Tori Spelling was hospitalised in Los Angeles over the weekend where she was isolated with Ebola-like symptoms.

Tori was rushed to hospital after a severe coughing fit as well as a fever and difficulty breathing.

Thankfully, the actress was ruled out for Ebola but was quarantined as part of cautionary actions by the Cedars Sinai Medical Centre.

However, Tori remains quite ill, finally being diagnosed with severe bronchitis and a sinus infection. She is currently undergoing blood tests and will see a lung specialist.

Due to her illness, the 90210 star was forced to cancel promotional events for season two of her reality TV show, True Tori.

We hope she feels better soon – it really does sounds awful!

Loathe as we are to admit it, our mums often know a lot more than we give them credit for. While we might turn to them for certain bits of advice, namely financial and domestic, we've unfortunately convinced ourselves we know more than them when it comes to the world of hair and beauty. Girls, it's time to get off our high horses.

Take care of your skin.
More interested in the merits of glitter eye shadow and lip gloss, we didn't pay too much attention to our mother's suggestion to take care of the basics before layering on the slap. Now we're regretting it, aren't we? We wish we could rewind and start moisturising from our 13th birthday and now we've started asking our mum's advice on her favourite cleansers and moisturisers- we'd be lucky to look as half as good as she does at her age.

Don't over- pluck your eyebrows.
Remember when your mum had to wrestle the tweezers out of your hands, insisting you'd destroy your beautiful brows if you kept it up? Wasn't she right? So many of us now include filling in and shading our eyebrows as part of our daily make-up routine, all because we were a little too pluck-happy back in the day. It's like our mums saw Cara Delevingne's arrival on the run-way before anyone else.

Make the most out of your mascara.
The minute our mascara looked like it was no longer doing its job, we'd dash off to to the nearest make-up counter and shell over for another one. We'd laugh at our mum's suggestion to rest it in a bowl of warm water for a while, wouldn't we? Then make-up artists and beauty bloggers came out with the same advice and we all started rushing for the hot tap. Aren't our faces red?

Next time she offers beauty advice, we're listening!

We knew Kim Kardashian had a diva status to rival the likes of Beyoncé and Mariah, but we didn't know just how far her demands went… until now!

Leaked emails between Kim's rep and a PR company show just what it takes to hire Kim for a personal appearance or business engagement.

First up – the price! The message from Kim's rep to an unnamed company states that her minimum fee for a product endorsement deal would be between $750,000 and $1 million, with no exceptions.

The email reads, "I think you should definitely come back with the best offer that you can make her from a money standpoint, so that we can save the time going back and forth."

Don't panic – if you can't quite afford Kim or meet her demands, the email mentions that her little sis Kendall is available for a mere $500,000. What a bargain!

The demands for Kim don't end with one lump sum, though. Once you've shelled out the required fee, the star and her crew also need a whole list of other freebies including, "five first class tickets, plus one coach [economy class], first class hotel accommodations (one suite for talent and standard rooms for others in party), portal to portal first class exclusive ground transportation, airport greeter service, security, glam fee (day rate for her hair and makeup squad), and a per diem."

The email also states that before any work begins, Kim must pre-approve all staff. "We would need approval over photographer, all photos used in print materials, glam squad (hair, makeup, stylist, manicurist), hotel/airline/car service and PR usage."

We wonder if little North gets any of those fab perks, too! She was certainly acting quite the mini-diva yesterday when she was spotted blowing kisses to photographers while out for a stroll in California. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree…

It looks like a reconciliation could be on the cards for TOWIE's Chloe Sims and Elliott Wright!

The couple split just a week ago after a whirlwind romance but were pictured last night going to dinner together in Essex restaurant Tarantino. While they entered separately it doesn't take much to figure out that they were heading for a romantic meal!

On the most recent episode of TOWIE, Chloe broke down in tears as she admitted she might have made the wrong decision in breaking up with Elliott. "Do I lose somebody who's treated me so well?" she asked co-star Gemma, adding, "I want him to be my knight in shining armour."

Elliott also seemed shocked by the split, which he said came out of the blue.

The pair certainly looked happy as they were papped last night, and Chloe definitely wasn't trying to hide from the cameras in her acid yellow coat.

The couple got together earlier this year in Marbella, and had just moved in together and introduced their kids to one another when they split.

Why it's scary.
Oh, let us count the ways! The possibility of saying something stupid, the dread of being asked a weird question, the horror of thinking they won't like you, the unadulterated spinach-in-teeth fear. The list is quite simply endless.

