While we are thankful that denim never really goes out of fashion, we were not expecting this beloved fabric to become party of our beauty regime too. 

Yep, this summer we very well may be whipping out denim hues as blue becomes the colour of the season. 

So-called 'denim hair' or 'jair' is currently trending across social media as girls attempt to match up their hair tone to their jeans.

Having been sported previously by brave celebs such as Nicole Richie and Hilary Duff, the soft blue hues are actually quite wearable when applied softly to the hair.

Forget the Oscars, this is one awards show we know we'd REALLY be able to enjoy.

For the last 22 years, the Irish Food Writers' Guild has celebrated the very best of Irish food and native suppliers with their annual awards. This year's event took place at Dublin's Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud, where chefs put together a very special menu for attendees based on the produce of the five main winners.

Unsurprisingly, the whole thing was a slice of foodie paradise from start to finish.

First up was a salad of Silver Darlings Irish herring, potato, green leek purée and toasted buckwheat:

Followed by a main of grilled Irish Hereford sirloin, Brandy Bay Oyster cream and White Gypsy Russian Imperial Stout:

After all that meat, palattes were refreshed with a Mossfield Organic Farm milk pudding and Wild Irish Foragers spring nettle syrup:

And to finish, Riot Rye Bakehouse Borodinsky sourdough ice-cream with chocolate ganache and malt bread tuile (plus a snifter of Highbank Orchards Organic Irish Orchard Liqueur):

WHEW!

If you're not drooling over your keyboard right now then you might as well live on Big Macs for the rest of your life and call it a day.

No can do it quite like Britney Spears. 

From that iconic red catsuit to her VMA's performance with the snake, Brit is a total pop icon and we can't wait to hear what new music she has coming our way. 

And according to the 34-year-old, her new album is going to be her best ever. 

"I'm proud of the work, and it's very different; it's not what you would think at all," she said to V Magazine. 

"But I'm not rushing anything. I just want it to be done right, so that my fans will truly appreciate it."

Britney is slaying three covers of V mag this month as she chats about her new music and 20 years in the spotlight. 

The mother-of-two, who is enjoying a successful Las Vegas residency, looks almost unrecognisable as she posed for the sexy snaps, topped off with a gratuitous portion of abs from a faceless male model. 

Despite songs about public scrutiny such as Piece of Me, the singer revealed that the media simply doesn't get to her anymore. 

"Whoever is in the spotlight, people are really quick to judge. I mean, there are a lot of kids coming up who've experienced that. You know, Justin Bieber, he's huge, and he experiences that. It's just the way the world works, unfortunately.

"I've been doing this for 20 years. I kind of don't pay attention to it. I have my relationship with God and myself and that's what matters to me. I really don't care what most people think."

We reckon she's still got it.

Leggings, a crop top and a silk bomber – yep, it's pretty much the unofficial uniform of the Insta-supermodel pack.

We got the impression that Scotty T was not the biggest fan of Jephanie while in the Celebrity Big Brother house, but he really exposed the couple in a recent interview. 

The Georgie Shore lothario revealed that he knew that Jeremy McConnell cheated on Stephanie Davis as soon as he left the CBB house. 

"To be honest, I think it’s quite funny," said Scotty to the Sun. 

"I see them doing this whole love thing, but then I hear he’s off sh*gging girls. I mean he sh*gged one of my mates, she’s called Caroline Pope.”

"He shagged her as soon as he got out of Big Brother. He met her in Newcastle. I think it’s pretty hilarious how they’re going on about this relationship and then all they’re doing is arguing. I just laugh."

The Irish model has already denied rumours that he had cheated on Stephanie with the 19-year-old model the night before the final, a stance that he has reiterated in a tweet today. 

The winner of this year's CBB also has little hope for the relationship lasting very long but wishes them well. 

"Good luck to them like, but I did say from the start I wouldn’t really like to get in a relationship with a girl who cheated on her boyfriend to get with him anyway.

“If she’s done it once she can do it again.

“It’s not what I call a healthy romance. But if they’re happy, they’re happy.”

Cheryl's been leading her fans on a merry dance of late, teasing news of her new (possible) relationship with Liam Payne via various social media posts.

Just now she shared yet another massive update, but we're still not entirely sure it's a real romance.

