Last night, the famous Met Gala took place in New York City.

The 70th annual Ball was themed Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.

As you can only imagine, the style on display at this year's event was amazing (and sometimes a little outrageous!)

From insane baroque numbers, to actual angel wings, the celebrity guests went all out.

So with that, I made a lil quiz, so you can see which iconic look is you all over.

Enjoy!

The queen of coo-girl style, Kate Moss looked like a vision at the Met Gala.

Opting for a fallen angel inspired mini-dress, Kate rocked a pared-back look compared to many on the red carpet.

Her laid-back interpretation of the theme, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination, meant that her ensemble stood out in a sea of gold-embroidered tulle and heavily embellished head pieces.

Kate donned a Saint Laurent LBD from the design house's SS18 line.

The short hemline was classic Kate, but it was the upper feather accent that really made it a showstopper.

We've found a few dupes for the dress on Pretty Little Thing, and we're adoring the fluffy, fun frivolity brought by the feathers.

Off the shoulder dress €21.00, Satin feather dress €42.00, Velvet plunge neck dress €42.00

Onr eof the stunning pieces comes in at just €21.00 if you want to get Kate's look on a budget.

If you happen to have won the lottery recently, you can snap up Kate's exact dress for a casual €7,900.00 from Bergdorf Goodman

The teenager featured on a 2016 episode of Room To Improve. Dermot Bannon and co. transformed his foster parents home to make it more wheelchair-friendly for the teen.

A plethora of medical professionals, obstetricians and maternal medicine specialists have come out in favour of voting Yes in the referendum to repeal the 8th amendment.

The Together For Yes campaign have brought some of these professionals together to discuss their thoughts and opinions on the medical landscape in Ireland under the 8th in a poignant video.

Dr Peter Boylan, Chair of the Institute of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, tells the viewers of the video: 'The 8th amendment makes it difficult for us to treat women with compassion, and give them the proper care that they need.

Dr Rhona Mahony, Consultant in fetal medicine, Holles Street Dr Jen Donnelly and the Rotunda Professor Mary Higgins, Consultant Obstetrician and specialist in high-risk maternal medicine at Holles Street echo his sentiment with stories of their own.

'Every week I have to break the news to women that their babies might have a significant medical condition that is going to impact on their lives, and in some cases will result in death' says Dr Jen Donnelly, Consultant in Obstetrics & Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist.

'This never gets easier to do.'

Global advocation groups such as Amnesty International have labelled the 8th Amendment as 'cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment' towards women.

However others feel that the amendment offers the highest protection to women and does not jeopardise their right to life.

Today, May 8th, is the last day to register to vote in the upcoming referendum.

Last night, the world's judgmental eyes were on the sartorial stylings of celebs on the Met Gala red carpet.

With the statement theme being 'Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination,' plenty of cebes went all out in angel wings, rosary beads and religious iconography.

Kylie Jenner made her red carpet debut since the birth of her first child Stormi, and while she didn't exactly emulate the theme of the night, she looked sleek and elegant.

The 20-year-old got a bit of slack for her simple look, but while she may not have been screaming 'Catholic imagination' her figure certainly looked heavenly in her slim cut black dress.

The most stand-out aspect of her gown was the cut out under her breasts (under boob is very in at the moment to be fair).

The cut was a welcome addition to the swathe of black velvet, and while her dress was branded as boring by much of the fashion press, we think it's the most wearable of the night.

Boohoo Jian Bandeau Cut Out Detail Midi Dress €10.25

Seeing as we wouldn't be able to don a giant Pope's hat on a night out, we can definitely rock an under boob cut out.

This Boohoo dress would fit any occasion, and is a steal at just €10.25 in the sale right now.

Velvet Cut Out Bow Midi Dress €17.00, Nicola Cut Out Maxi Slinky Dress €16.00, V Bar Cut Out Detail Midi Dress €27.00

We also love these cut-out dresses, sadly not in the sale, but still completely on budget.

Happy shopping gals.

These days, time is precious.

We have less time, but more to do. Packed diaries, to-do lists that are full to the brim; we are quite happy to be busy but we do wish we could find a way to fit in more of the things that really matter to us – or that would make a big difference to others.

But the good news is that even amidst the madness of daily life, there's always a spare minute for the things that matter in life. Like Dairygold, spreading straight from the fridge giving you an extra minute for the good stuff. Whether that minute is for yourself or maybe for someone else.

What if you could spend your next spare minute doing something wonderful for others? What if we told you that you could do an act of kindness, straight from your couch? Or that with a few simple clicks from your phone, you could feel instantly uplifted? Something that was easy and required virtually no effort on your part.

What you’d be doing is micro-volunteering.

Through their 2017 Make A Minute campaign, Dairygold affirmed that volunteering has an amazing do good, feel good effect on people and now in 2018, want to encourage those who want to give back to their communities, but are stretched for time to get micro-volunteering as a way to do this.

So, what exactly is micro-volunteering?

Micro-volunteering or Micro-volunteering Moments (MVMs) takes a simple idea – that people are more likely to volunteer their extra time in short and convenient, bite-sized chunks – and turns it into a new approach to community action that is accessible to everyone, from time-stretched mums or the friend that never seems to have a spare second but who want to give something back. It offers volunteers a series of uplifting, easy yet helpful tasks that can be done for organisations anytime, anywhere, on your phone – or on your own terms.

So, the acts aren't time-consuming but are incredibly meaningful and this is why Dairygold is partnering with six amazing organisations to bring you great opportunities to do a little good in a little time

How do I start micro-volunteering?

