Chad Michael Murray was the KING of heart throb TV moments.

From Cinderella Story to One Tree Hill, he certainly gave us his fair share of topless scenes and steamy romance stories (Peyton and Lucas in the motel, anyone?).

Well, it looks like the he's moving away from the TV, but not from the romance…

Yep, Mr Murray has written a novel… and it sounds pretty good. His rep told Us Weekly that he "has penned an adventure-thriller-romance novel."

The book is called American Drifter and was co-authored by Heather Graham, who you'll know from numerous movies and TV shows.

The story apparently follows an "American soldier backpacking through Rio de Janeiro."

However, we're going to have to wait a while to read the novel, as it's not out until this time next year.

Every year, the Glamour Women of the Year Awards honour some of the fiercest women on the planet.

As with any red carpet event, the style stakes were high, and the celebrities came out in force to prove their fashion credentials.

There were plenty of head turning looks that got everyone talking, from structured sleeves to acres of taffeta.

Ashley Graham

The plus-sized super model stunned in this beaded jumpsuit.

The choker detailing on the neckline left little room to accessorise, needing only a pair of diamond studs and some slicked back tresses to complete the look.

Gwen Stefani

Gwen dazzled as she arrived on the red carpet, ready to collect her Icon award.

The voluminous Marchesa gown complimented Gwen's usually eclectic style perfectly, as the taffeta dress added drama with oversized ruffles.

Cara Delevigne

The stunning supermodel looked gorgeous in her Elie Saab black lace dress.

The gown is totally on trend, combining ruffles, over-long sleeves and a choker neckline.

Zendaya

The 20-year-old singer and actress wore her statement on her sleeves, which were festooned with 3D applique flowers.

The look was stolen right of the Reem Acra Spring 2017 runway, with the life like blossoms jazzing up the otherwise prim and proper dress.

Demi Lovato

Demi cut a glamorous figure in her subtly geometric patterned two-piece.

Keeping things simple, Demi wore her hair in an up-do and added glossy lips and a classic cat eye.

Chanel Iman

Supermodel Chanel dazzled, quite literally, in her slinky silver gown.

The Victoria's Secret angel wouldn't have looked out of place at the Met Gala in the futuristic cut-out maxi.

Amber Heard

It's been a tough year for Amber Heard after her well documented split from Jonny Depp.

The young model looked radiant in an intricate, off-the-shoulder dress that perfectly matched her skin tone.

Lena Dunham

Lena has never been afraid to take risks with her style choices, which is why this demure maroon midi dress is a well-received surprise.

The writer and actress mixed it up with her hair however, opting for some trendy asymmetrical baby bangs.

Caitlyn Jenner

Caitlyn looked the picture of elegance in her burnt orange column dress.

The Olympian accessorised her gown with some minimal gold jewellery and went for full glamour with her do' choosing big, blown out Farrah Fawcett waves.

Fans of COS know that the contemporary brand often takes its inspiration from very unique places.

The Swedish high-street brand created a cult aesthetic, keeping its clean lines and minimalist silhouette season to season, creating a distinguishable uniform of artistic simplicity.

We had a peek at COS's Spring/Summer collection this week, and while the traditional COS favourites like the crisp white shirt and structured culottes were present, so too were unique new shapes and textures.

The brand has two distinguishable themes in its up coming collection.

The first is abstract sport, which plays on fashion's long-running love affair with sports-luxe.

Clean, simple separates in navy, cream and dove blue are the antidote to an autumn of rich ochre, satin pinks and Kardashian-induced nude shades.

Keeping with COS's penchant for easy breezy separates, the high street store took inspiration from fellow Swedish import IKEA, and introduced origami-esque flat pack folds in their new skirts and trousers.

The carefully structured folds mimic the DIY instructions of an IKEA furniture piece, creating a modern embellishment and maintaining functionality without sacrificing detail.

A favourite of all women, from art students to CEOs – COS is continuing to cement itself as the simplistic answer to fast fashion's obsession with novelty and disposable trends.

All of the new collection pieces will be as sartorially sound in five years as they are now, and all of their pieces can be twisted to work in an office environment.

If you're a friend of the environment, the fact that COS's new collection is made up of recycled cotton and recycled plastic overlays will make your day.

