Earlier today, Ewan McGregor was supposed to appear on Good Morning Britain to talk all about his new movie, T2 Trainspotting.

That completely combusted when Ewan found out that Good Morning Britain was the talk show that Piers Morgan presents, and so, the actor bowed out.

He later wrote on Twitter, "Was going on Good Morning Britain, didn't realise @piersmorgan was host. Won't go on with him after his comments about #WomensMarch."

Honestly, it was completely understandable since Piers' views were skewed to the highest extent.

However, now Piers has hit back at Ewan, saying that he is just an angry man…

In his Daily Mail column, he wrote, "Ewan McGregor is a very angry man when it comes to his politics.

"He refused point blank to do it unless I was removed and it was performed by my co-host Susanna Reid.

“This demand was denied, as were further demands for the interview to be severely shortened and to be restricted purely to talk about his new movie, T2 Trainspotting.

“So, enraged that he couldn’t do the interview on the terms he wanted, McGregor left.

“A flick through his Twitter feed today revealed a man absolutely enraged by both Donald Trump’s ascent to the presidency, and by Britain’s decision to leave the European Union.

“His fury at the latter may strike some as slightly disingenuous given that McGregor himself quit the EU years ago to go and live the life of a pampered millionaire movie star in Hollywood.

“But I’ll leave others to decide whether that is hypocritical or not.

“One thing’s for sure: Ewan McGregor wants you all to know, very very loudly, that he HATES TRUMP AND BREXIT.”

The Irish Girl Guides, sometimes more commonly known as IGG, has passed a motion that will allow transgender children into their ranks from now on.

The organisation, which met over the weekend, has confirmed that their rules have now changed to accommodate children who are male on their birth certificate but identify as female.

The group said that this decision will amend its equality policy to include "anyone who lives their lives as female is welcome to join."

The CEO of the IGG, Linda Peters, said that they are currently coming up with guidelines on how to welcome the new members on-board.

"Our board decided to invite one of our own members who has a transgender child to come to our next meeting to help with our discussions and consideration regarding practical guidelines for our volunteer leaders."

We're delighted things are going in this direction.

Getting healthy doesn’t necessarily mean you have to become a gym junkie, or eat like a rabbit for the rest of your life.

Improving your health can be as simple as taking a short walk during the day, cutting down on your intake of fat and sugar, or swapping take-away for a home-cooked meal once in a while.

Change can seem a little overwhelming for people, especially if they feel they are stuck in a rut, and are unsure where to start.

But, with these five simple tips you can start improving your health today:

1. Drink lemon water

Adding lemon juice to your water can detox the body, promote healthy skin, aid healthy digestion, boost your vitamin C intake, and encourage weight loss.

2. Clear out the fridge

One simple way to get healthy is to stop eating bad food. You could start by clearing out your fridge, and food cupboards of all things nasty.  You  will be less likely to eat it, because it’s not there.

3. Get some exercise

Walk yourself fit. Did you know that walking for just 30 minutes a day has been said to improve people’s health significantly, as it reduces the risk of heart disease.

4. Stretch, stretch, and stretch some more

This doesn’t mean you have to sign up to Pilates or yoga, but stretching daily can improve blood circulation.

Good blood circulation is important in preventing illnesses like diabetes or kidney disease, so, stretch those legs.

5. Inhale that fresh air

Fresh air is full of negative ions that make us feel good naturally. So, if you are looking to get healthy, in both mind and body, get outside, and take a deep breath of fresh air.

6. Catch enough zzz

Get a good night’s sleep. Nothing can put you on edge more than lack of sleep. So, put your phone on silent, turn down the lights, and try to get a full eight hours unbroken sleep.

If your nerves are keeping you up at night, try taking some deep breaths, taking some natural lavender oil tablets, or using a mindfulness app for 10 minutes before bed.

Sweet dreams.

One of the best parts about getting married is going on honeymoon.

The stress of the wedding can finally be forgotten about, and it's your chance to relax with your new hubby or wifey. Bliss.

But, have you ever wondered where the custom came from? We didn't either, until we read this earlier today.

According to Honeyfund, the tradition originated in the 19th century and consisted of the newlyweds travelling around together to basically visit family and friends who couldn't make it to the wedding. So, zero alone time.

It wasn't until the 20th century that honeymoons resembled the way they are today.

And as far as the term 'honeymoon'? Well, a few possible theories show that way back in the 5th century, newlyweds would drink a honey-based alcohol, widely known as mead, after their first 'moon' together, as it was believed to be a sort of aphrodisiac which could help with conception.

