Easter is upon us this weekend, so for those of us who are heading home for the occasion, TV will probably play a part in our trips.

Luckily, The Ray D'Arcy Show has a stellar line-up of guests this Saturday.

The show will be kicking off with British singer, dancer, rapper, model and television presenter ( what a CV) Alesha Dixon, who will be chatting to Ray about her exciting career.

What a complete girl boss.

Ray and Alesha will be joined by one of Ireland's most famous familial pairs, and no, it's not Jedward.

Brothers Francis and John Brennan, will drop by to share some behind the scenes secrets from the new season of their hit television show At Your Service.

Longstanding Cystic Fibrosis campaigner Jillian McNulty will be on air to chat about the cystic fibrosis drugs Orkambi and Kalydeco, and she will be joined by others who will be impacted by having access to the potentially life-changing drugs.

Also happening this week is the annual bridal war.

The Ray D’Arcy Show is hoping to give three brides-to-be the chance to win their dream wedding band in a live, televised bridal showdown.

We can't wait to settle in with a cuppa.

There is nothing we love more than pouring over our favourite influncer's Snapchat story on the commute home, and each Irish influencer definitely has their own style and tone.

Doireann Garrihy has become a Snapchat star in her own right, after her original video of influencer impressions went viral five months ago. 

Now, the Spin 103.8 radio host has posted her second part of the influencer installation, and we're seriously hoping it will become a series.

This time around, Doireann has included Roz Purcell, So Sue Me and Pippa O'Connor in her impressions. 

The comedic genius has amassed thousands of followers thanks to her hilarious videos dedicated to some of Ireland's top personalities, and her impressions are uncanny.

The comic imitated the blogger's voices and accents perfectly, as well as mimicking their mannerisms and gestures.

Despite reports that Big Little Lies will not be making a return after the eery last episode which left fans with unanswered questions, one important player has given a statement to the contrary.

Author Liane Moriarty, who wrote the novel that the drama is based on, has hinted that she is coming up with concepts for a new season. 

"I have started to think about ways this could continue," she told The Sydney Morning Herald.

"The producers have asked me to see if I can come up with some ideas. I wouldn’t write a new book but perhaps a new story and then we’ll see what happens."

"The ideas started coming thick and fast, in fact…I'm absolutely open to it because, once I started thinking, it was too much fun to see what I could do and to see these characters again."

"And there's definitely places you can go … The obvious thing is, first of all, I think we could bring in more of Bonnie's story from the book," she said, referring to a character who lost her back story from the novel in the TV series.

Many BLL fans took to Twitter to mourn the ending of the season, so we're sure they will be thrilled to hear that the series may continue in the future.

Things like cellulite, stretch marks and so-called imperfections aren't often the first thing we see when we open a magazine.

However, that doesn't mean that models don't have these socially constructed flaws, it just means that they haven't chosen to showcase them in the pages of a fashion spread or in that perfectly lit Instagram bikini photo.

One model who is proud to show off her figure, cellulite be damned, is Charli Howard, who has shown off her dimples in a new post to promote her #AllWomanProject, which encourages women to embrace themselves.

"They, say do something each day that scares you, so re-posting this is mine for the day. Despite the fact I speed walk everywhere, squat, run and occasionally do @pure_barre, I'm still left with cellulite," she captioned the intimate image. 

"I went to an all-girls' boarding school and really used to envy the girls in my class who seemingly had none, and whose bodies looked, to me, nothing less than perfect." 

"Whenever I opened magazines, the models and celebrities I saw didn't have cellulite either – and if they did, they were shamed in the tabloids because of it, or knocked off their perch by nasty journalists who probably have it themselves. (Note: fuck you.)"

Charli has previously spoken out about the intense body constraints applied to women in the fashion industry, after she penned an open letter to the industry in 2015 after being told to lose an inch off her hips despite already being slim. 

“My mental and physical health is of more importance than a number on a scale, however much you wish to emphasise this,” she wrote.

The long weekend is just around the corner and with so many amazing events due to take place around Dublin, staying in is not an option. 

Here are our top five picks.

Ebow Gallery – ‘Bowie by Duffy’ photography show

Calling all Bowie fans, this one’s for you.

The Ebow gallery will open its doors to the public this Saturday for their first show in five years.

Bowie by Duffy has been described as ‘A celebration of the dynamic relationship between two of the century’s greatest artistic innovators.’

The show gives an insight into the relationship between photographer Brian Duffy and David Bowie. Brian snapped many iconic photos of the legendary artist, including the Aladdin Sane album cover.

Curated by Brian’s son, Chris Duffy, the show features a host of rare and previously unreleased images

Bowie by Duffy will run for three weeks in the Ebow gallery Castle Street, Dublin 2, and entry is free.

Cruinniú na Cásca

A nationwide arts and culture festival is coming to Ireland this Easter Monday and it's completely free. 

Cruinniú na Cásca, a Creative Ireland initiative is a free public event, taking place in cities and town across the country on Easter Monday.

Four zones across Dublin’s city centre will come alive between 11am and 6pm with celebrations of contemporary culture and creativity through live music, art workshops, talks and tastings.

Some highlights of festival include live performances from The Academic and Jack O’Rourke in Smithfield square along with special screenings of The Young Offenders and Room in the Lighthouse Cinema.