The re-purposing of these materials was an important element for the collection's second theme, romantic utility.

The romantic utility theme is comprised of sheer fabrics in a neutral rainbow of earthy browns, sands and creams, with floaty fabrics.

Statement pieces in the line include a recycled parachute maxi dress and matching parka, intended to create volume and movement.

Both pieces are semi-sheer, designed to be layered for cooler months or worn alone on warmer days. While a parachute might not be ideal work wear, the breathable khaki parka is a commuter's dream.

As for accessories, COS is serving up its usual smattering of artistic pieces, including a sculptured gold earring set with a corresponding necklace.

And the shoe shapes for Spring/Summer? A backless leather loafer in cream or black and strappy summer sandals, perfect to add edge to a summer dress or even pair with socks if you're feeling brave.

Socks and sandals is the greatest fashion faux pas to ever make a comeback, and COS' khaki green stompers are crying out for a woollen companion.

Overall, the soft shades of olive, pale blue, cream and stone grey call to mind a city in springtime, ideal for Dublin's corporate cool kids.

The collection will start to drop in store and online from February 2017.

She may have looked like she was doing a good job defending her life choices while appearing on Loose Women in May, but it seems Charlotte Crosby was simply doing an amazing job at keeping her composure.

Opening up about the interview which saw her discuss her decision to undergo cosmetic surgery with the show's panellists, Charlotte admitted that she found the experience incredibly traumatic.

"It was a horrible experience," she told New magazine. "I cried before and afterwards. It was awful."

The former Geordie Shore star admitted that she had reservations before going on set – something which she confided to Carol McGiffin – but put her best foot forward regardless.

"I spoke about it with Carol McGiffin beforehand. I said, 'I'm so worried about Janet'." the 26-year-old reality star admitted.

"I knew what was going to happen. I knew I was going to be judged because I'd had a nose job and scrutinised and basically picked on by Janet Street-Porter."

"Then my thought came true," Charlotte said. "Before I went on, my whole body was shaking. I would never in a million years go back on that show because it was a horrific ordeal."

Taking aim at the women who hosted the show that day, Charlotte simply said: "I was bullied. I'm never going on again in my life. I hated it."

We don't imagine Janet will take that accusation lying down.

The world turned to the Ecuadorian Embassy in London as Swedish prosecutors interviewed WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange over an alleged rape accusation dating back six years.

Assange has sought asylum in the embassy since June 2012.

While Assange may have drawn the crowds, the photographers turned their attention to another member of the Assange clan.

Appearing in the embassy window, Assange's cat looked inquisitively down at the hoards in a jewelled collar.

After posing for a few photographs, the cat seemed to grow tired of his moment in the spotlight, and disappeared from view.

In a bizarre twist, the cat later reappeared, this time wearing a collar and tie.

Looking extremely dapper in his red and white striped tie, the cat drew laughs from the crowd as it surveyed the commotion outside.

The cat in question is called Embassy Cat, and has his very own Twitter page with a following of over 24,000.

Clearly, computer genius Assange is bored, after having his internet privileges removed from him by the embassy in October.

Assange continues to face questioning over the alleged sexual assault but has not been charged with the crime.

Another day, another crazy fan theory.

There has been quite a few rumours going around since Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, and the latest one is nothing short of crazy.

After Kris and Rob shared snaps of Kim on Halloween, one fan claimed online that the robbery was just a cover-up for getting a butt reduction.

She fixed her botched butt with a 'robbery' lie .

A photo posted by THIS IS UR BACK-UP  (@roastkardashian) on

Many more added to it, saying she had a "tummy tuck" too, and another one even goes on to suggest she had numerous surgeries while being out of the public eye.

An Instagram account, @roastkardashain, shared a pic of Kim from a few months ago, and another one from the side on Halloween.

While her bum does look smaller, there honestly could be a million reasons for it. She's standing at a different angle, her costume is hiding her bum, or hey… maybe she's just been working out?

Fan theories need to calm themselves.

If you found yourself contemplating Foundation Level Maths in your Leaving Cert, you'll know only too well that the ol' arithmetic can get the better of most of us.