Why it doesn't HAVE to be scary.
Your boyfriend is obviously mad about you if he wants to introduce you to the family. Think about it, why do you want to introduce him to yours? To show him off, to boast about the great catch you've snagged and to prove how lovely, charming, kind and good-looking he is. Yeah, that's his reasoning too!

What to wear.
It's not the middle ages, so no one expects you to dress like a nun to reassure your potential mother-in-law you're not out to corrupt her beloved son. Wear an outfit that you're completely comfortable in, but that shows off your personality. How weird would it be if you showed up in a really demure dress when your style is much more edgy in reality? You'll be uncomfortable, your boyfriend will be baffled and his parents will be wondering where the quirky, eye-liner obsessed girl he's been banging on about for months is.

What to do.
First of all, relax! His parents have probably been given a full run-down on the do's and dont's for the evening by your boyfriend so they're probably terrified they're going to embarrass themselves as well! This is just a chance to get to know each other so make the most of it. Listen, ask questions and refer to family stories which your boyfriend shared in the past- this last one will definitely mean a lot to both your boyfriend and his mum and dad.

How to end it.
Whether you enjoyed it or sat there sweating bullets for an hour, make sure to leave on a high note. Tell them that it was lovely to finally meet them, say you hope to see them again soon and then congratulate yourself on getting through what is definitely one of the more stressful parts of a new relationship! You did good girl, now relax!

The world of fashion was in mourning last night after news emerged that designer Oscar de la Renta had died.

The 82-year-old passed away due to complications from cancer, a disease he had been fighting for the last eight years. His wife Annette confirmed the news last night.

Oscar's stunning designs were a favourite with celebrities of all ages, from Sarah Jessica Parker, Lea Michele, Beyoncé and Penélope Cruz to various First Ladies including Michelle Obama, Jackie O and Hilary Clinton.

Most recently, he designed Amal Alamuddin's exquisite bridal gown for her wedding to George Clooney.

Stars took to social media last night to express their sadness at the passing away of a legend. Taylor Swift shared this beautiful shot of her wearing one of Oscars's gowns, with the message, "My all-time favorite designer has passed away. Oscar, it was an honor to wear your creations and to know you. In loving memory."

Making it through a scary film without bolting from the living room was a rite of passage for any child. We were gluttons for punishment, ignored parental advice and put ourselves through our own living hell. Remember these?

Scream
The 18 cert on this 1996 release made it clear we were most definitely NOT meant to watch it. So, what did we do? We watched it. And we regretted it. The sound of a ringing phone instilled terror in us for months, cute boys weren't to be trusted and we learned to never, ever say “I'll be right back.” Good to know.

The Witches
This comedy-fantasy film, released in 1990 and based on the book by beloved children's author Roald Dahl, left us pinned to our sofas in terror back in the day. Who will ever forget the moment the young, terrified Luke watched in horror as a convention of witches, led by Anjelica Huston, began removing their wigs, shoes and FACES to reveal the hideous, nightmare-inducing creatures beneath? It took a whole lot of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch in later years to convince us they weren't all bad.

IT
There's a whole generation of adults today who suffer from coulrophobia and we're pretty certain Stephen King's IT is to blame. Also made in 1990 (what was in the water that year?), this film is just one of those movies that will haunt you forever. Any child who suffered from a deathly fear of circuses, dripping taps, balloons or storm drains for much of their childhood most definitely saw IT.

The Goonies
Considered an absolute classic by many people, there were others, however, who were utterly creeped out by this 1985 adventure film. So, what was there to be scared of? Hmmm, let's see- the dark, miserable caves, Mama Fratelli's bizarre beret and pearl combo or maybe, just maybe, 'Sloth' Fratelli's deformed face was enough to put you off a second viewing.

Shia LaBeouf isn't exactly famed for his sensible persona. If he isn't wearing a paper bag on his head on the red carpet, he's regaling us with frankly hilarious stories of his infamous arrest. Now, he tells us that he decided he didn't want to be the next Tom Cruise when he realised, on Steven Spielberg's guidance, that he wouldn't be able to pick his nose in public. Interesting.

And Cruise wasn't the only Tom that failed to completely impress Shia. Although the Transformers star says he respects Forrest Gump actor Tom Hanks, he reveals he wasn't too happy with the comparison made between him and the fifty-eight-year old star in a 2007 Vanity Fair article. He reveals: “I just didn't feel like we were cut from the same fabric. My upbringing was darker. They guys who I looked up to were far darker.”

