There is some tragic news coming from the UK today as it has been confirmed that the son of singer Nick Cave has passed away following a fall last night.

Nick's 15-year-old son Arthur reportedly fell from the top of a 18.5metre pathway on the Ovingdean Gap in Brighton, East Sussex, landing on a coastal path below. 

Emergency services were called to the area around 6pm yesterday, and Arthur was airlifted to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, but he sadly died shortly afterwards. 

Arthur was a twin brother to Earle, and was one of Nick's two sons with his wife Susie Bick. The Bad Seeds singer also has two other sons from previous relationships, Luke and Jethro.

In a statement today, the Cave family confirmed the death and described Arthur as a "beautiful, happy loving boy."

Speaking to the media today, a spokeswoman for the Sussex Police said, "A 15-year-old boy who was found with life threatening injuries on the underpass of Ovingdean Gap, having fallen from the cliff above, has sadly died in hospital. 

"Members of the public carried out first aid on the boy before he was taken to hospital just after 6pm. He later died there of his injuries. The death is being dealt with by the coroner's officer."

There is no word as yet of the circumstances surrounding the fall, but it is reportedly not being treated as suspicious.

We’re always looking for ways to achieve our best and most glamorous hair. So you can imagine how high our eyebrows raised when we discovered we’ve been falling at the first hurdle.

For years we’ve been hopping into the shower and doing our best Beyoncé impression while reaching for the shampoo first. As it turns out, that’s not how things should go down at all.

Refinery29 claimed not too long ago that we should be using conditioner before we shampoo. Nope, we didn’t know that either.

However, a lot of stylists are still debating if we actually need to be using shampoo or conditioner at all.

Artistic director for Kérastase Nina Dimachki says that conditioner should come before shampoo. It adds nourishment to your hair and it also “primes the hair before cleansing, allowing shampoo to distribute easier and more evenly.” Sounds good, but we think we might need a little more convincing. If you do decided to condition first, Nina says to apply from root to tip and rinse after you've scrubbed it into your hair.

We might be a little set in our ways.

So you can imagine how much of a hard time we’re having with the people claiming that we should ditch shampoo altogether.

It’s called the “no-poo method”, which does not make it any more appealing. NBC News interviewed a group of enthusiasts who say that it takes a while to get used to, but it’s worth it.

Bustle had one of their writers try out the “no-poo method” and she claims that “you’ll have locks like Bey.” We’re intrigued!

Ditching the shampoo means your hair is going to stop producing excess oils which it does to make up for your shampoo striping away natural oils.

It takes some time to get used to it, but no shampoo enthusiasts are all about this one.

Don’t you hate that feeling when you arrive at the boarding gate ready for your holiday and then realise something is terribly wrong?

Normally you realise you forgot your sun cream, or you may have left the hair straightener plugged in, oops.

For one 14-year old though, the reason she missed her flight was because she was too pale. Wtf? As of we didn’t have enough to worry about, now they expect us to have a golden glow before we even get on the flight?

When Grace Wain tried to board her flight to Abu Dhabi she was told she was “too pale” to fly. The staff at check-in were concerned about her health due to her pale complexion. Grace had to see the airport doctor, but the staff weren’t convinced.

It took a letter from her GP clearing her to fly which they managed to email to Etihad’s duty manager just two hours before they were due to take off.

Speaking to the Daily Record, Grace’s dad said he tried to explain that was how Grace always looked, she is a redhead with a pale complexion.

"One of the check-in girls then made the decision that she wasn't fit to fly based on the fact she was pale and leaning against her mum,” Paul Wain said.

A spokesperson for the airline has said "staff were concerned about the wellbeing of a young passenger ahead of a lengthy flight".

While the family did make the flight in the end, some of their luggage did not. Which left Paul and his wife Sheena at their luxury holiday resort with no clothes. For three days. Absolute nightmare.

Paul thinks the issue started because the flight was overbooked.

"It was a once-in-a-lifetime event and someone was telling us we weren't going anywhere. It was as if someone had just hit us around the head with a baseball bat… the kids started crying".

We think we would too.

This one of the most bizarre things Brody has said in a while, and he has made some pretty odd remarks regarding his half-sisters. Sometime he doesn’t even use words, just graphic cartoons.

Brody is currently doing promotion for his new show Sex With Brody. Sounds charming. While on the promotional circuit, he admitted that he is a pretty adventurous guy in the bedroom.

However, he confessed that he thinks the teenage Kendall, 19, and Kylie, 17 (almost 18 as she likes to remind us), could give him a few pointers when it comes to sex.

Speaking to the Mirror, Brody said: “Do you seriously think they don’t know what’s up? They could teach me things!”

