Some people just seem to coast through life without a breeze and are too laid back for their own good.

They don’t worry much about things and just let it happen. There are some downsides to that, because things don’t always end up going the way you had planned.

Here are the struggles every laid back person has to deal with:

1. People think you’re lazy
There is a fine line between being laid back and being lazy. If you’re laid back you just don’t stress about things as much. You still get things done, but you have your own way of doing things. If you’re lazy, you struggle to get things done and will try everything you can to avoid doing what you have to.

2. You wish you could care about drama
When someone tells you a secret about someone you don’t really react, you just say “whatever”. You don’t even act surprised. Most of the time you couldn’t care about who did what and where. For once you would actually wish you could care about it, but you're just not concerned about that kind of thing.

3. You are always the last one to get ready
If you’re going out with your friends, you’re always the last one to get ready. You wait until the last minute to get out of your sweatpants and into your proper clothes. A lot of the time you rush to get ready and end up being late when you could have easily been on time.

4. People think you’re a pushover
If you’re laid back it doesn’t mean you’re a pushover, you can still have strong beliefs and values. You might not stress about it a lot, but if someone tries to challenge you and what you stand for you won’t back down.

5. You shy away from confrontation
You might not be a pushover, but you do your best to stay away from confrontation. You might get mad and then realise that it’s not worth it and just leave it, while others might actually go through with it.

6. High energy people freak you out
You don’t get people who are super hyper and you just wish they would chill for a minute. They have so much energy and you don’t really know how to deal with them. They start to give you a headache any time they are around.

7. You’re  actually worried that you don’t stress out enough
You’re so laid back that it’s gotten to the point where you worried that you don’t stress out when things happen. Nothing phases you and no matter what happens, you never get stressed. You think there is something wrong with you because you never stress out when things go sour.

8. You know you could give more effort, but you decide not to
At best you give at 70%, the rest of the time it’s just over 50%. You know that if you applied yourself that you could actually do a better job, but slacking has become such a routine that you don’t know any other way.

9. Your greatest struggle is getting up in the morning
You wake up at the right time and all, but for some reason you just lie there and your mind wanders. Next thing you knows 20 minutes have past and you still need to have a shower and get dressed. It really takes every fibre of your being to get out of bed and wash.

10. Your so laid back, that people think that you’re always stoned
You're just relaxed, man…

Uh oh – there’s trouble ahead for new ITV2's Xtra Factor presenter, Sarah-Jane Crawford after she let slip a big secret!

Sarah-Jane accidentally let it slip on Twitter that former Xtra Factor presenter, Caroline Flack, is joining BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. Oopsie.

Needless to say, this was set to be a big reveal for the show and so bosses over at BBC are said to be fuming over Sarah-Jane’s tactlessness.

The accidental reveal came about when Sarah-Jane tweeted: “Lovely catching up with @carolineflack1 this AM, drinks soon twinkle toes? Now smash Strictly #girlpower.”

The tweet was swiftly deleted, but not before the damage was done… The presenter then replaced the offending tweet with something a little more acceptable:

Poor Sarah-Jane, not a good way to start off her new job!

The mistake also looks very bad for Caroline, as rumour has it there are strict instructions for all involved in the show not to tell a soul about their position.

Loose lips and all that, Caroline!

We’re sure it will all blow over soon.

It was also confirmed that Pixie Lott will be trying her hand on the dancing sho – so be prepared to see a lot more of those endless legs!

It has been revealed that Glee star, Heather Morris, is engaged to her long-term partner, Taylor Hubbell.

Heather, who plays the ever-lovable Britney on the popular show, already has one child with Taylor, a little boy named Elijah.

A source told US Weekly that the pair are delighted with their happy news: “Heather was beaming when spotted wearing her engagement ring.”

Heather won’t be the only Glee star to have walked up the aisle in recent times, as co-star, Naya Rivera recently wed Ryan Dorsey in a ceremony nobody saw coming!

Congratulations to the pair on this wonderful news – we hope to see a big Glee reunion (with singing) at the wedding!

In fact, we hope to see Lea Michele and the rest of the Glee girls as bridesmaids – how perfect would that be?!

Apart from all of the feuding, of course.

With Lea and Naya said to have been at each other's throats on set, maybe Heather should keep them separated at the wedding!

Everything we thought to be true about the world has turned out to be one big lie! Well, everything we thought to be true about Hello Kitty, at least.

