Feverous Black Friday shoppers are HELLA p*ssed off as they are being forced to wait HOURS in online store queues.

Customers are being forced into virtual lines on store websites, yet retailers are claiming this was all properly planned… eh, what?

One man shared a screenshot on Twitter of his queue number: 107578th in line. Good God, people, this is utter madness.

It's fair to say that the eager online population are sufficiently angry, with complaints coming in left, right and centre for numerous brands, such as Debenhams.

A Debenhams spokesperson claimed that the system was "managed" and that customers have all been successful with their shopping experiences:

"Some customers experienced a short delay in accessing our website at peak hours last night."

"By implementing a managed 'queue system' we were able to ensure that once customers had accessed our site, they were all able shop the offers successfully."

Reports of thousands of websites crashing are also gaining traction on Twitter, it seems that online stores were hugely unprepared for the onslaught of consumerism which Black Friday brings:

Sky News were told by Game:

"Due to the volume of traffic to our site we are operating a queuing system to make it as fair as possible to our customers in getting the deals they want."

However, stores this morning on the high street were experiencing regular volumes of customers, with no queues in sight. It seems online shopping has officially taken over:

Remember gals, Black Friday is a massive marketing campaign, so try to resist the mania surrounding it.

Use deals websites to spot the best discounts, ask yourself if you really need the items and don't assume that just because it's on sale, it's a bargain.

Economically and environmentally conscious shopping needs to be a priority with the massive amounts of clothes going to waste.

Stay strong gals, resist the urge.

If you can't resist, we hope you get through the online queue hysteria at least.

There is a massive shopping event happening at Blanchardstown Centre this weekend, and it's all for an amazing cause.

Shoppers will be able to avail of discounts of up to 20 per cent in selected stores this Saturday and Sunday.

Once you purchase a €3.00 wristband at the shopping centre, with all proceeds going to the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, the discounts are all yours.

80 per cent of the ISPCC services are funded by donations from the general public.

All funds raised at Blanchardstown Centre will ensure that the ISPCC can continue to help and protect the children throughout Ireland and be there for them, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

ISPCC Interim CEO Caroline O’Sullivan said: 'We would like to thank Blanchardstown Centre and all of the stores within the Centre for supporting this amazing event.'

'I would also like to thank Kathryn Thomas on behalf of the ISPCC for launching this campaign and all of the wonderful volunteers who are helping to raise funds. Your work will be a part of every text and call we answer.'

Speaking at the launch, Kathryn Thomas, said: 'I am so delighted to launch this campaign for the ISPCC Childline this week and would urge everyone to get down to Blanchardstown Centre and support all the volunteers who are collecting for such a great cause.'

'The ISPCC is a charity that is close to my heart and I really admire Blanchardstown Centre for organising this event to support them.'

Students, if you need an excuse to stop studying for a few hours, this is the best one you're going to get!

As we all know, House of Fraser in Dundrum is like a fashion and beauty treasure chest.

So, that why we were so delighted when we found out they are having a student lock-in next week.

Students are invited in-store for a full evening of discounts next Wednesday, October 14 from 6pm to 10pm.

There will be discounts of up to 20 percent off across fashion and 10 percent off beauty – so if you need a few fresh bits for college, this is a definite must.

Also on the night, you will be served complimentary drinks by Yellow Tail, be able to attend an Urban Decay workshop (so your make-up is on-point) and DJ Alex Donald will also be playing some tunes on the night.

This is something you don't want to miss!

In beauty, Urban Decay, Benefit, Chanel, Bobbi Brown, Dior and YSL are all offering 10 percent off.

In fashion, Topshop, Oasis, Mango, Miss Selfridge, Whistles and more are all offering 10 percent off, with Label Lab, Biba, Salsa Jeans and Warehouse giving 20 percent off selected lines.

And if you want to bag some bargain accessories, Guess, Karen Millen, Orla Kiely, Calvin Klein lingerie and more are offering 20 percent off too!

Meet you there?!

Online shopping is a joy to many. We can sit happily in our own home and choose what we want to buy while sipping on a mug of hot chocolate!

But instead of breaking the bank when you shop, we have a few shopping hacks that will make it easier and cheaper for you to shop online:

Start your shopping on a Wednesday

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are the most popular days for retailers to roll out sales and discount codes.

Ask for a discount

The next time you see one of those little dialogue boxes asking if you would like to chat with someone from the company, don't just close it. Say hello and ask if they have any promo codes they can share with you. Often, they have deals that you might not find otherwise.

You can also email or call customer service if chatting isn't an option. If that doesn't work, try tweeting them. Many brands are much more responsive through social media than they are through traditional codes of communication.

Use size filters

This is to spare yourself of the pain of seeing something you love, only to realise that it's not available in your size. This is also great if you need something quick for an event and don't have time for the store to restock.

Stick to sites that offer free shipping both ways

This is better so you won't get caught out if the piece you ordered doesn't fit or is faulty. You can send it straight back free of charge!

Always register on your favourite sites

If you're not sure about an item, put it in your cart and leave the site without completing the purchase. Sometimes brands will reach out to you with a special discount. Just make sure you have an account set up with them before you close out.

If you start your check-out as a guest, they won't know who you are or how to find you. Also, make sure you click the 'OK to contact me about sales and special offers' option when you register.

Make a shopping list and then use a fashion app

Shopping apps like Polvore, Like To Know It and Stylekick can search for clothes through various sites and find the best price for the item. Fashion apps are very handy to have if you're an online shopping addict! They will always find the best places to buy your goods and at the best price.
