90s music is back in a big way, with B*Witched, Boyzone and Hanson all announcing comebacks.

Now, 90s pop icon Natalie Imbruglia is joining the nostalgic bunch with a gig in Dublin.

Talking to the stage on Monday, May 15 at Dublin's Vicar Street venue, the singer is set to display her dulcet tones in an acoustic gig.

"I'm so excited to be heading back out on the road again and chose these smaller venues as a thank you to my fans," the singer said.

"I love the feel of smaller rooms. It's as if I get to perform for each of them personally and really see them taking it all in."

Natalie will be performing songs from her entire catalogue, including her most recent
release Male, according to the Vicar Street venue.

We'd be pretty torn up if we missed this one (sorry).

When you think of Power Rangers, you probably get all nostalgic reminiscing about your childhood.

Skin care probably isn't the first thing that springs to mind.

To celebrate the launch of the up-and-coming Power Rangers movie, which will be out later this year, Glam Glow is answering our eight-year-old prayers by creating a Power Rangers version of their famous Gravity Mud Mask.

The masks are inspired by the Power Ranger villains, Rita Repulsa and Goldar, as portrayed by their rich villainous shades.

A post shared by GLAMGLOW (@glamglow) on

The masks are scheduled to launch in August and we kind of cant wait to get our hands on both.

Our childhood fantasies of kicking butt in a Power Rangers costume are one step closer to becoming a reality.

According to Glam Glow's Instagram, evil is the new sexy, and looking at these masks, we couldn't agree more.

It's morphing time, for our skin at least.

Dublin city is getting an amazing, and most importantly, free festival over the Easter weekend.

Cruinniú na Cásca will be held across Dublin city centre from 11am to 6pm on April 17, and it looks pretty cool.

The festival is celebrating creativity and culture in contemporary Ireland.

The activities for the festival include live music and dance, coding, theatre, art and music workshops, talks. food and drink tastings, readings and screenings.

"It’s an initiative that is close to my heart," said An Taoiseach Enda Kenny.

"The theme for Cruinniú Na Cásca 2017 is diversity and inclusion. As a people, as communities, we can only benefit from taking a day every year to think seriously about ourselves, to have important conversations – but also to share our experiences and to come together to enjoy our cultural heritage and the work of our artists and performers.

"I firmly believe that Cruinniú has the potential to enrich our social and cultural lives long into the future.”

The event is organised by RTE in association with Creative Ireland, and it's definitely an interesting way to celebrate Easter this year!

The Electric Picnic line-up divided the nation after it was announced at noon yesterday.

The XX will be headlining alongside A Tribe Called Quest and Duran Duran, but some people were left scratching their heads as to who these acts are.

In addition to these acts, Chaka Khan, Run The Jewels, Interpol, Father John Misty, and London Grammar will perform to thousands of music fans at Stradbally this September.

People were raging over the line-up with many complaining that they hadn't a clue who any of the acts were.

Others were indignant that the line-up was receiving such harsh criticism, and felt that the line-up was quite excellent.

Be confused no more, as here is your field guide to the main acts at this year's EP festival:

The XX

A post shared by The xx (@thexx) on

The XX are an unreal, award-winning band who have just released their third album, I See You.

The triad have an indie-pop, electronic-rock vibe which is difficult to describe.

Try listening to Intro and On Hold to get a feel for their sound.

A Tribe Called Quest

A Tribe Called Quest is an American hip-hop group that has been going since 1985, so they are like the OGs of hip hop.

Many Twitter users claimed not to know who the lads are, but they are responsible for classic anthems like Can I Kick It and We The People.

With a career spanning four decades, they are headliners for a reason.

They are also the subject of a critically acclaimed 2011 documentary film titled Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of a Tribe Called Quest, so if you need any more information, you can find it there.

Duran Duran

A post shared by Duran Duran (@duranduran) on

Anyone whop was alive in the 80s or early 90s will know Duran Duran's sound from a mile away.

Responsible for amazing songs like Ordinary World, the new wave, synth pop band were formed in 1978 and have gone from strength to strength.

While they may have appeared to be the quintessential 80s boy band, the lads have always penned theoir own songs and their sound is still enjoyable today, as is all truly good music.

Chaka Kahn

The legendary Chaka Kahn will be gracing the stage at Stradbally this September.

The Queen of Funk has a career that has spanned five decades, and her soulful songs are totally iconic.

People may not recognise the name, but with songs like I'm Every Woman and Ain't Nobody in her repertoire, people will certainly recognise her sound.

Pete Tong

A post shared by Pete Tong MBE (@petetongofficial) on

Pete Tong is bringing his Ibiza house classics to Electric Picnic, and it's going to be lit.

The DJ's history dates back to the popularity of acid house and one of the first waves of electronic music.

He's one pof the world's most coveted and recognised DJs, so his set is going to be class without a doubt.

Interpol

A post shared by Interpol (@interpol) on

Famous indie rock band Interpol are legendary.

Rocking since 1997, the American band have an innovative indie sound that is beloved by fans of the post-punk revival.

Try Evil and Everything is Wrong for a taste of what they have to offer.