When a University of Hawaii anthropologist student Christine R. Yano was curating a Hello Kitty retrospective at the Japanese American National Museum (sounds interesting!), she was corrected, quite firmly, by the creators of the icon. She explains:

"That's one correction Sanrio made for my script for the show. Hello Kitty is not a cat. She's a cartoon character. She is a little girl. She is a friend. But she is not a cat. She's never depicted on all fours. She walks and sits like a two-legged creature. She does have a pet cat of her own, however, and it's called Charmmy Kitty.”

But wait – she has whiskers! And cat ears, and a cute little cat nose! And her name is KITTY for crying out loud! Surely just because she doesn’t walk on all fours we can’t disregard all these other tell-tale signs that Hello Kitty is quite clearly a cat?

Well, the creators have spoken, so we suppose we may just take their word for it. What does this mean for Peppa Pig, we wonder? Or Mickey Mouse, for that matter?

We just don’t know what to believe anymore.

We certainly weren't expecting Chris O'Dowd's Ice Bucket nomination – but Dawn O'Porter was, and IS expecting! (See what we did there?! No? We'll see ourselves out…)

The Roscommon man took part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and used the opportunity to announce the fantastic baby news by nominating ‘Baby O’Porter’.  He then turns the camera to Dawn who pours a glass of water over her baby bump, so there is absolutely no confusion – there IS a baby on the way!

By the sounds of it he or she will be an O'Porter, rather than an O'Dowd – which makes sense seen as Dawn added the 'O' to her name as a way of recognising their union. And Chris has spoken out about how he'd like to be an O'Porter too!

"You know, I thought she was joking when she mentioned it at first. And then I just thought it was so cool. I mean she got a lot of stick for it in the UK. I think the people thought it was a silly celebrity thing or something.

"She's a feminist, so she didn't want to give her name away. But she also thought she wanted to take something of her husband's, you know, and the O is hugely meaningful. O only exists in Ireland. So you're taking on my nationality as part of your name. I found it very touching. I would have loved if we were both called O'Porter."

Awh – could he be any lovelier?! We bet he's going to be a great dad too!

As the colder weather sets in, your body is more likely to be hit by cold and flu viruses. A low immune system can leave you feeling run down, tired and sluggish. Make sure you’re in top shape this year by adding some superfoods to your diet.

Nutrient-rich foods can really benefit your health and wellbeing. Here are a few of our favourites…

1. Spinach
This leafy green wonder is a huge source of Vitamin C, the ultimate immune-booster. It’s also high in iron, which protects hair and nails (and gives you giant muscles, if you’re Popeye). Baby spinach is an easy option for salads, and try wilting it into a soup or curry for great texture and taste.

2. Red bell peppers
Red peppers contain TWICE as much vitamin C as oranges do, so if you’re trying to ward off a cold they should be your go-to vegetable. Aside from keeping your system fighting fit, vitamin C also acts as an antihistamine which can prevent allergies and alleviate the symptoms of a cold.

3. Garlic
This flavourful food is full of antioxidants which help your immune system to run well. Fresh garlic could also help tummy upsets from food poisoning as it is believed to kill bad bacteria such as E.coli and Salmonella.

4. Goji berries
These little guys are more powerful than they look. They’ve been around in Asia for years – the Chinese herbalist Li Ching Yuen, who apparently lived to the ripe old age of 256, was their biggest fan. Goji berries are bursting with antioxidants which improve vitality, protect the liver and can act as anti-inflammatories. These berries are even believed to help fight cancer. A handful a day is the recommended amount – eat them solo or add them to smoothies, porridge or salads.

5. Beans
Black beans, kidney beans, chickpeas, edamame or good old Heinz – whatever your favourite, beans are a great source of magnesium, potassium, protein and fibre. They’re great value too. Eat them cold in a salad or add to soups, stews and other hot dishes.

Today is the day we’ve all been waiting for ladies – an actual Friends reunion!

Jennifer Aniston was on Jimmy Kimmel Live when he told her about how much he loved Friends back in the day. So much so, that he created an exact replica of their apartment and invited Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow (AKA Monica and Phoebe) to join them in acting out a brand new scene (with Jimmy playing the role of Ross, of course!).

Unfortunately for Joey and Chandler, they were written out of Jimmy’s script, after being bitten by Marcel the monkey and contracting monkey rabies. Still, we were happy to see the girls back in that amazing apartment in the middle of New York City that none of us could ever actually afford! Watch it here!

