Miley’s new shoot for W magazine is out and we have to say we are strangely impressed.

Maybe it’s the fact she has long hair again and her tongue is in her mouth but the artsy photos do Miley justice and they are done really well (even with the bleached eyebrows!)

Miley spoke with Ronan Farrow about her habitual marijuana habit and how she is in a relationship with her music: “I just love getting stoned”. Charming.

As the weather forces us indoors, colds, infections and flus spread more rapidly. Since it seems like there is never going to be a let up in this horrendous weather, it’s important that you do all you can to prevent yourself from getting sick.

Increase your intake of vitamin-rich foods
Fruit and vegetables are the best way to ensure a healthy immune system.

Get lots of sleep
The more tired you are, the higher your risk of catching an infection.

Wash your hands
Keep a hand sanitiser on your desk or in your bag and use it as often as you can.

Enjoy plenty of vitamin C rich foods
Vitamin C can help reduce the symptoms of colds and flu. Eat plenty of Brussels sprouts, broccoli, sweet potatoes and fruits.

Have a cup of tea
Tea contains a group of antioxidants called catechins which help the levels of inflammation in the body.

Stay hydrated

Owen Wilson’s personal trainer Caroline Lindquivst has given birth to their son. Owen and Caroline made a decision to have a baby despite not being in a relationship.

Wilson, who stars in Marley and Me, The Internship and Wedding Crashers, had a turbulent few years battling depression, as well as coping with a messy break-up from Kate Hudson whom he dated on and off between 2006 and 2009.

The actor already has a three-year-old son, Robert Ford Wilson.

To celebrate National Storytelling week (Feb 1st-8th), famous books were recreated starring cute babies – they knew that would get our attention!

Look how impossibly adorable all these little babies are dressed up as our favourite characters.

Richard Mayfield, creative director of Venture Photography who created the adorable images spoke of the importance of stories in children’s lives; “Stories play a huge part in childhood, helping to develop creative imaginations as well as reading skills”.

It’s easy to be forgotten after a couple of years and judging by the outfits – or lack there of – that these ladies wore, they were quite adamant this didn’t happen.

Here are some of the most unforgettable red carpet looks from women leaving very little to imagination.

L.A beauty brand Wet n Wild has finally crossed the Atlantic and found a new home on Irish shelves.

With Fergie as a global ambassador and a celeb following that includes Rachel Bilson, Mila Kunis and Minka Kelly, we were very excited to hear we’d have constant access to this exciting range of budget-friendly make-up.

We put our beauty writer, Odette, on the case to test some of Wet n Wild’s best loved products and here’s what she thought:

CoverAll cream foundation
This will have you covered all day (and all night if you need it to!). I applied it first with my fingertips and then buffed into the skin with a brush. The result was a perfectly smooth, matte and airbrushed-like finish. This foundation covers a myriad of sins with ease and gives medium-to-full coverage, leaning more towards full coverage, in my opinion. It would be best suited for normal to oily skin types, and will keep shiny skin at bay!

MegaSlicks balm stains
This glides over your lips like a dream and leaves them soft, plumped and moisturised. The shade I used was E128, which is a lovely soft, pearly pink colour with a subtle gold iridescence. This would be a great everyday lip stain, giving you a hint of colour and shine. This stain sits beautifully on your lips and won’t leave them feeling dry or cracked.

MegaLast lip colour
Once this lipstick is in place, it’s not moving. It’s a long-wearing (4 hour) lip colour that gives your lips the “wow factor”. I tried Sugar Plum Fairy, which is a beautiful deep plum colour with purple-red undertones – perfect for a dramatic night time lip. Although I loved the colour, the formula was a little drying, so a lip gloss or lip balm over top is a must.

Lindsay Lohan was left “shaken” after she was refused entry into not one, but TWO, New York nightclubs.

The troubled actress has been banned from a number of New York clubs, but she still tried to gain entry into two of them, 10ak and Up & Down. Not surprisingly, she was refused from both.

Even though “she stared the doorman down” she did not get in and “was definitely shaken up” by the ordeal. According to sources, the 27-year-old “looked really embarrassed” as she “turned away to her friends”. With Ryan Phillippe, Kate Upton and Paris Hilton in Up & Down at the time, we’d be embarrassed too.

The Mean Girls star had been banned from 10ak after she claimed one part of her $75,000 fur coat had been stolen at the venue, even though the club had insisted she hadn’t lost anything.

The coat had been found by Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Sidney Rice who took it home for safe keeping before Lindsay picked it up the next day.

While the condition of your skin can change depending on the season, your skin type will generally fall into one of the four categories:

Dry
People with dry skin will feel their skin tighten after cleansing. If you have dry skin, remember to always moisturise after washing.

Oily
People with oily skin usually have shiny looking skin. The shine is strongest around the middle of the face in an area called the T-zone. Try using oil-free products.

Combination
When you have both oily and dry skin, things could get a bit tricky. You may have to use a light moisturise around the oily parts of your skin and a richer one on dry areas.

Normal
The skin that everyone wishes they had. It isn’t dry nor is it oily. The pores are barely noticeable and the condition of the skin is generally good.
