There was absolute uproar when Luas drivers announced the dates of their June strikes yesterday.

Commuters going to and from work have probably gotten used to the, ahem… inconvenience, but what Luas drivers didn't realise was that their industrial action clashes with the first three days on the State Examinations.

However, after being formally notified, the strikes on June 8, 9 and 10 will now take place between 6pm and 10pm.

The move comes as a major relief to students, parents and teachers who were concerned about the added amount of pressure that the strikes would induce on the students.

And just to remember, there's a strike on tomorrow, so be prepared to find an alternative route to your destination.

When Zayn Malik unceremoniously called time on his engagement to Little Mix star Perrie Edwards in August of last year, fans of the former high-profile couple were left stunned.

But when the 23-year-old Bradford-native suddenly sparked up a romance with Kendall Jenner's BFF, Gigi Hadid, last November, hardcore Directioners didn't know WHAT to think anymore.

And now just as we're all getting used to the idea that Zerrie is no more, and Gigi is officially Zayn's number one bae, we've heard that that relationship may actually be on the rocks.

Just over a week after appearing at the Met Gala together, rumours are circulating that all is not well in the Malik / Hadid camp, with insiders saying the spark may have officially gone out as Gigi struggles to deal with Zayn's commitment issues.

Speaking to Life & Style, a source close to the couple revealed: "Gigi keeps catching Zayn talking to his ex-fiancée, Perrie. He's just not sure he can fully commit to her."

However, the couple, who confirmed they were an item in March of this year, looked pretty loved-up at last week's NYC bash, and they have not suggested that the love train has ground to a halt, so we'll just have to watch this space.

If you saw the last season of Daniel and Majella's B&B Road Trip, then you'll know it was FULL of craic and laughter.

And after a very successful first series, RTÉ is bringing it back to our screens later this year. Hurrah!

The network is on the hunt for B&B owners who would like to welcome Daniel and Majella into their home this year to film some of the series.

Speaking about the show, RTÉ commissioner Ray McCarthy said: "We’re delighted to have Daniel and Majella on board at RTÉ One. We’re huge fans of both of them and it’s a great series highlighting Ireland's many unique and colourful tourism spots".

Now, many of the B&B owners reminded us of our good ol' Irish mammies, so it's safe to say we loved the show in it's entirety. But you NEED to watch this clip again because it was just the best:

IMAGINE cleaning up your room, finding a Euromillions ticket and poof! You've just won €500,000. It would be pretty sweet, right?

Well, that exact scenario has just happened to a man in Dublin.

According to The Journal, the man, who wants to remain anonymous, said that his wife asked him to clean up a pile of papers, and he couldn't believe what he found.

"I was cleaning up a pile of old tickets and I just started checking them on my phone. When I saw that I had won the plus draw, I had to keep scanning my tickets with my wife to make sure we had won.

“It’s hard to imagine that I had a €500,000 winning ticket rolled up into a ball on my floor for three weeks.”

The winning ticket was a quick pick selection and was purchased in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.

When asked how he'll spend his good fortune, the Dubliner said: "We are going to pay off our mortgage first and foremost while the rest of the money will be put towards our children’s education over the next number of years.”

Assassin's Creed may not be up to everyone's taste, but one look at this trailer and you'll be totally sucked in.

Michael Fassbender plays Callum Lynch in the movie and he certainly doesn't disappoint as the hero in the flick.

Taking inspiration from the popular video game, Callum is thrown into a strange universe where he has to explore the memories of his ancestor Aguilar, and in time gains the skills of a Master Assassin.

The movie doesn't hit cinemas until December 30 of this year, but we say it'll be worth the wait. Plus, Michael looks great in it, so what more could you want?!

Actor Nick Lashaway has died at the age of 28.

The actor appeared in season 2 of the hit TV show Girls and was described as "talented, funny and kind."

Lena Dunham has led in the tributes to the actor following a car crash that took his life in Massachusetts on Sunday.

In her tribute she said: "We were so lucky to have him as a part of our Girls family when he played Frank in episode 207. We will always remember the week we shared with him, his playful smile, his easy instincts, how much he made us laugh."

Nick also appeared in The X Files, The 40-Year-Old Virgin and The Last Song.

This week was the annual NCAD Fashion Show, and we have to say, the stakes were high this year.

Showcasing Ireland's young talent in fashion, we look forward to this show every year and this year saw trends such as structured lines, blurred gender and gothic romance take to the cat walk.

We chatted to the winner, Aideen Gaynor about the inspiration behind her collection and the vision she saw for this day.