So, there you have it.

When the light-up selfie case came along, we all thought we had seen the ultimate in iPhone accessories.

Then came the detachable wind machine, for the perfect Victoria's Secret style selfies.

Now, your phone case wants to keep you on fleek IRL, not just in a selfie.

Irish fashion and travel blogger The Style Scruple stumbled across this amazing and oh so unnecessary iPhone accessory while on her travels in Italy.

The iPhone case has a device built in that allows you to spritz yourself with perfume wherever you may go.

The case has storage for 25mls of your favourite scent so smashing flimsy perfume bottles in your purse on a night out could soon be a thing of the past.

Liu Jo cover, €45.00

While this definitely falls under the category of things we want not things we need, we cant be the only ones who think this is kind of genius?

Many of us don't take much notice during the haute couture fashion weeks.

Yes, we'll stare in awe of the embellished gowns, but in reality, we know we're never going to actually wear one of them.

However, a moment needs to be made for Chanel's haute couture fashion show in Paris this week.

Kendall, Bella and Lily-Rose Depp all got to dress up as princesses for the day, and the dresses all look like something from a fairytale:

The Irish dancing community has been reaching out to Ed Sheeran via viral video since his revelation that he will be seeking Irish dancers for his next music video.

“I’m definitely shooting a video for the song in Ireland,” he told Eoghan McDermott on his 2FM show.

In a bid to get the attention of the red-haired singer, dancers and dance troupes alike have been uploading their best steps under the hashtag #STEP4SHEERAN in a bid to gain his attention.

Chris Naish, the brainchild behind modern Irish dance concept Fusion Fighters, decided to put together a montage of some of the finest Irish talent out there in a video in the hopes that Ed's people would take notice.

The dancer and dance teacher was soon overwhelmed with entries, and has continued to post some of the best after compiling his montage video.

A troupe of eight Galway girls from the Hession School of Irish Dance have since gone viral under the #STEP4SHEERAN hashtag, in a video that has been seen on Facebook over 284,000 times.

The troupe danced up a storm at Galway's Claddagh to a medley of Ed's Shape of You and a traditional Irish tune.

Other dancers have posted videos themselves in the hopes of capturing the singers attention.

Ed recently revealed some very Irish-oriented songs on his new album, hence his hunt for Irish ceili dancers.

“I’ve got a trad band called Beoga. They’re actually from Belfast, but they’ve – it’s a fiddle, a pipe, a bodhrán and piano. And we really jam,” he explained to Eoghan McDermott.

“It’s going to be good. I do think I’ll never be able to play another song in Ireland again because this will be the song.," he said of his upcoming hit entitled Galway Girl.

“There’s a song on the bonus album that’s about Co. Wexford so there’s two Irish jams on there both with full trad."

Congratulations are in order for Laura Prepon and fiancé Ben Foster who are expecting their first child.

Multiple outlets are reporting the Orange Is The New Black star is expecting her first child but the actress has yet to confirm the news.

However, stepping out at the Sundance Film Festival over the weekend, Laura was spotted with what appeared to be a baby bump.

Laura and Ben shocked fans back in October last year when they announced they were engaged so it would be no surprise if they kept us guessing on whether or not they are to become parents.

We’ll be keeping a close on their social media profiles for confirmation.

My Super Sweet 16 was literally the TV show of our generation.

We all watched on as super spoiled 15-year-olds planned their upcoming birthdays, and laughed at how sure they all were that the world revolved around them.

However, we all looked on in awe and wonder at how some could smuggle elephants into their b-day bashes, and maxed out their parent's credit card on one (extremely sparkly) dress.

Well, even though we're all much older now, it's fair to say that we'll be tuning into the RETURN of My Super Sweet 16.

That's right, ladies, the infamous MTV show it's making its way back, and we cannot wait.

And better still, it's not going to be based around ludicrously rich 15-year-olds anymore, and will instead focus on people "coming of age."

"MTV cordially invites you to My Super Sweet… and extraordinary television event featuring the most important day of your life marked by the greatest of celebrations – Sweet Sixteen, Quinceanera, Debutante Ball, Debut, or any other coming of age milestone event – if it's going to be lit, we want to know about it!" said a MTV press release.

"We want to showcase the most Instagram-enviable celebrations ever seen. Snap the sweetest and most memorable moments of your life that'll make all your Snapchat followers comment #goals when they see how turnt your party gets!"

