In case you’ve been living under a Wi-Fi-less rock for the past week, Ruby Rose is your new imaginary BFF.

The Orange is the New Black actress has taken the world by storm since the series released its third season last week; much to highly excitable fans delight.

Ruby and her girlfriend Sophie Dahl have been all over social media lately, and with good reason! They are two of the coolest people we have never met.

After Ruby’s Twitter Q&A though, we feel like we’ve known her forever.

Not only does she love all our favourite things like dogs and Law and Order, she's modest too. Rub. Stop, you're just too much. 

Possibly the greatest revelation to come from her chat with her fans was how she’s decorated her piano. It has Justin Bieber’s face on in.

All over it actually.

While most people would cringe at their -ahem, questionable decorating choices being revealed to the entire twitter universe, Ruby takes it all in her stride.

Pretty standard behaviour for the 29-year old former DJ. She is not someone who’s afraid of opening up to the public. Whether it’s baring all on television, or speaking openly about her past issues with her sexual identity, Ruby Rose is not afraid to speak her mind.

If there was any question as to her home décor preferences though, they were quickly silenced. By none other than Bieber himself.

The most unusual seal of approval from the Baby singer has made it official, Ruby Rose is here to stay for a long  time.

Hollywood heartthrob, Chris Pratt, has spoken out against the inequality of the objectification of women.

His answer to this problem? Objectify the men just as much as the women. That we can do, Chris!

In an interview with Radio 4’s Front Row, Chris vocalised his disdain. “I think it’s appalling that for a long time only women were objectified,” the Jurassic World star revealed.

“But I think if we really want to advocate for equality, it’s important to even things out.” Hear, hear!

Sadly Chris’s latest film doesn’t have NEARLY enough (or any) shirtless scenes, but we are going to take his latest message as a sign that they are on the way.

The 35-year-old star has seen a seismic shift in his career and the roles that he is being offered, because of his looks. “There are a lot of women who got careers out of their bodies, and I’m using it to my advantage,” he said.

Although, it’s clear that Chris, who is married to actress Anna Faris, doesn’t take his new heartthrob status too personally. “At the end of the day, our bodies are objects… We’re just big bags of flesh and blood and meat and organs that God gives us to drive around.”

It is certainly safe to say that his new found six-pack is SERIOUSLY working. Chris’s next big role is starring alongside Jennifer Lawrence in the forthcoming sci-fi romance flick, Passengers.

Chris is reportedly to earn €11 million, while his co-star Ms Lawrence will rake in an astonishing €18 mil for the project.

Another internet challenge has swept the globe, and this is coming just when we thought the belly button challenge had finally disappeared from our newsfeed.

This new challenge that doesn’t really prove much at all is the collar bone challenge, where you have to balance a row of coins in the hollow of your collarbone.

It’s a craze being considered the new ‘thigh gap’ as a test of how skinny someone is.

Just like #thebellybuttonchallenge, this challenge originated on Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter and millions of people have already posted their effort online.

According to Chinese news sites, the more coins you can hold, the skinnier and sexier you are.

Some people have even tried balancing other household items in their collar bones to prove they are even ‘skinnier and sexier’, even though this trend has absolutely nothing to do with how much someone weighs or how much sex appeal they have.

A serious eye for style runs in the family for the Middletons. High street shoppers and glossy magazines are not the only ones taking notice.

Fashion mogul, 64-year old Tommy Hilfiger, is reportedly very keen to have Pippa Middleton become the face of his brand.

Having spoken in the past about his desire to dress Duchess Kate herself, the designer appears to have his sights set on the whole brood.

Speaking to Hello! magazine, Tommy himself admitted that he’s already sent her some summer pieces that he hopes she wears.

While Pippa hasn’t worn any of his pieces just yet, the designer has said “she’s a candidate for Tommy Hilfiger”.

Not surprising seeing as Pippa’s personal style is decidedly preppy chic. And that's exactly the kind of look that the Tommy Hilfiger brand favours. Indeed, he has said the pieces he sent her were “the preppy casual summer dresses”.

Not too long ago the party planner paired up with Tabitha Webb for a collection to support the British Heart Foundation.

So she’s no stranger to the world of fashion, and Tommy has previously said how much he admires Pippa’s style and noted that “she’s not as under the microscope”…. meaning she has more freedom to choose what she wears in comparison to sister Kate.

The 31-year old could even end up working with one of her sporting heroes. It’s well known that Pippa is a tennis fan and considering Rafael Nadal has just been become the face of the brand’s forthcoming scent.

The tennis champion is understandably excited about his new gig saying he’s “always admired Tommy Hilfiger’s cool, all-American designs”.

If tennis-lover Pippa does work with the brand it won’t just be her sporting idol she ends up working alongside, Kenall Jenner who walked in the designer’s recent fashion show.

The past has come back to haunt Tiger Woods, again.

Not only is the 39-year old have a miserable first round of gold at the US Open championship in Chambers Bay, Washington, he is also being very publicly reminded of his shameful romantic history.