He credits the teenagers’ wealth of knowledge to their older sisters. “I mean, look at their older sisters Are you kidding me?”

Wait, was that Brody throwing some more shade in the Kardashian direction? He’s already made some interesting comments about the brood while on this press tour, so who knows.

Brody said that he would offer his support to his younger siblings if they ever decided to follow in his footsteps. Meaning, if they wanted to go on late-night TV and discuss making sex tapes he wouldn’t shy away from giving them some advice.

“I’d congratulate them – especially if they did what I did and put an entire project together from beginning to end.” 

Brody did say that while he has filmed his own sex tape, which you will never see as he “got rid of it” quickly afterwards, he hasn’t seen Kim’s.

“No, absolutely not,” Brody insisted. “I steered away from that!”

So the outspoken family do have some boundaries after all, we were beginning to wonder.

Its official, Amy Huberman is the nation’s favourite person. It’s been statistically proven, so now there is really no doubt.

We were pretty much convinced after following her for five minutes on Twitter. Now, the good people at Dr Oetker Baking have found that Ireland voted Amy to be the country’s nicest celebrity both inside and out.

Nwwwwwaaa!

When asked to name the Irish celeb who they think is the nicest inside and out, nine out of ten people thought of Amy first. Yup… that's an astonishing 90 percent! 

And in further proof that they are all of your relationship goals, Brian O'Driscoll came in a very close second.

The survey revealed that humour is the most attractive trait in others. Well, that explains why Amy’s name comes to mind. Her social media activity alone is comedy gold.

Coming just behind humour in the polls was kindness and loyalty came in at number three.

Meanwhile dishonesty, rudeness and stinginess were voted the three least attractive traits. Obviously, nobody likes it when you won’t share some of your dessert even if we hide the disappointment.

The survey did prove that while we do value personality more than physical attributes, we can be a little quick to judge. Some 76 percent of those surveyed admitted they would be quick to judge a book by its cover.

More than half of 18 to 24-year-olds admitted they would more than likely apply filters to their selfies before posting them on social media.

However, the same doesn’t not apply when it comes to food. In the survey 94% they care more about taste than appearance.

However, close-to eight out of ten of females said they would decline the offer of dessert if no one else was having some. We feel like Amy may not agree, and we say bring on the sweets.

The survey was carried out to mark the arrival of Dr Oetker Baking’s new Surprise Inside Cupcake Centres. The flavours that caught our eye? Rich chocolate and salted caramel.

Lena Dunham has admitted that being a part of Taylor Swift’s posse is not always so fantastic. We can’t believe it.

Lena, who featured in the Bad Blood video has recently admitted that she feels “chubby” when she hangs out with Taylor and the squad.

 Considering she took to the stage alongside some Victoria’s Secret alumni not too long ago, we can imagine it could be a bit intimidating.

The Girls creator has confessed that she felt very self-conscious standing beside models Gigi Hadid and Lily Aldridge as well as Pitch Perfect 2 star Hailee Steinfeld.

"I was so thrilled to support my friend and so displeased to learn about the truth of my own height,” Lena said about the appearance in New Jersey last Friday.

"I've been feeling pretty tall, feeling pretty sturdy, and it was amazing to me, like, 'Oh, I'm not tall, I'm chubby.' It's different."

According to Lena she never notices the difference when the squad are hanging out off-stage.

Probably because nobody can really look all that leggy and glamorous in a onesie. Which seems to be the groups’ outfit of choice for socialising.

“On most days, I feel really great and fine about, but I don't think standing next to, like, three supermodels or so is anything even the most confident woman needs to do.”

We are inclined to agree with Lena.

“The minute I caught sight of myself in the Jumbotron, I knew something was very wrong."

This is why we’re not that upset for not being in the most A-list clique to exist, wearing heels all the time to compensate would be too painful.

She explains in her YouTube video that clown contouring became her way of fighting back against the people who were bullying her online.

“I cannot tell you how many times I have been called a clown and many other names and been hated on,” she explains in the video.

 “I just did this to show you what a real payasa looks like.” Payasa is the Spanish word for clown.

Bella describes the technique as an extreme form of colour correction and contouring, and although it started as a joke, people quickly caught up with the trend.

Over the past week Instagram has been taken over with countless selfies displaying the incrediblely detailed clown-like contouring tricks.

While the before pictures look pretty out there and the colours are quite intense, the results are actually amazing.

Who knew a sugar skull could help your brows pop so much? It seems like a joke, but the fact is that people are ending up with amazing make up results after all that blending.

In her video, Bella says that she wouldn’t do this kind of dramatic make-up every day, but she does see how much fun it can be.

This year’s San Diego Comic Con brought an awful lot excitement, as it does every year. With all the fuss about Jared Leto and his fellow villains there’s a chance you may have missed something more important.

