It's been 13 years since the release of Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgandy, and yet there are few among us who don't still regularly quote the Will Ferrell classic.
And proving it's still very much on the public's radar, a plethora of high-profile news anchors last night performed a skit of one of its most memorable scenes.
Unsurprisingly, the internet is absolutely obsessed, with the short clip racking up more than 18,000 likes on Twitter in mere hours.
With Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Jon Snow, Dermot Murnaghan, Sarah-Jane Mee and Patrick Stewart taking centre stage, the parody went off with a serious bang on The Last Leg last night.
Right, that's enough from us. Take a look at this.
You would think that Will Ferrell's classic performance in Anchorman would encourage newsreaders to be on their toes when it comes to the autocue, but it looks like that just hasn't happened yet.
Not if this major fail is anything to go by anyway!
Set up by some mischievous colleagues, a news anchor in the States delivered one of Anchorman's most memorable lines without even realising it during a broadcast this week.
After a little banter between him and his co-host, Brian Niznansky of NBC26 turned to the camera, paused and found himself delivering the classic 'I love lamp' line.
And if that wasn't bad enough, he repeated it sheepishly a few times after realising his mistake.
Stop Brian, stop!
A video of Will Ferrell hitting a cheerleader in the face at a Pelicans-Lakers game last night has gone viral.
The video shows the Anchorman actor launching a basketball that then hits the cheerleader right in the kisser – hard.
The video soon went viral on Twitter with Vines of the incident being shared worldwide. In classic Will Ferrell behaviour however, it was soon exposed as a staged prank for an upcoming movie, Daddy's Home.
He got us…good!
The Irish newsrooms are a thing of legend. Between the news desk and the weather report – we'll never be short of drama! It's basically Anchorman in there, don't cha know?
1. Oh Anne, how we miss you.
2. Oh, we see you Aengus. We see you
3. Don't listen to her, Jean. We appreciate every single one of your outfits. Yes, even the post-Christmas silver number of '10
4. Vintage Bryan making us swoon as always
5. Ray Kennedy immediately regretted his words once he felt Sharon's heated wrath. His job is ok…this time.
6. The teleprompter messed up again, leaving Aengus confused
7. Martin King – Ireland's smoothest weatherman
If you needed another reason to love Paul Rudd, well he has just given you one.
The Anchorman star revealed to chat show host, David Letterman that he loves spending time in Ireland and even said that Ireland “…is the best place on Earth. It is hands down the greatest country, it’s the best place.”
Wow thanks Paul!
Paul also talked about that famous stag party in Donegal, and joked that that he almost got in a fight with Irish football player, Seamus Coleman’s dad in a pub.
Oh Paul, you always know how to make us smile.
Back in cinemas February 28th with 763 new jokes – we couldn’t be happier right now!
Anchorman 2 must be doing very well in the cinemas because Will Ferrell a.k.a Ron Burgundy, turned up wearing a suit made of money!
The gaudy suit, made up of dollar bills created quite the stir at last night’s film premiere for The Spoils of Babylon in Los Angeles.
Only Will could get away with this. And maybe Lady Gaga too…
Will and his fellow Anchorman 2 cast mates, including Paul Rudd and Steve Carrell, were recently on Irish soil after holding their premiere in Dublin last month.
Well, it certainly is an impressive suit and you know what they say, if you’ve got it…flaunt it?
San Diego’s top-rated anchorman has an important message to share as he reports on tonight’s much anticipated Late Late Toy Show.
You better take a look – he is kind of a big deal after all.