And while you consoled yourself by saying you'd never have to deal with it again after handing up your final Maths exam in 6th year, the big, bad world proved you wrong, didn't it?

From attempting to figure out high street sale prices to stumbling over group bills in restaurants, you'll know that your lack of skill in the Maths department is something that may well plague you for decades to come.

But don't worry, you're among friends here.

1. Working in retail is particularly difficult if customers change their mind on the amount they’re giving you.

“Oh, look I have a twenty after all! Here, you take this and here’s another ten cent.”

2. Trying to figure out how much you’re saving in a sale is absolutely pointless.

“20% off? Jesus Christ, you literally need a degree to buy a bloody dress.”

3. Countdown is not exactly your favourite TV quiz show.

“Wait now, there’s a 75 in the mix. I’m out.”

4. Being handed the bill during a group dinner is the equivalent of holding a ticking time bomb.

“WHAT?!  Not me! Someone else take it!”

5. Reflecting on your education, you struggle to understand where it all went wrong.

“I’m sure I aced my Mental Maths quizzes up until first class. That must count for something.”

6. Being asked to use a scientific calculator in secondary school felt like detonating a bomb.

“It says ‘error’. Is ‘error’ the right answer?”

7. The thought of helping your future children with their Maths homework brings you out in a sweat.

“They’ll find out my secret. I’ll have to employ someone to do it.”

8. When your teacher started introducing more letters than numbers in class, you officially peaced out.

“Nah, not for me.”

9. You have been known to employ unusual methods to help you navigate your personal finances.

“Just wait! If I fold this twenty euro note in half, I’ll be able to figure it out.

10. You’ve had countless people explain bookies’ odds to you, but you know you’ll never understand it.

“Hahaha oh yeah, I get it now. 13:1. Absolutely.”

11. Any sum that included a decimal AND a fraction is not something you needed in your life

“Nope. Done.”

Nothing – and we mean nothing – screams “it’s Christmas” more than watching The Sound of Music on the telly.

So it is not surprising that it has been voted Ireland’s favourite musical to watch at the festive season, according to new research.

Yup. The seven von Trapp kids – Liesl, Friedrich, Louisa, Kurt, Brigitta, Marta and Gretl – Maria and naval officer Captain Georgt have stolen the hearts of people all over the country.

And Maria (played by Julie Andrews) has even scooped the award for favourite female character from a musical beating perfectly ladylike Eliza Doolittle from My Fair Lady.

However, while the von Trapps are our favourite musical family, it seems most of us would prefer to sing-a-long to Somewhere over the Rainbow than The Hill are Alive.

The research was carried out to celebrate the Bord Gáis Energy Student Theatre Awards and parents, students and teachers across the country are reminded that the awards are open for entry.

There are a number of group categories including ‘Best Overall School Musical’, ‘Best Overall School Play’ and ‘Best Original Production’, a new category added to the 2017 Awards.

The deadline for entries in all production categories is 27 January 2017 and closing date for entries in the written categories is 10 February 2017.

When it comes to penning top-notch tracks, music industry moguls know they don't come much better than Ed Sheeran these days.

So, it's no real surprise that the folk behind the X Factor have earmarked the 25-year-old for this year's winner's single.

With tracks like Thinking Out Loud, Photograph and The A Team under his belt, Ed has undoubtedly made his mark on the charts over the last few years, and X Factor bosses want to give their winner a taste of the same success.

“Everything Ed does turns to gold,” a source told The Sun newspaper. “To have him write the winner’s song is huge and amazing news for this year’s winner."

Like the show's bosses, this year's aspiring stars know affiliation with Ed will do wonders for the song's chart position, with the insider adding: "All the remaining contestants have heard the track and it works for the majority."

"They can’t believe potentially their first ever single will be written by Ed.”

But if you can't quite get your head around the idea of Honey G belting out an Ed Sheeran original, don't worry because you're not alone.

Acknowledging that Ed's style and lyrics won't work for every potential winner, bosses know Ed isn't a viable option for the likes of Honey G.

"The only chance his song won’t get used is if 5Am or Honey G pull off a shock win. Then bosses might need to consider another one of their options.”

Honey G doing an Ed Sheeran tearjerker? No, thanks.
