Following on from her disappearance, Irish singer Sinead O'Connor has been found safe after being missing for more than a day.

According to the BBC, Wilmette Police said she has been located, after they were "seeking to check the well-being" of her.

Police were alerted after she went on a bike ride at 6:00am on Sunday and never came back.

The local media in Chicago reports that Sinead has been staying with friends in a Chicago suburb for the past few weeks. 

However, after the news broke that she was found safe, Sinead herself took to Facebook to rant – and honestly, it's a bit hard to even read (be warned, it has very strong language):

We're glad she's safe now, though.

According to news just breaking, police in the United States have issued an appeal following the disappearance of singer Sinead O'Connor.

TMZ are reporting that the Nothing Compares 2U singer was last seen cycling through an area known as Wilmette – a suburb of Chicago – but has has not been seen since yesterday.

It has been established that the Irish star was wearing a black parka, black leather pants and a sweatshirt with "Ireland" on the back, and is understood to have been cycling a motorised Raleigh bicycle with a pink basket.

Fearing for Sinead's safety, officials in Chicago have issued an alert to the press and public, and classified the mum-of- four as 'missing suicidal'.

"The Wilmette Police is seeking to check the well-being of Sinead O'Connor," read the statement from the Wilmette Police Department. "O'Connor reportedly left the Wilmette area for a bicycle ride yesterday at 6:00 a.m. and has not returned. A caller has expressed concern for her well-being and no other information is available at this time."

We're hoping Sinead will be found safe and well.

While some of his sisters have already weighed in on the topic, until now Rob Kardashian's former stepfather has kept schtum about all the drama unfolding within the Kardashian household.

However, it looks like Caitlyn Jenner is eager to reach out to Rob, who recently revealed he's going to be a father, and reminded him that he'll always have a supporter in her no matter what he goes through.

Reflecting on her former stepson's tumultuous past year, Caitlyn, who recently shut down rumours that she wanted to de-transition, told ET: "You know, everybody goes through tough times in their life and deals with a lot of different things."

"I always look at it as 'Everybody has their stuff,' you know?" she continued. "It's how you deal with your stuff, and how you come out the other end. Things are going well."

Caitlyn, who is no stranger to intense media scrutiny, clearly empathises with Kris's only son and the pressure he faces as a member of one of the world's most famous reality television families.

Just last week, Rob spoke at his fiance Blac Chyna's birthday and told E! that while he's super-excited about the impending arrival, he hopes he can keep this chapter of his life as private as possible.

But with reports circulating that it was the Kardashian family who first leaked news of Chyna's pregnancy, we don't know how easy that will be.

After the runaway success enjoyed by Hello and the absolute stomper that was When We Were Young, Adele's loyal followers have been only dying to know which single is next to be released from the star's highly-anticipated third album.

Well, it looks like the wait is now over, with the singer herself taking to Twitter to reveal all to eager fans and music-lovers this afternoon.

Uploading a 16-second video which has clocked up more than 12,000 likes in an hour, the 27-year-old performer finally took the mystery out of her upcoming release, and reminded fans just how many absolute belters 25 actually has.

Huge congratulations are in order today following the news that Pippa O'Connor and Brian Ormond have become parents for the second time!

Taking to Twitter this afternoon, Pippa's proud husband announced that they have welcomed their newest arrival, and couldn't be happier.

Brian, who tied the knot with Pippa in June 2011, told his fans and followers: "So delighted to welcome baby Louis Ormond into the world."

"He arrived today at 9.48am. @pipsypie and I are over the moon," he continued before hashtagging the words 'blessed' and 'grateful'.

31-year-old Pippa, who shares a two-year-old son named Ollie with Brian, revealed that she was feeling anxious during her second nine-month journey, saying: "Even when you’ve nothing to worry about specifically I think it’s normal for expectant mothers to be a little anxious."

We're delighted to hear that all is well with the new family.

It certainly looks like the dispute between Transdev and Luas drivers is set to get worse before it gets better if the former's recent announcement is anything to go by.

According to The Irish Times, the Luas operator has suspended all its tram drivers from its sick pay scheme following the announcement of further strike action.

In a letter penned by Transdev's managing director, Gerry Madden, he explained that the company was choosing to invoke its right to suspend individuals from the scheme if absence levels rose above 4%.

"The company is suspending all individual drivers from the regular sick pay benefit scheme and will not be processing any regular sick pay payments in the May payroll and thereafter pending a return to normal absence levels," he wrote.

While currently levels stand at 12%, Mr. Madden did insist that the ruling would not apply to any driver currently suffering from a critical illness.

Admittedly regretful that the company felt compelled to take the action, Mr. Madden insisted: "Once absence rates for drivers return to normal levels the company will discuss the re-introduction of sick pay scheme arrangements for all individual drivers."

The next 24-hour stoppage is set to take place on Friday May 20th.

Back in the day, we used scrawl our fella's name on every flat surface available; our rulers, our desks, and our school ties to name only three.

But then, you know, we grew up.

Unfortunately for Disney star, Vanessa Hudgens, no one told her that that particular pastime was as 2003 as you could get, and she only went ahead and scratched her bae's name into the red stone at Coconino National Forest last February, didn't she?

The smitten kitten then uploaded the shot to Instagram before quickly realising the move was likely to land her in a LOT of trouble…which it did after the photo was drawn to authorities' attention. 

Luckily for the Spring Breakers star, her cooperation on the matter meant she recently managed to escape jail-time after flouting a law which prohibits people from 'damaging natural surfaces or property of the United States'.

Instead, 27-year-old Vanessa was slapped with a $1,000 fine which will go towards Friends of the Forest – a group which will “help restore the rock wall".

That was one seriously expensive romantic gesture, Ness.

Uploaded to Facebook on Saturday, the video has clocked up a serious 68,000 views and us Irish have wasted no time tagging our siblings and having a right oul laugh at our mammy's expense.

This, girls, is absolute gold.