We also got the inside scoop from Brown Thomas' fashion director Shelly Corkery on what will be hot on the style scene this upcoming season.

She could be running errands around New York City or lighting up the red carpet at a movie premiere – either way, Hollywood’s jewel Blake Lively never fails to look absolutely, impeccably stunning.

Following a jaw-dropping turn in floral Burberry decadence at the Met Gala two weeks ago, a pregnant Blake stepped out for her first official red carpet appearance at this year’s Cannes Film Festival – and she pretty much took our breath away.

Victoria Beckham made a case for the jumpsuit in her glorious monochrome number – a piece from her own autumn/winter collection.

Embracing spring pastels, meanwhile, was Naomi Watts, who sparkled in a strapless lilac bejewelled gown by Armani Privé. She finished off the look perfectly with that to-die-for statement necklace. Top marks, Naomi!

It may have been Bella Hadid’s first foray at Cannes, but she was right up there with Blake and co. in the fashion ranks. The model positively wowed in her sheer embellished Roberto Cavalli dress and rocked a killer ponytail. Meow.

Caitlyn Jenner absolutely took the world by storm when she transitioned last year.

She officially debuted herself in Vanity Fair, had a massive coming out party, landed her own reality TV show AND won numerous awards.

But despite the success of Caitlyn, everything might not be all roses and daisies like we might think.

Ian Halperin, the author of Kardashian Dynasty: The Controversial Rise of America's Royal Family  has said that MULTIPLE sources admit that Caitlyn has been considering transitioning back to a man.

Ian said: "One source confirmed to me that Caitlyn has made whispers of 'sex change regret,' hinting she might go back to being Bruce Jenner.

"It hasn't been easy for Caitlyn, it's been very hard. She's thrilled she has raised awareness about how transgender people have long been discriminated against but I think there's a chance she'll de-transition in the next couple of years.

"I don't think it would be a surprise to anybody in her inner circle. It has been much harder than she anticipated."

Now, even though Ian has done immense research on the Kardashian/Jenner clan, we can't be too sure about this – But then again, you never know with that family.

Despite being one of the most glorious women on planet Earth, Chrissy Teigen still has to put up with a huge amount of online trolling – something which the Sports Illustrated model handles with the perfect mix of sarcasm and sass.

However, despite proving she doesn't need anyone fighting her corner, her husband of three years felt compelled to weigh in on on the latest scandal surrounding his wife.

Having decided to get a bite to eat on the town a few weeks after welcoming her daughter, Chrissy found herself on the end of some harsh criticism from online trolls who thought the star went a step too far by leaving the house after becoming a mother. Yeah, we know.

Reminding the public that he was right there alongside his wife on that infamous night out, John yesterday tweeted;"Funny there's no dad-shaming."

"When both of us go out to dinner, shame both of us so Chrissy doesn't have to take it all. We'll split it all," he insisted.

The All Of You singer was flooded with supportive comments since the post hit his Twitter page, with one fan of the high-profile couple replying: "That is so sweet! There is no shame in spending time together after the baby. Shame on those who say anything."

Aw John, you're just too perfect.

Talking about d*ck pics with anyone but your other half or gang of girlfriends is strictly forbidden in our opinion, so the thought of tackling that subject with your BROTHER on national television is just an absolute no-go.

James Corden did not get that memo, however, and in a move which is destined to go down in family history, the Late Late Show host decided to mortify his sister Rudy by talking about the snaps her husband Matthew sends her.

During a recent episode of the American talk show, James chatted with audience members about their favourite emojis and came to the conclusion that one woman's response to your standard d*ck pic is the classic eye-covering monkey emoji.

After chatting with the lovely Melissa and Kendall, James made us way through the audience to chat with his sister Rudy who had just flown in from the UK, and then told everyone EXACTLY what his brother-in-law does before sending that all-important d*ck pic.

When word got around that Justin Timberlake was about to drop his first track in three years, everyone just knew it was going to an absolute banger, and we weren't disappointed.

Can't Stop the Feeling has summer pints followed by a barbecue topped off by more summer pints written all OVER it, and we can't get enough.

We're clearly not the only ones thought because it looks like the internet is falling all over themselves this week after one very slick dad uploaded footage of him and his six-year-old daughter getting down to JT's latest track.

"Me and my 6 year old dancing to Justin Timberlake's newest song called Can't Stop The Feeling", YouTube user, jprindr1, wrote alongside the video which has clocked up almost 180,000 views. "I have a feeling this will be the song of the summer."

We're with him on that one.