Run The Jewels

A post shared by Run The Jewels (@runthejewels) on

RTJ (as they are known by the cool kids) is an American hip hop group formed in 2013.

The band are responsible for epic tunes like Legend Has It and Talk To Me, and the group are renowned for their tireless charity work.

London Grammar

London Grammar are a British trio renowned for their innovative sound.

The band are difficult to categorise thanks to their somewhat ethereal sound, but rest assured they are amazing.

We think the line-up for Electric Picnic is pretty decent, but what do you think?

Amy Schumer was all set to personify one of the world's most beloved children's toys.

However, the comedian has said she is “bummed” she will no longer be able to star in the live-action Barbie flick.

The US comedian was expected to play the lead role in the film, which was set to start shooting this summer.

A post shared by @amyschumer on

However, Amy's busy work schedule has caused her to pull out from the flick.

“Sadly, I’m no longer able to commit to Barbie due to scheduling conflicts," Amy said in a statement to Variety.

“The film has so much promise, and Sony and Mattel have been great partners."

A post shared by @amyschumer on

"I’m bummed, but look forward to seeing Barbie on the big screen.”

So are we Amy, so are we.

Amy is renowned for her fiercely feminist stance and taking pride in her realistic figure, so having her star as Barbie would have put an amazing modern day spin on the classic toy.

Pre-drinks are part and parcel of a night out, and from the drunken renditions of No Scrubs to the girly catch ups, we wouldn't have it any other way.

Ireland's love of a good pre-drinks session is reflected in a brand new study, which has put Ireland top of the list of countries that have "prinks" before hitting the town.

Ireland had the highest rate of pre-drinking out of 25 countries studied, which includes the US, Australia and Europe.

85% of people have a pre-drinks party before heading out to pubs or clubs.

According to the study, the main reasons for pre-drinking are pretty simple.

Primarily, the most often-cited reason for pre-drinking is to save money, as drinks purchased in shops of off licences are "substantially cheaper than drinks purchased in bars and nightclubs."

There is also the social aspect, as people love to chat and engage with friends in a more intimate setting before hitting Coppers.

According to the study, the "prevalence of heavy drinkers’ factor" is also a contributing element, meaning that people hope to arrive to the club already drunk so that they can stay drunk for a longer period of time.

The study also found that the higher the prevalence of drinkers in a country, the higher the percentage of pre-drinks.

Pre-drinks are definitely an ingrained tradition for a night out, and we can't see that changing any time soon.

Planning on heading home this weekend to see your mum? Well curling up on the couch for some great telly could be on the cards so.

The much loved Tinder on the Telly returns to The Ray D'Arcy Show this Saturday, but in honour of all our mammies, the show has a serious Mother's Day twist.

Ray is teaming up with one Mum, who will chose whether to swipe right or left on potential gal pals for her single son.

Keeping with the Mother's Day theme, there will also be special Mother's Day messages from Irish people looking to say a big thank you to their mams in a public declaration of devotion.

Ian Dempsey and Mario Rosenstock will also join Ray on the couch this week, for their first ever television interview together.

The creative minds behind Gift Grub will discuss their 18-year comedy collaboration, and they will pay homage to their favourite comedic endeavours.

They will also share their memories of their good friend, the late Tony Fenton, as well as their plans for the future.

Rounding out the Mother's Day line-up is disability activist Joanne O' Riordan, who will drop by to chat to Ray about why Ireland is lagging behind when it comes to the human rights of people with disabilities.

On a very millennial note, she will also be chatting about her decision to give up social media for Lent, something we could never manage!

First Dates has become an Irish institution, and between the Twitter banter and the actual show, we're officially hooked.

Usually, the show leaves us cringing, but last nights episode had a little something extra that made the cringe worth sitting through.

Carol, from Glasnevin opened up about how the Marriage Equality Referendum completely changed her life, and inspired her to be herself.

“I’d been spending too much time in the Porterhouse and not enough time in The George,” she chuckled, calling 2015's marriage referendum “life-changing.”

Carol was paired with the very retro and glamorous EJ, short for Elizabeth-Jane, and while the pair instantly hit it off over a whiskey sour, they unfortunately didn't feel the sparks and declined to go on a second date.

However, the potential couple reminded us of how amazing and positive the effects of the marriage referendum had on the LGBTQ community.

Adele has paid an on-stage tribute to the victims of the Westminster terror attack during her New Zealand gig.

The talented songstress dedicated her song Make You Feel My Love to those who died in the tragedy.

“Today there was a terror attack in my home town of London," the London-born star told her audience.

“Literally I’m on the other side of the world, and I want them to see our lights, and to hear us, you know, we’re thinking of them."

“It’s very strange not being home. All I want to do today is be at home and be with my friends and family."

"Everyone’s fine but there are four people that aren’t fine" she said.

“So let’s dedicate this to them tonight, and to my home town, which is my soulmate. This is Make You Feel My Love,” she finished, culminating the touching tribute with a song.

Four people lost their lives in the attack.

Eight people have been arrested in raids in London, Birmingham and elsewhere in connection with the attack in the British capital.
