Zara Phillips has suffered a miscarriage less than a month after announcing her pregnancy. 

The 35-year-old and her rugby player husband, Mike Tindall, 38, are now grieving their loss together, although it is not believed that the British royal is in any medical danger. 

The duo, who married in 2011, already have a three-year-old daughter, Mia.

It seems that she was about four months into her pregnancy with the baby due in late spring.

A spokeswoman for the couple confirmed: "Very sadly, Zara and Mike Tindall have lost their baby. At this difficult time, we ask that everyone respects their privacy."

The Tindalls were due to spend Christmas with the Queen and their extended family in Norfolk.

Zara is, of course, a granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II and a cousin to princes William and Harry. She is also a equestrian champion and holds an Olympic silver medal from London 2012.

The gorgeous humans at Creme and Sugar in California created this magical treat, and we are so happy they did.

The best part is, this bark is really easy to create, and all you need is food colouring, white chocolate and colourful sweets!

When it comes to early Christmas presents, it doesn't get much better than a new baby!

Congratulations are in order today for model mogul Andrea Roche, who has given birth to her second child.

The 39-year-old welcomed a son, Alexander, to the world with her husband, Rob White.

The couple are also parents to two-year-old daughter Sophie, and the adorable tot was at the centre of the big announcement.

A delighted Andrea took to Instagram to share her wonderful news, posting a photo of Sophie cuddling her newborn baby brother beside the family's Christmas tree.

“A new little brother for Sophie just in time for Christmas. Welcome to the world, baby Alexander,” wrote the doting mum.

Andrea's legion of followers took to the comment section to share their messages of love and congratulations.

“Wow, great news! Perfect family!” wrote one fan, while others complimented the parents on their choice of name.

What lovely news, at such a magical time of the year! Congratulations to Andrea and the family.

We all love our dogs, and might get them a nice new toy or a tasty bone for Christmas (if they don't pull down the Christmas tree in the mean time, that is).

Emma Buttarazzi is on another level when it comes to spoiling her pooch, and this year spent a whopping €5870.00 on Christmas presents for her Chinese crested pup, Prince.

We wouldn't even spend that much on our boyfriends to be honest, never mind our dogs.

Her high-end haul includes a personalised Swarovski crystal throne for her pup costing a whopping €2346.00, three custom made designer suits retailing at €300 each, and a plethora of toys, beauty supplements and tasty treats.

Emma, who runs a luxury pet website called Glamour Petz, has spent over €23,466.00 on Prince's lavish lifestyle.

“Nothing is too good for Prince and I love to spoil him at Christmas. He’s one of the family,” Emma told the Mirror.

"Prince loves being the ­centre of ­attention. He loves dressing up. I like to spoil him. I work hard and this is how I like to spend my money.”

The hairless dog has over 200 ensembles in his custom built wardrobe, and enjoys a healthy diet of freshly prepared steamed turkey and chicken, organic vegetables, scrambled eggs, coconut water, and herbal teas. 

That's one spoilt little puppy.

The magic of Christmas is clearly going strong in the royal family, as Kate Middleton splashed out on a pair of burlap sacks to hold her little one's Christmas presents.

At more than two and a half feet tall, the sacks easily surpass three-year-old George and one-year-old Charlotte.

The sacks were ordered specially from Selfridges, but are made by homewear and lifestyle brand Harrow & Green.

These festive accessories are sure to be a sell out now that they have the royal stamp of approval.

The sacks are emblazoned with a customizable name and message, along with (fittingly) a crown. 

The gorgeous sacks come in at around €33, which is a little pricey for some printed burlap, but they'd definitely look amazing beside a well decorated tree.

The young family will be spending Christmas day with the Middleton family rather than the royals this year.

Snapchat is probably one of the fastest-growing social media networks of the past few years.

And with 2017 looking huge for the the company, it looks like another major player is hopping on board.

Disney has announced that they will create short shows that will exclusively be available on Snapchat for a 24-hour period.

According to Reuters, the first show will be called Watch Party: The Bachelor, and you won't have to wait to see it, because it kicks off January 3.

It'll be about recapping the events of the US TV show, as it starts its 21st season on January 2. And taking from this, the Disney shows will be aimed more at adults than children – so that's good news for us!

Apart from that though, the two companies are said to be working closely together and have extensive plans for the months and years to come.

The 'leap second' is officially a thing now.

Yep, because of the Earth's shifting rotation, 2016 is going to be one second longer this year in order to adjust with the planet.

However, the 'leap second' is apparently going to cause major confusion to computers, as of all things, they're not equipped to handle a 61-second minute.

And so, Goggle has decided to create a new unit of time, called 'smeared time', that will stretch out regular seconds to make them last longer.

The new measure will be applied to Google's Network Time Protocol, which will allow the tech giant to keep all machines using its servers to withstand the extra second.

Google said: "At the beginning of the leap second, smeared time will be just under 0.5s behind UTC.

"UTC will insert an additional second while smeared time continues uninterrupted, causing smeared time to become just under 0.5s ahead of UTC when the leap second ends."

So just as the clock strikes midnight, if you're not kissing someone, have a look because time keepers said we can expect the clocks to read 11:59:60 instead of 11:59:59.

Harry Potter isn't the only thing JK Rowling is famous for.

Nope, she also wrote novels under the name of Robert Galbraith, and now, they're being turned into a TV show.

A new BBC series inspired by JK's novels has gotten the green light and has officially begun filming.

Cormoran Strike is a series of novels the author wrote, and like the books, the TV series will have a different name for each season.

It's based around a private investigator who is hired to look into a super model's supposed suicide, and what unravels on his search for the truth.

The debut season will be called Cuckoo's Calling, and season two, if it goes ahead, will be named The Silkworm.

JK is tweeting as Robert Galbraith and giving us little inklings into what the show will be about.

Well, this turned around quickly.

Just five days ago Charlie Puth and Bella Thorne were kissing each other on a Miami beach, and now… well, now they're fighting on Twitter.

When they were spotted kissing everyone thought they were an item, but then Charlie started tweeting out apologies last night and Bella posted a photo of her ex, Tyler, on Instagram. 

Then Charlie switching from being sorry to being a tad confrontational. And his tweets? They kinda took aim at Bella and accused her of cheating on Tyler.

Of course, Bella isn't one to take that sitting down, so in one simple tweet she shut him down.

Let's hope that the last of 2016's celeb Twitter wars!