Kendall Jenner may have just bagged herself a shoot in next month’s US Vogue, but her sister Kylie is also making a name for herself in the world of modelling.

17-year-old Kylie has big shoes to fill as the youngest Kardashian, but she reveals she’s more than just a little sister in this cover shoot for US fashion magazine V.

Looking stunning in an Emporio Armani wool coat over a sexy camisole, Kylie proved a perfect choice for the magazines “V Girls” September issue. Another image from the shoot had a more gothic feel, with Kylie sporting long dark nails and an edgy hairstyle.

Though she has grown up in the spotlight as part of a decidedly bizarre family situation, Kylie says she leads a normal life. "We don't even remember a time before the show and before the cameras," she said to the magazine. "It's all kind of normal to us."

The model also spoke about her love for social media. Like most 17-year-olds she is a big fan of Instagram – but not every teen has 11.5 million followers as Kylie does. "I'm obsessed with Instagram," she said. "Kendall showed it to me, and my mom was on Twitter before me, so I was kind of the last one in the family to get on social media." She seems to have caught up just fine!

From the moment she first dodged New York traffic in a tutu, Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw has given us endless style inspiration. With an incredible collection of clothes (that seemed a little excessive for someone on a journalist’s salary), she was undoubtedly the show’s style queen.

Sometimes though, Carrie got it so very, very wrong. Here are a few of the outfits that made us cringe…

1. Those “cozy” woollen shorts
With the coat closed this outfit would have been totally fine. But why the strapless woolly vest and shorts combo?! The addition of leopard print kitten heels didn’t help either.

2. The LeAnn Rimes tribute outfit
A straw hat is never an acceptable accessory unless you’ve just come from the beach or a good ol’ fashioned hoedown. As for the arm cuff and snakeskin bikini top… we are very, very confused.

3. The standard New Year’s outfit – wellies and a turban
Now, we do accept that Carrie rushed out of the house last minute in this New Year’s episode, but surely there are more practical options for snowy weather than a sparkling turban? At least she swapped the white stilettos for some waterproof footwear.

4. The mummy-esque summer outfit
We’re not sure what’s going on here. White, loose fabrics were definitely a good choice for the desert, but the outfit appears to be made of random strips of loo roll tied together. And once again – why the turban?!

5. The dress that doubled as a life raft
A red-and-white floral dress is actually quite a simple choice by Carrie’s standards, but the peplum skirt looks as if it’s been inflated. At least she’ll bounce right back up if she falls!

6. The “I’m a writer BTW” dress
Ah, the Christian Dior Daily. We’d choose it over The Irish Times any day. This newspaper-print dress is just bizarre – we do like the shoes though.

7. The dress that surely required regular watering
Never one to keep things toned down, Carrie went all out with this massively oversized flower attached to an otherwise normal dress.

8. The “I just wore everything in my wardrobe today" outfit
We’re all for layering different fabrics, but this is a bit much. A tulle skirt, paisley dress, turquoise cardigan, belt and fur coat, topped off with a neon pink scarf. Classic minimalist style!

9. Those unfortunate tartan trousers
This outfit is half-golfer, half-crazy granny. Red tartan trousers and a baby pink shirt? Enough said.

10. And… the ultimate Carrie Fail
Okay, you’ve tied your shirt up. That’s okay. It’s kind of cute. The skirt’s not too bad, either. But Carrie, do enlighten us, why in the name of God is there a belt tied around your stomach?

We rest our case!

Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper are no strangers to working together on screen.

Both Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle were huge successes for both stars, which makes it odd that they would keep so quite about the OTHER film they made together, the Depression-era love story, Serena.

Never heard of it? Neither have we! Though the film has just announced a release date of October 24th, it doesn’t yet have a trailer, a US distributor or even a film festival slot. Weird, given the two big-name actors that are involved in it.

Filming apparently wrapped two years ago but there’s been absolutely no word since. Director Susanne Bier reportedly took 18 months to complete the film’s production process, which many are taking as proof that the film isn’t all that great.

Serena does have a Twitter account, but it currently has a meagre 294 followers, despite the fact that they’ve tweeted the odd promotional shot of J-Law and Bradley together on set and in costume.

Bradley did say a few words about the film in a recent interview, however, saying that the role was an opportunity to work with “one of the world’s outstanding filmmakers.” He added that his main motivation for taking the part was that he “wanted to learn to ride a horse.” Well… that’s as good a reason as any, we suppose!
