Late last week, Vicky Pattison sent the rumour mill into overdrive when she posted a touching tribute to Alex Cannon on social media.

But while the popular reality star may have shared “a special moment” with the model, she now seems to have redirected her affections back towards her former flame John Noble.

This morning, the 29-year-old Newcastle native took to Instagram to share a loved-up snap of herself and John as he joined her mother on a trip to Australia, where Vicky is currently filming the I’m a Celebrity… spin-off show Extra Camp.

In the image, the former Geordie Shore star can be seen kissing the businessman on the cheek as they celebrate her birthday.

The post’s caption furthers the idea that she and John have rekindled their romance as it reads: “What’s meant to be will always find a way.”

According to the Mail Online, John is already well embedded in the Newcastle social scene having previously been pictured partying with Vicky’s former co-star, Scotty T.

The world of dating is a weird one. It's full of unspoken rules that nobody really follows and now we even have terms for when people are being… well, for when people are being d*cks.

And the latest term will make you want to run into a dark place and cry yourself to sleep.

Why? Because it has happened to ALL of us.

'Breadcrumbing' is when a person sends flirty texts and gives you loads of attention so you end up hoping it'll turn into a relationship… but they never commit to you. Ever. They just string you along.

The term has been around in the US for a while now and as the New York Times describe it: "It really is a cousin of the 'friendzone'. It's about relegating a person to a particular dead end, but one that still keeps them hanging on in some way.

So you know when they 'like' your Instagram selfie, but then say nothing to you in person? That's breadcrumbing. Or when you don't hear from them for weeks and then they randomly text you to see what your plans are for Saturday night? That's breadcrumbing, too.

Dating is a hard game.

Laura Whitmore, 31, and her Strictly Come Dancing partner Giovanni Pernice, 26, left the show earlier this month amid rumours of a feud between the two.

Now Laura has been accused of being a "bully" with friends of the Italian dancer coming forward to speak out about the pair's relationship. 

"Laura was a piece of work, she really was. She made Giovanni’s life hard" a source close to Giovanni told The Sun. 

Incredibly, Laura has also been accused of sending abusive text messages to the dancer, undermining his skills and "basically saying he was no good and was not doing anything for her and abusing him."

"She was a difficult, cold fish – she was a bully to Giovanni and he behaved like a total gent. Giovanni is just relieved it’s all over" finished the source. 

The pair left the competition in Week 7 after competing in the bottom two.

Another source disagreed about how the events unfolded, telling the DailyMail.com: "Gio was quite mean to her backstage and it tainted the whole experience for her."

"She isn't a submissive person and they had a few professional disagreements," said the source.

Laura is also known to be good friends with Giovanni's ex-girlfriend Georgia May Foote, who he partnered with on Strictly last year. Awkward. 

“The atmosphere between Laura and Gio was never that great, but it’s now turned toxic" a third source also told The Sun.

“They clashed during rehearsals as Laura got increasingly agitated with Gio’s tone and general rudeness."

Gio was also accused by the experts of stealing the limelight in their final dance which ultimately cost them their place in the show.

In May this year, Geordie Shore fans were devastated to learn that Charlotte Crosby had suffered an ectopic pregnancy while carrying Gary Beadle’s baby.

Having spoken candidly to Heat about her traumatic ordeal, the much loved reality star made the admirable decision to donate her interview fee to The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust and the St John and Elizabeth Hospice.

Last night, the 26-year-old television personality announced her intention to extend her support to The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust by revealing that in the run-up to Christmas she will be selling Christmas jumpers in an effort to raise funds for the charity.

According to a post on Charlotte’s Twitter account, £1 from the sale of each jumper will be donated to The EPT.

Currently, two types of jumper are available through InTheStyle.com – a ‘Santa’s My Boyfriend’ piece and a ‘Sleigh My Name’ style.  Both jumpers cost £19.99 (or €26.26) and are available in red or black.

The former Celebrity Big Brother winner has been praised online for her charitable intentions.

“Couldn’t be prouder what a wonderful inspiring woman (sic),” tweeted one fan.

Many of us grew up loving the Spice Girls, and after seeing this footage, we're so glad they were our role models.