"My mystery man line up," the singer wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of herself, Liam and two, well, mystery men.

She added the hashtags #WhosTheMysteryMan, #WhoIsIt and #WhosWorthIt to really confuse everyone.

While we'd love to think that the Cheryl-and-Liam romance actually was the real deal, the inclusion of #WhosWorthIt has us thinking this could all be a big ploy to promote her new campaign with L'Oreal Paris.

So was Liam just hanging around on set with Cheryl, or is he actually involved in some massive advertising deal with her? Hard to say.

It's not the first time today that Cheryl's Instagram updates has had fans talking, of course.

A few hours ago the X Factor judge amped things up with a selfie that featured what looked suspiciously like Liam Payne's left arm – just look at that purple t-shirt, which also features in the full-length snap of Liam above:

The hotly anticipated sequel to 2003's Finding Nemo is set to be a big deal and we're not going to lie, as fully-fledged adults we are still really excited about it. 

Ellen DeGeneres is once again lending her voice to the beloved blue fish Dory who in this film, as the title suggests, is looking for her family with the help of our favourite clown fish, Merlin and Nemo, in tow.

And the trailer suggests that we will be seeing quite a few familiar characters including a certain iconic turtle (did you know turtles can live to 150 years old?) as well as some fresh fishy faces. 

The film is due to wade into cinemas in June of this year.

We bet this TV presenter picked out this seemingly harmless blue, sleeved dress for just another busy day on the red carpet. 

Little did she know, that her seemingly innocuous outfit choice would have quite the impact on social media, but not for the reasons you might expect. 

Yep, the good aul internet has been quick to point out that the design on the hip of the gown looks very similar to a vagina.

And we would tend to be in total agreement. 

Edwina Bartholomew, an Australian presenter for the show Sunrise, became a trending topic after the show as many users were quick to point out that the detailing on the Rachel Gilbert dress bore an uncanny resemblance to a certain area of the female anatomy. 

We still reckon she slayed the dress though. 

And it seems her boyfriend was delighted by his girlfriend's trending ladybits as he took to Twitter to share the news.

Adele is going to send us over the edge before the end of her world tour for her latest album, 25. 

Not only did she literally make one fans dreams come true by inviting him to her Dublin show, she also took the time to visit a fan who was too ill to make the hotly-anticipated gig in Belfast earlier this week. 

Rebecca Gaffney is confined to bed as she suffers from epilepsy and cerebral palsy but the Hello singer heard that she was a total superfan. 

The dream visit became a reality after Rebecca's mum began an online petition to simply get a message from Adele for her daughter who could not attend the show. 

But in true Adele form, the singer actually showed up at Rebecca's house in Belfast for a surprise visit. 

And the singer's good deeds didn't end there. During her performance, she also helped one female fan do a very special Leap Year proposal during the gig. 

However, things did not go quite according to plan as the boyfriend did not say 'yes' outright.

Weekend camping and Sunday tickets went on sale this morning, with Sunday tickets selling out in just a few hours. 

The festival takes place from Friday September 2 – Sunday September 4 at Stradbally, Co. Laois.

Leonardo DiCaprio may have won ALL of our hearts in his bid to win an Oscar but we all know that he is a bit of a scamp when it comes to the ladies. 

He may finally have claimed his very own coveted gold gong but he still has a total wandering eye when it comes to the ladies. 

After reportedly chatting up Ireland's own Laura Whitmore at the Bafta's last month, it has been revealed that Leo had his eye on a certain British reality star for this awards show. 

According to the Sun, Made in Chelsea's Lauren Hutton partied it up with the Hollywood star at a huge celebratory bash in an LA mansion after the Oscars. 

The 27-year-old reportedly met Leo when they were both on holidays in the Caribbean a few years ago. 

"They get on well. She was thrilled to be part of his night, especially considering how hard it was to get in," a source told the paper. 

"Guards were checking the passports of every guest and being aggressive with those not on the list. But Lauren swanned through. She's clearly his type.

However, a separate source has told Metro that the pair are just good pals. 

"Lauren and Leo have been pals for a while now through mutual friends, and over the awards season they've been hanging out."

Hmm, we can't imagine rogue bachelor Leo being 'just friends' with anyone, especially a stunning, single model.