You can start by doing three simple steps:

Step 1:

Find a micro-volunteering opportunity that interests you HERE

Step 2:

Follow instructions on the organisation’s site on how to complete your simple task.

Step 3:

When you’re done, spread the micro-volunteering word online to help them get more micro-volunteers!

What could be a better way to spend your next spare minute?

Are you on the hunt for a shiny new job? Or are you just sick of the same old shite you endure 9-5, Monday to Friday?

You're not alone, hun.

Well, you are in luck, because your dream job might be just around the corner. Well, kind of.

Sipsmith Gin are hiring a number of people for 'Ginternships' (very clever) across the UK – and we mau have to move tbh.

The famous gin company will pick 52 people from 21 universities across the UK – meaning there's plenty of roles up for grabs. We like those odds.

So there's the catch – you do have to be a university student, but I am not above enrolling in a cheeky course for a couple of years.

Live your best life.

The Ginterns will be responsible for "leading juniper-related activities, partnering with local gin societies and spreading their love of gin and Sipsmith far and wide," the brand explains.

Sorry but if that doesn't sound like a dream job – I don't know what does.

Another part of the role? Travelling around various music festivals, spreading the gin love everywhere you go.

A number of former interns have successfully secured full time roles in the company, and one of them recently chatted to Cosmopolitan

"Walking through Sipsmith’s little blue door into the distillery was the best thing I ever did."

"It opened my eyes to true craftsmanship and entrepreneurial spirit which inspired me to create the worlds most empowered student ambassador program in the spirit industry. Students all across the country are now able to sip great gin and learn invaluable marketing and sales experience whilst doing so. It has led nearly 20% of our students into full time employment at the Sipsmith distillery and has shaped some truly unforgettable moments within this epic family!"

The Met Gala is one of fashion's biggest nights out, with the guest list hand curated by Anna Wintour herself.

The celebs come out in force, adhering to the theme of the evening and oozing amped up glamour.

There are always style hits and misses, but this year it was a beauty fluff-up that had everyone talking.

Selena Gomez stepped onto the Met Gala red carpet in a stunning layered Coach gown, complete with lace accents.

However, it was her orange, sticky-looking tan that caught the internet's attention.

Selena looked a little bit too tangoed for her spray tan to be un-clockable, but hey, we've all bee on the receiving end of a liberally laden tanning mitt, haven't we?

Here's what Twitter had to say, and it wasn't pretty:

Ryan Murphy is reportedly in the process of developing a television series about the #MeToo movement.

According to the New Yorker, the series will be called Consent and will follow a format similar to that of Black Mirror, whereby each episode would tell a different story with new characters.

The #MeToo movement was created in response to a string of high profile sexual abuse allegations, as way of encouraging people to open the conversation and provide support for victims who have suffered in silence for too long.

It's been reported that the anthology will feature episodes on disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein and actor Kevin Spacey's sexual misconduct allegations.

Another episode is set to detail an ambiguous "he-said-she-said" scenario.

The project has not been backed by FX or Netflix as of yet, though this is probably due to the fact that Murphy just left FX and his Netflix deal doesn’t officially begin until July.

Either way, we hope to see Consent on our screen in the near future.

The parents of Ruth Bowie who travelled to Britain for a termination after receiving a fatal foetal abnormality diagnosis will be in attendance, along with  Dr Siobhan Donohue who also travelled to Britain after receiving a similar diagnosis on her third child.

Veteran activist Frank Crummey, Midwife Philomena Canning and the parents of Arlette Lyons who also travelled to Britain after an FFA diagnosis will also be there.

When asked about why she founded the group, Carol Hunter said "I founded this group as a grandmother talking to my age-group and then realised that this demographic was least in favour of repealing the Eighth Amendment."

"I therefore focussed on their genuinely held concerns by providing them with data, information and testimony that allows a change of narrative, showing that terminations are part of life and needed in a plethora of circumstances," she continued.

Grandparents for Repeal has no political affiliations. It is a civic-based group and a member of Together for Yes.

As you can only imagine, the style on display at this year's event was amazing (and sometimes a little outrageous!)

From insane baroque numbers, to actual angel wings, the celebrity guests went all out.

Check out some of our favourite looks:

Queen SJP went all out with a major Dolce& Gabbana number, which included a cathedral train embroidered with gold baroque embellishments and sacred hearts. NAILED that theme hun.

Can Emilia Clarke just be our bestie? The GOT icon was also part of the D&G fam last night, with a dress that included needle point frescos. 10/10.

Gucci gang, Gucci gang, Gucci gang! The flawlessly talented Fashion director of Gucci, ALessandro Michele, dressed Lana Del Ray and Jared Leto this year. Thank God.

Kate Bosworth – we are not worthy. The blonde bombshell rocked up to the event donning an Oscar de la Renta number with a teardrop mother-of-pearl headpiece.

And then there was the Versace family – who naturally went ALL OUT.

Katy Perry stuck to the theme in a major way, donning a massive pair of feathered angel wings. Bow down.

BLAKE LIVELY. That is all.

The ever-elegant Lily Collins wore an all black ensemble from Givenchy, paired with rosary beads and black tear drops under her eyes. Flawless.

Honourary co-chair of this year's Gala was the UNBELIEVABLE Rihanna.  She rocked up to her event, looking like the chicest Pope you've ever seen, thanks to Maison Margiela.

Rosie Huntington Whitely was a modern-day angel in Ralph Lauren. Glowing.

Not really adhering to the theme, but I honestly don't care with this lady. Ashley Graham KILLED it in Prabal Gurung. Slay bish.