After the troubled athlete had four bogeys in his first seven holes – golf speak for; he was playing terribly, the tormented Tiger had to deal with a plane following his every move around the course. The plane also had a banner, which read in very large red letters “CHEATER”.

Not an unfortunate coincidence considering in 2009 he and now ex-wife Elin Nordegren were found arguing in the drive way of their Florida home. The cause of the argument being that Tiger had shamelessly strayed outside their marriage, numerous times.

The two, who have two children together, divorced later that year, but it seems the professional golfer will not be escaping his past mistakes any time soon.

Clearly ruffled by the airborne taunting, at once stage Tiger actually lost his grip on his golf club completely and sent it flying into the air as he tried to get himself out of the rough.

There are no reports that this was Tiger attempting to knock that pesky plane out of the sky… yet.

In February 2010 Tiger said at a press conference that he “thought I could get away with whatever I wanted” and that he “deserved to enjoy all the temptations” surrounding him.

He later admitted “I was foolish.”

You don't say.

Following yesterday’s disasterous round Tiger’s probably not feeling oh-so great about himself, especially if he considers that 15 years ago he led the Open by 15 strokes.

Now? He trails the leaders by 15 strokes.

We are so intrigued by what she could have to say on the topic of feminism that we would love to head along to the Commonwealth Club of California, but at a pricey €420, the tickets are a bit out of our budget.

It seems as they might bring up her not so perfect past as the event explains “Kim Kardashian West has taken everything that is modern day society – from selfies to self-promotion to sexuality – embraced it, monetized it, and now we’re going to talk about it.”

The topics expected to be covered include: “an interview to dish on her new book Selfish, the Kardashian Jenner clan, the business of millennial culture, the objectification of women in media, and more.”

It seems they want her to be a guest speaker a she “is half of the #worldsmosttalkedaboutcouple, Kimye, and she recently “broke the internet” with her bum on the cover of Paper magazine”

Despite the ongoing feud that has been raging between the Browns and the Houstons, Bobby Brown has come to the defence of his ex-sister-in-law, Pat Houston.

The 46-year-old father of Bobbi Kristina has denied sensational claims made by his sister, Leolah Brown, that Pat wanted her niece to die, because the cost of keeping her alive was dipping into Pat’s inheritance.

Sources close to Mr Brown told TMZ that “Bobby claims Leolah is making it all up and hasn’t even been around his daughter – so she has no idea what Pat’s feelings are about Bobbi Kristina’s condition.”

Leolah posted to her Facebook page earlier this week to bash Bobbi Kristina’s co-guardian.

"If Pat knew The God that I know, instead of trying to inherit my niece’s money for her personal gain, she would mind her own business and go find A JOB for herself without continuously working so hard to destroy my niece.”

Despite the two families disagreeing on the best course of action for the daughter of the late Whitney Houston, the source says that Bobby is furious and Leolah’s sensationalist claims have gone way too far.

Could Bobby sticking up for Pat signal the start of a possible reconciliation between the two families?

Friday is FINALLY here and for many that means it’s also finally time to wind down and kick the weekend off with friends and an after-work drink.

But, even if you are trying to keep your alcohol content to a minimum with just a few drinks, the amount of sugar you may be consuming will SERIOUSLY shock you.

What is not so surprising is that it is our choice of mixers that are the biggest offenders.

It’s safe to say after reading this you won’t be ordering a G&T tonight – but instead may be opting for a glass of red wine or even a beer (surprised us too).

Here is the breakdown on seven of the most popular drinks, and their sugar content:

Gin and tonic

The bitter taste of our favourite refreshing drink may fool you into thinking that there isn’t too much sugar in a standard G&T. But the sugar content in tonic water is way higher than we thought. On average, a 250ml glass of gin and tonic contains approximately 18g of sugar – this is 36 percent of our daily intake*. Simply order a slimline tonic instead, and you will avoid having four tsps. of sugar in your drink.

*Daily sugar intake should be 50g for females and 70g for males

Rum and cola

Similarly to gin, rum has next to no sugar in it. But, when you add in a coke, this is a totally different story. An average mixing size measure of coke (250ml) contains 27g of sugar. This is an astounding 55 percent on your recommended daily sugar intake. Ehhh… diet please!

Vodka and cranberry

No, no, no! Cranberry juice is absolutely LOADED with sugar. While vodka is virtually sugar free, cranberry juice is a killer for your waistline. On average, 250ml of cranberry juice contains roughly 30g of sugar. This is a staggering 60 percent of your RDA (recommended daily allowance).

Thankfully, it’s time for the good news.

Prosecco

Thank God! According to FatSecret.com, an average sized glass of prosecco (121ml) has only about a gram of sugar in it. This is a happy 2 percent of our RDA.

Beer

While some beers are totally sugar free, the rest contain approximately 1 percent of your daily sugar allowance in each pint.

White wine

On average, a small glass of wine (125ml) contains 1.25g of sugar. However, the sugar content in white wines varies depending on each individual wine, and how sweet it is. But overall, white wine is a relatively safe option if you are trying to watch your sugar intake. Each glass is approximately 2.5 percent of your allowance.