OK, while being a tad cringey, we still can't wait for it to come back. We'll be watching it with a glass of vino…

The mini backpack was a must have accessory in the 90s (bonus points if it was fluffy or faux quilted Chanel) and fashion's obsession with the 90s has yet to wane.

The mini backpack has made a triumphant return for the new season, and the smaller and more detailed the better.

Penneys, €10

From metallic hues to heavy embroidery, there is a baby backpack to suit everyone (unless you need to carry loads of bits around, in that case stick with your hold-all tote).

While these bags are teeny they can definitely fit more than a clutch, so if you need a choice of lipsticks on a night out, a mini bag could be the way to go.

Fjallraven Mini Kanken €69.95

While they might look dinky, the bags are pretty utilitarian.

This mini version of the trendy Fjallraven Kanken is sturdy while still being cute AF.

New Look€24.99

Minimalist stylings will always be chic, so opting for a classic, streamlined mini backpack is the safest way to rock this trend.

Parfois, €29.99

If you thought the shade camel was gone the way of the camel coat, you'd be wrong.

Camel is a classic, and this faux suede bag from Parfois has festival season all over it thanks to it's versatile shade and the addition of that edgy chain detail.

Missguided€22.50

As long as their are flannel lovers out there, the grunge trend will never die.

This ring-pull and zipper embellished backpack will add edge to any outfit.

ASOS €26.67

Leopard print has pretty much cemented itself as a fun but classic print, ideal to spice up your life with if your wardrobe consists exclusively of neutrals.

Boohoo, €22.00

Pastel pink has become one of the most beloved shades for spring, so incorporating this pale rose piece into your new season wardrobe is one way to nail two trends at once.

Plus, this Boohoo bag definitely has room for all the essentials.

 Skinny Dip London, €42.67

Opting for a novelty bag is one way to draw attention to your new accessory.

This fluffy, furry piece from Skinny Dip London is absolutely gas, but in the best possible way. We love it.

Parfois, €34.99

Another festival essential, this faux leather drawstring backpack is the perfect size for all of the essentials when heading into the main arena.

While festival season may be a while away, there's no harm in getting a head start on outfit planning.

Juicy Couture€419.99

Feeling splurgey? This mini Juicy Couture piece literally has Cher Horowitz written all over it, and what's a 90s trend without a Clueless reference?

But as IF we've got the cash for this gorgeous bag at this stage of the financial month.

There goes our social lives….

If you are thoroughly lacking a signifigant other and have accepted the fact that no amount of Tinder swiping will cause you to acquire one before the big event, then it's time to gear up for Galentine's Day.

Galentines Day involves eschewing the shackles of romantic relationships and celebrating the annual day of love with your besties.

But what to do when the restaurants are full of PDA-offending lovers and Instagram is full of pictures of Mchael Kors bags with the hashtag best boyfriend ever?

1. The ultimate girls night out

A photo posted by modàfashion. (@glamxmoda) on

An obvious choice but a complete classic.

Get your unattached ladies around for some predrinks and make some cocktail recipes you found on the internet, then paint the town red.

Everyone will be out for the shift, so if that's not your style, cackle in delight as you rebut the advances of the opposite sex. Or get the shift, you do you, girl.

2. Have a date night with your favourite actor

Not literally unfortunately, George Clooney will probably be busy with Amal.

But settling in for the night with a handful of movies featuring your ultimate thespian crush is the next best thing.

Don't forget to stock up on popcorn, pizza and wine so you don't have to move for the night.

3. Fifty Shades of Grey

Just like last year, the new Fifty Shades of Grey instalment is out around Valentines Day.

There is no better way to spend an evening than giggling at a rude movie with your best friends, and the experience will only be heightened by the fact that the cinema will be full of fellow females laughing at the cheesy romantic film. If BDSM can be considered romantic.

Booking in advance is probably a good idea, as cinemas can get pretty busy on V-Day.

4. Laugh until you cry…

…instead of just crying.

There are plenty of comedy gigs going on every night around the country, so if you and your girls need some cheering up on Galentine's, then a comedy show is a good way to get the laughs going.

Plus it's Valentines Day, so the comedian will probably be taking the p*** out of couples and romance to please your bitter, single heart.

5. Pamper day

A photo posted by L U N A (@nocomay) on

While this one is the ultimate cliche, getting a mani pedi with your best friend and then heading home to veg out wearing face masks is a pretty relaxing endeavour.

Meet up after work (V-Day lands on a Tuesday this year) for some evening treatments and then relax and reminisce on the ghosts of boyfriends past.

After all, sometimes romance can be fleeting, but your girls are there for life.
