Here in SHEmazing Towers we're big fans of no-nonsense weight-loss. And in our books that means shedding the excess pounds of winter without scrapping our three-a-day Maltesers bunny habit. 

Now another weight-loss tip that's right up our street has come to our attention: namely that drinking WINE before bed can keep you slim.

Hallelujah!

We have Washington State University and Harvard to thank for such an invaluable contribution to health science – they found that a chemical called resveratrol stops your body's fat cells gaining more fat, therefore helping you stay slim. 

And where is this wonder chemical found? That's right – in WINE!

According to scientists, drinking at least two glasses – aka a half a bottle – can help beat obesity by some 70 percent. 

But wait.. there's more: the University Of Denmark found that people who drank everyday had slimmer waistlines compared to their sober counterparts, while Harvard’s weight gain study of 20,000 people revealed that out of all of those that gained a large amount of weight, none of them were drinkers.

Washboard abs, toned arms and perfect legs… Vogue Williams might have a body to die for, but she makes no secret of the hard work she puts in to stay looking her best.

The model regularly shares photos and videos of her high-octane workouts on social media, and it's clear she's not one to slack off in the gym.

Case in point is this bum and ab workout, which Vogue shared with close to 100k followers on Instagram yesterday.

We're getting tired just looking at the short clip, showing an intense mix of pylometric box jumps, squats and burpees which Vogue blasted through with the help of her trainer, Maya Saffron.

The worst part? This was only a tiny portion of the model's workout – she promised to share the full thing on her Hello! magazine blog next week.

Wow. And it turns out we're not the only ones feeling envious/motivated by Vogue's latest workout video – her fellow model Nadia Forde was quick to comment on the post, calling Vogue her "fitspiration."

Nadia has been hitting the gym hard herself of late, after dropping over two stone in the last year through a mix of clean eating and no-holds-barred workouts.

"I go to the gym four or five days a week now," she told the Irish Independent last month.

"Boot camp taught me how much we can do in the gym if we really push ourselves. You'll never find me just going in for 20 minutes anymore and floating through.

"I'm in for an hour and sometimes I'll do a class along with my workout in the gym. I feel guilty if I don't go to the gym but that's just become a thing lately."

Fair play to these two amazing ladies.

She's the reality TV star who's shed around 3st over the last year via a healthy eating and exercise plan. 

But now Lauren Goodger has admitted that the weight-loss has distorted her 34E breast implants. In fact, the 29-year-old says that she needs to go back to her surgeon to get them checked out.

Speaking to New! magazine, Ms Goodger reveals: "I got so much flak for the silver bandage dress I wore on a night out recently.

"Loads of people said my boobs looked weird and too far apart, and I agree – they did."

She adds: "I still love my boobs and I'm not planning to have them reduced, but I think I'm going to go back to my surgeon to check they're OK."

Last year, while showing off her new figure in a gorgeous House Of SHB playsuit, fans expressed their concern that the Towie star's breasts looked painful and unnatural. 

“I think she needs to get those implants looked at… they look deformed and shifted out of place or something,” commented one.

“Does anyone else think there might be something wrong with those implants??” asked another.

A third said: “I think her make-up looks really nice here but those boobs look so painful! Ouch!!”

Two years ago Ms Goodger treated herself to a €8,500 34E boob job after yo-yo dieting left her breasts lacking “volume”.

Calling her look “very natural,” she explained to New! magazine at the time: “I've always had big boobs and where I've done extreme yo-yo dieting, exercise and then not doing anything at all, I felt like my chest had lost a bit of volume on the top.

“They're very similar to my old boobs but they've got more volume rather than them flopping down a bit.”

British actress Emily Blunt is reportedly in talks to take on the role of the iconic Mary Poppins in an upcoming sequel to the 1960's classic. 

The sequel will reportedly take place twenty years after the events of the first film and is to take plot lines from other P.L Travers' books about Mary's continuing adventures with the Banks family. 

Emily, who we think we make an excellent Mary though we don't envy having to fill Julie Andrews' incredibly large shoes, was a favourite for the role ever since she worked with Disney execs on 2014's musical offering Into the Woods. 

Rob Marshall, who directed Into the Woods, Chicago and Pirates of the Caribbean, is set to direct the fantasy sequel. 

Though talks are ongoing, many news outlets are reporting that Emily's recent announcement that she is pregnant with her second child to John Krasinski may influence her decision on whether to take the role. 

The deal has not been finalised but according to Variety, Disney are eager to get production rolling. 

The original 1964 movie saw Julie Andrews play the infamous magical nanny who changes the fortunes of a miserable family in London.

Rihanna should be on top of the world right now. 

Despite production delays, she has just released her brand new album ANTI which is being well received by fans around the globe. 

As is usual with a new release from the hard-working singer, we expect to see her everywhere from making appearances at any televised she can get on to new videos being released a mile a minute. 

But Rihanna has been noticeably quiet. 

The star reportedly cancelled her performance at the Grammys at the very last minute citing bronchitis as the reason for her failure to turn up. 

However, reports swiftly followed that the 27-year-old had a meltdown during rehearsals for the performance and stormed out. 