Red wine

Woohoo! Taking up only 2 perfect of our daily intake, on average a 125ml glass of red wine has less than a gram of sugar in it, according to the US Department of Agriculture. We know what we’ll be drinking tonight!

As the devastation and heartbreak of the Berkeley tragedy rings around the world, perhaps the only place where solace can be found is in the outpouring of support and solidarity that has been seen since the fatal tragedy.

As families and friends mourn the tragic loss of loved ones, several Irish students have been left facing life-altering injuries.

One of these students is Clodagh Cogley, 21. Clodagh survived the fall when her friend, Jack Halpin, 21, grabbed her and helped break her fall. A spokesperson for the Cogley family said that “both of them sadly came off as badly as each other”.

Since Ms Cogley’s survival, her brother Darragh has been providing her friends with updates of her condition, and he also tweeted to see if they could get support from JK Rowling, and from Stephen Fry.

And thankfully, his call has been answered.

Author of the Harry Potter books, JK Rowling, has tweeted at Clodagh wishing her a quick recovery and sending love to her friends and family.

Clodagh is a native of Milltown in Dublin 6, and previously attended the well-know Alexandra College. She is the granddaughter of legendary RTÉ rugby commentator, Fred Cogley, and is a student at Trinity College.

Ok, so we have picked out a few things you need to purchase on your next pay day, and, yes you guessed it, they are all SHOES!

We know the good weather isn't always promised but June has been good so far so we definitely think it's safe to invest in a few sandals.

According to Cara Delevinge, she can find fun anywhere, and for a long time she found that fun being an intense party girl who just couldn’t stop eating McDonalds.

Making her Vogue US cover debut in the magazine's July issue, the 22-year old opens up about how her excessive lifestyle started to pose a problem for her career.

She told the magazine: “After turning 20 and eating McDonald’s all the time and drinking too much, it started to show on my stomach and on my face.” Her management were not impressed with the young model and she’s been living a much more demure life.

She says that these days “I’m not allowed to drink. I’m not allowed good food.” Cara herself think it’s a bit harsh, saying that the fashion industry is a bit of mystery to her.

She comments that “I’ve succeeded in a business where for years I had no restraint,” and it took its toll on her body. The fashion model committed some industry sins when she let her indulgences lead to a less than svelte physique. 

She did have incredible success as a fashion model both on the runway and in campaigns for Mulberry and Topshop. She also has nearly two times the amount of Instagram followers than social media powerhouse Lady Gaga.

Modelling however, isn’t enough for the star.  Appearing in her first leading role in the film adaptation of John Green’s Paper Towns (released 17 August), Cara reveals she has always wanted to act, not model.

Acting has been the ultimate goal for her, saying: “The thrill of acting is making a character real. Modelling is the opposite of real. It’s being fake in front of the camera.”

Cara discovered the thrill of acting when she was a young teen as a way to channel some of her emotional distress. Now though, it’s become her career and she couldn’t be happier with the direction her work has taken.

She also credits her girlfriend, St. Vincent (real name Annie Clark) as being part of the reason why she’s so happy in herself at the moment.

It could also be something to do with the seven roles she’s landed in upcoming films including an adaption of the Amanda Knox story.

It was only a matter of time before things started to get really heated between Kris and Caitlyn Jenner.

Certainly post Caitlyn’s transition, their relationship are notably cooled.

And rumours have been circulating that Kris, 59, is keen to get back in the spotlight by rushing into another marriage with current beau, Corey Gamble, 35.

Seeing as Kris is never one to shy away from the spotlight, it makes sense that her team of highly-skilled makeup artists, stylists and hair gurus are a vital component in her busy lifestyle.

Now things have taken a turn for the worst as reports come in that Caitlyn has stolen Kris’ precious ‘glam squad’ and Kris is not impressed. Not at all.

Since her Vanity Fair cover has been released the former Olympian has become a massive star, shattering social media records and becoming an icon for the transgender community.

Rather than support her extended family, as Kris is known to do so well, Kris apparently cannot believe that Caitlyn would shamelessly poach her dream team!

Reports of competition between the former married couple are growing as sources have told Radar Online that “It is really making people wonder about her intentions because she does not even acknowledge her past life anymore,” says the source.

While she formerly avoided the limelight it now seems Caitlyn is basking in her new found fame. With the help of her new uber-skilled ‘glam squad’ of course.

The Kardashian matriarch does love to get glammed up and all of a sudden her team have suddenly become too busy with her ex-husband to help her out.

Surely Kim would help her mama out and get her into one of those make up masterclasses she’s promoting?

As if that weren’t bad enough for the mega successful momager there have been alleged reports of producers from Kris’ smash hit reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians are jumping ship and joining team Caitlyn.

The documentary series I am Cait is apparently more appealing for the team members because Caitlyn is reportedly less dramatic and easier to work with.

So, Caitlyn is supposedly stealing Kris’ ‘glam squad’, her spotlight and her production team, not looking to be a pleasant weekend in the Jenner households then.