But if that's not your thing why not try a slam poetry workshop, learn how to DJ with RTÉ Pulse or stop by the science gallery and meet their pet robot?

Although all the music, performance and orchestral events are free of charge, event organisers recommend the talks, film-screenings, workshops be pre-booked to avoid disappointment.

This Saturday April 15, let Film Fatale Events transport you back in time with their most lavish masked ball yet.

Waltz to the sounds of the La Fete Quartet before dancing the night away as some of Ireland’s best vintage DJs take to the stage.

Morning Gloryville's rave with the Easter bunny

Morning Gloryville are changing the way we party. Born in London in 2013, they are the self proclaimed 'pioneers of sober morning raving'.

Back to the Heart outdoor yoga, St. Stephen's Green Park

What better way to cure a sore head than some Sunday morning yoga? 

Head down to St. Stephens Green Park this Sunday (and every Sunday) for a communal outdoor yoga session followed by a picnic. 

Don't worry if you don't own a yoga mat, a beach towel will do the same job.

So g'wan, give your mind and body some love this weekend. Who knows, you might even make a few friends while you're at it. 

The session runs from 11.15am – 12.30pm and a minimum donation of €5.00 is required to participate.

So, Ed Sheeran is currently in the country playing his sold out gigs in the 3Arena, Dublin.

While visiting the emerald isle, the singer took the time to visit Galway to shoot a music video for his smash hit single Galway Girl.

The star was spotted in a pub in Salthill, Galway, and as word began to spread about his location, a crowd gathered.

Uploading a snap of the crowd to Instagram, the singer said: "Thank you to Galway and all the wonderful people in it for helping us shoot a music video yesterday."

Never one to be exclusive, the singer also took to Instagram last night after performing the first of two sold-out gigs in the capital. 

Ed snapped a picture of the crowd, captioning it "Dublin night 1."

While the singer was in town, he revealed to 98FM’s Big Breakfast that Tommy Tiernan features in his new music video. 

While chatting about the video, the singer revealed that the comic asked him if the mayhem in Galway on Tuesday evening happens a lot.

"I said to him I shot a video in my home town in Suffolk and literally nothing near what happened in Galway. I do think it's just an Irish thing. I don't think there's any other place in the world like Ireland for me," Ed replied.  

Ed is clearly as big a fan of the Irish people as we are of him.

Got an Easter egg hunt planned for this weekend? 

Well make sure you wear your coat.

This bank holiday weekend is set to be a tad dreary, with patches of rain and cool temperatures. 

"During Good Friday evening and early night rain will clear southeastwards and it will become mostly dry with good clear spells developing. It will turning cooler and winds will fall light leading possibly to some grass frost," said Met Éireann,

"Holy Saturday is likely to be mainly dry with some sunny spells but scattered showers may affect the northern half of the country. Top temperatures of around 9 to 12 degrees in a moderate west to northwesterly breeze."

Easter Sunday will be "mostly dry over the south but showers or showery rain may affect parts of the west and north. Top temperatures may reach 11 to 14 degrees in light to moderate southwest to westerly breezes." 

On Easter Monday there is some patchy rain likely over the northern half of the country but the south is likely to stay mainly dry.

Bus Éireann services could be back on the roads this weekend. 

The Labour Court said that it will issue a recommendation in the hopes of resolving the ongoing Bus Éireann strike by lunchtime today. 

It is hoped that once this recommendation is heard, the strike will be called off.

National Bus and Rail Union general secretary Dermot O’Leary told the Labour Court that once a recommendation was granted, the pickets would be lifted, according to The Irish Times.

The strike has caused chaos for commuters, particularly in rural areas of the country. 

A ballot between Dublin Bus drivers was taken this week and saw a 78 per cent vote in favour of striking alongside Bus Éireann.

The organisation must give seven days notice of strike action, by which time the Bus Éireann issue may be rectified.

Since the start of last year, it seems like every 90s and 00s TV show is getting a reboot.

We're not going to lie, we absolutely love it.

And the latest to make a comeback is MTV's Fear Factor.

However, it's going to change a bit from the old days and will no longer have people eating rotten cockroaches or anything.

Instead, it's reportedly going to be "more playful with the hope of providing cathartic tension release along the way."

Even though we loved Joe Rogan as the face of the show, another change we're liking is the introduction of Ludascris as a host.

MTV president, Chris McCarthy, told Hollywood Reporter: “MTV is about celebrating youth culture, and with the reinvented Fear Factor, we are putting the power in our audience’s hands to face and overcome their biggest fears."

The show will premiere May 30 at 10pm.

It looks like we have a new Albus Dumbledore!

Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them has announced that Jude Law will take on the role of Dumbledore for the upcoming installment of the movie.

The role was previously played by the late Richard Harris and Michael Gambon.

Discussing the announcement that Jude will step into the magical headmaster's role, casting director David Yates said he can't wait for Jude to step into Dubmledore's shoes.

"Jude Law is a phenomenally talented actor whose work I've long admired and I'm looking forward to finally having the opportunity to work with him.

"I know he will brilliantly capture all the unexpected facets of Albus Dumbledore as JK Rowling reveals this very different time in his life."

In the film, it is reported that Dumbledore with battle his friend-turned-rival Grindelward.

It was previously announced that Johnny Depp will take on the role of Grindelwad, after a brief appearance in the first film.