Today, we are receiving news that the singer is now delaying her upcoming ANTI tour. 

According to Billboard, the tour is being postponed due to production delays. 

The hotly anticipated concert, which are due to start at soon as the end of this month, will now reportedly begin in mid-March. 

The new album was also flooded with production issues as reports circulated that Rihanna was desperately looking for more songs worryingly close to the release date. 

Having changed record labels since her last release and as we still wait for a music video for new single Work featuring Drake, we hope all is actually okay over in the Rihanna camp. 

Someone needs to be able to give Queen Bey a run for her money.

The latest series of the X Factor fell fowl of some harsh criticism from audiences last year and it seems that the big boss Simon Cowell took notice. 

Akin to drastically changing the format and layout of the talent competition, it seems that Simon has also got rid of a presenter and a judge. 

According to the Mirror, new judge Nick Grimshaw as well as one half of the presenting duo, Caroline Flack ,will not be returning for next year's show. 

The BBC Radio 1 DJ confirmed yesterday that he will not be making an appearance in another season of the show. 

"After careful consideration, Nick’s decided to rule himself out as a judge on this year’s X Factor," said a spokesperson for the star. 

"He loved working on last year’s series alongside Rita, Cheryl and Simon but it was very much a once-in-a-lifetime experience. He remains a massive fan of the show and is looking forward to watching it this year."

Meanwhile, Caroline Flack seems to have paid the price for the incessant criticism of her presenting skills alongside Olly Murs. 

Despite Olly making several cringe worthy blunders during the ITV competition last year, it's Caroline that seems to have got the axe. 

While rumours circulated last month that the show was to be removed from the air for a few years, ITV confirmed that the show will run until at least 2017. 

Simon's show faces competition from the Voice which was bought by ITV in a million-pound deal late last year.

Last week, Kanye tweeted that you can listen to his full album over on his website, and with that came a full credits list.

It was the who's who of the people that took part in making the album, but there were two unforeseen names on the list.

Yep, Kanye included his new son and daughter as 'creative consultants', and to be honest, we're not surprised.

A little confused, yes, but not surprised since Kanye is going all-out mental at the moment.

Good to know a two-month-old baby already has something to add to his CV, though. Sound, Kanye.

A young woman who was diagnosed with cervical cancer has shared her story online to warn others of the signs and symptoms.

Heather Keating from Tipperary was diagnosed with cancer of the cervix at just 24-years-old. 

Beforehand she went to her doctor because she was getting irregular bleeding and bleeding after sex.

Her doctor told her that since she was only 24 she wasn't eligible to get a smear test and to come back when she turns 25.

But the symptoms persisted and worsened and Heather became anaemic. It was then that she was referred to a specialist who diagnosed her with stage one cervical cancer.

In her message on Facebook, Heather said, "never in my wildest dreams did I think I had cancer."

Fortunately, her cancer was caught early and didn't spread. Four weeks later she was given the all-clear (you go, girl!).

But the whole experience came with a lot of pain. "That was the most dramatic emotionally painful experience of my life and no one should ever have to go through it."

If you love having long eye lashes but HATE having to apply falsies, then this is the hack for you.

Beauty vlogger, Huda Kattan took to Youtube to show her followers how to achieve super long lashes in just a minute.

All you need is some cotton wool, a spoolie (which you can find at the end of some eye liners) and your usual mascara.

After you apply a first coat of mascara, Huda tells you to then cover your spoolie with cotton wool, and transfer onto your lashes.

Do this a few times are the results are amazeee. She'll even show you at the end the difference between just mascara and cotton-lined mascara.

Now, go fourth and make those lashes rock.

It was one of our FAVE TV shows of the 90s, and now it's hitting the big screen.

The first trailer for Absolutely Fabulous has arrived, and while it's short, we can see that the movie will probably be a bit mental.

Edina and Patsy are seen on a beach, enjoying the sun, the booze and the men, when a voiceover starts to speak.

"When you must have the best, be sure to choose something cool, something refreshing, something… absolutely fabulous."

The return of the cult classic will see the full cast together again and while most of the details have been kept under wraps, it's rumoured that Kate Moss and Harry Styles will make a surprise appearance. 

The movie is due to hit cinemas on July 19 and we totally just cannot wait!

If these pictures are anything to go by, Lorde has a steamy new man on her hands.

The singer was spotted on a beach in New Zealand last week with hunky Universal Music promoter Justin Warren, and it looked like the pair were having a lot of fun together.

But despite the frolicking snaps, Justin says there's absolutely nothing going on.

"Ella and I have worked together for years and we're good friends. Any rumours of us being 'a pair' are ridiculous," he told the New Zealand Herald. 

"Ella has a really busy year ahead of her and we'll be spending more time together as plans for the next Lorde record unfold."

Even though he said all this, we still have our suspicions. Firstly, usually promoters use the performers stage name instead of their real name, sparking rumours that the two are quite close.

And secondly, usual business meetings don't involve frolicking and playing around on a beach. Hmmm.

Lorde split from her former boyfriend James Lowe late last year, and while the singer hasn't confirmed it, many sources say they had an amicable split.
