yourself with them isn't that effective, and let's not even mention the waste.

So, three years and a 80x50cm wipe later, Epic Wipes were born.

Whether you're heading to a festival, going camping or on a hike, these will have you sorted.

The Kickstarter campaign is still ongoing but the company hope to be fully set-up by next year.

Lauded as one of the best Carpool Karaokes so far, the Red Hot Chili Peppers' appearance on on The Late Late Show's popular music segment has had EVERYONE talking this week.

But while most of us were fascinated by what was going on INSIDE the car, we had no idea that James and the four lads had been caught up in one truly terrifying moment during the filming.

Speaking to Chris Moyles on Radio X, the Under the Bridge singer revealed that it hadn't all been fun and the games during the segment's taping.

"We danced off, we tied and then we were going to celebrate with some Mexican food on the corner," Anthony told the British broadcaster. "And a woman came out of her house, holding a child saying ‘My baby, my baby, my baby can’t breathe!’"

"We all ran across the street, the woman thrust the baby into my arms, the baby was not breathing and I thought ‘I’m gonna try and do a little baby CPR real quick, see if I can get some air in this kid," Anthony explained.

After unsuccessfully trying to open the child's mouth, Anthony tried another method, saying: "I started rubbing the belly, bubbles came out of the mouth, the eyes rolled back into place."

Finishing the jaw-dropping story in classic laidback Kiedis style, Anthony simply said: "The ambulance showed up and I handed the baby over, who was now breathing and fine, and we went back to Carpool Karaoke."

Hats off to that man.

Johnny McDaid and Courteney Cox reconciled their relationship after a brief split at the beginning of the year.

But it looks like the couple are more loved up than ever as Johnny just sent the sweetest message to the former Friends actress on Twitter.

Sharing a photo of the couple standing beside a beautiful lake, the Snow Patrol star wrote: "Wishing my beautiful @CourteneyCox the happiest birthday!"

She replied to him soon after, saying: "Thank you my love," and then tweeted to the rest of her followers, "Huge thank you to all those who took the time to wish me a happy birthday. It's been a great one!"

But it wasn't only on Twitter that Johnny wished Courteney a happy birthday. He also took to Instagram to share another message.

While posting the same photo, he simply captioned the snap: "Happy Birthday Darlin' Girl. X."

The actress turned 52 (can you believe it?!) and is reportedly engaged to the musician again.

Hozier is making a comeback and has already teased his new single.

The Wicklow native has been taking a break from the music scene for a couple of months, going on hiatus in March to have some downtime.

The track is for the new Tarzan film, which stars Margot Robbie, Alex Skarsgard and Samuel L Jackson.

Hozier teased the song on Instagram, telling his followers: "Very happy to announce my new song 'Better Love' will be released as part of the @legendoftarzan film soundtrack starring #AlexSkarsgard, @margotrobbie, #ChristopherWaltz, and @samuelljackson. Stay tuned for more soon!"

We can't wait to hear the rest of the song!

We struggle to make it through the day without fantasising about our beds, so hats off to Pippa O'Connor who is back to work just one month after welcoming her second baby! 

And that's not all – it looks like the hugely popular beauty blogger is also preparing for a very exciting project.

Pippa shared a picture on Snapchat yesterday where she said she hoped baby Louis would stay asleep long enough for her to finish a meeting, so obviously our detective hats went straight on. (Natch.)

Teasing at the new venture, the mum-of-two seems to be super excited about the coming months.

“We’re launching a new business in September (I’m bursting about it!!) with lots of other projects planned from September onwards. It’s set to be a crazy autumn/winter but I cannot wait. I’m really really excited for it all.”

Talking about becoming a mum for the second time on her blog, Pippa said she has noticed some big differences from her first few weeks with son, Ollie.

“So there were definitely days when I was exhausted and I didn’t ‘enjoy every moment’ but looking back now, those spells really are so short-lived. Before I knew it he was 1, then 2 and now 3 years old – all in the blink of an eye.”

But she has definitely learned from her experience the first time round and now takes a much more relaxed approach.

“This time around, I’m 100 percent more relaxed. I’m a laidback person anyway but now if Louis wants to feed around the clock or we’ve had a crap night’s sleep, I don’t dwell on it or let it get to me."

"I’m just going with the flow and actually now I’m enjoying every day with him because I truly know that this tiny magical stage goes scarily fast," she added.

Like the down-to-earth Pippa we know and love, she admits it's not always easy but it's worth it, explaining: "Yeah I’m knackered most days and noticing more wrinkles but it’s all good!”

Between her adorable Instagram pictures of her two boys and this exciting new business, she has us GRIPPED!

Niall Horan treated his family to a fun day out at the Royal Ascot, but of course we was plagued by photographers and reporters who were trying to get anything they could out of him.

As the One Direction singer was enjoying his day, BBC Berkshire reporter Tim Dellor, tried to get an interview with him, but the Mullingar man refused.

However, the reporter turned out to be super rude and said that he hadn't a notion who Niall was anyway:

"I didn't actually know who he was anyway, to be honest. I had to ask my producer," Tim said on the radio show.

"He looked like he was taking himself quite seriously; a lot of bodyguards around. I didn't have any clue who he was, but the snappers obviously did."

Tim also went on to diss the suit Niall wore on the day.

"He's not dressed properly either. He's only in a normal lounge suit.

"He had sunglasses on and was trying to stand up as straight as he possibly could to give himself an extra bit of height." OUCH.

"It was the most unimpressive performance by a celebrity who I didn't know who it was," Tim added.

However, Niall isn't one to take a slagging and took to Twitter to stand up for himself.

"What are you on about mate? I was having a day out with my family who also enjoy horse racing big time.

"I'm not there to stand infront of cameras and do s**t interviews for you.."

'Super cute' and 'exhibition' aren't terms you'd normally put together – but when it comes to Dublin's new petography exhibit, they're perfectly matched.

On Tuesday night a host of Ireland's best known faces gathered together to look at some rather unique photos of their pets at the Petography: Secret Life of Pets Exhibition in Dublin's Temple Bar.

The display, which was created by the team from Universal Pictures Ireland to celebrate the release of The Secret Life of Pets, documents what the pets of Irish celebrities get up to when their owners aren't around.

Featuring the furry friends of international rugby player Gordon D’Arcy, TV presenters Glenda Gilson and Kathryn Thomas and models Roz Purcell, Rosanna Davison and Holly Carpenter, this launch was a cuteness overload.

The free display – which opened to the public yesterday and will run until June 28 – is being held at Filmbase in Temple Bar to help raise money for Ireland's largest animal welfare charity, the ISPCA.

In two weeks time when the event closes, the images – which were shot by celebrity photographer Lili Forberg – will be auctioned off to raise funds for the charity.

Free event – check.  Good cause – check.   Adorable animals – check. 

The Secret Life of Pets will hit Irish cinema screens on June 24, and we are PUMPED!