In a video that has just surfaced online, the girls are seen shaming a sexist film director who wants to make them look sexy for the camera.

The girls were dressed in school uniforms, but the director wanted them to show some cleavage and their midriffs.

Having none of it, Mel B approaches the man and says, "Why did you ask that?"

The man in sun glasses and a yellow top asks, "What?" before Mel says, "To have cleavage showing and a midriff showing?"

It didn't end their though, with Mel shouting, "Well you can f*ck off," before Geri and Victoria join in.

Unless they're a particularly close friend or relative, it's difficult to muster up enthusiasm for the grainy ultrasound images which are appearing on our social media feeds with increasing frequency.

While we're thrilled for the happy mum or dad-to-be, we'd by lying if we said we could see more than a blurry outline nestled among even blurrier blobs.

(And no, we definitely can't see the similarity to your cousin Mick.)

But at the same time, we're generally able to see the difference between an ultrasound and a popular Italian dish…unlike one woman on Facebook whose recent remark is now going viral.

That lasagna looks crisp…

After spotting an upload, she made the mistake of offering her opinion only to be told she had mistaken a foetus for a family dinner-time favourite.

Beneath an ultrasound on her newsfeed, she wrote: "That lasagna looks crisp" to which the person responsible for the upload replied: "That's my daugher."

And if you need us, we'll be lying in a darkened room.

It was just before Christmas two years ago when the Gouvea Horan’s lives changed forever. Sadly, when their daughter was just two-and-a-half years-old Amanda Gouvea Horan's parents, Paula and Ned, were told by doctors that their little girl had leukaemia.

A devastated Paula recalls: “It was like the floor went from under me. In an instant our whole world came crashing down."

"Amanda has Down Syndrome but that’s not a problem, it’s a blessing. Leukaemia, that’s a problem.

"So as soon as I heard, I said ‘let’s get started, lets fight and kill this Leukaemia, I want my child alive’."

Soon after, the long journey through treatment began, and it took a toll on Amanda, physically and emotionally.

It was a social worker in Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin who recommended Barretstown to the Gouvea Horan family, not just for Amanda, but for her parents and her two older sisters, Luana, nine, and Giovanna, seven

Before visiting Barretstown, Paula noticed Amanda had ‘lost her smile’ but staff and volunteers at the charity helped gradually build up confidence and bring the fun back into her life.

Their trip to Barretstown brought the whole family back together as they laughed, played and enjoyed each other’s company in a safe and fun environment.

In a bid to raise much-needed funds and to help even more children, Barretstown are asking people to donate to their Christmas Appeal.

Piers Morgan is no stranger to online controversy, but it looks like he may have really overstepped the mark today following his interview with fitness guru Joe Wicks,

Joe, who rose to fame as the Body Coach on social media, joined Piers and Susanna Reid on the set of Good Morning Britain today, and the viewing public are far from happy with how it played out.

According to irate tweets currently filling the Twitosphere, viewers were stunned by Piers' approach to the interview, and wasted no time calling him on it.

According to researchers from the University of Leeds, sharing a bed with someone who tends to snore or sleep talk can have a detrimental effect on your own health.

Research concluded that 29% of participants suffer from sleep deprivation as a result of their bedmate – a condition which can increase the risk of depression, heart disease, respiratory failure and stroke.

Good thing we secretly kept those throws and cushions – some people, who shall remain nameless, are sleeping on the couch tonight.

She’s no stranger to the gym, but it seems it could be more than Ellie Goulding’s love of fitness that’s enticing her there.

The Starry Eyed singer has sparked romance rumours with her personal trainer, Bobby Rich, after it emerged that the pair had posted matching images of Ellie on their personal Instagram accounts.

The photo shows the 29-year-old songstress covering her face with a bouquet while attending a wedding which is believed to have taken place two months ago.

But while fans have become increasingly convinced that the pair are an item, a source told The Mirror that Ellie is still single.

“They’ve been hanging out for a number of weeks as friends as well as training,” said the insider.  “Their friendship isn’t something she’s keeping quiet as she’s posted about Bobby a number of times on social media.”