It seems that actors like Joaquin Phoenix and Sean Penn were the type of performer the twenty-eight-year-old related to. Speaking about the stars of Walk the Line and Milk, he says: “When I watched the movies of the guys I admired, it felt like they had put a spin on it.” We can definitely see where Shia is coming from, but how can you not want to BE Tom Hanks? Hell, WE want to be Tom Hanks!

Shia is currently starring opposite Brad Pitt in World War II film, Fury.

Us ladies have it tough. Not only do we have to suffer from annoying periods once a month, but we also have to put up with the cramps, crankiness and cravings that come with them. Boo.

Some would debate that PMS (premenstrual syndrome) is not a true condition, but we beg to differ. Any woman who’s every unexpectedly started crying during an episode of Friends while nursing a tub of Ben & Jerry’s will know that PMS is very, very real.

Here are ten thoughts you’ve no doubt had before or during your time of the month…

1. “I need all the chocolate. All.”
Some days you don’t give that Dairy Milk in the fridge a second thought, other days you’d happily scoff down two bars in a row and still want more. And it’s not just chocolate. Any food in your eye line can and will be eaten.

2. “Surely I’m not the only one crying during the X Factor results show?”
Chloe Jasmine didn’t deserve to lose that sing-off. She’s so LOVELY. *sobs*

3. “God, the Six One News is just really sad tonight…”
Why do bad things happen to good people?

4. “Ow. Bloated.”
The only thing that can help this is a hot water bottle and some duvet time. But of course that crampy, bloated feeling will usually start just as you’re getting dressed for Saturday night drinks. Thanks, Mother Nature. You’re a real dinger.

5. “So tiiiiiired.”
After all that eating and duvet time, the next natural step is to just close your eyes and have a little nap. C’mon, you’ve earned it.

6. “Christ, everyone is so annoying today.”
You never noticed before just how many questions your parents ask. And must everyone be so LOUD?

7. “Or is it me? Am I the annoying one?”
Those fickle hormones. You can never tell if it’s real PMS or if you’re just in one heck of a bad mood. Hopefully it’s the former.

8. “I really want to have sex.”
Why is it that the second our period arrives, we’re dying for some great sex? Just another one of nature’s “quirks.” So unfair!

9. “Oh, a breakout. Great.”
Whether you suffer from bad skin regularly or just around your time of the month, hormonal breakouts are just the worst. Resist the temptation to squeeze!

10. “I’m just so full of emotion right now.”
Who knew Jack Johnson’s music made you so nostalgic? Nothing for it but to weep quietly until the song is over.

Carmen Electra has finally opened up about her marriage to Dennis Rodman and explained the reasons behind the break down of the famous relationship.

The 42-year-old model and actress married the Celebrity Big Brother star back in 1998 at The Little Chapel of the Flowers in Las Vegas, but has since said: “It's easy to get caught up in a moment.” Dennis filed for annulment a mere nine days later, while Carmen filed for divorce in 1999.

Speaking to Opera, the Disaster Movie star said: “Our relationship was very passionate. When it was good, it was amazing. And when it was bad, it was the worst.” It may not come as a surprise to learn that the pair's relationship was far from stable, as Dennis has had a highly-publicised battle with alcohol addiction throughout his career and has sought help numerous times, while Carmen was struggling to come to terms with the death of her sister and mother around the time of her relationship with the NBA star.

Carmen since married and divorced Jane's Addiction guitarist, Dave Narvarro while Dennis married and divorced the mother of his two children, Michelle Moyer.

Tulisa has had a tough time of it in recent months, but it looks like the former X Factor judge has picked herself up, dusted herself down and turned her attention back to her first love. Yes, that's right the N-Dubz star has gone back to her roots and will be releasing a comeback single called 'Living Without You'.

In the last year alone, the 26-year-old star has faced drug charges, been dogged by rumours of plastic surgery and learned that ex-flame, Jack O' Connell has moved on with none other than fashion model Cara Delevigne. It's not surprising that Tulisa has dubbed it a 'year from hell'.

The single, due for release on December 7th, has been described as “contrasting garage influences and pop synth with lyrics about desperation and heartbreak” and may, if it does well in the charts, give Tulisa the boost she needs.

The young star is clearly brimming with excitement about it as she tweeted the big announcement this morning and obviously hopes that 'Living Without You' will follow the success of  her track 'Young', which topped the charts back in 2012.