Two of our favourite boybands are getting together and making dreams come true! NSync and the Backstreet Boys are actually working together again. Even better news: our favourite One Direction member and Mullingar native Niall Horan might join in the fun.

Nick Carter announced that his fellow Backstreet Boy buddy A.J McLean and Joey Fatone of ‘N Sync would be starring in his new film Dead 7.

We thought the boys hated each other? Was there not a boy band rivalry going on for all these years? Apparently not according to Nick: "We've been friends for a long time."

He continued "I wanted my friends in the film with me. What is more fun than riding horses and being zombies shooting things?”

We can think of a few things. 

We might be forced to change our tune if Nick’s dream comes true. Not only does the boy band alum want to make movies with his singing and dancing pals, he has his eyes on a certain One Direction member to join the cast.

Only days ago he tweeted Niall to ask him about joining the project. Nick thinks Niall would be the best person to play his brother. The pair manage to get themselves in a love triangle, naturally.

Hilary Duff, yes his brother’s ex-girlfriend, is who Nick has pictured to play the lady at the centre of the brother’s spat. Niall has yet to respond to the request, but we think this sounds like a great idea. Bizarre, but also really great.

So it seems that not even Oscar winners are immune from dreaded body art mishaps.

Everyone cringes when you spot an individual flashing some ink that has an unfortunate typo. Even Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence has admitted her tattoo fail is pretty embarrassing.

JLaw is sporting a faint inking of the chemical formula for water on her hand, except, as she says herself, “I know that the two is high and in H20 the two is supposed to be low.”

The 24-year old admitted at Comic-Con last week that “I should have Googled it before I got it tattooed on my body forever.”

She explained that the tattoo was a product of a bonding exercise with her co-star Liam Hemsworth who also got himself some ink. We haven’t heard if his is quite so unique.

“I call this tattoo a watered down rebellion because it’s not like a real tattoo, “she told reporters at the convention.

The tattoo is the colour of the scar, which is probably why not many people have noticed the error until now. She supposedly got the tattoo around this time last year, according to the Daily Mail.

While at a Coldplay concert with her co-stars Liam and Josh Hutcherson, the small, and we mean really small, ink could be seen. We wonder if Chris Martin had any comments on her ‘rebellion’.

The Hunger Games cast made an appearance at the convention last week to promote the next instalment of the franchise. While there, JLaw got the chance to meet one her idols, Bill Murray.

During the panel she admitted that she’s tried to speak with Bill in the past, using co-star Woody Harrelson as a messenger.

“I've sent emails to Woody, mostly when I was drunk, with things I wanted to say to Bill Murray.”

Oh JLaw, don’t ever change, please.

He only broke up with his long-term girlfriend Eleanor Calder in March, but One Direction's Louis Tomlinson is now expecting a baby with a more recent love-interest.

Congratulations!

Although they are no longer in a relationship, the pop-star and Los Angeles-based stylist, Briana Jungwirth, 23, will welcome the little one early next year.

Louis and Briana spotted together recently 

 

“Louis is happy and very excited about becoming a dad and he thinks Briana will be an amazing mother," a mutual friend of the couple told PEOPLE this evening.

"It was a surprise at first, but he and Briana are very, very close friends and this has brought them even closer."

They added that 23-year-old Mr Tomlinson has vowed to be att Ms Jungwirth’s side throughout her pregnancy and really wants to be a “hands-on dad” when the baby arrives.

Briana has already been on several dates with Louis

 

The PEOPLE source adds: "They are both really happy and although they aren't in a relationship, their friendship is extremely strong and they are both really excited about the baby.

"It's early days and Briana and the baby's health are the most important things right now."

The duo began dating in May and sent the rumour-mill into overdrive when they were spotted on a series of intimate dates.

One rendezvous saw them attend Snoop Dogg's new album launch in West Hollywood, and afterwards they were observed holding hands in the back of their ride home.

He and Eleanor, whom he dated for four years, only split in March, but Briana isn't the first woman Louis's been linked to since he became single.

He was seen kissing a pretty brunette in Thailand in the immediate aftermath of his breakup, and has also been linked to Fifth Harmony's Camila Cabello.

And two weeks ago, the South Yorkshire-native was pictured cosying up to model Tamara Bell at Glastonbury.

His child will be the first One Direction band-member baby.

And we already can't wait to see the little Louis Jnr!

Posting a photo wearing a bikini, Serena captioned it, “Beach day in Sweden #SerenaSlam #renasarmy.”

However, she has apparently let a few of her critics comments get to her as under their instruction, she went and got her eyebrows shaped.

The moral of the story is, despite whatever you may think about Serena Williams, she is absolutely nailing life.
